omg i love your auradon prep hcs! uma and audrey bonding over their anger for mal? YAAAS. audrey meeting harry and gil and being like damn who r these qtpies but harrys flirted with uma 38943 times in the 5 minutes she's spent talking with them so shes like "gil, it is!" b/c hes a big ol' sweetheart and those biceps! audrey aint blind! harry and gil messing with chad is the best thing in the world. you know they would too since chad thinks girls cant be on the fencing team smdh. any hcs?

Audrey would definitely be wary but intrigued at first, because while she might not be on the best terms with Mal, Evie has turned out okay and Jay and Carlos don’t really have anything personal going towards her so she’s seen that the original VK’s aren’t as bad as she’s been told

so when Uma, Harry, & Gil arrive for their stint, she’s less against it. also, potentially less scared around Uma because she wasn’t there at the cotillion and she probably thinks it’s kind of funny ironic that Mal got the same love-spell fiasco done to her as audrey did by Mal’s hand

Harry & Gil room together, Uma & Audrey rooming together is a soft spot of mine tbh and at first Uma’s like “please, not a pretty pink princess” but audrey’s gotten used to?? how VK’s are?? they kinda just leave each other be, and Uma gets a lot less defensive when Audrey asks her random questions (it’s just Audrey being curious bc Uma is…unlike the other vks. she’s not here to fit in)

audrey also warms up to it when Harry & Gil come over a lot (you know they would) bc hey! cute boys in the vicinity, even if they are villians - Harry’s obviously smitten and Uma’s not doing much to stop him so Audrey lets that be, but Gil is Gil and Gil is sweet and handsome and well, Audrey likes the attention 

so somehow along they way they start hanging out a bit more and Chad comes around to try to get her back one night, but Uma just refuses to let him enter the room, and she’s stolen one of the fencing swords and barring his way, so he slinks back, defeated

and Audrey’s just - grinning, because this could actually be the start to a friendship

(they def have midnight ranting sessions about Mal and what she’s done in the past and Audrey feels slightly more vindicated for not being 100% on board with it in the v beginning)

Uma totally gets fed up with the fencing team bc the admin is being slow and not budging, so she just decides to form her own. Lonnie drops and joins, and Audrey & Jane get the cheerleaders behind the new team and basically the combined will-power and stubbornness of all the girls at Auradon Prep gets them established 

and when the boys team asks if they want to join the ‘official’ team, both Uma & Lonnie turn them down. the girls team becomes official in like, the next two weeks anyways and they’re pretty damn pleased

Harry and Gil give Chad so much shit, especially Harry because while Chad is pining away for Audrey, Harry flaunts his flirtation with Uma as a “look what i’m succeeding at that you’re failing at kinda thing” and Uma plays along and that actually is the sole reason they’re so love-dovey half the time in public - it’s just to rile Chad up

Gil adds onto it by either flirting with Uma and Harry, or being really attentive & sweet to Audrey; both work as well

Audrey lowkey kinda forces Uma to spill whether she has feelings for Harry or not, because Audrey herself has kinda been the tagger-on in a relationship (her past one with Ben) and like she sees?? that Uma enjoys the attention and gets annoyed when other princesses and princes try to flirt with Harry (he never truly reciprocates, though)

Uma doesn’t admit it until she has to sit through a lunch where Audrey purposely tries to get Harry to return a princess’ affection and while he’s not having it, Uma pulls Audrey back to their dorm to have a ‘talking to’ except she stops halfway through when she realizes Audrey’s smirking

Audrey is so DAMN SMUG when Uma and Harry get together for certain and Harry is literally so happy and Uma is too but she’s hiding it because she’s got a reputation, damnit. 

She definitely pseudo-takes over the romance part of Harry’s intentions because a) he doesn’t know where the best gift places are, so she kinda has to show him and b) his concept of romance is very non-fitting for Auradon and while Audrey knows Uma probably doesn’t think much of Auradon romance, she’s still going to experience it if Audrey has anything to say about it

and c) Audrey doesn’t have much trust in Harry’s taste because she can’t stand his clothes lmao

Uma and Harry aren’t used to the concept of one-on-one dates, so it turns into Gil, Audrey, and Chad (because he crashes it) all hanging out together and it probably gets on Mal’s nerves but honestly, that’s kind of half the beauty of it to Audrey

idk rn im kinda loving Audrey and Gil having the start of something new in this au, with Harry and Uma playing casual matchmaker in the background as a kind of fun role reversal

but I’m also loving Uma and Harry eventually turning into Sea Three and Audrey just being hella supportive and taking down anyone who has anything to say and having the cheer squad behind her as well

basically, Uma endears herself to the cheer squad even though she can’t stand half the people on it, because Audrey kinda makes them go to all the competitions and nobody has been able to see Uma in fencing/swordfighting action without at least being a little impressed

“Pretty Lost Dolls” (Pretty Little Dolls #2) By: Ker Dukey and K. Webster – Book Review

*If you have not read Pretty Stolen Dolls this review may contain spoilers.*

Yaaas! So much freaking yes to this book. I absolutely adore Pretty Stolen Dolls, but this one took it up another notch. And the cover! I am crazy about this cover. I think it is a perfect representation of Benny. And oh how I love Benny.

Jade has found herself back in the place that haunts her nightmares and with the man who has caused her so much fear. Benny. We learn a lot about him in this book and he was obviously my favorite character. Jade tries to get him talking to learn anything that will help her be free again.

       “You’re not dumb, Benjamin. You know between right and wrong. You know what you do is fucked up. You’re insane and need help.”

       “Don’t try all your cop shit on me, dirty doll. You think you can analyze and diagnose me?”

       Sniffling, she stands and goes to her bed.

       I want her to say something else, but I know she won’t.

       “I do know the difference between right and wrong, but I just like the way wrong feels. It’s an impulse, an urge more intense than anything else.”

Jade is conflicted about what has become of Macy. Who is also a favorite character of mine. She wants to protect her, but she fears too much damage has been done. She doesn’t know how to stop this without hurting her.

            “Do you want to play a game?”

             My heart rate quickens and I shake my head. “Not right now. Maybe when we get home. You could untie me and I’ll take you home with me. Then we’ll play any game you want.”

              She glances around the pink bedroom, a look of pride in her eyes, before settling her stare on mine. “This is my home, silly.” Her brows crash together as she shakes her head and chuckles. “Sometimes you say such stupid things and you’re not even the stupid doll. You’re the dirty doll!”

Jade’s strength is a wonderful trait of hers and even though she was scared and tormented , she remains determined. While she is back in her hell, Dillon is terrified and furious that he let this happen to her again. He is barely eating or sleeping as he does everything he can to find her and make Benny pay.

            My own thoughts feel like my enemy right now and I just want to roar all this anger, remorse, and fear out of me. He took my girl. This motherfucker is going to die.

This story was perfect and just wait till the ending on this thing! Holy cow….This was a five star read for sure. Dark as hell, psycho, sexy, and this whole world was just a blast to be a part of. Books like this is why reading is such a passion for me. I cannot get enough of this.
