request: hi, can i make a request? casically it’s some headcanon of how the kamaboko squad, genya and kanao are with a reader who is a very cheerful and talkative person but one day they becomes quieter since another person (maybe another demon hunter) told them that they’re annoying and that they should shut up very rudely, perhaps some headcanon of how they are dealing with that situation when seeing that the reader no longer speaks as much as they learned to love, i hope it is not a bother! have a nice day~

Genya is rather aloof but also short-tempered and is not afraid to raise his voice at someone, dislikes being surrounded by many people and tries to avoid anything that might have to do with human interaction.

↘ It was a sunny afternoon, you had some free time for the first time in weeks; some focused on training like Tanjirou, some went to the nearest city to buy a few things like Nezuko, Kanao or Aoi, some slept for several hours like Zenitsu, and some ran around the forest and chased animals like Inosuke. You also had many things planned; you wanted to clean up, rest a bit and bake cookies with your boyfriend, but you didn’t show up at the appointed place the day before. So Genya went to the Mitsuri residence, who was your master and you her tsuguko.

↘ There he found you sitting on a wooden engawa with a cup of steaming herbal tea and a sad expression on your face. And although your partner has not shown much affection in your relationship, this time without the slightest comment he sat right behind you and hugged you from behind, resting his head on your shoulder.

↘ “We'll talk about it later, okay?” He asked, and you just nodded, slightly tilting the right corner of your mouth upwards.

↘ You knew that the stupid comments thrown at you were just to destroy your day off, but you were still very sad that day – luckily you could count on support from the person closest to your heart and you appreciated it very much.

↘ You ran to your boyfriend, showing him a tiny green frog. She looked sick – her delicate skin was dry, but there was nothing strange about it, the valley had been extremely hot for several days, and there was still no sign of rain. Scared, you started asking him questions one after another, hoping that your lover would help you with the sad-looking amphibian.

↘ You’ve always had a loud voice, so your monologue was heard by several people walking towards the pool. You never caused anyone a problem, you were really kind and helpful, but that day one of the Demon Slayer Corps members had a very bad headache, so your voice spreading between the wind noise was definitely not on hand.

↘ “Ey, will you shut up finally? It’s just a stupid frog that doesn’t even know you want to help it.” The teenager looked at you pissed, and you instantly fell silent, looking at the little frog again.

↘ “I-I’ll take her to the pond.” You whispered towards Inosuke and he just nodded towards you. At the same moment you walked away a few steps, your partner approached the boy sitting on the bench.

↘ “Want to make your head hurt even more, huh?!” He screamed, almost immediately causing another attack of health ailments in the young man and, by the way, fear visible in his eyes.

— KANAO

↘ Kanao has almost never been in public and has also never raised her voice before because of her emotions. She shunned large groups of people and the only people she had a very close relationship with were you, the Butterfly Mansion girls and Mrs. Shinobu, as well as Tanjirou, Zenitsu and Inosuke and sometimes Genya.

↘ You and Kanao have been dating for a while; it was a very calm and understanding relationship. You understood her way of being and she understood yours. You two were extremely different, but you had a really good time and you weren’t bothered by her silence at certain moments, and she was never bothered by your cheerful attitude and perpetually smiling face. She considered it an asset and an extremely cute quality.

↘ And she was sure everyone thought the same; you were a really good person and surrounded yourself with a bright aura of love and understanding every day. You were always the first to help someone, you always tried to make everyone around you happy, you often sacrificed your health for work and other people. That's why Kanao was surprised to hear two boys talking, laughing at your childish and carefree behavior. Plus, they called you ‘stupid’ and ‘fake’.

↘ That day, Kanao had a serious conversation with Oyakata-sama, who admonished her not to use the katana if there were no demons around... But he also praised her for standing up for you.

— TANJIROU

↘ Tanjirou was not a person who was drawn to conflict – quite the opposite. He is the calmest and most understanding guy you know; he is always honest and tries to make each party happy.

↘ However, there are two exceptions that cause Tanjiro to release a huge amount of anger, and these are situations when someone hurts his beloved sister and his dearest partner, i.e. you.

↘ The young demon hunter has an excellent sense of smell, so he immediately sensed the salty taste of tears wafting in your little house. He immediately dropped the katana, the basket full of fresh strawberries and mint, and the blanket he had bought especially for you, which you had been dreaming about for a long time. Within seconds he was in your bedroom and immediately turned his gaze to the bed where you were curled up sniffling.

