HII SPROUTS HANDLER! How's dealing with shrimpo going?

(based off someones head cannon that sprouts handler can deal with you better than others)

Oh, Shrimpo? He can be a handful, but it's nothing I haven't seen before. To be honest, I do see my past self in him sometimes... maybe that's why I don't get as riled up like the others, despite his many efforts in trying to do so.

I wish we could do more for him, but it's really in the hands of the higher-ups when it comes to what we can do with the Toons.

Gardenview had never been this busy on a holiday weekend—unless there was some kind of event or pending task to be done. But this time, it was just a normal day.

Not to mention that the Toons’ Handlers rarely showed up unless it was under strict orders from Delilah or Arthur. So, naturally, all the Toons were trying to figure out what was going on or what was keeping the staff running back and forth without stopping.

Even the Mains weren’t getting any attention! And considering they were usually the Handlers' top priority, everyone was equally surprised.

"Dandy, are you sure Devan didn’t mention anything?" Poppy asked, resting her face in the palm of her hands, clearly curious and anxious to know what was happening outside.

"Ah… Poppy, I’m going to give you the same answer I gave you the last ten times: no." Dandy replied, flipping through drawings that various kids had made during their visits to Gardenview and left behind.

"Nothing bad happened, right? Delilah rarely meets with our Handlers…"

"Stop worrying that music box of yours, Boxten! I already told you everything’s going to be fine!"

Poppy tried to reassure Boxten, hoping to keep him from spiraling into an anxious, worry-filled state.

The atmosphere was starting to grow tense as everyone began coming up with their own theories and speculations about what could be happening. The fact that no one knew anything, and that it was all so sudden—even for the Mains—was far too strange.

"Uuuuh… What dumb designs, looks like a radish."

"Yeah, a really ugly and dumb radish."

"Oh man, they look so ridiculous with those little flowers around them!"

Suddenly, not-so-discreet murmurs and laughter from Gigi and Connie started echoing louder through the room, causing all the Toons to go silent just to hear what they were talking about. Not only did it spark curiosity about their conversation, but also about whatever it was they were laughing at.

Vee, who had been standing with Shelly and Sprout just moments ago, walked over to the two Toons with a deep frown, filled with suspicion over whatever they were scheming.

"Ahem. Do you two plan on showing us what you’ve got?" Vee demanded, crossing her arms as her gaze flicked between Gigi and Connie.

A brief silence settled between them as they exchanged glances, before Connie sighed and Gigi pouted slightly, reluctantly revealing the papers they had been holding.

"Let’s just say I took a little stroll through Delilah’s office while they were busy and found… this." Connie explained with a teasing lilt, barely holding back a laugh at Vee’s deepening frown upon realizing she had been snooping around in Delilah’s office.

Vee immediately started scolding Connie, yelling at her about how she shouldn’t be digging through the founders’ (their creators’) belongings, since it was strictly forbidden. Not to mention—it was also stealing. She also blamed Gigi, accusing her of plotting to rummage through Delilah and Arthur’s things while all of this was going on.

While that whole scene was unfolding, Sprout noticed a sheet of paper that Connie had set aside while reluctantly enduring Vee’s scolding. Curious, he moved closer, picking it up to examine it in more detail.

The details on the page left him completely stunned—no, more than stunned.

In the upper left corner, the name Y/N Seedly was written. Meanwhile, the center of the page was filled with designs of this Y/N, depicting a rather childlike appearance. The design closely resembled a growing plant, with its greenish tones and the tiny leaves that barely looked like hair. Below that, Delilah and Arthur’s signatures were present, along with a couple of extra notes marked as "to be added" or simply labeled as "notes" about Y/N.

“She doesn’t look any older than Toodles… She actually seems smaller than that ‘Y/N.’ I’d even say the kids who visit Gardenview are older than this one, and Gardenview accepts kids as young as five…”

Rodger’s sudden voice snapped Sprout out of his thoughts, making him aware of the growing warmth he was feeling—and the countless eyes now locked onto the paper he was holding.

