Mojo being Louis' little shadow whenever Lestat's away because he misses him and Louis lets him follow him around because he's waiting for Lestat to come home too and he's glad to have the company and for it to be from someone who won't Bother him. Louis miiight even let Mojo on the furniture to snuggle (even though he doesn't normally allow it) but as soon as Lestat's back, Louis' like "yeah Mojo missed you, he hasn't left me alone the whole time 🙄 Me? No I didn't miss you at all, it's been lovely having some peace and quiet for once"

The writer in me knows that Lestat and Armand’s relationship being so painful is why it’s so compelling. There is so much deep, mutual love between them but because of where they were both at in their immortal lives when they met, it could never have worked out and they spend so much time dancing around each other after.

The fix-it fic enjoyer in me really wants to see them to find some kind of real closure in the show and be completely raw and honest with one another about how they really feel, even if it’s not that sort of show and doesn’t match the books and is even a little boring. There’s something so shockingly tender about their relationship considering who both of them are. They really do love each other, even if it’s not quite presented like the other relationships.
