What is religions place in moral and ethics arguments in your opinion? I saw one of your posts and i was curious :))

It was smth about how you can't really be reliant on religion as a defense on its own because you'll never really be able to properly hold a discussion. Any argument wherein one party's only defense is "god says it's wrong" or "the bible says it's wrong" is a copout and already kind of doomed to fail from the start. And how it's also frustrating to go up against someone who uses that as their only counterargument (i.e. my dad) because there's really no way to argue against it without offending them. It can't be the end all be all argument because God is only real to the people who believe in him, and this stance will ultimately be worthless on people with any differing belief. I spent an Hour talking with my dad about capital punishment and it was because his only reason for why the death penalty is morally okay is because the government authorized it and God says that we should respect the authority.

You can't really use God in a moral argument until you can definitively prove to the opposing party that God exists and is fully omnipotent and omniscient and omnipresent. You will not be able to tell an atheist woman that abortion is bad because God says so, that would not work and would only antagonize her further. Something something what is god to a nonbeliever. Religion isn't like fully exempt from arguments or whatever, it has its own place in them, especially with how influential it is in every culture, but if man is born with free will then let him think without the constraints of a theoretical god's law

I’ve done sooo much yapping about Warriors today, here are some headcanon about some of the others!

- Twilight’s hair grows similarly to a wolf’s pelt in that his roots are just permanently very dark and his hair is incredibly thick (I also think his hair is definitely a red toned brown)

- Time is not at all a natural born leader or an intentional father figure. He’s just very kind and genuinely wants to help others, and everyone else has really bad Daddy Issues. He’s not being fatherly on purpose and has no idea they’re all interpreting it that way

- More on that: The others all see Time as this stoic, mysterious man, but the reality is Time has HORRIBLE control of his facial expressions and will sit down and think his silly little thoughts and the others will be like “WOAH- He must be THINKIN- Hylia, he’s so wise!!!” but Time’s thoughts are actually just “Did I clean my sword… Wild was hurt earlier I hope he’s feeling better… Is this how Warriors felt about me during the War…”

- Wild is very extroverted and a reasonably chatty guy. He knows like EVERYONE in his era and they all just adore him (except that flower lady by that shrine). He’s cautious around new people because of the yiga, but the town regulars are people he very much enjoys chatting with

- Part of the reason Legend is so grumpy is because he has chronic pain, he doesn’t mean to snap at people. The other part is that he struggles to control his tone. He’s never intentionally rude or cruel to people, he’s incredibly nice and sweet once he relaxes around people

- Warriors and Legend have gotten into a full on physical brawl at least twice over a bet and Time had to break them up

- Sky will wander off with Hyrule and Wild sometimes to find more wood to carve

- Wind is a SHOCKINGLY good artist, he likes drawing places he’s been and the people around him. The others are just impressed he can sit still long enough to finish a piece

- Four would regularly take walks by himself, but Twilight got anxious about him disappearing off alone so he’d join him, but as Wolfie, out of respect of the fact that Four didn’t want Hylian company

- Hyrule has healing magic but is/was NOT a medic, or trained to be one at all. He knew a few basic things from his quest, but the more complex things he learned from Warriors who was trained as a field medic

- Wild is very independent, and is very responsible when he wants to be. He just… rarely WANTS to be

"someone you know" is superman. they're talking about american boy scout superman. he is an arrogant muscle bound thug for no reason other than because he is a man. and he looks like hades here. i'm so tired-

It’s scary.

Joel lays on his back, no armor, no wings, sinking into the mattress and the pillow, eyes shut.

He’s never done this before. He’s scared.

He sinks into the darkness, exhaustion slipping over him like waves on a shoreline. He blinks.

And there’s six-year-old Joel.

It’s sitting with its legs folded, holding a doll version of Etho in one arm and a fish-Lizzie in the other. There are tiny wolf ears coming out the top of his head. It’s wearing cargo shorts and the yellow life series hoodie. It’s glaring up at him.

“You’re mean,” it says.

Joel sighs, sitting across from it. “I know.”

“You don’t think I’m real.”

“Sorry.”

“You won’t let me talk to Etho.”

“I won’t let you tackle Etho,” Joel corrects. “I’d let you talk to him if you didn’t also want to cling to him and never let go.”

“That’s not just me!” it shouts, “you wanna hug him too!”

We start with this panel!

First off the saturation of the image, we know that wind's outfit is like blue blue. So it's interesting to see it so discoloured. Makes me wonder if this is how wolfy sees generally or if it's just in wolf form.

(Ha you thought I was gonna go straight to the sents right, nope :D)

So we can see 3 colours here. A reddish pink, A purple, and cream? I'm gonna call it cream.

So this confirms something

Three people have had enough contact with this object to leave an impression.

And here we can see two of them

If im understanding this correctly, Red belongs to Sky. The purple belongs to this second figure who I am going to assume is Zelda.

Also who I can assume is Wolfie seeing this red in his eyes. A cool touch!

A visual representation of whose scent he is following I can only assume., which would defo be useful later. For like when we oh I dont know

Go looking for the cream-coloured scent owner?

