How did they meet?

Before Vincent was Autem Imperator he was an associate of the Table, particularly under Gianna/The Camorra. He was close to Gianna specifically and being an associate of the Table meant also being a target due to you know, association. So you know, Gianna got him a bodyguard which was Chidi who previously worked under her! Yayy Gianna out favorite wingwoman ^_^. Admittedly, Vincent didn’t like the idea of a bodyguard because he was still pretty immature in his college years and well, he felt like Gianna was a little too concerned over him which Vincent didn’t like. But still, Vincent was a social butterfly and confided a lot in Chidi and always talked to him since Chidi was practically almost always there for him. I’ve always thought of them as the yapper + listener duo and it’s honestly canon. Chidi did talk, but most of the time he lets Vincent talk and he just listens.

Who caught feelings first?

I always thought it’d be funny to headcanon Chidi as a dense guy, like he’s just doing his job while Vincent is banging on the walls and kicking the air every night in his bedroom cringing at the fact his flirting seemed to go over Chidi’s head. But you know, the universe still makes it’s way!! It took a lot of time for Vincent to actually get over his own ego from not being asked out and he made his feelings be known to Chidi. Although it did take time for Chidi to fully grasp the fact Vincent liked him in another way that wasn’t just being appreciative. And then Chidi started catching feelings and it was like Vincent started to see clarity. And then they started to FU-

What makes them such a good match?

Introvert + extrovert, listener + talker, undying loyalty and devotion that borderlines worship, and they’re both evil. They’re both cocky, and arrogant, and they’re fucking great at it!!

5. Describe their cozy night in.

Most of their evenings are cozy night ins unless they go out for a dinner date or in a museum or on some science seminar or a walk or one of them is stuck at work JDKNFKFKCNGN

They tend to spent a lot of evenings just sitting together in some part of their apartment, watching Klara's favorite shows or reading, maybe kissing a bit or even doing some other things as well. Haha. Toby's not a fan of tv shows but tends to pay attention to them just so it could talk with Klara about them.

Sometimes they do these specific evening where they go sit in their cozy little reading corner they made beneath the stairs (they live in a loft) where they just read together or play board games or cuddle or also watch shows and stuff like that. Basically the whole place is a lazy pillow fort with tons of pillows, several throw blankets and two bean bags. It has two rules: no sex there (it is Supposed to be a comfy quiet place. also there's too much stuff beneath the pillows too which could make it also feel like stepping on a lego) AND no conversations about work. They tend to follow the rules, most of the time. Melody loves to come and lay somewhere near them and they have a special box of treats hidden in the bookshelf. There's also a snack box they refill like every week.

10. Describe their first date.

I think I've mentioned it before but they have two first dates, technically, the first first date being the one where they had just become friends and decided to go study in a cafe they both like during lunch, but instead of studying they just Talked a lot about different things. They stayed there until dinner time and decided to order take away dinner from the same cafe and go continue to Klara's apartment (which is very close to the cafe). There they just talked some more, played video games, talked again, and maybe fell asleep together on Klara's bed bc they both were somehow very exhausted.

As for the actual first date? They went to the same cafe a day after Klara confessed her feelings to Tobias while drunk, and then in the morning talked w it about the whole thing. I do think I should mention, by the way, that they just took a nap after breakfast (who actually believed toby when it said that it did in fact sleep), got ready together and went to the cafe for dinner. Both ordered something nice and picked a nice, quiet spot and just talked about different things, most importantly about basic relationship related things, but also about many other things as well. They both knew each other well already so there was no point of introducing each other and stuff. After the cafe got a bit too crowded & loud, they decided to order hot chocolate and go on a walk by the sea, and ended up sitting on a beach for half an hour, just enjoying the sunset and each other's company. They went to Toby's apartment and just kinda fell asleep on the sofa.

22. What reminds each of their partner?

Toby thinks of Klara every time it sees a gull bc they're her favorite birds and she loves to talk about them a lot. It likes to take a photo and send it to Klara, who will somehow reply with "cute <3" and correctly name what gull it is.

Some other things that remind Toby of Klara are strawberries, journals (he buys her cool ones w smooth paper as gifts), coffee, pillowcases (she likes to buy them), green tea (which once reminded Toby of Jack but not anymore!!!), the moon, forests and fancy pens.

Whenever Klara sees someone read in public or carry a bag from a bookstore, she tends to think of Toby and its book collection. Tobias loves reading and Klara loves to get it the books from its 'to buy' list as gifts :)

Klara also gets reminded of Toby by things like: scent of almond milk (due to the body lotion he tends to use, it has a very faint, relaxing scent of almond milk), golden hour, cats, pretty presentation slides, doodles on post-it notes, sweaters, lattes and croissants.

