Do you have a favorite X-files moment or scene

It’s funny, since I don’t have a favorite episode, but I actually do have a favorite scene. The second “I had you big time” in Fight the Future makes me scream into my pillow (in a good way).

Why? They’re in Antarctica. Hostile aliens are bursting out of pods, poised to attack. The ship is about to take off. The world is quite literally falling apart around them.

Then Scully stops breathing, and Mulder lays her down on the floor of this collapsing space ship and literally breathes life back into her. And then Scully pulls a Mulder. She makes a joke in a dire situation because why not? What else can you do? “I had you big time” - and then they take a moment to look at each other and smile even though everything is going to shit.

That’s romance. Inject it straight into my veins. I love it so much.
