If I was a fanfic writer...

I would write a fanfic about how the Director of the WWA confronts Jiwoo about why he should breed Casein Nitrate (especially to a cat within their family/organization). Jiwoo panics (because if he doesn’t stop the Director from trying to get Kayden to mate with a cat his homicidal mentor is going to murder the Director) and blurts out that Casein Nitrate can’t be bred because he’s gay. 

Jiwoo later tells Kayden what he told the Director. Kartein nearly dies from laughing his balls - wait he doesn’t have any ass off. It’s a miracle that Jiwoo was able to restrain Kayden to prevent Kartein’s demise. It’s all fun & games until the Director starts bringing Jiwoo portfolios of MALE CATES Casein Nitrate can fall in love with. Kayden’s on the verge of having an aneurism, Jiwoo is worried sick for the Director’s well-being & Kartein is having a blast. 

Kayden strongly recommends to Jiwoo that if he doesn’t change the Director’s mind, he will (cue death threats). Jiwoo has another talk with the Director which flusters Jiwoo so much that he ends up blurting out that Casein Nitrate is a gay cat who happens to be in a relationship with the white cat he brought along (Kartein). 

Now Kayden and Kartein are pissed. Kayden’s pissed because if he doesn’t pretend to be lovey-dovey to Kartein in their cat forms in public, the Director will continue to try and have him make a cat. Kartein’s pissed because Jiwoo dubbed him with a ridiculous name to go by in his cat form and the Director commented to all of them that Casein Nitrate/Kayden could do better than a malnourished flee riddled ally cat. 

It’s chaotic, dramatic, and hilarious. Will I ever write this? Maybe.

i’m back i guess

hi everyone it’s been a while sorry for the inactivity because of college and work. a lot of things that had happened during my personal life. i might try to post some wwa stuff but i’ll do something that interests me. i’ve been into the depth of mr. spielberg’s works so he might be my side director for now. the most anticipated movie i want to see again is the fabelmans, the movie’s stuck in my head until it releases.

A cousin of mine is involved with food(i want to keep it vague but providing food on set). She is friends with a lot of the light and sound and makeup crew and would chat with them and she said that the director was just generally rude to everyone she thought below her. Lie that was the first thing that made me dislike wilde is that classist attitude (1/2

i’ve read a lot of stuff about how toxic that work environment was. especially when it became more and more about “holivia”. shame on her for being so unprofessional around such big actors and not fulfilling the role she was supposed to: a director. i hope more people wake up to the reality of what’s going on because it’s truly a mess. thank you for giving me a little more insight to what happened on set. and please tell your cousin she should spill more tea (if she can 👀)

Jaehyun was just on set and it was time to shoot the last kissing scene. He tries to take it all very professionally, but Minu reacts exactly the opposite. She clung to him, laughing at every word he said. She pretended to be his girlfriend that day and that annoyed Jaehyun. All he has to do is manage one kiss, then it would be over and he wouldn't be back as an actor anytime soon. He was already looking forward to spending time with his family again and spending a lot of time with his new daughter. "Okay Jaehyun. I need a little more of you. A little more passion." The director wasn't that keen on Jaehyun's acting. "Okay ...", Jaehyun said quietly and tried to concentrate. He just wanted to get this over with as quickly as possible. When the "go" came and the crew wwas filming again, Jaehyun tried to do his best. He felt Minu's hands, but decided not to touch them. He just leaned down and closed his eyes. He tried to imagine that she was you. But it did not work. She smelled different, her lips were different, she tasted different. He didn't like it. He hated it. "AAAAAAAND CUT," called the director and the scene was over. "That was perfect." Jaehyun was relieved that it was finally over. He couldn't have endured it again. After the shoot was over, Jaehyun sat down with his manager to discuss further appointments. Jaehyun wanted to take back his appointments as much as possible. After all that, he wanted to be at home to support you with the children. He knew it wouldn’t happen right away, but now that the drama filming was almost over, he could be more at home again. "Hey." The drama stylist came up to the two men and sat with them. Her look was a little worrying and she turned to the manager. "Can I talk to you?" She asked seriously and the man nodded. The two got up and walked a few steps away from Jaehyun. At first he thought nothing and just looked at his phone, but then he heard certain key words. "You have to be careful, she talks so much rubbish," said the stylist. "It can't be that bad," said the manager. "I tell you she's crazy. She tells everyone they are in love." "Okay, I'll take care of it." The manager gently stroked the stylist's arm and sat down next to Jaehyun. He said nothing but went through the appointments. At first Jaehyun thought about saying something, but then he read it because he just wanted to go home.