↘ It took him several long minutes to calm you down and talk about how you were treated today by three members of the Corps.

↘ Until you fell asleep, Tanjirou was calm and composed. Until you closed your eyes, he kept stroking your head and telling you about the nice things you’d do together whenever you got more than a couple of hours off.

↘ However, as soon as you fell asleep, Tanjirou got up and left the house – no one had the right to hurt you and the young man was going to make the three people you mentioned aware of it.

— ZENITSU

↘ You and Zenitsu look alike! You are both walking balls of happiness, as long as there are no demons and scary people around. You love to joke with each other, you are always full of ideas and you love spending time together. Since you became close and became a couple, Tanjirou has to guard not two, but three people (and Nezuko, but she is really good and loves her wooden box).

↘ Usually when you’re walking downtown and talking, a lot of people pay attention to you - they usually don’t have a problem with your laugh and even consider you two really cute teenagers in love, however today a little incident happened.

↘ You walked hand in hand along the main street where huge tables with various delicacies and crafts were spread out. You wouldn’t be you if you didn’t buy a little snack for the two of you, and in the process made a joke about something that didn’t even make sense at the moment. Your silly joke, however, didn’t sit well with the man at the stall next door, who just muttered something unintelligible under his breath and then glanced at you.

↘ “Just shut up, you’re scaring my clients away.”

↘ “I... I’m sorry?”

↘ “What did you say?” Before you registered exactly what the man said in your direction, Zenitsu immediately hid you behind his body and measured the man in his forties with his eyes. The teenager grabbed the katana, but didn’t take it out. This made it clear to the stranger that there was no point in messing with you, much less the golden haired boy.

MHA X KNY AU!

I FINALLY DECIDED ON A NAME FOR THIS AU!

SO THE NAME I DECIDED TO CALL THIS AU WILL BE SOUL BREATHING!

Why?

Well, I was thinking about the end; the "Final Battle."

I knew that from the beginning that Izuku would be OP in this AU with multiple breathing styles in his name, however, this would be the breathing styles that his soul already knew.

Quick Recap:

Izuku is the reincarnation of not one, not two but six people of Kimetsu no Yaiba. Those people being the honorary Kamaboko Squad.

Which leads Izuku to never fully understanding who he really is, sometimes he thinks he's Kanao, other times he thinks he's Zenitsu, Inosuke, etc.

Why is this AU called "Soul Breathing?"

Well, Soul Breathing is the personal creation of Midoriya Izuku. The breathing style interprets the soul of someone, in this case, Izuku's soul is being preformed via his personal creation.

It also fits Izuku's unique biology because I mentioned before Izuku has this thing called "Heightened Senses," his senses of sight, touch, taste, hearing, smell, and intuition are by far compared to having a quirk.

I'm thinking if I should add Inosuke's flexibility in this case but I like to head cannon Izuku is already flexible so that solves something but I'll see. Also with Inosuke's flexibility is just multiplying Izuku's already flexible body by ten.

Anyway, if you don't already know the Kamaboko Squad have, at least, one sense that is higher than the rest. For example, Tanjiro for his sense of smell, Inosuke for his sense of touch, Zenitsu for hearing, Kanao for sight, Genya for taste, and I like to believe that if Nezuko wasn't a demon her intuition or "gut feeling" is superior than the rest.

The foundations of Soul Breathing are based by the breathing styles Izuku already knows: Thunder Breathing, Beast Breathing, Hinokami Kagura, Flower Breathing, and Water Breathing.

Genya has no breathing style but that doesn't make it any less fun than giving Izuku a gun and having him just bullseye everyone that had the misfortune of meeting a feral little brother.

Soul Breathing is a flexible and versatile breathing style that has no order on what it represents because it requires higher senses that are on par with a quirked individual. Or abnormal if you so will.

Users using this breathing style envision themselves with figments of their "soul" attacking the other side. Whether that be if they are reincarnation or not.

Midoriya Izuku is the only one being able to use this style due to his unique biology (and desperate attempted to behead the demon progenitor after realizing you can add to the old with something new.)

If anyone wants to learn this breathing style Izuku would be the only one who can teach this. Though some of it would be mellow out because of Izuku's unique biology and it's requirement of higher senses.

