“Something’s up with her,” Sooyoung muttered with narrowed eyes as she watched their youngest member slip out the door with a smile far wider than usual adorning her lips. Jungeun hummed in agreement, eyes glued to the front door. “Who?” Jinsoul questioned, clueless, receiving a playful punch on the shoulder from Hyejoo. “Yeojin, you dummy,” the youngest in the room scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest. “What do you think she’s up to?” Choerry asked, eyes dancing with curiosity. “Drugs?” Hyunjin pondered thoughtfully, earning immediate shouts in disagreement from all the members. “I was kidding,” she raised her arms defensively, shaking her head in amusement.
“We could always follow her,” Heejin suggested, eyes darting towards their leader in search of approval. “I don’t know, she’s old enough to be making her own decisions now,” Haseul mumbled, gnawing on the inside of her cheek. “Aren’t you even a little curious?” Chaewon spoke, raising her brows. The leader merely hummed, unable to deny her growing curiosity, but still remaining hesitant. “I’m not entirely opposed to the idea,” Kahei provided her input, eager members cheering victoriously. “Oh what the heck, let's do this!” Haseul agreed, everything jumping to their feet and toppling over each other as they rushed for the door.
“Just one small problem,” Heejin mumbled as they awkwardly stopped outside the dorm. “We have no idea where the hell Yeojin is,” Hyunjin finished her sentence with a proud smile. “That’s fine, Sooyoung unnie can just track her phone,” Jiwoo exclaimed with a grin, the mentioned girl nudging her side with wide eyes. “You have a tracker on her phone?” Hyejoo asked as a chuckle slipped past her triangle shaped lips. “She has one on yours too!” Jiwoo blurted out, Sooyoung running a frustrated hand through her hair. “Whatever, lets just find her,” the latter mumbled in defeat, pulling out her phone reluctantly. Everyone pushed and whined as they fought to look over her shoulder, yells of confusion echoing around them at the location displayed on her screen.
“That kid spends all her money on clothes we don’t even let her wear in public, there’s no way she can afford to go to an expensive restaurant like that!” Jungeun yelled, pointing at the screen in disbelief. “She’s probably on a date,” Hyunjin muttered, an alarmingly calm expression plastered on her face. “NO!” Several of the older girls screeched in protest, hands clapping over their mouths. “My child is growing up,” Haseul cried out, wiping nonexistent tears from her eyes. Hyejoo rolled her eyes in disgust at their exclamations, but still scrunching her face up at the thought of Yeojin on a date. “Let’s just go, and if you’re this loud we won’t go,” Kahei ordered, trying to keep her composure as everyone went wild.
Quieting down at the threat, they all began to wander aimlessly through the streets, following Sooyoung’s commands with every turn. There was the occasional grunt or shriek, but for the most part they maintained their dignity. “Are we almost there yet?” Choerry asked with an eager grin, their current map operator responding with a nod. They were all thankful that the restaurant wasn’t far from the dorms, having not thought about the possibilities of it being hours away before rushing out the door. “Is that her?” Jiwoo screeched upon turning a corner, glancing into the large glass window of a restaurant across the street. Jungeun smacks her arm in warning, the volume of the bubbly girl's voice alerting innocent pedestrians.
“Everybody be quiet!” Haseul whispered, silencing the group with her authority. They all stared wide eyed across the road, eyes locked on the easily recognisable Yeojin. “So she really is on a date,” Jinsoul muttered in surprise, squinting in an attempt to make out the mysterious person she was with. “Thank god she’s gay,” Sooyoung placed her hand over her chest, breathing out a sigh of relief. Chaewon snickered the oldest words, shaking her head in amusement. “The girl she’s with looks familiar,” Heejin muttered thoughtfully, leaning forwards to get a closer look. “Heekie you’re gonna get run over!” Jiwoo tugged the younger girl back as a car whizzed by, frowning as she pressed a kiss to her cheek.
“Oh shit,” Sooyoung muttered as she glanced down at her now buzzing phone, Yeojin’s contact lighting up the screen.
