Day 4 Denmark is known for having little sunlight. During winter, tourists will be lucky to see seven hours of sunlight. However, in the summer there could be over 18 hours of daylight. Today we drove through Zealand Island to get to Helsingor’s city. Our first stop today was Kronborg, a magnificent renaissance castle built in the year 1420 and reconstructed in 1578. This castle was the inspiration for Shakespeare's play 'Hamlet' and the most powerful and important castle in Scandinavia. Afterwards, we took a 20 minute ferry ride from Helsingør (Denmark) to Helsingborg in Sweden. After a 3 hours drive, we stopped in Jönköping, a city on the shores of Lake Vättern, in southern Sweden. It’s known for its long lakeside beach, Vätterstranden. In the center is the 19th-century Sofia Church, with its neo-Gothic design and towering spire. Later on, we visited Mariefred, situated in the Strängnäs Municipality, Södermanland County, Sweden with a population of 3,726. In this city there was a beautiful castle, located on the shores of Lake Mälaren. Gripsholm has belonged to the Swedish Royal Family and was used as one of their residences until the 18th century. Das Bild entstand bei einem der größten Abenteuer im letzten Jahr. Beim @derkanutrip 🛶 in Schweden. Wir haben dort einen tollen Felsen gefunden um ins Wasser zu springen. Das wussten Flo und Ben natürlich zu nutzen und sprangen was das Zeug hält. Der Felsen war ca. 3-4 Meter hoch und der See war angenehm kühl. Die Temperaturen zu der Zeit lagen bei über 30 Grad und es gab keine Mücken.