When Jaehyun came home that evening, the children were sleeping ...again. He hated leaving the house when the children were asleep and that he would come home when the children were asleep again. He felt he would never see them. "Are you still awake?" He whispered and lay down in bed with you. "Yeah, I couldn't sleep," you say and turn onto your back. You put your hand on your belly and smile. "Hi," he said gently and kissed you, but you taste something strange. "Have you been drinking?" You were surprised, because he didn't seem drunk. "After the kissing scenes, I washed my mouth out with vodka," he said and laughed. "Haha was it that bad?" You ask him and you had to laugh too. You were relieved that it was over now. "Yeah, and I never want to do it again. From now on, those lips are yours only." He kissed you again and this time the vodka taste didn't bother you so much. "I missed you," you say quietly and look at him. "I missed you too." He stroked your cheek and stared at you for a while. It was nice to just have the time with him. You know.... this is random, but I keep thinking about Harry’s pink converse that we saw in the another man mag archive. They were so dirty and run down and I’m thinking of the amount of times that he must have worn them and we never SAW!!! Just goes to show that we only see a fraction of everything.. ahhh how I wish I could’ve seen Harry wearing his pink converse 🥺🥺 only I still remember people in the fandom saying that they were actually red 🙄 but anyway. i think about these things all the time actually. not just the converse (whether pink or not). like the photo that was found from Glenn’s instagram of harry wearing those metallic pink boots back in 2015 (ish?)

or when there’d be traces of chipped or light colored nail polish that had been taken off or lightly applied during certain dates of WWA & OTRA

or back in 2016, when grimmy mentioned that harry wore nail polish often in private and that his favorite color was black before harry came out for the first time wearing nail polish during his Another Man launch party

or that he wore dresses/enjoyed them in private per the HS1 polaroids and the screen shot of lights up directors cut before we ever saw him publicly in a couple.

there’s so many things, and you’re right. we see such a small fraction of all of their lives and usually it’s what they choose to show publicly. and it really does warm my heart seeing how far harry has been able to grow in his identity and expression over the past few years where these things mentioned above seem small in comparison to where he’s at it now, but at the time was very significant.

I remember something on HS dynamics with the rest of the boys. I know there's a similar ask / post on your blog so please let me know if I'm just seeing things / not:

I've been watching lots of interviews and performances (way back to UAN era) and the differences are staggering. I mean HS got quiter and more unresponsive as time went on, sometimes even straight up rude (which maybe hints that he did not like them that much idk). I saw a video where Lilo was having a waterfight and although Niall was not participating he was smiling and nodding along, giving them some sort of acknowledgment (like "hey! I see you!" Kinda thing) but Harry just........ kinda ignored them. Even physically moved away from them. Like I understand not wanting to be involved in water fights but the boys seems to respect Niall and he did not have to run away or straight up ignore their existence yk. Another thing that bothers me the most is interviews with Liam.At first I didnt notice but when I revisited those old clips... hmmm Liam would say something and Harry wouldnt even look at him when he's speaking. When he was with other bandmates Liam literally looked all the way across to Louis and Niall (they were sitting on a sofa with Louis at the opposite end). Whenever Harry speaks however, everyone listened and LOOKED AT him as in paying attention. He was busy ruffling his hair or looking at the ground idk some really rude stuff. Another thing I noticed is that whenever Liam tried to talk privately during interview (w/o his mic on/during the presenter's part) everyone would look and listen to him but Harry would just... busy with himself. I think the only person HS respects and like is Niall. And even then, I saw those genuine interaction at the end of OTRA / mitam promo era as HS realizing he looks weird not interacting with the rest of the boys. This does not apply to early 1D Days up until WWA of course like they truly seemed united without someone iching to gtfo of the band yk. I think someone mentioned in ur ask how Louis gives so much for Harry for him to ignore and dismiss him. I think it sadly applies to the rest of the boys as well:(

Wow... that’s a lot! And thank you for pointing out all the specific details because I’ve actually forgotten quite a bit.

