This is how I would have done it if they had given me Veronica Mars season 3 (I'm ignoring everything else). College? Nope. Veronica doesn't get to go to college. Like the kid a couple of episodes back foreshadowed, sometimes things don't go well to good people. The only reason why V went to college was 1. Because she's the main character, 2. Because they needed a new contained environment and Neptune was too big and 3. Because they still needed to market this to High Schoolers and throwing V into the world right away might alienate the audience. They also needed the drama ofc. Still no, sorry, V. doesn't go to college. She doesn't get to fulfill her potential in that way, which a lot of people would probably relate more to nowadays but alas. Then I'd ALSO make Logan's dad (spoilers) survive. Duncan never sends Clarence after him, Duncan doesn't even know he got out of prison yet, he's too busy hiding with baby Lily. So Logan is cut off, which would do wonders for his character. He's so cut off, actually, that he loses everything AND he has to go live with who? Veronica and her dad, the only people who still talk to him now that he's poor (apart from his sister, but she can't be seen with him though she still cares in her way, and maybe Dick because he's depressed, but that doesn't last). Logan then has to start working to V's dad, even though he's hot headed, and super protective of Veronica. They go and reluctantly work on cases together, which creates a lot of strife, but he eventually starts respecting that she is tough, while she starts respecting that he is sometimes right about her being 5 foot 2 and literally only carrying a taser. Because he is now living with V and her dad, he starts having a little bit of a taste of what family is really like, like we saw in that episode he had dinner with them, but more in depth. Keith is not super warm towards him at first, but he cares, and he starts caring more and more, (soap opera style cause let's get real, this is VM) when he notices that Logan really is hardcore abt Veronica. Then maybe he dies cause let's get real again this is VM. V and L now have to figure it out on their own, amidst heavy grief. Logan has a second job for a while, maybe in the industry serving coffee, which he hates, but they invite Weevil to work for V and actually work, not like that weird stint in season 3, and he begins slowly. Wallace, who is in Hearst with Mac, lets everyone know about Veronica so she grows her reputation like that again. Now that they are completely vulnerable, Logan's dad (remember him) comes back with a vengeance after them, hellbent on not killing Veronica yet, but making her suffer even more. He makes her life a living Hell, he sends people to destroy her office, he makes sure his son doesn't have a job anymore, he openly talks about how she ruined her life, all that before Duncan actually finally sends Clarence to kill him because I can be very anti-climatic too. Logan shows up drunk at his funeral because bad habits die hard and gives an awesome eulogy about how horrible of a dad he was, how horrible the people who attended are, and how hypocritical everyone is because now that he is rich again everyone came to give condolences, but he doesn't care cause all he cares about is his girlfriend sitting on the front row, with his only actual friend who ends up being Weevil. They're loaded, though they're sad. They get married in a small ceremony so Logan can make sure that if he dies everything goes to her and she doesn't have to be destitute. He gets her last name, because he felt more part of her family than he ever did being an Echolls. Then they go out to find out who killed her dad and in good VM fashion, the show is cancelled before we find out what the fuck happened there. End scene.

Sharena- slightly underrated, but it seems more people are appreciating her as of late

Veronica- slightly overrated, she is a little interesting but her story fell flat after book 6

Fjorm- overrated, her main schtick is her tragedy and she’s just a generic white girl who’s in love with Kiran

Gunnthra-normally rated, would like to see more of her but there also wasn’t much to be honest

Laevatein-slightly underrated, she is quite interesting as a character content to stay in her sister’s shadow until she can’t any longer, and a lot of people tend to ignore her in favor of her older sister unfortunately

Loki-massively overrated, she is a generic sorceress trickster character with little depth which is filled up by gratuitous fanservice

Thorr- normally rated

Eir- slightly overrated, fans tend to give her character more credit than deserves, but she is one of the better freebies

Hel-underrated, even if she was wasted, her character was perfect for the story and that design is killer

Líf-very fucking overrated, he’s goth Alfonse. What a basic rehash of a character with an ungodly amount of screen time as it is

