“well, this is my current place”, kaveh led you inside the home alhaitham kindly let him stay for a cheap rent, considering the architect had some troubles with his finances at the time. “it’s nothing really special, and my roommate isn’t home, so don’t feel shy at all. it’s just us.” 

for some reason, that kind of made everything more interesting. looking around the house, you noticed some art hanging on the walls, looking at your boyfriend who just shrugged. “hey, he was living in a completely dull and decoration-free house. i needed to step in”, he laughed, to which you could only giggle as you shook your head. the place was absolutely decorated in kaveh’s style – and knowing stoic alhaitham, you could only assume the scribe and acting grand sage was not impressed. 

“so, what do you think of doing tonight? i don’t think alhaitham will be able to wrap up his work quickly – i saw the piles of paperwork he has to finish”, kaveh chuckled, “so we are completely alone for at least a couple of hours.”

being alone with kaveh has been a rare occasion so far, being fairly new into your relationship and only dating for a couple of weeks. so, him innocently saying you’ll be alone for a while just made you happy because you had been thinking of initiating something for quite some time. 

the moment you sat on his lap on the couch and had your legs wrapped around his waist, he knew that you were plotting something. “hey, hey. you think you’re ready for this?”, he asked, making sure you don’t rush into something you’re still unsure of. 

“mhm, i think so. it just feels right”, you mumbled as you leaned down to kiss him softly, kaveh was absolutely into it immediately. he was deepening the kiss, arm around your shoulder as he just pulled you closer to himself. 

“if it does, then i’m glad”, he chuckled as he let go of the kiss for a moment to catch his breath. “i love you.” 

his voice was soft, a big smile on his lips before he leaned back forward and kissed you again, this time a little bit more intense from the start, quickly getting obsessed with the feeling and taste of having your lips on his. 

kissing you had always been one of the things he loved doing the most, being close to you, showering you in his love and affection for you. and now that you two were alone for the first time in a while, he sure as hell was going to take advantage of that. 

that was until alhaitham decided to come back home early, having kaveh groan in annoyance and you – quite embarrassed – sitting next to kaveh on the couch, burying your head against his neck. 

“hello to you, too”, alhaitham chuckled, placing a pile of papers on his desk. “i thought it would be better to work from home tonight. i think that was a great idea.” 

“definitely”, kaveh rolled his eyes, getting up before he pulled you up, too. “let’s head to my room, yeah?” you nodded as a reply, not trusting your voice before you waved at alhaitham, who was still smugly smirking at kaveh, successfully having pissed the architect off, before you were pulled inside the room by an impatient kaveh. 

i need to admit, i'm not necessarily satisfied with this but i just couldn't get myself to write smut for this, it just didn't feel fitting for some reason, i hope that's okay nonnie!

omg 🥺🥺 I took a while to answer this because I couldn't think of an answer that wasn't (incoherent screaming).

I really like drawing pretty people and pretty men, and Tim is so special because he also brings a youthfulness to it, like his cheeks are soft and still a bit baby fat despite his Self Care Choices I think fljskahdjklsahd (if I were to age him up, I'd definitely keep the kind of looks that have people carding him to buy alcohol) 🙈

I keep thinking of the balance of drawing a pretty androgynous guy without relying on over-feminization, and I don't know! I think as a character Timmy should be confident in how he presents himself and therefore does absolutely deranged stuff with his fashion choices LMFAO like his Sticking Up Hair from old comics with the Gotham giants magenta shirts LMFAO I haven't drawn that, but it lives in my head rent free, he has so much range. OR how in GK he tucks his pants into his socks oh my god I want to shove him into a locker????

Tim doesn't know how cute he is even when he hasn't washed his sweater for 2 weeks fr... But definitely, I feel like I've drawn him when he's "produced" himself for the public (taking notes for future drawings)

Another super nice thing about getting into comics is that legitimately I can do whatever I want with Tim's design? If you look at my first drawings on this account, definitely the way I have been settling on drawing Tim has changed, and I keep thinking of ways to live my best life while also having Tim look like himself, and it's still a bit of a learning curve heheh I think the goal would be having people recognize him from a lineup of his siblings (which I have to get to btw, I really want to draw the Robins but crash into the wall of "I don't draw handsome people as well as I do pretty people" fjsahdjklsad)... which comics don't do btw, it's embarrassing how many times I've confused Tim and Dick? They should color code them like the power rangers jfc

I'm also glad (laying on the floor crying) to learn more anatomy even though I never actually show it lmfao I still draw it like some clown before drawing clothes over it, but drawing superheroes is SUCH a chance to learn how to draw!

All this to say, I draw ultimately to make myself happy, and I'm lucky enough that with a couple days of resting the eyes, I can look at my own drawings like someone else made them LOL it also makes me really happy other likeminded people can enjoy the drawings I make (while I also enjoy the fanworks they make; I love ur writing!) I'll keep doing my best to keep learning how to draw so we can have more things to enjoy together! 😤

This spot gets awarded tooooo.... a nightcore remix of Wake me up when September ends, uploaded by Syrex (unfortunately I cant seem to find the original video I usually listen to, the cover art on this is sliiiiightly too graphic for my liking (dw its not explicit or anything) but the original was perfect!)

This was one of my first nightcore songs, and something about it just felt so… magical 🌈 and 🌟mystical🌟… like a sort of window into another dimension? I still come back to it as my comfort song, kind of like a sonical blorbo…. A blorbo song? A slorbo? Yeeeaaah!