I'm not even sure how I explained this, hopefully it made sense(?) but I FINALLY HAVE A NAME FOR THIS AU!!!! WOOOOO!

So I recently read The Wasp's Nest by @demonslayedher, and as usual, began obsessing. I've been following the author here under my main blog for a while, and it's very easy to add onto or hyperfixate on their ideas. I genuinely can't find many blogs like theirs, but it's really cool; and I want to appreciate that.

Below the cut is going to be a simple collection of thoughts I had upon reading chapter one because,, oh my goodness; I have a lot?? For some reason? And I will probably never be able to use them myself.

Whether or not I make this a mini-series for every chapter or few chapters is. Up for debate. I have a lot going on in my personal life right now, so we'll see. This is just Mocha rambling about a cool fic instead of working on their own fics goodbye.

Please keep in mind I did not read chapter two.

• You probably can't see it through the ugly filters but I used the opposite color from Kobayashi-San's hairclip for Mita's eyes. Vice versa for Kobayashi-San's eyes too.

• I know it looks more like green flame but I was actually trying to use water lilies as the motif for Kobayashi-San's eyes! :) I couldn't think of anything cool for Mita's,, so I made it the same flower shape as Koyuki-San's in vain efforts of referencing it to those round-winged butterflies people make? ,,,

• I can't really use butterfly symbolism for the clips. I also improvised on the colors since I really deadass did not know what colors to use. 💀 I didn't use light blue for the border of Kobayashi-San's because they reminded me of the flowers on Makomo's mask,, and I had a Hashira au where she had those colors on her own hairclip,,, I don't mind changing it if it helps the accuracy of the fic! >:)

• Speaking of hair clips,, you gave me a really good headcanon idea for Kanae rereading one of your older posts, but I will probably post it on it's own as a separate post.

• I'm automatically taking everything Mita says with a grain of salt?? Like she seems nice, just. She runs her mouth too much. Is it to cope? Hmm. It'd be interesting to see if Ichijo-Senpai had a larger impact on everyone than we're made aware. Like. Is it really so black and white that Kanao began smiling because of Kanae and Shinobu? Maybe she's just so used to seeing people die because of those other students that she really doesn't think the people she made it past final selection with won't make much of a difference. (I'm salty they were the only five because of plot armor, but that's a story for another day.)

• Mainly because of my personal unrelated headcanons, but I really don't think of Ichijo-Sempai as mean? But if she is,, I can see her contributing to Mita's general moodiness. Bad influences amirite. But also the possibility of her being generally nice and having her parallel one if not both of Mita and Kobayashi-San as we read along makes me weak in the knees.

• I couldn't decide if I liked freckles or facial acne for Mita better, so I gave her both and gave her that emo pale skin. Assholes don't get to have pretty faces I don't make the rules 🙄 (/hj).

• Shinobu, because of your content of her and how she acted in the fic gives me vibes of a practical woman who doesn't care for detailed or pretty looking things. Or believes in doing things simply because you like them. Which makes that scene of her eating with Giyuu even funnier. Like. "You're smiling at your food? D i s g u s t i n g." (/j).

• I'm also. Very sorry. Like VERY SORRY. BECAUSE FOR THE LIFE OF ME I CAN'T DRAW BLACK HAIR IT'S JUST NOT POSSIBLE FOR ME... Ya start with a color you think is close enough to black without being back. Then you add colored accents, put in shading. The lighting. And then, only when it's too late, you realize it. You've given them completely different hair colors. I swear I'm colorblind. (/sarc).

• I was also just too lazy to make the mouths. So they're pitch black and ugly. You're welcome :')

Here's the icons without filters! I originally wanted to make them edited with like gif thingy backgrounds?? BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW,, and I'm not waiting until chapter ten or worse is posted while I'm trying to figure this stuff out.

Rambling about Kimetsu no Yaiba surnames.

So here I am, trying to study, starting with legit topics, digging deeper, I stumble upon this part of an article about the geomancy origins of the very influential "Kimon" (demon gate) when taken into consideration in architecture and ancient city planning, mentioning how disease and disaster was thought to enter the home via the hearth, gate, water well, and toilet and such, so these parts of the home required some deification to counter-act the evil, but it's written LIKE THIS:

Kamado. KAMADO TANJIRO.

