India is a multi-cultural country, rich in traditions. When it comes to Hinduism there are many gods and goddesses worshiped and a specific day is dedicated to each of them. In this way all the days are dedicated to God. Today we will specifically talk about Tuesday when most of the Hindus worship Lord Hanuman and observe a whole day's fast to please him. It is said that this fast when observed religiously removes many problems as the Lord fulfills all the wishes of the devotee after seeing his dedication. Keeping a fast on Tuesday is considered auspicious for getting happiness, wealth, fame and children. One should observe this fast with full devotion by reciting the Tuesday fast story related to Hanuman ji. You can recite Hanuman ji's fasting story for marriage, children, job, progress, going abroad, getting money etc. By the way, it should be worshiped according to the birth chart. Those people whose Mars is more beneficial in their horoscope, then they must read Mangalvar vrat katha. But anyone can worship it. Mangalvar vrat katha Pooja Vidhi If you are observing a fast on Tuesday, then follow Brahmacharya on this day. On this day, wake up before sunrise in the morning and take bath and wear red colored clothes. After this, remembering Lord Hanuman, take a vow to observe a fast. Now after installing the idol or statue of Hanuman ji, offer red vermilion, red clothes and red flowers to him. After lighting the flame, recite Hanuman Chalisa or Sundarkand. Do read the fast story and complete the worship by performing aarti. Place a garland of red flowers and red cloth around Lord Hanuman on Tuesday and read Mangalvar Vrat Katha on this day. Make laddus as prasad. Hanuman ji likes 3 types of laddus, saffron boondi laddu, gram flour laddu and malai-mishri laddu. However, gram flour is said to be his favorite so make these and chant the Lord with a pure heart. Other foods he likes include Imarti, Banarasi Paan and Panchmeva, a mixture of various dry fruits that includes almonds, raisins, cashew nuts, dry dates and coconut. But the Brahmin and his wife used to worship Lord Hanuman every Tuesday and wished Hanuman ji a son. One day Brahmini could not prepare food for Lord Hanuman due to which she became very sad. She took a vow that she would now take food only after offering bhog to Lord Hanuman on the next Tuesday. In such a situation, she stayed away from food for 6 days and fell unconscious on Tuesday. According to mangalvar vrat katha, Seeing the true devotion of the Brahmin, Lord Hanuman was very pleased and gave him the boon of a son. The Brahmin was very happy after getting the boon of a son from Lord Hanuman. When she had a son, she named him Mangal. One day when the Brahmin came back home, he was very surprised to see the boy and he asked the Brahmin about that child. The Brahmin told that Lord Hanuman, being pleased, gave him this child. The Brahmin did not believe in the Brahmin and one day he threw the child into the well. When the brahmin came home, the brahmin asked him about Mangal. Then Mangal came there smiling, seeing that not even a word came out of the Brahmin's mouth. The same night when the Brahmin was sleeping, Lord Hanuman appeared to him in his dream and told that he had given this son to him after being happy with the Brahmin. Knowing all this the Brahmin was very happy after which he and his wife started worshiping Lord Hanuman every Tuesday. Mangalvar vrat katha importance According to the beliefs, keeping the fast on Tuesday pacifies the planets present in the horoscope. Not only this, but the devotees also get the infinite grace of these planets. The devotee who duly worships Lord Hanuman, all his troubles are removed.
