Today's prompt is Science.

This one is based on one of the arcs (EpidemiK n' The Kure). Alex is shown trying to create a cure for a virus that caught during that arc.

在很多情况下，RD提交了他的代码后就会触发CI的流程，当CI的后面会跟着CD进程。但是如果在这个过程中最开始提交的代码就有一些问题，如果CI/CD过程没有门禁卡点，代码仓库的主干代码就被污染了。

如果有Verigreen，那么当RD提交代码给对应的分支的时候，提交的代码如果没有经历任何验证是无法成功提交到代码仓库中的。

Insektober day 27: Pollen

Ft @emilyrosebug's black widow Verigreen, Violette!! I rlly wanted to draw her n Zarojo having tea together. I also really wanted to draw Violette's house! It fascinates me that Verigreen society is presumably flight dependent and yet Violette lives in it without wings & it made me rlly think abt how she lives as a spider in a bug world! So her home is hyper specialized specifically for her-- it's all one web with several shelves, and the lowest point is the center of the web that holds a table; her dining room! She can't really eat solid food, so the table has indentations that can hold cups and bowls and prevent them from falling, but she doesn't own any plates since she has no need for them.

Zarojo is very comfortable climbing onto Violette's web since they're friends, but I imagine most bugs would be very scared about it! After all, the web's kind of sticky and wobbly, so your average Insektor would probably stumble around and fall over! Or worry about being eaten! But I'm sure Violette only drinks other animal blood, not Insektor blood. She's not a vampire or cannibal! (though IRL black widows TOTALLY eat hymenopterans and weevils and beetles lol. So I guess she and Zarojo do have something in common even though she might eat them irl????)

I like the idea of these 2 being friends cuz they match in a lot of ways I think... I mean, they're both named after colors for one, and they're cute characters based offa scary bugs irl, so they're both a little misunderstood! Zaro is also pretty antisocial n doesn't have a whole lot of friends outside of their sister, so I think it's nice that they n Violette r pals!

Silly design ramblings under the cut:

Fun fact, I have this list of like,,, not rlly canon Insektors design conventions I follow whenever I make a new bug OC and I sometimes break them when I draw others' characters! One of them is that my designs can't/don't have normal eyelashes, which is why the only character I designed that has them, is Unity, who has antennae that look like eyelashes! Anyways so I break this rule every time I draw someone else's Insektors OC cuz it's a funny rule I made up and only I follow it LOL. If you're curious, my other 'conventions' are that the Insektors can't have eyebrows and they can't blush. They also never have accurate limb counts and they have varying eye counts lol. It's always like,, 2 less limbs and however many eyes look good in the design? Like did you know those drops on Zarojo's forehead represent their oceli? Now you do. Max straight up doesn't have oceli! I just reference them whenever I feel like it lol!

Insektober day 23: Fusion

Goldsturdy, the fusion of Krabouic (Drumsturdy) and Goldenrod. I designed them for @emilyrosebug's Fusion Katastrophe story; she calls them Rodbouic in the fic since I suppose it makes more sense. Though, I think Goldsturdy sounds cooler. Like a beautiful staff you hit someone over the head with! LOL.

They're a fusion of two hyper-patriotic egotists from opposite factions, so as a result Goldsturdy has NO regard for Kruds OR Verigreens and only cares about making themself stronger. Their existence is very much a sorta... toxic power trip for Krabouic. Haha, they're toxic cuz they're a Velvet Ant lolz

today’s prompt was ‘light’. I don’t remember if I’ve posted these two before, so I’ll explain them anyways. Their names are Atticus and Gromphador respectively, and they’re interps-- personalized designs for Pyro and Krabo’s ancestors. Atticus is an atlas moth, and Gromphador is a hissing cockroach. 

basically my goal with these 2 was to make them appear related to Pyro and Krabo, but distinctive enough to where they’re clearly distinguishable as different people. (or so Krabo can claim Gromphador “looks nothing like” him, lol) As usual though, their colors are auto-generated. Atticus is not really blue lmao.

daily drawing. today’s prompt was ‘Reform’ so I drew Kaboche, reformed as a Verigreen. His coloration is NOT auto generated, this is how I think he’d actually look! Colors are based off green tree ants. I think he looks melon-flavored... lol!

DAILY DRAWING AN HOUR BEFORE THE NEXT DAY LOL

today has been busy... but ITS DONE AT LAST

today’s prompt was ‘Swap’, so I drew Prince Max and Iridamorous, but Max is a verigreen and Irid is a krud. As usual the colors are auto-generated, but Irid’s color scheme is actually pretty close to how I imagine he’d look as a krud-- if not, slightly brighter.