~~ You chuckled as Yeojin stared down at her plate of food with a twinkle in her eye, beaming at the expensive variation. “Dating an actress was the best decision I’ve ever made,” she exclaimed with a bright smile, beaming up at you. “I hope you like me for more than my money,” you teased, chuckling at the way she glanced around the restaurant in awe. “Of course not,” she assured, reaching across the table to grab your hand. “Although it is definitely a bonus!” She grinned, digging into the food. “What did you tell your members this time?” You asked with an amused smile, taking a small bite of your meal before focusing all your attention on her. “I managed to escape unnoticed,” she admitted proudly, eyes dancing with mischief.
Shaking your head fondly, you gave her hand a gentle squeeze. “How’s the food?” You questioned anxiously, patiently awaiting her answer. “It’s amazing, I can’t believe you’ve never suggested this for a date night before,” she spoke, reaching over to steal some food from your plate. “I wanted to save it for a special occasion,” you reasoned, playfully smacking her hand away. “It's hard to believe that we’ve already been together for a year,” you commented with a dreamy smile, Yeojin giggling at your expression. “It feels like it’s been longer,” she admitted thoughtfully, running her thumb over your knuckles. “Remember when we first met,” you brought up with a cheeky grin, your girlfriend groaning in embarrassment.
“It wasn’t that bad,” you insisted, laughing as Yeojin began to whine. “You only say that because it wasn’t you who practically forgot how to talk!” She groaned, blood rushing to her face. “I thought it was cute,” you stated, a fond smile tugging at your lips. “You’re the first person I’ve ever been shy in front of,” she confessed, face scrunched up in mortification. “Well I’m just glad you approached me,” you smiled sincerely, eyes crinkling into crescents. “Even though you couldn’t talk,” you added, unable to resist the urge to tease her. “If you don’t shut up I’m going to start regretting making that impulse decision,” she grumbled, narrowing her eyes at you.
“Nope, you love me too much!” You shook your head dismissively, eyes shining with joy. “You underestimate my ability to hold a grudge, Y/n.” Yeojin crossed her arms over her chest, sending you a threatening glare. “Fine, I’ll stop,” you concede, pouting as she turned her head away from you with a faux expression of anger. “Yeojin,” you whined, receiving only a cold glance in response. “I love you~ Please don’t ignore me!” You said her eyes narrowing slightly, the ghost of a smile creeping onto her lips. “I’m sorry for teasing you, but I would also like to remind you that your amazing girlfriend is paying for all this.” You grinned as she finally let up, dropping her arms to her sides. “You’re forgiven, but only because I love you. No more teasing tonight” she said, shooting you a warning glare.
Digging back into her untouched plate of food, she noticed you began to grow uncharacteristically silent. Glancing up, she found your gaze out the window, head tilted in confusion. “What’s wrong?” She questioned, worried by your sudden mood change. “Remember how you said you got out of the dorms unnoticed?” She hummed in agreement, raising her brows as she waited for you to elaborate. “I don’t believe you were as stealthy as you initially thought,” you winced, subtly nodding your head to the right. Following your gaze, her eyes widened in surprise, a groan leaving her lips. The urge to slam her head on the table had never been more strong, Yeojin pulling her phone from her pocket.
“Give a second,” she sent you a tight lipped smile, clicking on Sooyoung’s contact and raising her phone to her ear. She watched as the girl across the street almost threw her phone on the road in a panic before reluctantly picking up. “Hey Yeojin,” Sooyoung greeted, an audible gulp could be heard through the phone’s speaker alongside the hushed chatter of the other members. “Would you care to explain why you’re all staring at me from across the road like creepy stalkers?” She asked, voice sickly sweet as she plastered a faux smile on her lips. “Umm, would you believe me if I said we were on a treasure hunt?” Sooyoung attempted to come up with a lame excuse.
“Am I the treasure?” Yeojin huffed, meeting your concerned gaze from across the table. “Uh, no.. maybe.” Sooyoung winced at her own words. “Yeojin is that Y/n?!” Heejin’s booming voice met her ears, the bunny-like girl’s eyes wide at the revelation. “Yes,” the youngest admitted with little prying, audible gasps could be heard ringing around the group. “You’re dating THE Y/n!” Jiwoo screeched in excitement, everyone wincing at the volume of her voice. “Why didn’t you tell us?” Sooyoung asked with a frown, not liking the idea of their youngest hiding things from her. “Because she’s beautiful and you’re all feral lesbians,” Yeojin explained simply, a surprised cough leaving your lips as you choked on your drink.