“Wha- WHY ARE YOU ALL STANDING BEHIND ME?” Sprout exclaimed sharply, only just realizing the sheer number of curious Toons gathered behind and beside him, all trying to get a look at what he had in his hands.

Rodger continued mumbling possible conclusions based on the most logical explanations, but Sprout wasn’t paying attention anymore. His focus was entirely on the name written on the page.

Why did they have his last name? Were they supposed to be related in some way, or was it just a coincidence—?

“Alright, that’s enough chattering, everyone. We’ve got a new friend! But hush, okay?”

A new voice—one that was very well-known among them—rang out, immediately quieting all the murmurs and scattered conversations as the Toons turned their attention toward Devan.

Sam entered the room, cradling a small bundle wrapped in a soft red blanket with white polka dots. From the gentle rise and fall of the bundle, it was clear that he was holding someone.

Sprout was the first to step forward, moving toward his Handler to get a closer look at what he was keeping so carefully hidden. He already had a slight suspicion about what—or who—it was.

Sam knelt down to Sprout’s height, gently bringing the tiny figure closer. Nestled within the soft cotton blanket was a small being, peacefully asleep.

“Hey, looks like you finally have a family of your own,” Sam murmured, offering Sprout a soft smile. “Meet Y/N Seedly—your new sister.”

He spoke the last part in a quieter voice, knowing that Sprout didn’t like hearing his last name spoken aloud, especially in front of everyone.

“Uh… Am I holding her right?” Sprout asked, a hint of nervousness in his voice as he carefully adjusted his grip, unsure of how to properly carry his new little sister.

“Perfect. You’ll get the hang of it soon enough.”

Sam stood up, ready to share the news with the rest of the Toons. Meanwhile, the Mains gathered around Sprout, peeking curiously from the sides but careful not to disrupt the little moment he was having.

Sprout’s tail began wagging from side to side as he gazed down at his new sister, like something straight out of a fairy tale. That settled it—he would take very good care of her. Nothing was going to happen to her, not on his watch. He was going to be the best big brother in the entire world.

Slowly, he reached out and gently touched the tiny leaves sprouting from her head—soft, pale green, not yet fully grown. The same went for the small tail she had, barely visible and still too underdeveloped for any properly sized leaves to form.

Carefully, he pulled her closer to his chest, making sure not to wake her and disturb her dreams. That protective feeling inside him only grew stronger. He had to keep her safe. Nothing—not even the smallest harm—was going to touch his little sister.

So I mentioned I quickly wrote a Shellevision story last night... And I'm just gonna fuck everything and post it here. Yay!

Vee giggled as she watched Dandy’s little rock dog run off after the ball she had just thrown, having a great time winding down with Pebble after a long day of work. She was just relaxing with a fuzzy dark green blanket wrapped around her, despite never getting cold, her handler was very insistent on her keeping warm when she was outside in the colder months like this. Thus, she always had a blanket when she was out, even if it was quite warm for an autumn night. Vee looked up at the sky, smiling a little at the stars twinkling above. She looked back down as Pebble came rushing back over with the ball in his mouth, his tiny body popping up over the slightly overgrown grass every time he bounced forward towards her. It was oddly adorable, even if Vee would never admit she thought such a thing. She just held her hand out, and once he had approached, the ball dropped right into her hand.