Thrasir-normally rated, but can be overrated in proximity to Líf. Although that’s just me hating the push IS gave to Vero and Alf being “couple-coded”🤮 Vero and Sharena are much better, as is Alf and Bruno

Ganglot- slightly underrated, but I can understand how the story ruined her. Still, the idea of her being faithful to Hel and being “taken in” by her can be an interesting idea, and of course killer design

Nótt-slightly underrated, she was underdeveloped but the idea of a strong woman actually being defined in more unique archetypes that are divorced from her build (being a romantic, a refined and dedicated princess, etc) makes her the better sister in my eyes

Eitri-MASSIVELY UNDERRATED, by far the best villain we ever had in terms of character and motivation. Yeah the child design is weird but her character more than makes up for it. A cunning woman with the goal of keeping Nidavellir powerful to honor the memory of the man she adored, but being blinded by her bigotry to non-dvergr which made her cause chaos because she couldn’t stand the idea of seeing a Nidavellir not in her image. A very complex villain that isn’t “pure” evil without being drenched in “woe is me” bullshit.

Țjazi-overrated, awesome design but a completely uninteresting and sometimes aggrevating personality

Ash-overrated, let’s be honest. Her main schtick is talking too much and that’s not an interesting quirk. It’s annoying if anything. Her design really doesn’t make up for it either. It’s so boring

Letizia-a bit underrated, but to be fair, she was poorly utilized the the narrative. An awesome design though

Embla-weird limbo of being both normally rated but slightly overrated on here (because tumblr has a boner for pale goth people regardless of personality). I like how she’s genuinely emaciated and not given an attractive body which is rare to see on female characters but her character was way too evil to make the pity aspect deserved

Thoughts on Fallout show...

It's good! I really liked the Moldaver twist, I liked that she was actually part of NCR. But girl just build your settlement on top of the old Shady Sands no one is stopping you LMAO. I soyjaked when I saw the NCR Veteran Ranger outfit you guys are SO COOLLLLLLLL even tho those people weren't the rangers.. sigh

The capitalism commentary... I mean I've played Disco Elysium. Hell even Fallout New Vegas. Lol. I'd say this is on The Menu tier of commentary. It's fine! I just find it to be regular! FNV offered interesting perspective on anarchy with Followers and come on dude, Hegelian dialectics waow.... Disco Elysium is fucking Disco Elysium. It certainly identified that monopoly in capitalism is bad as shown in Vault Tec, but I wish I could've seen an alternative ideology for a better world like FNV and DE did. Where's the hopeeee

I have mixed feelings on the whole Vault Tec stuff. Yeah commentary on amazon cool! But viewing it on the context of 1/2/NV... it's just too glaring to ignore. Fallout was all about post-apocalyptic settlement! It's why we remember Shady Sands, Junktown, The Hub, Vault City, New Reno, Broken Hills, Necropolis, Goodsprings, Primm, Novac, Freeside, arghhhh so much more... is Vault Tec gonna bomb literally every single one of them?????????? Perhaps it's because NCR is the biggest settlement but idk I'd say Vault City is doing great. Goodsprings was fine, it's small but people have homes and farms and happy there outside of the Powder Gangers problem. It just missed the core of Fallout and took the "war never changes" motto on face value. Society will rebuild itself! We're not just gonna stay in the empty desert wasteland, it's all gonna be rebuilt with new ideology and it's up to us to decide which is more content to our heart to stay and help...

And speaking of settlement.... man why are every settlement so Not Normal. People on 1/2/NV talks normally even if their homes are not in the best conditions. Every single non-Vault 33 people in this show acted like No Barks lol. The thing with Fallout is that people we've meet are normal people like us in the present, even the ghouls, it's just that they are trying to live in the post apocalyptic conditions. They don't become stereotypical western hillbillies lol

Anyway. God fucking dammit leave FNV alone. I just feel like this show doesn't have the vernacular that it thinks it possesses... It missed the whole appeal of the OG Fallout and thinks Fallout is all about post apocalyptic wacky destruction and madness n shit. Even if it has a commentary on pre-war capitalism it still missed what makes Fallout settlements so interesting. And since NV is all about those settlements... begging you to leave them alone. Do not fucking destroy them because you think the point of Fallout is that humanity is doomed. Make your own fucking settlements.