“She has a good point,” Jinsoul mumbled thoughtfully. “We’ll can talk when I get home tonight, but for now let me enjoy my date,” Yeojin suggested, sending you a hopeful smile. “Fine, but you’re not getting out of this one easily!” Haseul yelled through the phone, beginning to round up all the members. “Great, now go away,” Yeojin bit back a grin as Sooyoung began to scold her. “Bye!” She exclaimed, hanging up with a sigh of relief. “All sorted?” You asked, eyes swirling with amusement at the interaction, your girlfriend hummed in agreement. “Just in time for dessert!” You exclaimed, chuckling as her expression morphed into one of pure excitement, cheering and clapping her hands as the waiter placed the sweet treats on your table.
“Does this mean that I get to meet your members?” You asked hopefully, eyes shining in anticipation. “I suppose so,” she agreed, nodding her head hesitantly. “Although I’m not sure why you’d want to. You saw how weird they are,” she shuddered at the thought, glancing across the street to make sure they’d actually left. “Yeah, but it’s kinda cute how much they care about you,” you smiled. “Care? More like nosy,” she snorted, watching as your expression fell at her words. “But if you really want to then I can arrange that,” Yeojin gave in, reaching over the table to grasp your hand once more. “Yay!” You cheered, eyes gleaming with excitement. If only you knew what you were getting yourself into.

“Haseul~” you sung, skipping toward your shared room to find the singer flopped on the bed, “woah what happened to you?” You questioned. Your girlfriend rolled off her stomach and laid onto her back, “nothing just exhausted from busting a leg at practice today.” She nonchalantly replied, you simply let out a small giggle.
“I was wondering if you wanted to go outside on a date but crashing in bed works too” you smiled, jumping on top of her, “ow y/n a warning of you doing that would’ve been nice” she whined, wrapping her arms around your torso securely.
“Is a warning really necessary?” You asked causing a nod from the girl under you. You ran your fingers through her hair comfortably, “whatever, anyways wanna tell me what you did at practice that caused you to be dead on the bed?”
She sighed, “well we barely got a break the whole time we practiced then Jiwoo dragged us to the mall, I was gonna get you a bracelet only but because you and Yeojin have a strange addiction toward collecting stuffed animals she urged me to get the same one she was getting for you.”
You laughed sitting up, “it is not a strange addition! now what animal is it?”
“A frog, so you could not only think of Haseul unnie but me as well.” She mimicked Yeojin’s words from the mall several hours ago.
You looked skeins and saw a blue bag near the dresser that suddenly caught your eye, how did you not notice it?
Getting off of your girlfriend you picked the bag off the dresser and smiled at the frog, picking it off the bag along with the bracelet she had brought for you. “Aw babe this is cute, thank you” you blushed wrapping it around your wrist, “gonna wear it like my life depends on it.”
Haseul chuckled at your response, “you don’t have to wear it like that.”
You smiled, setting the frog near the collection of stuffed animals you had, not without noticing a sweatshirt sprawled out on the floor from your girlfriend coming back home an hour ago. “Haseul I’m surprised you threw your sweatshirt on the floor, usually your all about cleaning up after yourself.” You picked the sweatshirt off the floor.
“Must’ve been really tired huh?” You slipped the sweater through your wrists with a huge smile plastered on your face, looking at the mirror, “it’s cute.”
“It is, but it’s not yours” Haseul grinned, “you didn’t even ask if you could wear it.”
You hugged yourself, "well, can I wear your sweater? It smells like you, I can't promise to give it back though."
You watched Haseul fall back into the mattress, “there goes my next sweater.” “Hey!” You frowned, crashing onto the bed again, “your acting like I hold your sweaters hostage or something.”
“That’s because you do darling” she said caressing your cheek with her thumb lovingly, “you steal every sweater of mine that you see.”
