Amity University Gurugram primarily conducts its student-friendly admission process online. Prospective students can apply through the official university website by filling out the application form and uploading necessary documents.

Application Process

Candidates must register online through the university’s official admission portal.

An application fee of INR 1,100 is applicable per program.

Students can apply for more than one program by submitting separate applications and paying the corresponding fee.

Depending on the program, we either shortlist students for a personal interview or an entrance exam after their submission.

Selection Criteria

Undergraduate Programs Admission to most UG programs is based on merit from the last qualifying examination. However, some programs require entrance exam scores:

B.Tech: JEE Main or AMCAT scores may be considered.

B.Arch: Requires valid NATA scores.

The B.Des program may require applicants to take the Amity Design Test and submit a portfolio assessment.

Law Programs: Admission is based on 12th-grade marks, followed by an interview; CLAT scores can also be considered.

Postgraduate Programs PG admissions are typically based on the marks obtained in the qualifying degree, followed by an interview. For MBA programs, national-level entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, or ATMA are accepted.

Ph.D. Programs Candidates must have a postgraduate degree with at least 55% aggregate marks. Admission is based on the Amity Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) and a personal interview. Exemption from PET is given to candidates with valid GATE, UGC NET, or equivalent scores.
