After a certain thing happened, the minicons wondered why Soundwave was walking funny. When Soundwave said his hips were sore, Ravage realized Shockwave deliberately “attacked” him that night and went berserk.

Shockwave just feeding Soundwave stuff he made it doesn't always taste the best but he's trying and Soundwave just giving Shockwave a bunch of gifts that made him think of him then falling asleep on each other.

I love that. Food sharing is so tender 🥺

Because of Soundwave's low-caste upbringing, he's not at all picky about his fuel. Energon is energon, and he always counts himself lucky when he has some. The first time he tries an actual prepared dish rather than just a cube is at Shockwave's place. Even if it's not super high quality or exceptionally well done, it's still the tastiest thing Soundwave has ever tasted and he's very grateful. Shockwave is amazed that he has such a positive reaction to it. Probably gets all flustered

Soundwave finding little trinkets to gift to Shockwave tho 🥺 like a courting bird, that's adorable. Shockwave is hard to shop for, he's the boy that has everything and Soundwave isn't exactly drowning in extra cash, but the fact that he tries means the world to Shockwave 💖 anything he gives him is precious, because even if it's just a funky little bauble, it's from his sweetspark and that's enough

And finally, them falling asleep on each other. More than once Illuminate and Electroshock have found them passed out on the couch, sitting up and leaning against each other, or sprawled out snuggling. Either way, it's adorable, and Illuminate has aaall the pictures

Envy Thy Name is Starscream

Their bond was so gentle, nevertheless, it grated and might as well have been as loud as blaster fire.

Starscream hated them for it. Had gladly left Shockwave to die for it’s existence along with further solidifying his position among the decepticons.

The fact that Soundwave became a mute practically, had been a bonus.

Of course, Shockwave had to have the gall to survive.

The bond becomes even more unbearably tender when The one optic mech returns, as he walks out of the space bridge portal, it clicks into place like it had never been gone in the first place. The only visible tell that Soundwave portrays at its return, is that he relaxes ever so slightly, it’s so subtle that to tell, you’d have to right next to him.

For Shockwave, his optic finds Soundwave first, before focusing on their “esteemed” leader.

It all happens in a nanosecond, but to Starscream, it lasts eons. He not only has to witness their...display, but to feel it.

It’s so sickeningly sweet and gentle when the connection is reestablished. There’s a burst of elation, relief, and finally a warmth. It takes all of Starscream’s strength not to be ill. It’s all so squishy, it feels like how humans look.

Despite Starscream’s best efforts, he shudders at how utterly pathetic the two mechs are. At how entirely transparent their adoration is for each other.

I would let them kiss but that would be cheating-

Let them be with their own continuity’s soulmates. TFP Shockwave’s Soundwave is still trapped in the shadowzone. He then realised he was supposed to look for answers, not a replacement. Inspired by this post. (c) @chamm0y

As for their kid I haven’t really thought of it further than the idea itself being cute (and comical)… this post made the idea even funnier. Also credits to @chamm0y.

I won’t draw the tfe version of *pfft* Microwave… *brb laughing again* but I will draw these two nerds waking up to its cries in the middle of the night.

Would it be cool TFP wavewave met TFE wavewave???? I bet the Soundwaves would get along

Oh both Soundwaves would definitely get along! TFP Soundwave would be inspired to have more babies minicons. TFE Soundwave might be a bit unsure about TFP Laserbeak at first but quickly realised he was just as affectionate as his own Laserbeak.

I can’t say the same about both Shockwaves though. When it comes to science they might either get along or become rivals of logic. Sadly TFE Shockwave knows he’s beaten when it comes to appearances.

He becomes depressed after. Thankfully his Soundwave still loves him the way he is and wouldn’t change a thing.

I didn’t bother drawing TFP WaveWave cause TFP Shockwave will always be out of my league but Shockwave would ramble on and on about how excellent TFE Shockwave is, while Soundwave make a simple request of starting a family having more minicons.
