Funniest x files moment is the jersey devil episode when scully goes on a date and it doesn't go well and she has a character development moment about weighing how much she wants a normal life and relationship vs being dedicated to her career and the x files. And then it cuts to mulder looking intently at a drawing of a bigfoot with boobs

There's an episode of The X Files where the guy who really shot JFK and one of the main architects of the scheme to sell out humanity to the aliens wrote a fictionalized autobiography and submitted it to a magazine, and he came *this close* to doing a face turn but decided to keep being evil because the magazine editor changed the ending without telling him

one of my favorite things about the x-files is how it will occasionally focus on scully as a female agent in a boys' club and the ways she pushes against gender norms- to the point where she became a prime example of how on-screen representation can change how viewers see themselves! but then as an actual character she's so prone to passive aggressive jealousy that half of the time when they introduce another #womaninSTEM/law enforcement it'll cut to scully just quietly fuming looking like she wants to kill every other woman in the world in case mulder wants to talk to someone that isn’t her (unacceptable)

Kind of funny that Krycek thought he had thwarted Mulder with the whole trapping him on a ski-lift thing, only to remember that Mulder is, in fact, a fucking lunatic

mulder would livestream, but he only plays the windows space cadet pinball game. his only regular viewers are the lone gunmen, who all share one account. initially byers wanted them all to sign their messages so mulder could tell who was talking but langly never did it and frohike stopped after a week so he's the only one left doing it. jimmy lost account privileges after he subscribed to a bunch of gamer girls to help them through college