"Good boy Pebble, good boy. Now go fetch!" Vee praised before she threw the ball, watching as the rock dog ran off after it, sighing when he faded off into the distance. She then looked back up at the stars, tilting her head a little. People say you could make wishes on them, right? She squinted at that idea, as there probably was no way that was even slightly true, even if it did seem like a fun idea. Her wish would never come true, regardless of how many stars she'd wish upon. She lowered her screen and looked beside her, smiling a little at the empty spot. Usually Dandy or Astro was there to help her watch Pebble to make sure he didn't run out of Gardenview's park, but it was just her today. She honestly couldn't have been more grateful, she would've been a wreck if one of them knew she was thinking about her again. Vee held out her hand again as she heard Pebble approach, and once the ball was once again in her hand, she just tossed it for him yet again. Pebble barked before he ran off, as he tended to do, while Vee was still kind of lost in thought, looking back up at the stars. Maybe she could wish for her to be there... No, she can't be dumb, there's no way she'd be able to come out and look at the stars tonight. She shook her head to clear her thoughts, putting a hand on her screen to help bring her back to reality. There's no way- she stopped her thought when she heard someone walking over. She had to focus on life again... They can't see her being such a mess. Though before she could say anything, the other just sat down beside her, and she couldn't honestly believe her eyes when she saw it was exactly who she was thinking about.

"Hey Vee, I thought you'd be out here. It's a nice night, isn't it?" Shelly asked quietly as she settled in her spot, adjusting her multicolored dinosaur themed blanket around herself before she looked at the absolutely bamboozled robot beside her.

"Oh uh, yeah, Pebble wanted to play fetch again so, I came out here, I wasn't expecting you to join. It's nice to see you though." Vee replied, smiling as she held out her hand for the pup, and only turned to look at him as she threw the ball again. She watched as he chased after it, then she turned back to the fossil now sitting beside her, who was silently staring up at the stars with a look of peaceful bliss on her face. Vee couldn't help but to smile at that, admiring her peaceful state and the small things that just made Shelly so precious. Like her little freckles, the little dirt stains that would never leave her shell no matter how much they scrubbed at them, the tiny cracks from the many tumbles she faced as a young toon. Vee moved a little closer, though she had to stop herself from getting too close, as she knew her screen must be buzzing from all the emotions she felt right now and didn't want to be caught staring at her best friend like this. Though she desperately wanted to get closer, to hold her, to touch her even the slightest bit, she wouldn't let herself. She wouldn't let herself just confess that she loved Shelly more than just a best friend... She couldn't, she couldn't risk losing their friendship. She started to back away a little, but Shelly gently stopped her with a hand on the side of her screen. Vee gently nuzzled her screen into her clawed hand, unable to stop herself anymore... She must tell her she loves her, even if it might cost everything. She must know.

"Shelly..." Vee mumbled, though she was gently stopped before she could even say what was on her mind.

"I love you too, Vee. I love you too." Shelly quietly said as she put her forehead against the top of Vee's monitor, her other claw soon gently holding the other side of Vee's screen. Vee was a blushing disaster, wondering how she knew that's what she was going to say, having absolutely no idea how much of a lesbian disaster she had been lately. Shelly wasn't going to call her out on it though, and was instead moving in for a kiss, however they were interrupted.

"Arf arf!"

The two immediately turned and looked at Pebble, having completely forgotten he was even there, their faces both bright with blush. Pebble, seeming to understand he was interrupting something, just picked up his ball and ran off to go inside. Vee just looked back at Shelly afterwards, gently putting a hand on her arm and nuzzling her screen back into her claws.

