one of the silliest plot points in ii is when marshmallow buys a time machine from walmart. walmart, which just. exists in this universe. not even an offbrand walmart. literally just walmart, presumably identical to the one in our own universe, except that they sell time machines. at walmart. walmart.

also time machines exist, and apparently this doesn't have terrible consequences for the world at large, especially when your average cup of joe could just stroll into walmart and buy one at any time.

who even invented the time machine? why can you buy one at walmart, as opposed to it being a military secret, or locked up somewhere? how come test tube makes one of her own instead of buying one? just to prove that she can? also what about the entire plot of s2ep12? that's a "hole ripped in the depths of time itself," right? how come that hasn't happened before?

or has it? has the world of inanimate insanity gone through multiple timeline changes, all from different people, who got it all from walmart? what if walmart did this on purpose? what if they had a monopoly on time machines? is this why they exist, in ii's world, when other companies do not? maybe they control the timeline. maybe inanimate insanity just lives in it.

one of my biggest criticisms with the way the Talimance is portrayed is that the game makes no explicit indication that Shepard....does anything or make any "real" sacrifices when it comes to having sex with a quarian. Tali juices herself up with every herb, ointment, injection, cybernetic installation and medication in the galaxy to try to avoid literally dying and Shepard is out here like a germ goblin not even showering beforehand.

Hey I just had an idea about vampires

So a lot of vampire media depicts them as not having any blood of their own but what if hey hear me out instead of vampires just not having blood because that’s just a side effect of turning into one what if most vampires drink their own blood most of the time because vampire munchies and what if it was like a weird status symbol among vampires to still have your blood and only vampires who had a very organized and planned turning wouldn’t end up drinking their own blood

CONSIDER: human skin is warm-tone at least most of the time and it’s like that because our blood and muscles are red, vampires are depicted as extremely pale or having unnaturally desaturated skin this being a side effect of you know, not having blood? But if a vampire DID have blood they’d look pretty normal and blend in with humans a lot better

ALSO CONSIDER: vampires filling themselves with embalming fluid for cosmetic and blending in purposes
