ULTRAFOXX are a four-piece band from the UK (synths/keys, guitar, drums, vocals) who are a tribute to the music of ULTRAVOX and JOHN FOXX. They are the only such tribute act to perform songs from both the MIDGE URE and JOHN FOXX eras of the band. As well as performing songs from Ultravox, they also perform songs from the solo career of John Foxx. Tracks often performed include ; Vienna, Dancing with Tears, Underpass, Hymn, Burning car, to name just a few. They constantly rotate their sets, ensuring first time attendees and regular/return attendees are always fully entertained, hearing songs they expect to hear, alongside songs they are surprised but delighted to hear

Hoy es sábado noche, junto al viernes los días lógicamente celebrados para descargar tensiones (o descansarlas) en todos los sentidos. 

En teoría este es otro sábado a la noche, más tenso y oscuro, pero nada mortecino a pesar de su título, “Saturday Night At The City Of the Dead”. No hagan caso, porque esto es como lo del “muerto vivo” de Peret. Foxx hasta sopla la armónica, aunque no sea Lee Brilleaux o Lew Lewis. 

Los por entonces “ultramodernos” de Ultravox! (o sea, Ultrafoxx!, los primeros) aquí simplemente se despachan ese peaso de rhythm and blues como una catedral vía “Subterranean Homesick Blues” de Bob Dylan. Sí, el mismo que fusila discursos del Nobel de internet. 

Eso es todo. Como David Bowie con los Yardbirds en “The Jean Genie”, pero en 1977, año santo.