42. What’s their favorite type of weather to enjoy together? (getting snowed in together, watching thunderstorms, etc.)

They enjoy all kinds of weather! Mostly depending on what they wanr to do, they love sitting at home listening to the rain. They like a partly cloudy day for a beach picnic together. They like occasional long storms that mean sitting home together, working remotely (bc it's not safe to go outside bc of it) and being aware of the other being in the apartment, too, sneaking off for some breaks or complaining about reports they're writing.

51. What’s a non verbal way they say I love you?

There are dozens of them skdkkfkfkfkfkfcn god they love helping each other and getting little gifts or snacks for each other. But if I can be a bit specific, here's some examples hehe <3

Both love to give each other surprise hugs, Klara usually adding a little forehead kiss and Toby saying something nice or also kissing Klara somewhere where it can reach :^) Both also tend to give a little hug before giving the other something like a cup of coffee/tea. Not sure which one of them originally started to do that, but the other picked it up quite quickly and now they're both doing it.

Buying each other mundane things they keep forgetting or haven't had time to buy or refill, like favorite shampoo or snacks. Doing each other's chores. Buying something the other wants.

If we go even more specific, I do want to mention at least these two things hehe :^)

Since Klara tends to wake up much earlier, she tends to get fresh pastries like croissants on her morning run and makes coffee right before Tobias wakes up so they can enjoy their morning coffee together while laying in bed. Sometimes if she has to go to work early, she still makes coffee for him and leaves a cute little note that says something nice (and/or has a cute little doodle of Toby sleeping in bed).

If Klara has a typical work day, Tobias tends to go meet her by the office after the work day's over, often with her favorite smoothie and a danish pastry. If she's coming home late, he either orders her favorite comfort meal or makes something nice for her to enjoy once she gets home. It also tends to wait for Klara to come home just so they can cuddle and spend time together.

Honestly I could probably talk about this forever but. here we go. hehe

• She told Octavio all about what happened and he was STEAMING with rage, he then proceeded to call her over to octo valley, where she gets to meet the squid sisters for the first time and Octavio gives her a whole bunch of weapons as self defense gifts (and a biiiiig hug and kiss 💝)

• Cut to splatoon3, she’s doing just fine and laid back a little more now that’s she’s out of the constant attack trauma! (Idk if she went to counseling or not, she shouldve—)

• She signed up for the new squid beak splatoon because she wanted to do something meaningful with her life as to not feel like canon fodder (looks like the trauma didn’t completely fade off 😰)

• Craig is real happy to see the youngin brave enough to step into new grounds again!

• He did NOT tell Octavio

• She goes through the kettle levels and in her head is like “y’all fell off,,,,,”

• Once she gets to Octavio boss fight she remembers him drunk at an agent reunion (they’re all one big found family 💝) saying “if I ever see you with a weapon in hand *hic* we gon FIGHT!!” And she thought nothing of it

• until they, indeed, fought

• She’s confused on why he came to fight so early, then he says he’s not so sure why either and is trying to figure out who took over his turf, and then they fall to alterna

• She hears faint laughter from the top as she falls to look up and see 3 shadows, new enemies...?

• she wakes up in the fake snow and makes her way to,,, THE SQUID SISTERS??????

• Deep cut is constantly like “why is she looking at us like that”

• Agent 8 is in LOVE with all the human lore Orca has to offer and she considers him her favorite bot

• Agent 8 fights all the Deep Cut members and tears their shit UP bro 💀💀

• Goes through more levels yadda yadda

• She hears Craig over the radio “SQUID GRAMPA?!?!—“ “Welcome to your final test, I’m Mr. Grizz” “MR GRIZZ???????”

• After finding out she was betrayed by her boss she is SPEEDRUNNING to get on that rocket and get her 2nd grandpa BACK, Octarian girls with teenage trauma and no counseling don’t take betrayal lightly.

