The thing is, this was just an idea fromed while listening to like some music. suddenly, you have to daydream a character, and well said character doesn't really fit, so you change them a itsy tiny winy bit to fit for the song. But then it starts rolling into an avalanche of plot.

Shadows Before Loathing Week #2

Hello all! Planning is still in the works, there’s a lot of moving parts going on. Forgot to answer the “story?” question last week as well. Teehee?

Please send any more questions you guys may have to me! And if you’ve been following the Shadows Before Loathing tag, you’ll know that the two other Game Masters of this campaign are @i-am-very-heck and @chikaoofka !

Additionally, maybe you could also send in item ideas? There is a LOT of them to be made, I’m interested in hearing what you guys come up with!

Now to the main part...

Well, I’m here to tell you guys that while the year is set to 1842, the game will take place in England, primarily in London. There is something afoot, and that something is Shadow and how it encroaches on your life, altering it in ways that you couldn’t have possibly prepared for. Your characters will have to discover the intricate conspiracy that threatens peace and unravel it--your loved ones, your life, and the world as you know it are at stake. The details... Well, those are to be found out later, right? It’s no fun if I spoil too much before the game begins!

I will note: being set in London does not mean that your character has to be British-- I’ll say now for undisclosed reasons, it’d actually make the most sense for your character to start out in America. Visiting for a holiday, living there, merchant business, etc. Plus, among our NPCs, some of them will be from a lot of different Loathing-equivalent places in the world-- Brazil, Germany, Ireland, Italy, America (again), China, etc etc etc.

Apologies for how long it’s taking to set it up! It’s our first time for all three of us, plus it’s completely homebrew, therefore we gotta set up the game system from scratch too ^^’