I think it’s pretty clear in photos from WWA South America that Harry had separated himself from the boys and had begun to think of himself as “other.” From spring to summer 2014, Louis hung out mainly with Zayn— this is when the “Chicken in Chile” video happened. If you watch that video, you’ll see how tight Louis and Zayn were and their dynamic — Louis was kind and listened to Zayn, and Zayn trusted Louis to know exactly what he was saying. The San Siro behind-the-scenes footage also showed some very interesting band dynamics— Harry hanging out with the director and crew, the boys hanging out without him.

When they promoted Four, some of the tension went away on camera. I am guessing that by this time, Zayn was set on leaving— it was just a matter of arranging contracts and logistics. Zayn looked almost apathetic in public appearances. The band also seemed to interact better with Harry in interviews. I think there had been big disagreements between Louis and Harry, and by the fall of 2014, they had resolved it.

In retrospect, it feels like Harry was impatient through most of OTRA, waiting for time to pass and trying to build his solo fanbase. He was singing a lot of Zayn’s solos, and we can hear that MITAM was like a test run... call it HS0.5 (Since Harry was eventually signed to Columbia and not Syco, and since Sony already owned 75% share of Syco by July 2015, I think we can conclude that Sony had a big part in deciding which boys sang solos for MITAM. As well, I don’t know how anyone can deny that Sony wanted to build a solo Harry career out of 1D OTRA.)

The clue was Jeff and Xander’s presence through all of 2015. It was deliberate.

Actually- just an addition here. The boys all said that “Louis is the business leader behind the scenes,” and Wootton’s 2015 article confirmed that. I think that in 2014, as solo Harry really started to take shape, the band was in a dilemma. Louis’ special friendship with Zayn and his on-off relationship with Harry put him in a tough spot. Louis wanted to advise the band to do the best thing for their future, but he couldn’t be completely objective. He had to choose. By 2015, somehow Louis was convinced that Harry’s solo career wouldn’t negatively affect the band. Sony sold the hiatus to Louis, Niall, and Liam. They believed it.

If you watch Harry’s interviews for his solo debut in 2017 and compare it to 2019, I hope you notice the difference in his demeanor. He was hopeful and exuberant in 2017, but in 2019 he has a workman-like dourness, as if we are seeing a façade of someone going through the motions. He is a different person.

CONTINUE TO SPEAK THE TRUTH ABT MIKE THAT MAKES ME SO MAD ! like in the book he has the best home life out of the losers and his father's cool photo album is what teaches the kids abt pennywise... in the new movies it's ben the kid who's lived there for one month who knows about the entire town history and mike's parents are dead drug addicts... we hate to see it

the absolute DISGRACE that wwas mike’s story should make the directors/producers feel ashamed! it made no sense why they couldn’t let mike have HIS story. it really irks me when black characters’ stories get stripped from them and given to white ones (spiderman home comING AHEM). 

it really shows the bias they had for literally the rest of the cast. mike is reduced to a 1 dimensional character with no purpose but to guide the rest of the crew and push the plot. hell there’s SO MUCH in that movie that we didn’t NEED that could have been filled with more mike development. (like no artifact, no flash back??? nothiNG??)

Equilibrium Prologue Insight

Political and Mystery thriller is off to a nice start, I’d say. Here’s to hoping my first full original story does what it’s supposed to!

As stated about WWA’s epilogue, Equilibrium follows directly after and inherits the current mood of Chaldea. Regardless, I still went about trying to define the atmosphere now that the celebrations had ended. They’re now left with plenty of rough spots that need to be smoothed, all while the new outside factors are adding the first problems of their own.

The flashback scene, if some recall correctly, was a reference way back to Hector’s fragment when he found Da Vinci and Roman in the Director’s office. Friendly reminder that, yes, I do drop hints well in advance at times. Remember that offhanded remark about Gudao’s cousin way back in TGL’s prologue? Yea, that has a payoff in the future too. Sometimes I put down bricks before I have any intent on building the foundation further. There’s just a lot of information and ground to cover, that’s all.

