It increases estrogen in men and women, can lead to the awful epidemic of "bitch tits" or "Man boobs" even for young boys, and can reek havoc on your digestive track. Thyroid receptors can be completely blocked/intercepted by soy; not allowing your thyroid to function properly. I know we all thought soy was a health food but that is a thing of the past and if you haven't gotten the memo you have now. Soy is NOT a health food and no one should be consuming it especially if you're suffering from thyroid disease!! Eliminate all sources of soy from your diet and make sure to check any processed or package foods because soy is lurking in most of them. Start protecting your thyroid now!
