This newfound time to reflect is a great opportunity to see the connections between one pice and the next. Phi came out of my fascination for geometry and patterns found in nature. It’s apparent that it’s as relevant in my current work as it was then, although now, I can see many more layers of meaning. I’m revisiting the practice of sacred geometry and making new links every day. Phi was a piece I made for a show that was curated by @alexis_soul_gray . That is why I love walking around places like Audubon Park & spending time amid the trees. ➡️ Trees are always at risk for external dangers in their lifetime but Trees teach us to be tougher and stronger when faced with the worst challenges. ➡️ That is why I loved discovering this big beautiful tree around the Audubon park lagoon.