I figured it’d be fitting to draw these two swapped, since I think if the story had continued, Max could easily become a verigreen himself if given enough time. On the other hand, Iridamorous literally spies on the other kruds by posing as one himself, so I figured a true krud form for him could be interesting. I also considered drawing Aelia for this prompt, but I can’t really think of a good krud design for her-- Irid was very easy to design because male bagworm moths really do look like this, their wings are transparent and their bodies are covered in dark brown/black fur. I couldn’t think of a more krudlike analogue for what Aelia is... maybe I will someday if I feel like doing more ‘swaps’ like this?

hahahah its another anti prompt LOL the only way this is 'relax' is cus theyre TELLING him itll hurt less if he relaxes and stops squirming LOL. I probably coulda drawn Nokturno for today's prompt but I chose violence cuz I JUST drew her!!

a while ago I had a dream where Bentley was being taught how to "light torture" a krud... so I figured I'd finally draw it! My actual dream didn't feature Crosette (I can't remember who was there with Bentley) and it was way brighter like eye piercing light but I wanted to spare your eyes so the bg is dull lol. Anyways arent Crosette and Sisyphus' color schemes so tasty looking like omg

Insektober day 10: Flowers!

Suzy pays a visit to Flora's flower shop and buys a bouquet! Flora belongs to @emilyrosebug.

Suzy is my OC, she's a paper wasp queen. She's like a semi-authoritative Verigreen? It's hard to say since Verries don't rlly have traditional leaders, though Suzy feels kinship with her fellow wasps and ants and tries to better life for them any way she can! She is kind and calm, but also very protective! I think unlike her Krud analogues (Bakrakra and Prometheus to a greater extent) she isn't unhappy with her role in Verigreen society simply because there's no pressure for her to be something she doesn't want to be. She can just do her thing! And so she will. Today's a nice day for flowers, so she bought a handful from her friend!

Don't ask me abt flower size continuity or I will be VERY sad bc it took me foever to draw them LOL. I didnt have to go this far for a damn daily drawing!!! my hand hurtz...

Insektober day 6: Music!

This is a repeat prompt from last year! So to switch it up I drew Fulgor and Zarojo performing together. I dunno if they're friends but Fulgor loves music and Zarojo has a hidden passion for it... so they can collaborate a little! Zarojo is actually more like Aelia's friend who just sort of knows Fulgor, but they can bond thru shared interests as a treat lol.

Insektober day 22: Masquerade! (sorry its late)

Queen Bakrakra and General Lukanus at the masquerade ball. Lukanus wishes to dance with the queen but alas, he's a never been much of a dancer and she hasn't moved her legs this much in years.... they'd be a disaster on the dance floor.

So instead Bakrakra will stand and watch her subjects like ants, while Lukanus scours the premises for a certain ant! (FULGOR!)

This piece takes place at the same time as day 7! Same masquerade ball. The whole Masquerade thing is an episode of my rewrite (still a WIP....) and @dnpanimationstudioclone came up w the idea for it! It's meant to go between Koa the Frog and The Reskue, a transitional state between the Kruds being unable to put a face on the Verigreen threat and the Kruds recognizing Fulgor as the main threat of Verigreen resistence (and Aelia, but they don't really take her seriously since they see her as a weak butterfly)

Insektober day 2: Adventure!

Aelia takes Kaboche and Nokturno on an adventure thru Joyceland! Kaboche wanted to take a tour willingly but Nokturno's only here cuz it's not safe for her to be in Krud City while there's construction (what if she fell asleep!! It woudl be very dangerous for her). Kaboche is stoked to be here and intrigued by Verigreen culture and by the wildlife and plants, but Nokturno wishes she could just go home. She hates to admit weakness, but she's honestly terrified right now! How could she not be, she's only awake 1 month every year n she's never been outside The Stump before!

Insektober Day 6 - Music

Here we are, a repeated prompt from last year's Insektober. As a few of you know, the music prompt was the first day of the challenge and today it's the sixth prompt. There are also a couple more repeated prompts in this year's Insektober which are Flowers and Fusion.

A Lovely Violette drawing of her playing with her violin, though it's not pollen-loaded. Godfrey asked if she wanted it enhanced into a colour weapon but she denied it. However, her skills could make good use of luring Kruds into a Verigreen trap.

“TIGER’S EYE SAMA!!??!”

I am NOT fucking late I PROMISE I was just fucken busy today (not a lot of time to draw this since I had volunteer work today). I will admit I didn’t have to go this hard for a fucken crossover prompt lol... but too bad!! I had this idea in my head since I started insektober essentially. Insektors x Houseki No Kuni! Kretinus is Imperial Topaz and Fulgor is Fire Opal. Peg and Elmo are lunarians! 

I wanted to use HNK because of the juxtaposition between it and Insektors. I mean I guess they’re kinda similar in a weird way? Kruds and Verigreens, like Earth gems and Moon gems, are almost exactly the same, and yet... they have to fight due to ideological differences essentially. Is that a stretch? I dunno.

... plus my crab brain saw an opportunity to draw gems n leapt at it lol. I CANT HELP IT, GEMS ARE RLLY FUN TO DRAW!
