this is an ambient IDM album made entirely with the first VSTi ever made, the Steinberg Neon from 1999. ALL sounds coming from neon, fx plugins used were valhalla supermassive and that native instruments choral plugin. tracks were sequenced with a yamaha rm1x with some generative pipelines from blokas midihub. tracks resampled to 10bit and then pushed the gain a bit. the sequences on the rm1x are very basic, the midihub is doing a lot work to spice them up a bit :)

There is a special fiery chasm in the 5th dimension that people go to when they make VSTi plugins that aren't royalty-free.

It's like, do you SERIOUSLY think I'm gonna pay you PER SALE to use your drumkit? I'm up to my spleen in drumkits, I don't need yours. Especially since the only good thing about yours is the floortoms, and I already know a girl named Boss Dr.550 who's got better ones.

SynthV's Basic edition doesn't have a VSTi plugin (that's one of the paid/Pro features). ): Basic/free runs standalone.

Most of the AI SynthV voices have Lite versions, and buying their full versions gives access to cross-language functions (Lite can only use their default language) and some other stuff alongside a quality jump. But if you just want a free, quick voice for a silly joke Lite can do good!

I see. That is not ideal. But I am no stranger to brute forcing things to work how I want them to. So. I’ll be sure to keep it in mind!!