“Someone else’s sweater is more comfortable than wearing your own, especially if it’s your girlfriends.” You protested.
“Plus it’s not stealing if I asked!”
Haseul laughed, “I never said yes though.”

˗ˏˋ late nights w jinsoul ´ˎ˗
Tumblr media
ever since you moved you needed an escape
whether it was crying into your pillow at night, sleeping at all times, or drowning your feelings out with music
you were always just running away from something
your new method of escaping was sneaking out of your house at around 2 am and making your way to the small 24 hour convenience store by your house
you’ve done it about 4 times now
and everytime you came into the store
you were greeted by a friendly blonde girl with a nametag with the name “jinsoul” on it
you couldn’t help but converse with the girl while grabbing your items
usually a soda and a bag of chips
tonight it was nothing different
you walked into the door, a bell ringing behind you
jinsoul looked up from the magazine she was reading and waved at you
you smiled at her and walked over to the coolers
where you picked out the drink you always got
“so how was your day today?”
“hm... it was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. i just came down because i was craving chips”
“gotcha, gotcha.”
you nodded while picking up a bag of chips and making your way to the counter
after reaching the counter you took your wallet out and pulled out exactly $4.24, the total of both the chips and the soda
jinsoul put her head on her palm which was already rested on the counter
she took the money and put it into the register
“do you think i could ever see you outside of the store?”
you looked up at her and nodded, confused at what she was hinting at
“nice... y’know i saw a commercial for this one movie thats coming out, would you.. wanna go with me?”
you picked up your items and nodded at her
“sure, you can take my number and i can see when i’m free”
she smiled and took your number
then watched you walk out the door
you guys planned to see the movie that friday
and when that time came around
she was there early and sitting on a bench in the movie theater
but when you got there she complimented your shirt
bcs she was used to seeing you in your pajamas ofc
she stopped talking when the lights dimmed in the theatre
it was a scary movie
so she ended up flinching and holding onto her jacket which she was using as a blanket
she looked so relieved when the movie was over
when you guys were walking out of the theater
she asked if you wanted to see her again
and if you thought you had romantic feelings for her
“jinsoul.. i think i’ll need some time to figure that out. i think you’re cool. you let me vent to you, and i appreciate that. i just think i need to sort out some of my own issues before i put myself out there, y’know”
jinsoul took it really well
and she was really sweet about it
she said she’d wait for you
and give you all the time you needed
you walked her home
you guys ended up going on multiple late night walks
when jinsoul’s boss was gone
and you then realized
she gave you all the time you needed
you also realized she was the only thing you weren’t trying to run away from
and that you wanted to be there with her 24/7
fuck.
you had a crush on jinsoul.

“Stop moving so much, you’re going to smudge all of my hard work”, Yeojin scolds you.
You mumble an apology before stretching out your hands once more.

List 1 promt 16 & 17 with LOONA (and maybe a reader?) Thank you💕
Loona / Halloween Prompts
16. “I told you guys this Ouija Board wasn’t a good idea.” + 17. After deciding to conduct a test of courage, a group of friends ends up lost in the woods with an unknown animal hunting them.
Admin Kiwi
A/N: I used their real names in this (for the most part). Also this is long as heck but I hope you all enjoy!
Warnings: This is another horror-themed prompt. No happy ending here. If you don’t like horror, then I’d suggest you skip past this one.
Tumblr media
A full moon hung above the woods, casting shadows down against the girls’ faces as they looked up at the mouth of the trees. It was past midnight now, deep into the night, and the woods had never been so dark. Even the flashlights seemed to falter at the sight.
“So are we going to go in?” Sooyoung turned, her long hair flowing down her shoulders as she looked out at her twelve friends, flashlight sweeping over them, looking all too excited with her grin. Biting your lip, you took another look at the woods. This hadn’t seemed so bad when she’d first suggested it, but now….
“Do we have to?” Jiwoo squeaked, holding her flashlight close and Jungeun’s arm even closer. She looked pale in the moonlight, eyes wide as they darted from the woods to Sooyoung and then back again.
“Don’t chicken out on me now. Come on, we all agreed on this!”
