in the ShB role quests, we watch each of Ardbert's party members make some sort of personal sacrifice, forced to discard their own goals, for the sake of the greater good. The moment they make that choice is when a Crystal of Light appears, officially marking them as Warriors of Light in recognition of their heroism and sacrifice. "By your sacrifice, a warrior made.", as the Shadowkeeper says in battle.

The same lore doesn't hold true for the WoL, back when they were in crystal-collecting mode in ARR and HW, the crystals just appear after major victories without the need for some sort of momentous sacrifice, and seem to serve mostly as a marker of how much story progress you've made/need to make to the end of the expac.

But if you think about it not lore-wise, but symbolically -

With each victory over a Primal, you're ensuring that you'll be the person who'll be called upon for help when next a Primal appears. You're cementing your own role as hero each time.

And each time, you are making personal sacrifices.

You might not even realize it until much later, what you have offered up, bit by bit - your freedom, your peace of mind, your own goals and desires, for the sake of the greater good of the star.

I was thinking about Big Mac and Warrior’s unfinished designs for Fortezza Big City. Are they outdated or they are still the same?

you remembered them! their designs from more than a year ago were made on a whim to get the idea of how they'd look like down. obviously, I wasn't very satisfied, so here they are in their fully colored glory

even though big mac acknowledges warrior's capability, he always felt a strong urge to keep an eye out for him, like a big brother or mentor of some sort (good thing warrior doesn't mind it). either because he's considered the klutz of the star fleet, or because of something much more personal...

In general I prefer my Hyrule to be pretty much entirely oblivious to the existence of trans people, BUT I think it'd be REALLY funny if the Yiga weren't. Master Kohga has a diversity initiative. He correctly realized that the lack of recognition and accommodations for trans people in Hyrule meant that they could easily attract new members from this outcast population if they DID offer said recognition. The Yiga get sensitivity training. Out of uniform they use a system of accessorizing to denote someone's pronouns. Though people aren't allowed to personalize their uniform (security risks, it is better if no-one is personally identifiable), anyone who feels the need to do so for gender expression reasons is welcome to discuss the options with their superior. They've got fucking HRT somehow and are getting really good at gender affirming surgery. The one flaw in Kohga's masterful recruitment plan is that the Yiga's policies of secrecy mean that nobody actually knows about any of this.