"I love you so much Shelly..." Vee quietly stated, smiling as she felt the fossil gently put her forehead against hers again. This felt so right, all of this, this all just felt... Great. Vee couldn't help but snuggle herself closer to Shelly as the other gently scratched the sides of her head, feeling so at ease with her so close. She could tell Shelly felt the same way, as she heard the other let out a relaxed sigh as they stayed so close. Neither had wanted to move, however, they knew they had to soon, they both realized that this probably doesn't look like just two friends bonding under the stars. They looked at each other before one dared to move... They knew they weren't just friends, they knew they'd have to admit that one day, they both could tell by the look in their eyes. Vee however was the first to move, as she carefully and slowly sat back up and moved Shelly's hands away from her face, though she couldn't hide how disappointed she was even if she cared to try. Shelly couldn't either, she could tell she was trying, but it definitely wasn't working out for her. Vee looked around, then looked back at the fossil, quickly attempting to think of a way they could enjoy the other's company like that again, then she had an idea. She quickly got up and turned around, unwrapping the blanket from herself before laying it down on the grass, then she simply... Pointed to it. Shelly looked very confused, as she had absolutely no idea what was going on, but slowly got up and sat down on the blanket anyways. Vee sat beside her gently, then looked over at her, watching her very confused expression for a minute as she tried to process everything. She confessed to Shelly, Shelly said she loved her back, and now Shelly probably thinks she's lost her marbles as they sit on her blanket together. How would she fix this..? She thought a little more, but before she said anything, Shelly looked back up at the stars again, then at Vee, then at the stars.

"Oh my goodness, you wanted to cuddle and stargaze like we did as little toons, didn't you? I'm sorry, I just, I didn't expect any of this and I'm-"

"It's okay, let's just cuddle and let ourselves understand what happened." Vee stated quietly, and Shelly just nodded in agreement, laying her blanket beside her before she laid down, having her left arm tucked under her head and her right arm out for snuggles. Vee immediately joined her, curling up against her right side and putting her head on her shoulder, ignoring the red fluff from Shelly's onesie that covered up part of her screen. Vee just wanted to cling to Shelly for a while and not think about anything, so she gently hugged her and clung to her onesie, which Shelly obviously didn't seem to mind as she just wrapped her free arm around her. The two then laid in silence, watching the stars together as they held each other close, seeming at peace with each other. Vee had missed this... It's been so long since they both were able to just cuddle and not think about what anyone had to say about them, and she knew Shelly probably did too. Vee barely understood how nobody really liked her, Shelly was such a kind and caring toon, always looking out for her friends and cheering them on. Yeah she smelled like dirt most of the time, but... It's grown to be a comforting scent to her. She's such a kind toon with such a sweet voice and caring soul... How could anyone not see that? Vee frowned a little at that thought, she probably shouldn't think too hard about that right now. She looked over at Shelly, who looked lost in her own thoughts as well, then decided to do something a little random to see if it'll help them both relax more.

"Hey Shelly, what constellations do you think the dinosaurs saw?" Vee quietly asked, getting a surprised look from Shelly in response, then a shrug.

"Honestly, they probably wouldn't have seen what we see, since the stars move and die, but they probably saw some pretty cool ones. If they even looked at stars... Oh, maybe we can find some star clusters that make dinosaur shapes!" Shelly replied with a sudden burst of excitement at her own idea, and Vee just nodded, watching as Shelly moved her arm out from under her head and soon was pointing out constellations that just barely looked like simplified dinosaurs. Vee didn't ever correct her though, she just listened to her ramble as she relaxed, feeling safe and secure as they both looked at the stars. She knew that no matter what now, they knew they weren't just friends anymore, and she was honestly more than okay with that. No matter what would happen to either of them... They'd always have the other right there to cheer them on. No matter what happens to Gardenview, they'll stay together. Vee looked up at Shelly again, then she looked back at the stars as she relaxed her body a little more, gently clinging to Shelly just a little tighter. Maybe wishes do come true after all... Vee squinted at the thought, no, she still wouldn't believe that. That's just childish thinking, even if her own dreams did come true that night.

"Why hello dear! You know, I have actually thought about what I'd look like if I was the same species as the toon handlers. Didn't know they were called humans, but you know what they say, you learn something new everyday! This does surprise me quite a bit though, I would have thought for sure my suit would be pink! And the mic as well, does that imply that as a human—as you'd called it—I'd be a musician?"

[He pauses for a second before standing up and leaving the room. Walking down the hall, it's surprisingly quiet.]

"A lot of the other toons are out on a run right now. I had a slight ichor scare yesterday, so I was voluntold to sit out. I don't mind though, I would have asked away."