This is the only frame we see this cream-coloured scent. So I'm gonna call this now and assume that this scent belongs to Angel or djævel. Probably Angel since she's the one we've seen wandering around collecting the hero's items.

I am a little worried as to why Warrior looks worried. Surely he must know about dog scenes. and I feel like Wolfy has proven himself by now as to not be a threat to him.

Unless...

Do you think Warrior noticed Wolfy does not smell the sword handle? And smell the random fabric instead.

A sword handle would have the most intense smell of something right? Because of the sweat. So...

Warrior is wondering and now so am I.

The mix of the colours here is interesting.

(Totally not me zooming in on the coloured lines to see if I can figure out what colours they are made from)

I see mainly that pinky red here.

But something in me wants to say that there's a little bit of cream in here.

You think they are gonna use the sailcloth to find Angel later? That could be cool. Maybe get Wolfy to smell a bunch of items to build a scent profile for Angel so they can go looking for her later?

Everybody loves the idea of werewolves fighting for dominance but have you considered the joy and whimsy of werewolves playing? When we talk about the union of beast and man, I think that ought to encompass more than just carnal hunger. Two massive, hulking lycanthropes dropping into a play bow and smacking each other with their baseball mitt paws, barking and growling and sneezing, running around in circles and nipping each other. Bonus points if they’re a mated pair.

Warriors grumbled a curse under his breath, dragging his feet and trying to keep up with the rest of the group. It was hot, too hot, and for some reason he seemed to be the only one who was bothered by the temperature, although that was nothing new. He overheated faster than the others, this was something he was well aware of, but it seemed the others didn’t even find it to be warm out at all. His head was also pounding, which could’ve been from lack of sleep, but it was really starting to suck.

A ‘boof’ sounded from behind him suddenly, and he whipped around to find Wolfie padding up to him from out of the woods. The sharp movement caused his vision to swim, and he let out an involuntary noise of discomfort. He really didn’t want to have to ask to take a break, but if he didn’t start feeling better soon he might have to.

The wolf jumped up on him, swatting at him with big fluffy paws and huffing.

“Wild!!” The captain called to where the champion was at the front of the group. “Wolfie wants something!! He’s acting weird!”

The wolf growled, jumping up at him again. The wild animal usually behaved much better than this, Warriors didn’t know what had gotten into him. Having known the wolf prior to the group meeting, Wild was the best and figuring out what Wolfie was trying to say, but the now champion just stared at him and shrugged.

“He’s never jumped up on me like that before,” Wild told him.

Wolfie let out a high pitch whine, so loud the rest of the group stopped to look at him. The wolf smacked his head into Warriors’s hip, and the captain stumbled back. With as dizzy as he was starting to feel, Wolfie was going to knock him over if he kept this up.

“Wolfie, stop it.”

The wolf gave him an oddly determined look, and pushed his head firmly into Warriors’s thigh, and it forced him to sit down hard. He let out a startled yell as he went down, and tried to get up but Wolfie went and laid across his legs.

“Captain? Are you okay?” Time called as he walked over.

Warriors was going to answer when a wave of nausea slammed into him and his eyes widened in realization when everything clicked into place. Headache, heat flashes, nausea…

He forgot to eat breakfast….

“You don’t look to good, Wars.” Four frowned, looking at him in concern.

“Did you eat this morning?” Time asked, pulling an orange out of his bag and starting to peel it for him.

Warriors shook his head very slowly, laying down when he suddenly felt worse. Realizing the captain had no plan to get up any time soon, Wolfie got off his legs and came to sit by his head, pressing a cold nose to his neck to check on him.

“You knew,” he narrowed his eyes at the wolf, and Wolfie just sneezed at him, wagging his tail slowly.

Time handed him orange slices one by one, and he ate them carefully, waiting for the sugar to hit him. When he could finally sit upright again, he slung an arm over the wolf to steady himself. Wolfie’s tongue lolled out of his mouth and his tail thumped against the grass.

“Thanks buddy,” Warriors smiled at him groggily, patting him on the head.

“You’re so smart,” Wind cooed, petting the wolf, and the captain laughed at how irritated the animal looked.

After a thirty minute break, they were up and ready to go again, although Wolfie stuck close by the captain’s side until he eventually bounded off into the woods, leaving them for the day.

today I've been going CRAZY. Wolfy's Tim unlocked something dark in me, it started with an RP doodle and it ended with my DND au.

we have half elf paladin Tim, warlock tiefling Jon and firbolg Martin ( still can't decide his class. druid? bard? )

I'm not including a situation where someone might be injured because in that case I'm thinking the bed goes to them by default or they are nominated for it. anyone who wants to be chatty goes to join the living room floor gang.

What are your thoughts and headcanons? Do you have thoughts on how the boys tend to approach assigning beds in inns? Who do the chain choose to sleep near when camping and why? What are their dynamics like when settling down for the night and getting ready for the day?

In "Mirror Vs Open Closet Door: Fight!" by Gintrinsic (here) Four refers to the chain's decision on how to split up between inn rooms as the "Link-per-room ratio" which I find very funny. He, Sky, and Time also talk about their thought process behind why they do or don't want to sleep in a room with some of the others which I find fun and interesting.
