Opinion on Humans in Transformers Stories

When humans interact with the Autobots in the Transformers movies, I want them to be well-developed characters. They don't need to be the main protagonists, but they should at least have captivating backstories and be charismatic enough for me to empathize with them and care about their survival.

I understand that, for some, human characters in movies featuring robots or even giant monsters can be annoying. For example, the protagonist of the 2014 live-action Godzilla movie was so bland and lacking in charisma that I can't even remember him, and I didn't care about the other forgettable characters in the film either. However, a Transformers movie I really enjoyed was Bumblebee. The friendship between Bee and Charlie was adorable, making it easy to like this duo.

So all I ask is that in the next Transformers stories, the producers create decent human characters.

Fun bonding activities with your human!

(Prime Tip: always commit to the bit)

•Prank your human by pretending you’re actually just a normal car/truck/ambulance/plane/helicopter when they already know you’re not

•Stand outside their window at night with your lights off and wait for them to notice

•Tell them about sparkeaters

•Insinuate you will have Ratchet microchip them. Later, insinuate that you have already done this. Discuss this with other mechs in earshot of your human

•Make creaky noises while they walk and offer them a can of WD-40. Recommend it as a good vintage

•Bring them bouquets of random plants you dug up because you’re pretending you don’t understand that humans like flowers

•Treat random human vehicles with deep suspicion. “Human, you cannot get on that bus. It might be my lifelong enemy, Businator. He’ll kill you. Human, why are you rolling your optics at me?”

•Point to random beater cars and say “That would make a great alt mode for you”

Humans are cats but what if Cybertronians are dogs?

Im going crazy over how big of an impact human can make on a bot. Despite humans so much short lived compared to them, they formed a bond that could last forever.

A self indulge hc of mine: human's bond with their alien robot buddies have an effect on the spark as well, leaving a permanent print on it if the bond goes deep. Their bot buddy want to sparkbond, but that's physically impossible, so a part of the cyb's spark would always look out and yearn for their human buddy.

So whenever their human bud is around or is found somewhere, could be from a distant or they hear their voice- the spark goes "OMG OMG LITTLE AMICA/CONJUX IS HERE, THEY'RE HERE THEY'RE HERE THEY'RE HERE <33333"

You would have to get used to being randomly picked up or snatched, and seeing your robot friend in their alt-mode appearing outside your front yard.

If some bots are weird or unhinged enough, they'd lick your face idk.

Considering humans are a lot smaller and more fragile, cybs tend to get protective over their charges. Is like scary dog privilege, your personal bodyguard. Being able to trust someone so big and dangerous to not hurt you, the dream.

A bit territorial/possessive over their human. I think their equivalent of barking is aggressively loud honking toward eachother. Get a leash or something if your cyb have rabies.

Imagine human companions finding those kind of letter magnets people use on their fridges and sticking them on their cybertronian friends when their not paying attention, spelling out silly messages and taking bets on how long it takes for them to notice. Longest running is a whole day on particulary distracted bot (wheeljack working on something perhaps, or some of the more overworked bots). Would they even feel anything off if their plating is thick enough? Fridge magnets aren't usually all that strong. Mabey its like when people put sticky notes on your back.

hello world i am back with transformers and human stuff my brain has become rotted

what do they think of sports, the olympics, stuff like that.... i feel as if depending on the bot they'd love different types of sports but maybe basketball is a favourite amongst all ?

some of them would like ice skating i think they'd be mesmerized seeing their human twist and turn like that so beautifully on the rink

others would find rugby either incredibly violent or awesome like yes you guys slam into each other ! that's concerning / cool ! stuff like boxing, wrestling etc too

@chaetocercus has been enlightened me about marsupials and Soundwave w/ his little family and I can’t help but love it a lot 🦘 it’s very cute but also very cool considering how funky marsupials are! Also consider exhibit A: red kangaroo does (females) are also called blue-flyers because of their coloring! Blue mamas that are very jacked 😌 it’s only the best for them (also, apparently drawing kangaroos is fun, they have a fun shape to them)
