i love how grease rotpl reads like SUCH a musical. the choreography and way they filmed it felt so reminiscent of the way one watches a musical and it made my heart swoon a bit. also the talent of this cast is INSANE. oh and how could i forget, poc leads...in the fifities...being the main focus of the show!!!!!!!

We should always discuss how great Ari is (ABSOLUTELY DESERVED, THEY ARE FREAKING AMAZING) but can we also talk about Tricia in that coming out scene? Her character doesn't know what's going on, and, as we recall, has had bad relationships with her friends and is concerned about her newest friend. Nancy knows that she is mad, but she doesn't understand why, and just wants to comfort her, while, in her heart, knowing that the issue is far more complex than Nancy would ever understand. Tricia plays the part of a confused girl so well, and it was no question for me that she would accept her, partly because of who we already know Nancy to be, and partly because Fukuhara, when she read it, immediately had surprise, and then softness and sympathy in her eyes, before deciding what to write down.

This is an absolutely beautiful cast that should have had at least three more seasons after this, because they're all extremely talented and deserve better.

Marisa is making amazing points: she is saying that Paramount has ended their contracts so there is no possible way that they can bring the show back or give us a season 2, so DO NOT bother them anymore. BUT, it is possible for other platforms to buy them and produce a season 2 if they know that they can afford it and that they will have a fan base to support it (US!!!) so please please please do your part and reach out to all of the platforms you can!