• So we go through the whole get on the rocket, go chase Mr Grizz thing

• Deep Cut help the NSBS out and there is now ambivalence between them and 8

• She goes into space and is like “k shit how am I gonna do this”

“Had a feeling that Mr Grizz figure was up to somethin!” “GREAT GRAMPA!!!!!! 😄💖💝💝💖💝💖💝💖💖💖💝💝💝”

• We fight Mr Grizz we get the good ending yayyyy

• They all go to celebrate,,, after a quick crying session between 8 and Callie,,, and then other agents start crying too because man you can’t be tough forever—

NAUR....this is not how we're starting off....with their lips almost touching because I know damn well Amelia's ass knows that thats lewie atp even if his ass is blind. AND for her ass to be like "you thought I was MC?!?!" GTFOH. look im not giving Lewie a free pass here either you mean to tell me he saw Amelia getting into bed and he cant tell that it wasnt MC?!?! but MC from ACROSS THE ROOM could see that it was both of them.... ughhh why are Roberto and Lewie fighting...now Ozzy has to break them apart and he cant spend time with MC!! So Amelia is gonna take MC away for a chat on the terrace to regurgitate these childhood stories we've already heard before. I wanna know about Prom night!!! and of course theyre still not gonna tell us anything...ugh whatever this is its coming out in challenge atp bc Amelia "cant ever find the time to talk to us about this" I think we couldve done without reliving those childhood memories and she couldve told us about prom then but thats just me.

Obvi immediately running to Ozzy 💖 "there might be someone else catching her eye. or mine" 😏 (side note: I LOVE the realism they added in of Grace watching MC and Ozzy) OZZY KNOWS ZEPH!!! im glad we finally got that confirmed and this is now, the what 8th mention of Zeph?? atp its not a question of if hes coming in but rather when. *diamond choice* basically Ozzy was his backup dancer and he didnt really hang out with Zeph that much but one night they had a deep chat and he told Ozzy about a girl that he made a mistake and just cut her out. he always regretted not giving her closure...Ozzy thinks this was about MC and that Zeph only had nice things to say about MC. Ozzy wants to be a choreographer but he said that this promoter set him back career wise....ITS HIS BROTHER GUYS. MARSHALL IS THE ONE THAT SET HIM BACK CAREER WISE. Im calling it right now. When MC asks him about it he just says it's a long story. And this was all in the middle of when hes talking about his family and how theyre close. and then proceeds to say he's had sibling drama too...."close doesnt always mean perfect"

Ryan chat *diamond scene* Everybody was talking about MC last night...Ryan pushed Roberto to show mc how he felt (even tho I told his ass I was good on Roberto) Lewie asked Roberto to back off (this doesnt make any sense based on what Lewie said about trying to save face...but ok) Roberto said he wouldnt back off and Ryan asked if we thought it was cool for Lewie to be telling ppl were closed off (eerily feels like Molly and Mitchel from this season of LI) We find out that Lewie has trust issues bc one of the players on his team, their gf was making eyes at Lewie...he ignored it but the teammate still tried to get lewie dropped as captain and did it behind his back. Ryan tells us hes into Amelia.

Amelia chat: she's complaining about none of the boys really being into her.. I still think its bizarre were sitting here having a normal convo when she literally tried to kiss Lewie last night but whatevs... EEK she noticed Ozzy was super flirty with us during our chat. "theres something about how he looks at you" 💖🥹 ok all is forgotten re: last night!! i did tell her Ryan was into her bc idc about that man and hes going home tonight anyway lol.

A Year in Time — Chapter III: March

Zhongli never bothered to add Glaze Lilies to his small, quaint garden. He preferred adding both other local and foreign flowers to his little collection—instead of dredging up old memories.

While his "backyard" may be more than tiny, it's enough room for his line of flower pots on the stone around his home. His beloved garden overlooks the vast sea to the east, the blue waves sparkling under the newborn Springtime sun. He likes to believe it's quite a beautiful sight for his lovely flowers.

Currently, he crouches down next to one of the pots, replacing the dirt and planting new seeds for the upcoming warm seasons. He hums an antique tune to himself—one many have forgotten and left in the past. When he completes each pot, he rises to his full height with a proper posture.

Dusting his hands off, he then puts his old, black gloves back on—the Cor Lapis gems on the back glimmering under the sun. He sighs contentedly, crossing his arms as a smile curves his features.

"A lovely day…" He mutters to his flora, his words carried away by the sea-salted wind.

A while later into the afternoon, Zhongli cruises about the market in Chihu Rock—as he often does. Is this perhaps his favorite place in the harbor? It very well could be with its quaint landscape and its busy nature, often flooded with foot traffic. The type of traffic he doesn't mind adding to.

Today, he contemplates purchasing a nice kite for the wonderful breezy weather. For who? Well, himself, but he doesn't need to tell anyone that… He can get away with a white lie or two.

He has a mild fascination with kites—more so their designs rather than their purpose. Humans can be so creative, he thinks, a soft smile on his lips while he observes the myriad of colorfully painted kites that are on display. Some kites are more simple than others, but he's always had a preference for the intricate and detailed things in life.