I’ve finally confirmed the statuses of the two major OCs in critical condition during the incident. As a fun note, nearly a year ago, I was toying with the idea of killing off one or two OCs in order to accomplish certain moods and objectives. As time went on, I figured out I could still accomplish what I wanted through different means. It would have also admittedly taken some of the attention away from Roman’s sacrifice too.

Otherwise, I can’t really say much about anything else. I should have placed well more than enough suspense and mysterious things for you to look at and speculate. It’s going to be a short ride, but there’s going to be quite a few massive reveals before everything settles in the end… but how will it all settle?

EDIT 7/5/18: I’ve discussed with a few fans about the difficult genre positioning. To fix any confusion, the story’s closest “true” genre is Political Thriller throughout. It was formerly improperly labelled with “Mystery” at first, but this was corrected since it’s better categorized under the suspense genres because of its overall design. It contains some mystery elements in the beginning, and a third genre appears towards the end, but it fits closest to Political Thriller. Apologies to anyone who was misled a bit. That was my mistake.

Masked Matches of May XXX : La Park vs La Parka for the rights to the La Parka name, Triplemania XVIII, June 6th 2010

Who’s Who?

La Parka(II)

Making his debut in 1987 he originally worked various names until 1995 when he made it onto the AAA roster where he worked as Karis la Momia(Karis the Mummy) named after Kharis, the famous Mummy from the 1940′s film series. As the original La Parka started spending more time in WCW and away from AAA they repackaged Karis as La Parka Jr. which he used until 2003 when he would just became the new La Parka. Because La Parka(I) joined CMLL and AAA took legal action to ban La Parka from using the name/suit.

This would eventually lead to a Park/La Parka feud which we’ll be looking at here. So basically the last 7 years in AAA La Parka has been getting a bit of a push to become the new La Parka. Immediately putting the Mexican National Tag Team Championship on him(with Octagon). He was also in the main event of the next 4 Triplemanias first in an atomicos match in 2003, then a mask vs mask with Cibernetico in 2004, a trios match in 2005, and a mask vs mask match in 2006. He would also main event 2009′s Triplemania in a 5 vs 5 cagematch. So AAA were trying to make him a big deal and did. He is a positioned as a legend on his own right. Even if most people still prefer The Authentic La Park. It’s not like the current La Parka hasn’t paid his dues. Being in AAA for over 20 years he has plenty of back catalog to be proud of.

La Park

La Park made his debut in 1982 a decade before AAA would be founded. He would hold no titles in that time. Before the La Parka(The reaper) gimmick Parka was most notably Principe Island a mask he lost in 1987 to El Hijo del Santo. ending his 5-0-0 streak. I’m sure he had his fans, but he wasn’t super well known at all as those gimmicks his first decade in the business.

1992 came around and the AAA walkout happened. Antonio Pena, the leader and head booker of AAA who use to be a CMLL booker came to La Parka with the idea for the gimmick. The skeleton based loosely on the Day of the Dead tradition Mexico practices each year. The character was a hit out of the gate and the first major match was vs Lizmark at the first ever Triplemania for Lizmark’s  Mexican National Light Heavyweight Championship. Not covering that match because I talked about it last year when highlighting Lizmark.

That belt would be around Park’s waist before too long. That and the WWA World Light Heavyweight Champion were the only 2 belts Parka had held at this point in 2001. He held the Mexican National Light Heavyweight Championships 3 times and the WWA title 2 times.

1992 to 1996 he worked with AAA until 1997 came around and the peso crashed. Like many people he left the company at that time following many other luchadors to bolster WCW. Where despite becoming a household name and one of the most memorable guys on the roster… he never really won any accolades. After his run in WCW he would return to Mexico working indie and CMLL dates from 2000-2008.

So Park had done his CMLL run and would come back to AAA for a few years teaming with the rudo stable Perros del Mal which was lead by Perro Aguayo Jr. who makes an appearance after this match finishes up with many people who were in the stable at the time. 