[He rounds a corner and sets the camera down on a desk. There's some typing, and then a short "aha!"]

"Here it is! The other day I'd found a website that allows you to create little images of characters. I'd made myself into a human using it!"

[He picks up the camera again and points it towards the computer screen.]

[The camera stays for a couple seconds before turning back.]

"You know, I've just realized I never answered your original question! I'd definitely be surprised if I suddenly turned human, but I wouldn't be mad with it I suppose! Anyway, thank you for the question(s) darling!"

I’m Sprout the strawberry! pretty sure that was obvious… This is my Askblog, where you.. ask.. the blog. And the Toons on it

You can Ask anytoon, and even the Handlers—just be respectful of boundaries. The Toons running this Blog are Yours Truly, Cosmo, Dandy, and Glisten.

(Not Connie anymore because she took some things too far… But she is still Askable.)

Let’s get some Rules straight…:

-You can Ask whatever (just don’t get too nosey…) [/Ooc: This can be bent a lot! just choose carefully who you ask, some Toons can be pushed for more information than others! c:]

-Don’t get into any NSFW, or Violent topics on this Blog. Not in asks, not in comments, not in reblogs. [*/Ooc: Cartoon Violence? Sure. But no realistic Gore.]

-Don’t bring Political things into this either [*/Ooc: This is supposed to be a goofy roleplay account, with a side of AU Lore…]

-Be nice to Cosmo.

-Bully Glisten for all I care, he hacked into my Account anyway

-Don’t harass anybody (except for Glisten with asks about his glass :) )

Hello! Welcome to yet another Dandy’s World AU Roleplay Account!

*Dandy’s World, and Character’s from it, belong to BlushCrunch.

*Any OC’s, and AU Storylines, are the only things I own really…

⭐️Brief Story on this “Shelly’s World” AU!

(Aka the “Reformed!Dandy’s World AU”… Unless I think of a better name.)

This is a Universe after the events of the Ichor turning all of the Toons Twisted. Everyone has long since been recovered, and with new CEO’s and staff being hired—A New Show was started; Shelly’s World!

With the other Mains (discluding Dandy, he was not present for a while…) feeling unable to take the New Role as the Star of the Show, Shelly was chosen because of her Honest, Brave, Kind and Caring Nature!

Extra Notes:

-Every Toon is Askable, so are OC’s and Toon Handlers!…

-If you want to know more about OC’s or OC Handlers you can always ask Ooc or Mod about it! (Just note clearly that you are Asking the actual blog Owner!)

-Toons access the Blog through their Phones or Computers, so you don’t send Asks to their brains or anything…

-Asks do not take effect until a Toon or Handler answers one.

!! ASK RULES !!

-No NSFW, or Realistic Gore. (Preferably avoid suggestive things…)

-^That means: DON’T BE “FrEakY” basically.

-Don’t make Diddy jokes… From the little I have heard, it is not funny.

-Please do not rant about really serious things.. If you’re just having a bad day, and need to vent a bit, that’s okay! But if you need help with Mental Health stuff, please find a number or something. (/I don’t mean to come off rude or anything….)

-Do not use slurs.

-Do not send M!A’s (Magic Asks) dumping Water on Vee or anything like that. No plucking Dandy’s petals either—You know who you are.

-Don’t spam the same Ask repeatedly… Resending it a couple times if Tumblr is bugging is fine, but it gets obvious when that isn’t the case.

-Smaller thing but like, don’t go calling Coal, Bobette or Dandy “Fat” or whatever.

-DON’T add to the AU Lore, either through roleplay or otherwise. Or making a character bring up nonexistent larger plot-points and acting like it’s part of THIS AU specifically—because then you’re kind of painting on another persons canvas. (Just something I felt I should note.) <This does not go for a character being unaware they’re not in the world they think they are.