And next thing you I'm back down a fandom theory rabbit hole. Nothing new, I already know the distinct rarity (but real world use) of this surname, as well as the fact that there are a couple Shinto shrines with this relatively rare writing of "hearth" in the name. But still, it makes me appreciate all over again all the very subtle use of lore throughout this manga, a huge reason I'm so obsessed with it.

So while I'm here, I learned this fun tidbit from an article that asked old people with rare surnames how they feel about them being suddenly very prominent (one old Ms. Kamado tried to start watching it but fell asleep), and I learned about the name 栗花落, notoriously difficult to read as "Tsuyuri". Basically, back in the Nara period (well before Muzan would had turned into a demon in Heian times), a dude was romancing a princess with poetry and made a reference to falling chestnut flowers at the start of the rainy season ("tsuyu") and the emperor was like "That's a cool idea, I'm going to grant that as a surname." (Actually, a lot of surnames get their start from emperors granting them.)

Now, we know Kanao chose this name for herself based on choices the girls set before her, including "Kochou" and "Kanzaki", already used by her new housemates. Poor Kanao probably couldn't read and didn't have any knowledge base to properly appreciate such a poetic name, which I'm guessing was a choice Kanae contributed (Shinobu didn't seem to have put as much thought into the choices for first names and probably didn't think much about surnames either, and Aoi was really pushing for her own last name to be chosen). Kanao might have heard explanations, or she might had just thought the kanji looked pretty.

But, what's interesting to me (and reading way too deeply into it) is that Kanao joined them on May 19. While we typically picture "tsuyu", the rainy season, as spanning June/early July-ish, the start of the season is tied to late May, so even in modern-day formal seasonal references in Japanese written correspondence (yes, formal Japanese is a fussy like this), appropriate references in May include a lot of ways of saying "we're heading into the rainy season, so please take care." Furthermore, the scenes we get of the Butterfly Mansion garden (in both the snime and the manga) include prominent hydrangea, a plant that screams "rainy season."

This isn't important whatsoever, but heeeey, it's fun coincidences.

A few other little tidbits and lots of conjecture:

--Tomioka and Agatsuma may also be names with ancient origins handed down from an emperor or two. Tomioka, written in a couple different ways and pretty uncommon (but not super rare) today, miiiiiight imply Giyuu was of relatively comfortable origins, perhaps with ties to the (defunct) warrior class based on his parents' choice of name for him (even toward the end of the samurai era only a couple generations or so before Giyuu was born, there were volunteer samurai squads named "Giyuu-tai" (righteousness/bravery corp). Further evidence of this is that even after their parents died of illness, it doesn't seem the children Tsutako and Giyuu were left particularly hurting for funds. In the "my wife" Agatsuma case, this is also pretty uncommon and I've only come across it pronounced Adzuma/Azuma. Since Zenitsu was abandoned without a name, we can't assume he picked up a rather higher-class sounding name from them. Either some caretaker he had later on chose it for him (possibly even as late a Kuwajima-shihan), or Zenitsu chose it himself (and this totally seems like a name in line with his tastes).

--Kanroji is the name of a temple; there is a pattern of higher class and noble families having surnames shared with temples (often due to ancient financial ties with said temples). There are, in fact, many existing Kanroji temples, and one of them in Wakayama even installed a temporary decorative "Love Pillar" and some subtle cat references and specisl promotions of the temple's preexisting good luck in match-making. Even the train stop nearby changed the sign to a pink and green fade. And yes, I am super disappointed that I had not heard of all this until the temporary promotion was over.

--Murata and all the Demon Slayer Corp extras (swordsmen and Kakushi, not swordsmiths who have metalworking pun-filled names) have extremely commonplace names.

some headcanons for our muses featuring @waterlord !

below , i’ve written up truck load more random headcanons on kiri’s relationship with shinobu kocho , kanae kocho , the girls of the butterfly estate & a new addition — mitsuri kanroji !!

𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐛𝐮 𝐤𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐨

initially , shinobu is a bit troubled by kiri . before kanae’s passing , her attitude is a lot like aoi — blunt , impatient & almost intolerant of many things . things that include clinginess . she’d be a bit rough on him at times , wanting him to be less dependent on people . this reminds shinobu of her ‘ old self ( which unbeknownst to her — is still present ) ‘ & how she was before her parents died . believing this way of life isn’t healthy , she tries to teach kiri how to be independent . funnily enough , she ends up latching on to him like an older sister or even a mother .

caring for his hair is something she does to relax . sometimes she’ll make a silly excuse like ‘ your hair pin is falling out again — geez ‘ just so she can play with his hair . when his hair grows longer , oooh man she loves it ! she loves to braid it in various styles since the colour of his hair fascinates her . the colour is rare & eye catching . even the slayers that come by the estate take notice ! if someone say’s something rude about it , shinobu will have a few words with them . a few sailor - esque words with them .

on that note , shinobu doesn’t like swearing around the young ones or her sister . she ESPECIALLY makes sure that kiri won’t hear her . aoi has caught her before & has a small habit of doing this too , but only when things really bother her - lol .

the earrings kiri made for her she cherishes deeply . she’d love to wear them all the time , but worries that they may break . instead , she wears them on casual days around town or on special occasions . they make a wonderful addition to her purple kimono . she barely notices the ‘ flaws ‘ on them & instead believes it gives them character . each imperfect line shows the effort that was put into gift , something that is priceless .

checking out the insects in the forest around the estate is another pass time of hers & she takes everyone along with her , typically in small groups ( unless her sister is around , then everybody comes along ) on rotation , but kiri is always invited on the trips . catching butterflies & releasing them is what they typically do but they tend to do other activities , such as ; have picnics , bird watching & other things in the forest . in the summer nights they catch fireflies !!

as the years go on & kiri begins to have strange dreams & tendencies , shinobu begins focusing on making a tea to help calm his nerves . when she finds him standing out in the rain , looking lost , she’ll scold him in anger as to mask the concern that veers on the edge of sadness . she doesn’t know how to deal with his episodes when he’s realizing his true identity but she’s always looking out for him & making sure her stresses isn’t known . she’s a worry - wort by nature after all .

shinobu & kanae tend to have discussions about him not aging . already having seen herself in him , she wonders if he’s destined to be tiny & frail like herself , which does make her sad . trying to make sure this doesn’t happen , she feeds him a lot more foods & special meals catered for him . but with this being something she can’t fix she eventually gives up . she accepts that they are probably a lot more a like than she knows ( or so she thinks ) .

i noticed that shinobu has 3 goldfish in her office . why not add a lil something to where they come from ? on new years eve , everyone goes out to watch the fireworks at the festival nearest to the estate ! during one of the new year festival’s they were attending , shinobu notices a goldfish game . she encourages kiri to play it with her & the two manage to catch the 3 fishies !! i was thinking that the two of em can come up with their names ?

after kanae’s passing shinobu almost completely shuts down . while still going to missions & doing things around the estate — she’s very reminiscent of a brainless zombie , just kinda moving on autopilot . there are moments where she snaps back , but it’s usually in the form of a panicked state . especially when the other tsugoku start to die . she gets even more protective of kiri at this point & makes sure aoi is looking out for him when she’s away .

as things die down a bit & shinobu starts to put her carefree mask on . since kiri is the closest to her , he’d probably notice shinobu taking a strange medicine & sitting in her medical office with an IV attached to her arm . she tries to keep this a secret from him , which may prove to be hard , but if she were to be confronted she’d say it’s simply a new medicine she’s trying out . she doesn’t want to worry him so she tries to keep her intentions a secret .

𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐞 𝐤𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐨

i can see the two of them spending a lot of time in the garden together . kanae loves to fill the estate with various plants & usually brings new potted flowers home whenever she passes through a town . one day in particular , she brought back a sunflower . possibly after noticing that he likes them , she decides to buy more & plant them around the estate with kiri . the sunflowers they planted bring many bumble bees & butterflies to the estate . their efforts is what really gives their mansion it’s name .  shinobu appreciates the flowers that kanae & kiri planted around the estate . the flowers also brighten the place up & make everything look a lot happier !

when approached about making the butterfly earrings , kanae gushes at the idea ! she notices how close to shinobu he is & the idea makes her all giddy . whenever they are working on them together , she tries to make sure shinobu isn’t around whenever they work on em . at times she has to go out to distract her from seeing them by making silly excuses .

kanae loves to tell the story of the first flower breathe user & how the technique was developed . it’s a funny little thing that she does at least twice a year ! she often tells her other tsuguko or anyone who’s around when spring really starts to pick up — which is usually when she spends the most time arguably .

after learning that sanemi likes ohagi kanae decides to make them for him as treats . of course she makes them for her family at the butterfly estate & she usually gets aoi & kiri to help out . kanae has a bit of a sweet tooth & she loves to snack on homemade treats .

𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐭𝐬𝐮𝐲𝐮𝐫𝐢 , 𝐚𝐨𝐢 𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐤𝐢 & 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐬

while quiet , kanao really appreciates spending time with kiri . she wouldn’t talk too much unless asked a direct question but she’s totally fine with sitting in silence . her coin is typically used for making big decisions , but she doesn’t use it all the time . responding to him is not much of an issue but silence & a smile is her typical response to most things he says .

when kanao receives the charm , there’s a lost expression on her face as she stares at it . she’s not lost but she doesn’t know how to react . there’s an immense amount of joy that she feels but she isn’t sure if it’s appropriate to express it , so she stares at it for a long time . the charm is always kept with her . it’s kept in her skirt pocket while she’s around the house , when she trains & out on missions . she always makes sure that it doesn’t get dirty . kanao is really good at evading attacks from demons but she always makes sure not to suffer an attack that could damage it — even if it may cost her taking a hit herself . ‘ it’s a precious gift given to me from kiri — i must treasure it at all costs ... it’s the only way i can show that i care ‘ is her thoughts about the charm . to her , it’s a symbol of their bond .

aoi keeps her talisman under her pillow . she’s always wanted a younger sister & kiri is the closest thing to that . just like she did for tsuyuri , aoi tries to convince kiri to convince him to take on her last name , lol !

the three youngster all look up to kiri & think he’s amazing . they would always go to him to read them a story before bed or something , lol .

mitsuri comes by the butterfly estate every now & again to say hi to shinobu & enjoys aoi’s cooking . she notices kiri right off the bat & greets him by waving her arms in the air vigorously . she’s excited to see him because of his hair !! she’s happy to see someone with an interesting hair colour & she wants to touch it & give him a hug !

she thinks he’s absolutely adorable & like shinobu , she likes braiding his hair once it grows longer ! she often styles his hair in three braids , like her own , so they can be twinsies !!

mitsuri invites shinobu & kiri over to her house to try her cooking . she specializes in western dishes & she loves to treat people to her meals ! while she cooks , she invites kiri to watch & maybe he picks up some recipes to try making with aoi . mitsuri also sends them home with honey whenever they visit ( she has a bee hive ) !!

↘ Minato was a boy full of energy and smile during his school days. You and your husband were sitting on the terrace of your small house, watching Naruto and Hinata approach a white building with a dark roof. There was a book in your hand and a cup of steaming green tea on the table next to you. Minato at that time was sitting directly in front of you; his eyes were closed. Ten minutes ago, he was talking to you about plans for the coming months, and after a while he simply fell asleep, tired of the constant duties of the Hokage.

You frowned as you watched the young couple. Your son had a huge, almost painful smile on his face, while your daughter-in-law had flushed cheeks. She and Naruto had a really peaceful and supportive marriage, though from time to time they would ask you for advice on a successful relationship.

But something was bothering you, and it was a strange feeling in your stomach. Your intuition was never wrong; you just felt something was... That something has changed. So you quickly woke up your husband, although you really didn’t want to, and then whispered a simple sentence in his direction.

“Minato, I think I’m going to be a grandmother.” You whispered, hiding your excitement. Your husband yawned.

“How…” He bit his lip. “Oh.”

After a short while, a young adult couple entered your house; for the first time you saw your son dressed that well. Before you could offer something to drink and eat, your son ran to his father and lifted him high.

“I will be a grandfather and you will be parents!” He screamed and you laughed out loud. “I mean, I’ll be dad and you’ll be grandmothers!”

“Naruto-kun...” Hinata started, almost fainting in embarrassment.

“I mean, mom. You will be grandma and you, dad, will be grandpa!” He said it right this time, and you nodded, still amused. Your sense of intuition, however, was not mistaken. You immediately hugged your beloved daughter and then your son, congratulating them as sincerely as you could.

One glistening tear welled up in your eye because these two were so much like you and your husband; just as in love and as happy as you and your beloved. You were so happy for them and for your own happiness. You started crying into Minato’s arms and he stroked your hair. Minute later, he offered tea to your lovely guests.