How is the match?

Great, these two have a great brawl. I think La Park sorta makes La Parka look like a chump for most of this. Being the original it’s nice to see Park take all his frustration out on La Parka. After years of having to use a replacement name, this was finally Park’s chance to take his name back. I’m not use to the 6 sided ring, but it didn’t seem to hurt this match at all with both guys knowing how to work in it without any hiccups. 

While this could gets confusing for some I think the two’s outfits have enough differences that it’s fairly easy to tell them apart. Park having a white hood, shoulder skulls and a face on his ribcage. While Parka has no face on his chest or shoulder skulls and has a red hood. Once the match got going, I never found myself mistaking one for the other despite both being in skeleton bodysuits. 

Less obvious are the cornermen for each guy. La Park has Dorian Roldan, while La Parka had AAA managing director Joaquin Roldan who I think was Dorian Roldan’s father. So a family feud is brewing in the background while this match is happening. Joaquin is brother in law to Antonio Pena, who of course is AAA’s founder and is highly honored by them at many events after his death in 2006.

This match is plenty of fun, but La Parka comes out of it looking pretty weak. Which might have been the point if AAA were hoping to give him back the La Parka name and a push with it. The Boxing/Lucha Commission took issue with the finish and ruled it a no contest. I’m not sure why AAA didn’t do the match again or just ignore the commission. I’m not sure how they would retaliate, but I’m surprised AAA bowed to them since they ditched all the National Belts I had assumed the two didn’t work together all that often. 

This is much better than the other La Parka(II) Triplemania main event we covered a few days ago. This match just feels like it’s actually about the match in the ring and not a bunch of silly stuff outside the match. Even if the finish does see both corner men get involved and a run in. The run in wasn’t during 80′s of the match and have the best spot of the match like when I think Crazy Boy did a moonsault off the staging at that La Parka/Muerte Cibernetica Mask vs Mask match a few years earlier. A fun brawl and showcase for both men even if La Parka(II) seemed to be proven as the lesser La Parka by the end of the match.

 - Describe the growth and development of black visual culture in the sixties and seventies ?

Answer: The beginning of the black arts movement solidified around the arts-activism of Amir Baraka in the mid 1960s. A poet, playwright and publisher, Baraka was a founder of the black arts repertory theatre/school in Harlem and spirit house in Newark, New Jersey, his hometown.

Baraka’s initiatives on the east coast were paralleled by black organizations in Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, New Orleans and San Francisco leading to a national movement.

In its philosophy, “Black is Beautiful” focused on the emotinoal and psychological well-being.

By highlighting changes and continuties in African American cultural politics over the course of four decades, it offers fresh perspectives on the contours of the long civil rights movement.

Emory Douglas was one of the most important artists and designers of the black visual cultural movements of the sixties. He worked as the minister of culture for Black Panther party from 1967 until the party disbanded in the 1980s. His graphic art was featured in most issues of the Black Panther newspaper. As the art director, designer, and main illustrator for the Balck Panther, Douglas created images that became icons, representing black american struggles during the 1960′s and 1970′s he realized the Black Panther needed potent images to cut through the high illiteracy rates in poor communities.

Douglas’s artwork were spread on neighborhood walls. Each made the revolution appear imminent and encouraged pride and self defense in communities otherwise broken by brutal police. His signature bold lines formed the faces of an armed and defiant people who refused oppression.

“The Black Aesthetic” (1971) by Scholar Addison Gayle, are essays that call for black artists to create and evaluate their works based on criteria relevant to black life and culture. Their aesthetics, or the values of beauty associated with the works of art, should be a reflection of their African heritage and worldview, not European dogma, the contributors stated. A Black Aesthetic would embolden black people to honor their own beauty nad power.

In 1971 was organized the “Where We At” Black Women Artists (WWA) provided an opportunity for black women, marginalized by both the predominantly male black arts movement and the largely white feminist ( and feminist art) organization, to share concerns and resources. Although they made art, many of WWA’s members did not consider themselves  professional artists.

This movement  provided these women with a space in which they could engage in meaningful substantive conversation and exchange work and ideas.