In a similar position but possibly not to the same extent are other nightcore remix songs like Drivers License (also uploaded by Syrex) and Fly me to the moon(also Syrex) and some others

Now I do indeed enjoy a spot of classical music (mainly rather popular songs though) and what else do I say than frikin Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1.

Oooh speaking of, Un Sospiro by Franz Liszt, that is by far one of my favourite piano pieces… maybe close to Piano Conerto no 1 in terms of favouriteness? Maybeeee?

I do also love some pop and dancey and songs. I think One Last Time by Ariana Grande definitely sticks on this list and is one of my all time favourites. The music video is amazing too! There also others like Solo Dance by Martin Jensen, Style by Taylor Swift (oooh another of my favourite artists btw) Don’t lose my number by Phil Collins and Heaven (DJ Sammy and Yanou)

I (mostly) love my YouTube recommendations, and most of the time its cute (and very VERY impressive) animatics galore, and some of the music I’ve heard on them just sticks with me and lives rent free in my head. The one on this list has to be Sincerely, Me (from this animatic). Now I don’t know much about the song out of the context of this animatic, however rumour has it that it is rather twisted (again, I have actually no idea where it’s from, I never followed it up) but it’s so insanely catchy I find myself head-playing it on repeat and listen to it to scratch that very specific itch… the animation is absolutely 🌟amazing🌟 too in that video, and I keep coming back! Also I’d like to show you Think U Know by Ikson, found in this animatic by none other than cudlil :P I love her channel, and all the music she uses!

Man Mafia AU….haven’t thought about that in a LONG time! Not much has changed from what y’all already know?? Tho I could tell u about Salem n her whole deal…

This is sorta a mix of a modern world and still Remnant. There’s semblances and Aura and Huntsmen, but Ozpin and Salem are no longer immortals. Only in legacy and family name. Their constant war is now a feud between families thats grown out of control, and entirely fueled in spite.

Salem and Ozpin were originally meant to marry. After Ozpin became head of the family, the two negotiated for a bit of a peace between their families and such. Mostly for business purposes, but young love and all that. It happens so fast for two sheltered people.

Salem was possessive as shit, and Ozpin at first saw no problem in it. Is it so wrong to feel special? But he moved on quick when he got Qrow’s loyalty. It was like whiplash, he didn’t want Salem, he wanted Qrow. He wanted him to stay and remain loyal. He still is special, but it’s so much more exciting then Salem’s grumpy energy.

He was cheerful when he broke it off with her, excitedly exclaiming he found a new calling and their relationship didn’t fit into it!

Salem is bitter, and Ozpin is detached. He doesn’t much care for emotions that aren’t his own or from the select few he cares about.

That’s the deal with Ozpin at the end of the day. In this universe, he’s selfish and greedy. He cares about himself and everyone else is secondary.

Salem took this as a slight against her person, as if Ozpin was mocking her for not being good enough.

Meanwhile Ozpin doesn’t even view her as more then gum on his shoe. Something to be thrown away when he finds out it’s there and how annoying it’s been.

He doesn’t care :) he’s got so much money, so many hands in metaphorical cookie jars, that he doesn’t NEED to care to get what he wants so why should he?

Comic recommendations?

Im looking for something with a more unique art style. Ur stuff is cool did you know anyone else?

Oh man, firstly, thanks! <3 I only just nailed it down this year and I'm loving it.

Secondly, in my short time in the webcomics scene, I've found a few cool comics here and there. I have some suggestions, but I'm not sure what you might mean by unique-so I went ahead and nabbed a few comics that stood out to me, or are on my reading list and are made in a different medium/different technique.

Starting with some Hiveworks under the cut, then going more niche/indie as the list goes on, as well as a sites where you can find some stuff you may like!

The Golden Boar is a comic I adore. The art has a pastel look to it that I really dig, and I LOVE the worldbuilding so far. I enjoy stories with non-humans as a basis for the world, so I was already sold by the cute horned people that live in the moonlit forest aspect-but I'm also a BIG fan of summoners and how they work in relation to the magic system of the world (hence Tovera's focus on summoners and people adjacent to non human beings), and the Golden Boar tackles that head on while also looking gorgeous and unique. It is ongoing right now.

Stand Still, Stand Silent is just eye-wateringly beautiful. I actually haven't started reading it BUT it's on my list. It goes into Norse mythology and the magic of language, which is my jam-HOWEVER, it's worth mentioning that if you have religious trauma, I would hold back from checking out the artist's newer work. She converted to Christianity a few years back (great! no problem!) but some of the phrasing she uses to describe her past work suggests a shift into a conservative kinda mindset. Of course, feel free to make your own conclusions about the creator, but I personally am choosing to binge this comic and ignore anything new she makes. It's been finished for a while now.

Saint for Rent has a gorgeous art style, and I've also been meaning to read it-but alas, my backlog is horrid, so I've laid off of it, PLUS it's on hiatus, which I KNOW will drive me crazy. You might dig it though, since it definitely stands out among its peers.

Witchy is a gorgeous comic with a magic system based on the historic link between witches and hair! I actually read all of it and it's a GREAT read, though the creator has expressed dissatisfaction with the magic system/hair system. UNFORTUNATELY it's on hiatus-BUT, at least 6 complete chapters are up to read, and the cliffhanger isn't too painful.

I'm getting a little woozy as I type this, so I'll leave it here, BUT if you wanna find more cool, unique comics, I suggest ComicAdNetwork and ComicFury. You can go through the genres and see if you can find something you like/that looks interesting! I hope this helped you find some new stuff to read!
