I've seen the highly mysogistic answers on your post about interacting with women as a man and I wonder if you condone that thinking? Do you really think women are the ones to blame for chosing not to hang out with men? As much as I feel sad about your situation and I myself try to be a little bit more open to talking with men and not just ignore them, it feels really simplistic to just simplify our reactions to "ugh mysandry!!". I get we're all tired about terfy male-exclusionism ideas but this is not the same at all.

No, I don't, and I started writing a reply to one of them before realizing that there were other things I needed my energy for.

I know I'm treated that way because women have to be cautious around men in general. I know that a guy acting too friendly can be a warning sign. If my neurodivergence cuts into it, that's an intersection of gender and disability and can be looked at a lot more accurately through acknowledging the complexity of the situation and not "yeah, women suck" (which no one said outright but it comes off as being angry at women and not at the societal situation).

That's what it is, a societal situation. Women act that way because that's how they stay safe. I know that I'm not a threat but they don't. By adulthood, many of them have learned that they need to do this from experience, whether personal or from someone close to them.

I especially hate it that it was compared to trans women being catcalled. It's nowhere near the same thing. My situation makes things a little more lonely at most, it mainly bothers me because I don't like it when I make people uneasy, while catcalling is straight up sexual harassment.

I talked about it because this is my blog and I wanted to speak about my experience. The issue is relatively small when you compare it to why it exists (dangerous psychological/physical experiences from men). I didn't see this as proof of institutional misandry or unreasonable man hating, I see it as the result of patriarchy.

I've been playing The Battle Cats since the North American release. Crazy to think it has been almost a full decade. WIP Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! I'm working my way through a new project. Turns out I have quite a few in the works, and I keep jumping back and forth between them. I can feel them frowning at me every time. Thank you for the tag @annoyingcloudearthquake 🥰

He brings Carlos’ bag into their bedroom, briefly glancing at the ajar bathroom door. Inside, Carlos is undressing slowly, his movements sluggish, his shoulders sagging from exhaustion. The hiss of the shower echoes softly, filling the silence.

TK watches, enthralled, for a few seconds before focusing his attention back on the bag, unzipping it and starting to sift through Carlos’ things.

He takes out the toiletry bag, setting it on the bed, then reaches back in, smiling at the sight of a folded hoodie—his hoodie. As he’s taking it out, a book falls out, its white cover gleaming under the dim light with bold red letters practically begging him to read the title: Poor Performance? How to Make Your Partner Scream Your Name.

He frowns, cocking his head and reaching for it. The binding is tight, pages unbent—it looks new. “What?” he mutters.

He quietly pads toward the bathroom and pushes the door open. “Babe—” His gaze immediately falls onto Carlos’ bare backside, perfectly rounded and marble-sculpted. His brain stutters for a moment, struggling to string together coherent thoughts.

Carlos looks over his shoulder at him. “Yeah?”

TK blinks away the impulse to bridge the gap, squeeze that perfect ass, and press his hips against his husband from behind—something Carlos is definitely too tired to follow through with and that would only leave TK aching in his shorts, again.

Instead, he holds the book up for Carlos to see. “You got something to tell me?”

Carlos narrows his weary eyes, then sighs. “Sam thinks he’s funny.”

Cassia got assassinated. Jae became big money commerce overlord. Idira died having the time of her life. Pasqual went on to his Jesus things. Argenta became a Saint and then wouldn't renounce our friendship so she said fuck this and went Rambo. Marzipan and Yrliet went space pirating. At least Yrliet didn't give me MY FAMILY'S BODY PART as a remembrance gift. But yeah.

8.5/10 would play again. The exposition dump at the end was uhhh yeah. Crazy Aunt Theodora. So very dead but haunting every molecule of oxygen in the story.

Its reason number 185738 that I jot down on why terfs just actually hate women - its so anti-feminist to reduce a womans medical experience, especially one where they gain nothing, to delusions. Its giving very 1880 vibes

I thought the same fucking thing. They claim they're for feminism but "don't like" (hate) or don't include trans women, before putting their transmisogyny before their feminism. At that point you're using the "feminism" excuse extremely blatant as just an excuse.

On top of the fact that menstrual cycles could have much more known about them if women were listened to about their periods. Not a single thought of "maybe I don't know this because it wasn't taught to me" and instead "this isn't how I learned it in my high school health class (if they had any decent education on menstruation in the first place) and therefore you're all delusional."