The movement lasted for about a decade, through the mid- 1960s and into the 1970s. This was a period of controversy and change in the world of the African-American society. One major change came through in the potrayal of new ethnic voices in the United States.

African Americans became a greater presence not only in the field of literature but in all areas of arts. Theater groups, poetry, performances, music and dance were central to the movement. African Americans were able to educate others about the expression of cultural differences and viewpoints.

The Black Arts movement, is essential to the history of the United States. It spurred political activism and use of speech through out every African American community. It allowed African Americans the chance to express their voices in the mass media as well as become involved in communities.

The African American people openly took pride in being black and worked to improve, to define, a clear perception of themselves. It was necessary to fulfill the self determination that the Black Power concept aimed to achieve in order to build a reality of its own.

Although the movement does not exist as such today- The members took separete ways, as their political views started diverging in 1974- is able to recognize its legacy, in today’s rhythm and blues, gospel, hip hop and rap music.

BLM collaborates with two non-profits for conservation of the Northern Red Desert

During a 10-day project in July 2017, the Bureau of Land Management, the Wyoming Conservation Corps, and the Wyoming Wilderness Association collaborated to support the conservation of the Northern Red Desert. Workers from the organizations placed 113 signs indicating the boundary of five Wilderness Study Areas, helping to preserve the area’s unique features and landscape.

Such partnerships are vital to managing sustainable, working public lands for both current and future generations. “This project has set a wonderful precedent for collaboration between the BLM and non-profits in reaching shared stewardship goals,” said Shaleas Harrison, WWA Wild Lands Community Organizer. “It has helped to ensure that the magic of the Red Desert will be there for future generations.”

The Northern Red Desert contains fossils, artifacts and famous historical landmarks in abundance, providing numerous opportunities to encounter Wyoming’s archaeological and anthropological past. The landscape is also important to wildlife, as it is home to the largest over-land ungulate migration route, as well as one of the largest desert elk herds in North America.

The WWA crew consisted of University of Wyoming students, who worked in cooperation with BLM Recreation Planner Georgia Foster and WCC Program Director Patrick Harrington. Foster prepared the tools, maps, and project details for the crew, while the WCC provided a work crew of seven university students. The WWA crew also completed an education component, which included a guided tour with ethno-botanist and wildlife researcher John Mionczynski. Minoczynski shared tales of Native American history, as well as tastes of edible desert plants.

“It is important throughout their summer that WCC members receive diverse experiences in stewardship,” said Harrington. “These experiences help them grow as future employees and allow them to see how complex land management can be in Wyoming.”

“The crew was fantastic!” Foster added. “The team completed far more than was anticipated at the beginning of the project, and helped them learn about what we do here. The public also benefits by having this type of work completed and information about these WSAs available.”

The WWA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting Wyoming’s wild lands. Their work involves educating the public about wild places and working with federal land agencies on projects that affect wilderness quality lands. The WCC is a non-profit program housed within the University of Wyoming that receives support through AmeriCorps. They conduct projects around the state on public land from habitat restoration to trail building and removing fence.

so. i have a shit ton of things i’m working on simultaneously... 

(it’s a tiny part of the reason, among many others, that i take such long breaks from the twelve fic cause half the time i get caught up working on other shit and then i’m like wait no gotta get back to twelve it’s been way too long lol smh)

but anyway the main thing at the moment, as many of you all know and as i’ll probably ramble on about for way too long is the twelve fic, which is sort of a winter soldier au, or at least that’s what it was inspired by anyway but it’s kind of deviated so much from that and taken on such a life of its own at this point that idk if it can even really still be considered an au of that verse anymore but it features zayn as a brainwashed assassin who goes by the name twelve after being kidnapped and having all of his memories wiped when he was a kid. it’s super triggery and basically involves every bad or horrible thing you could imagine happening to a person happening to zayn at some point until (by chance) he encounters liam, his childhood best friend, who he doesn’t remember in the middle of a bank heist and then later gets assigned to monitor liam b/c the person behind the whole brainwashing child assassin program, aka the director, is a sick fuck. cue liam freaking out and trying to do everything he can to help zayn but having no clue what he’s doing and the other boys finding out and pitching in to help too, along with some interesting side characters both original and non-original. okay i’ve gone on about this fic long enough, onward to the mountain of other ficlets i’m working on smdh…

