I love that Titouan Droguet is doing so well and I can't help but root for him, but at the same time if Lorenzo Musetti loses in R1 I'm gonna riot

Francavilla al Mare Ch F: Titouan Droguet [1] def. Jacopo Berrettini [WC] 6-3, 7-6(4) Match Stats
📸 ATP official website
Jacopo had his fair chances to turn the match around as he tried to absorb some pace from the French first seed, but the latter still managed to stay steady under pressure as he nailed the critical moments through his passes. This way, he managed to convert 43% of his 7 break points thanks to his point construction, while Jacopo could only convert 33% of his 6 break points throughout both sets.
On the other hand, it appeared that both players had their own service game strengths. T. Droguet served 3 aces compared to Jacopo's 1, winning 16% more first serve points to get himself out of more troubles. However, Jacopo turned out to stand out on his second serves by 6% with a 68% winning percentage compared to T. Droguet's 62% despite the latter's consistency as his second serves looked 4% lower than his first serves, even though both players double-faulted just once.
This turned out to be T. Droguet's maiden Challenger title after becoming the runner-up to Chun-Hsin Tseng in the Szekesfehervar Challenger 2 months ago, propelling his rank with a career-high of 131 live, with his next tournament being the Tunis Challenger as the third seed to face Billy Harris in the first round. On the other hand, Jacopo steadily re-entered the Top 600 by ranking 531, earning a Special Exempt to compete in the Oeiras 4 Challenger, facing third seed Emilio Nava in a possibly highly-anticipated competitive encounter. Could be a neat week to follow, in their regard!