I promise I don't hate this show I was actually invested throughout of it. Really amazing props and set design. It's just a show that is really good in a vacuum, but when viewed in the context of OG Fallout it fell apart. I'd give it a 6-7/10

Vaughan: Sorry for dropping by so unexpectedly but Xavier said he really wanted me to join in on his birthday celebration.

Brayden: You're the young man that helped him when we went off on his own! Thank you for that, Xavier has his own mind but I'm happy you made it!

Blair: Thank you for caring for him when he jetted off without our permission. It's nice to have you here we always welcome our children's friends!

Well, damn. THAT game fucking SLAPS.

I was always pretty skeptical about a remake of Resident Evil 4 as soon as the rumors that it was in development first went around. I loved the remakes of RE2 and even RE3, but a remake of RE4 didn't seem necessary to me. It's still very accessible to just about anyone (along with Street Fighter II, it's basically been Capcom's Skyrim or GTA V for years haha) and has aged quite well too. When it was officially revealed, I thought it looked quality, but still wasn't really psyched for it and didn't really see the point.

I finally played it and was blown away. I didn't think it was possible to improve that much on the original RE4, but they did it. I'll always treasure OG RE4 but this has become the definitive version of the game for me. It changes just enough to feel fresh but not too much to where it ruins what made the original work. Writing is much, much better and the darker tone still works well with the action elements. Like the original did, this remake still blends horror and action/adventure perfectly!

I'm ready for whatever remake they release next. I'm very much up for a RE5 remake that fixes some stuff in that game that always bugged me, like the linearity and AI partner, but I really hope we get a remake of Code: Veronica. That was always my favorite and is pretty essential to the lore. Though it will definitely need updating for modern times (no matter what Fandom Menace assholes get butthurt over it), because the whole "villain cross dresses as his sister and is outright called a cross dressing freak" angle... yeah that's aged like milk. Even if it was a homage to Norman Bates, it's still pretty cringeworthy these days.

EDIT FROM THE FUTURE - Separate Ways was really good! A huge improvement over the OG SW (which was fun, but honestly just some missions cobbled together from base game assets for the PS2 release of RE4 to make up for the inferior graphics - and because the cutscenes were made for the PS2 version and never updated for any HD re-releases, they look horrible) that feels more like a proper B-campaign of sorts, and it's as fun as ever seeing how Ada's path snakes its way through the main story alongside Leon's. It was cool how they added in some of the things in the OG RE4 that the remake left out to give Ada something unique to do. Well worth the $10 and it makes a fantastic game even more satisfying. Some awesome story stuff to chew on too and I am so psyched for what they clearly have planned for RE5. It's so good having a certain villain back.

PHEWW ok this is like a truly unhinged au i wont lie. so basically a few months ago i got rlly into dcu robins and birdflash 😢😢😢 oh how i love bird flash. so 4 some reason i was like I need Wally to be in a Band STAT..!!! so i made him band members 😭😭😭😭

anyways their names in order of appearance are Ronnie (Veronica) and Dee-Dee, also Ronnie [ronnies whole bit is that she really loves fish and wears a fish tie a lot and also plays bass. like the song. but because bass. lol]

and here we have Noor, Dee-Dee and Atticus.. these 3 are poly and Atticus isnt in the band but he’s their biggest supporter. and the poly isnt a triangle btw Dee-Dee is dating both but Noor and Atticus arent dating theyre just like wow our gf is fucking weird. awesome. we are the luckiest ppl alive. high five

i didnt have much lore for them because idk dick grayson era lore that well. or any dcu lore for that matter. Dee-Dee is like maybe a martian ? everyone else is human idk

ive always imagined that the yj or jl or whichever part of it they’d be in during college doesnt know that Wally’s in the band. not in a bad way it just doesnt come up LOL

it was mostly an excuse to make playlists and dance in my room and daydream… i was calling them the tbirds in my head because Greasr ROTPL had just come out and i loooved New Cool. such a good song. idk what else to call them if not the tbirds