a sex pollen fic set in 2015 (shortly after zayn left the band) wherein liam gets drugged (sort of) by a fan while out and about in LA with zayn and thinks he’s just coming down with something/getting sick till they get back to zayn’s house and liam ends up begging zayn to fuck him while zayn tries to be the good guy and resist and not take advantage of a naked, drugged out liam

a peter pan ziam/ot5 au featuring zayn as peter, liam as wendy, harry, louis & niall as the lost boys, little mix as fairies, simon as captain hook, and dan wooton (ugh sorry i fucking hate his name so much) as smee (also a name i hate so it works lol), still debating on the mermaids…might make one of them t-swift and maybe throw kendall and gigi in too (and possibly throw in cheryl as part of hook/simon’s pirate crew idk?)…and i also haven’t settled on anyone for tiger lily yet either but i’m open to suggestions for that too if anyone wants to throw someone’s name in the hat. anyway it should be a wild ride if i ever finish it, but got writer’s block shortly after writing the first few scenes and tried to come back to it twice but just couldn’t figure out where to go from where i left off so we shall see…

part three of my outlaws series, which is a ziam prohibition era au series with lots of friendly ot5 feels and some struggles with period-typical homophobia and racism, featuring zayn as a bad boy bootlegger, liam as a good church-going small town boy (at first anyway), louis as a pimp, and niall and harry as his rent boys; in the part i’m currently working, part three, zayn and liam end up going back to liam’s hometown and liam has to grapple with the demons he left behind, including facing his parents (mainly just his mom) who he hasn’t seen in over two years and some of the shitty townsfolk he used to be friends with

there’s also a half-finished ziam five times plus one drabble that got shortened to a four times plus one (and honestly may end up getting shortened to three plus one just so I can get off my ass and finish it because it’s been half done for going on like eight months now and it’s honestly ridiculous smh) but anyway it was originally supposed be the five/four times zayn and liam woke up in bed together and it didn’t mean anything/was just friendly (supposedly) and the one time it meant more

and then there’s the main one that’s taking up my time lately (besides the twelve fic) and that i’m hoping to be ready to start posting soon as well, a slave!liam ot5 fic where the other four come home to their shared flat to find a box with a live boy inside (liam) sent to them by way of a secret organization that calls themselves modest and deals in underground human trafficking, training people to be servants and then shipping them off to groups of people/families whose needs they feel the slave’s skills would match best…it shares a lot of similarities with my twelve fic (in terms of the whole forced servitude thing, brainwashing, and a secret underground org that deals in kidnapping and human trafficking and monitoring people and all that) which was completely unintentional because i actually started writing it around like three years ago now and had completely forgotten about it up until a few months ago when i found it again at the bottom of one of my folders while in the middle of working on twelve and was like holy shit why do i keep writing things like this lmao but then decided to continue it anyway and i’ve been working on it piecemeal ever since and not sure when it’ll be ready to post cause the beginning still needs a lot of work, but hopefully it won’t be too much longer cause I’m really curious and excited to see what people think of it and am kind of anxious/antsy to post it lol

oh and i also have an original fic i’ve been working on kind of piecemeal too, a super angsty fic about an incubus who hates being an incubus and basically tortures himself with sleep deprivation to keep himself from using his powers while also trying to deal with the trials of high school, his abusive father, his asshole of a step-brother (who’s also a siren) and being gay, but ends up falling in love and being forced to kind of come to terms with himself…also kind of delves into what makes someone a monster and how we perceive and define ourselves, and the whole monsters vs. humans debate and which ones are the “real” monsters, etc.

so yeah that’s pretty much it for the most part but i do also have a whole doc full of plot bunnies for like a million other fics (mostly ziam and ot5, but also a few original ones) that may at some point in the future get fleshed out and posted…if i ever get around to finishing the ones i listed here first…le sigh i am a problem child...so sorry this dragged on as long as it did but hopefully out there finds these at least mildly interesting and isn’t completely put off by the fucking dissertation i just wrote about my stupid wip’s
