Priority is proud to partner with the College of Massage Therapists of NB (CMTNB) in their search for a Deputy Registrar to join their team. This is a full-time contract role, and the successful candidate can be based anywhere in New Brunswick.

The College of Massage Therapists of New Brunswick (CMTNB) is a not-for-profit organization established by the Province of New Brunswick, for the purpose of advancing and maintaining the standard of massage therapy in New Brunswick, to govern and regulate massage therapy services provided to the public and provide for the welfare of members of the public. Unlike schools which teach massage therapy or membership-based professional organizations, the CMTNB is one of only 5 colleges in Canada which regulates the practice of massage therapy. The CMTNB is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors, made up of elected members of the College, as well as two lay persons appointed by the Minister of Health, representing the public.

This position provides administrative support for the Registrar position.Responsibilities for this position include:data entry, coordinatingwebsite updates, researching information for the Registrar. The deputy registrar is responsible for organizing the Annual General Meeting, verifying members have met registration requirements. Responding to Members questions about by-laws, policies, or the Massage Therapy Act.

Qualifications & Experience

Post secondary education in a related field

2-4 years experience working in a not-for profit organization is preferred

Bilingual (French/English) written and spoken competency (considered an asset)

Skills & Competencies

Strong interpersonal and communications skills, coupled with excellent relationship-building in a multi stakeholder environment

Demonstrated high standards of ethics, integrity, respect, accountability and diplomacy