He points to a mostly white kite—its design is more mature compared to the rest on the table with how the shimmering gold accents flow and dance. It has the visage of a dragon sweeping through a white sky…or at least that's what it looks like to him. He frowns a bit on the inside, he now hopes he doesn't come off as self-obsessed to anyone.

"We sure do run into each other a lot these days, Zhongli." A familiar voice of a woman shatters his thoughts, causing him to whirl around to face none other than his newest coworker.

"Ah, it seems we do, Hauteclaire." He nods in agreement, offering her a tiny and almost sheepish smile before turning back to the table of kites. "Did you need assistance with something?" He glances at her as she plots herself next to him.

"Hardly." Hauteclaire brushes him off, "I was thinking of buying a kite myself, actually… Not for me, mind you." She snorts, amused at the prospect that someone as old and cranky as herself could ever play with toys like these.

"I see. For who, then?" He asks before swiftly purchasing the kite he was intently looking at earlier.

"A kid I saved a while back. He's been adopted since we last saw each other, but I figured I'd give him something to remind him of me. And, well, something to play with, you know." She explains lackadaisically, although a tiny smirk plays at her rusty red-tinted lips.

It's nice to see her relax for once, Zhongli thinks to himself. He knows how hard she works, but it doesn't matter to him how much he can appreciate a sedulous person, he still has his concerns about her health. Although he also knows that she's the only person in the world who can come to her own conclusions. Just as he has.

"How about this…" He begins, catching her attention enough to pull her gaze toward him, "I'll give you this kite for the young child. If you first test it out with me?" He smiles when her own smirk falters, he doesn't regret his proposition even a little bit.

…He just wants to see her take a break like he has. Is that so much to ask for?

"…You're kidding me." She snorts, her lazy smirk quick to rise back to her face. "Yeah, sure, whatever. As long as I don't have to pay for it." To an untrained eye, she remains neutral, but to him, it's obvious how flustered she is right now.

"Perfect." He nods agreeably.

After using some of the leftover money he got from…other sources to pay for it, they end up in his tiny backyard to test out the gilded kite.

Glancing around, Hauteclaire strides up to the red-painted fence and plants her hands down on the wood. She has a soft look of amazement on her face—lips parting and eyes wistful—as she stares out to the vast sea that is Zhongli's next-door neighbor. A salty breeze wafts in, brushing through her thick brown locks. She sighs.

"The weather is ideal, don't you think?" His words derail her train of thought—he's good at being a nuisance like that. Or so she claims.

"Ahem. It is." She clears her throat, forcing her expression to return ice cold. "So, uh… How does a kite work?" She asks, voice lowering in embarrassment.

It's not her fault her homeland hardly had any wind or breeze to speak of. Or anything else, for that matter. It was always barren and cold there.

"Hmm, well… Watch and learn." He smiles as he walks up to her side behind the fence.

He lifts the kite into the sky, allowing it to drift with the strong yet chilly sea winds. He keeps a firm hold on the thick string as his honeyed gaze watches the toy dance in the blue sky. She gasps silently, her own gilded stare watching the kite now too.

"We didn't have toys like these in my homeland… Not that my parents would've ever bought me any." She muses softly, a tinge of embittered hate in her tone when she mentions her parents.

"Where are you from, dear Claire? You've never mentioned it." He asks, glancing at her.

"…None of your business, Zhongli." She scoffs, a small protruding pout on her lips.

"Secretive as ever…" He mumbles, his eyes tearing away to watch the kite again.

For the rest of the afternoon, they chat and have tea after flying the kite for quite some time.

And today was also the day that he learned that she likes her tea with a lot of sugar.

When I first made this blog I had just read stormbringer for the first time and was completely obsessed with Verlaine, partially because I used to love super powerful characters with interesting abilities, and partially because of how interesting he was as a villain and character in general.

What's the story behind your username?

When I first made this blog I was really hyperfocused on Jujutsu Kaisen and since I had wanted to make an anime alt for a while, I wanted it to reflect both of the anime I planned to talk about, so I took Sorcerer's from JJK and Skill Users from bsd and I liked the alliteration. In the end my interest in jjk has kind of gone down, I still really like it, but it's not the same as my life long obsessing with bsd.

(I've been obsessed with this show for like 6 years which is crazy to think about)

how's life?

Overall good, like I said earlier I've recently started Uni, so there's been some really big changes and there's a lot to get used to, but I've got some good friends and am getting more in control of my studying. I'm doing Materials Engineering, which is already a pretty complicated course that's made even harder when you have ADHD and struggle with self study.

But I find it really interesting and have found a lot of good support, so I'm going to make it work somehow
