wada sez: Very explicitly a prequel to The Transformers: The Movie, titled after the movie’s own opening narration placing its events in 2005. In the film, the Decepticons are shown to have taken over Cybertron, with the planet’s moons acting as staging grounds for an Autobot resistance, and Autobot City peacefully protected on Earth. Sky Lynx shows up here ahead of his debut without fanfare in the third season of the cartoon. See below for a clean preview panel.

wada sez: A riff on the origin of Powermaster Prime, created by Hi-Q, whose armor is seen in the foreground of the final panel. Bove comments on the continuity of this piece: “Oddly though it wasn't intended when written (this was nearly a year ago) this story could fit in with current IDW continuity if you think about it...” Parrish meanwhile said: “I always loved Powermaster Prime, I think mainly as he was one of my most played with 'bots - So we really wanted to do a story that put an interesting spin on a genesis and set up a bit of an alternate story - as with War Journal, we love alternate stories ;) lol.” On his own deviantART Parrish went into some detail as to his artistic influences, naming inkers Tim Townsend and Rachel Dodson. I also know many of you like Joe Walker, and Joe said he’d come back for this, BUT said on stream that if they don’t get this, he’s not coming back to acting AT ALL. And I know no one wants that, let’s not let Joe down there!

Not to mention the NEW NEW projects like Gross Prophets AND Intelligent Life which we just will NOT get if we don’t reach the goal, and that quite genuinely would be so upsetting, especially with Gross Prophets as this is the FIRST TCB project to have two AMAZING women (Ali Gordon and Angela Parrish) taking the helm on original music which would be AWESOME to see!

And for overseas peeps this also allows them to do shows out fo the US for the FIRST TIME EVER! Not only will they be doing a smaller version of Spy Another Day, but the reason they’ll be in the area is to also do the EDINBURGH FRINGE FEST with Solve it Squad which would be MASSIVE! Plus we will also get stuff in Adelaide as well! Alongside those we WILL get digital tickets for many of them, so even if you aren’t in the area, don’t let that deter you from pledging!