Important Notea:

Because it is the Toons running the blog in-lore, they will not answer any Asks that go against these Rules.

Please don’t take it personally if I don’t respond to an ask… Either they would delete it, I had no clue how to respond, or it went against a Rule.

If character deletes an Ask, it will be in the SW!Lost Asks tag. With the reason for its deletion/whether the Toon or character just didn’t like it.

YOU CAN:

-Swear in Asks; Just *preferably* do not swear at me or the Toons…

-Send characters objects, basically anything (that isn’t against the Ask Rules)… But if you were to say, give them a full on Rifle, they might get in trouble for having that…

-Roleplay as a Toon or OC! Just don’t pretend it’s specifically from the same AU. I have some specific ideas for each of the Toons… By default. Roleplaying as an in-game Toon will likely make them assume they are a “Cousin” (Clone) of a Toon.

-Be a little bit mean to *some* Toons. Mostly Toons that are a little mean anyway—Glisten, Vee, or Sprout—Just don’t take it too far! (You could send a goofy threat to make Sprouts family bald, for example… But going into great gory-detail on a death threat is an obvious no.)

-^You can bully them a bit, but do not harass them. So don’t go sending “I grab Cosmoc and smooch him 2 million times :333” or ANYTHING like that.

-Interrogating them with deeper questions is fine. Just pay attention to see if they’re getting too annoyed—because then they might start ignoring those Asks otherwise… (Not that I’m mad at you, but the Toons might be, and I try to stay in character with what they’d do…)

! MAGIC ANON LIMITS !

-MAGIC ANONS Can effect up to 5 Asks. But only 2 if it’s a more drastic change.

-Giving a Character an Object can be infinite: if the Object itself isn’t physically magical in some way. (Sending Cookies or Flowers can stay with characters, but a Magic Wand would only last a few Asks.)

-You cannot change a Character Physically. No changing a Toons Object, or turn them into an Object. (Sadly no turning them into jellybeans either)

-Don’t go stealing control of an SW!Character. You can’t just; “The Shelly from this AU kidnaps Cosmo, stabs him, and ties him to a heavy object to drop into the Ocean!”

-IF you want to have a longer-lasting effect.. you cooould try and manipulate convince a Toon to do something that will be of interest to them. Or bribe them, if you will… :)

-This is a Shelly’s World AU/Post Infection Recovery AU!

-I might also call it the “Reformed” or “Rebooted” AU? I’m still deciding… Also, “Rebooted” might be taken- IDK TAKE IT WITH SALT I guess.

-Shelly, Sprout (of course), Astro, Vee, Pebble and Dandy are all around… (Also Bobette, but this isn’t about her :>)

-In the present, “Shelly’s World” is the replacement Show while they rework the old “Dandy’s World” Episodes!: With Shelly Starring in it, her show is a mix of Education and Entertainment! Meaning Finn, and a few of my OC’s, help teach things depending on what the Episode is about. (I am still deciding who else Co-Stars with her)

-After the Ichor-Infection was cured, some (*few) Toons are still conflicted having Dandy back again…

-Most of the Toons have Clones, which have to wear tags with their Clone Number so they aren’t confused for Original Toons… They are not referred to as Clones in front of Visitors; they are called “Cousin’s” or “Siblings” instead. Some Clones have their own unique names and styles, others haven’t found one yet.

-This is supposed to be 13-15+ max, but for the most part, I’d wish to keep this Blog silly!

-^There *might* be existential stuff, I’m not sure…

-This is my Main Tumblr Account, my other is @lilythecaattt! for reblogging and stuff.

-I don’t really swear, so if Sprout starts using words like “Flipping” or “Freaking”, it’s because I tend to do that xP

-I’ll use a “🍓” in tags when Sprout is speaking! In text, I’ll use text “ [🍓]: “Like this.” ” When a Toon is speaking! Same goes for each Toon, in their respective colors.