“I agree, I think it’ll be fun to see who runs out first,” Hyejoo said, stepping forward to join Sooyoung at the front of the group. After a moment’s hesitation, Chaewon joined her.
With a sigh, Haseul shoved her hands into her pockets and stepped forward as well. “Why not, what’s the worst that could happen?”
“I can think of a few things,” Jinsoul said, but the girls ignored her. Yeojin, sporting a grin, grabbed Vivi’s arm and skipped up to join the other girls.
“Don’t back out just because you’re scared the youngest will out last all of you.”
“Oh, you’re on,” Hyunjin said, crossing her arms despite Heejin’s squeak of protest behind her. “You have the goods, right (Y/N)?” At her question, you nodded and held up the box holding the Ouija board.
“Yeah, but I’m not happy about it.”
“Let’s get a move on, then,” Sooyoung said, ignoring you and clapping her hands. “We don’t want to be out here all night.” With that, she turned and headed into the woods, not an ounce of fear in her. As you followed the group in, you looked up at the full moon one last time. Well, there were thirteen of you there. With that many people, you would all be safe. Right?
The inside of the woods was dense and dark. You’d walked around the woods during the day, and even then, it was spooky. But at night, there was an even heavier vibe. The trees blocked out most of the light coming from the moon, and everyone had to train their flashlights at the path as to not trip over any vines or rocks. Every few steps, something would brush up against your arm, but you tried to ignore it, hoping that it was just branches from trees or bushes. Jiwoo, up ahead of you a few paces, squeaked every few steps, prompting laughter from Yeojin. Somehow, the youngest didn’t seem at all scared. Next to you, Yerim took your arm, clutching at you tightly.
“Where’s the clearing you were talking about? ‘Cause all I see right now is trees,” Jungeun complained, kicking at a rock and sending it skittering into the bushes, much to Jiwoo’s dismay.
“It should be right up ahead,” Sooyoung said, squinting into the dark. “It feels further away since we’re moving so slow.”
“Oh, there!” Yeojin pointed, and everyone turned to look. Through the trees, there was a small sliver of light. An opening.
“Sweet, we’re here!” Picking up her pace, Sooyoung all but ran towards the clearing, pushing a few branches out of the way. Not wanting to be left behind, you followed with the rest of the girls, trying not to get scratches on your arms as you pushed away the branches and followed her through.
Sure enough, there was a clearing. It wasn’t huge, but it was big enough to fit thirteen people. The ground was slightly overgrown, and stumps of trees could be seen under the tall grass and vines. But for some reason, no trees had grown back, leaving the clearing open to the light of the moon.
“You know, some people say this place was used by cults or witches back in the day,” Hyunjin said, a grin on her face as she sat down on one of the stumps.
Whimpering, Heejin shoved her shoulder. “Shut up! You’re just saying that to scare us!”
“No, I heard the rumors too! Why else would there be a random clearing out here in the middle of the woods?” Sooyoung sat down across from Hyunjin and spread out, much too comfortable in the middle of the woods. “It’s got to be cult stuff.”
“We’re here for the cult stuff!” Yeojin called, loudly enough to make the girls around her jump. Groaning, Yerim slapped her hand over the other girl’s mouth.
“Shut up!”
“Whatever, I don’t believe in that stuff,” Haseul said, shaking her head. “Let’s just get this over with.” She sat down on one of the stumps, wrinkling her nose in disgust, and the rest of the girls followed her lead, sitting on stumps or rocks or whatever else the could find. The moon seemed to be directly overhead now, and you looked up at it for a moment, feeling something sink in your stomach. That was weird….
“(Y/N), pass me the Ouija board.” Yeojin held her hands out, her loud voice shaking you from your thoughts. With a sigh, you handed it over, happy to be rid of it.
“I’m not sure how I feel about this….”
“Not you too, (Y/N)!” Sooyoung pulled her hair back, grinning once again. “It’s Halloween, you have to do stuff like this!”
“But playing with an Ouija board in cult woods?” Jinsoul gulped as she looked around. “Isn’t that a little too much?”
“There’s nothing in these woods,” Jungeun said, exasperated. “Let’s just get this over with. I’m pretty sure I have at least five bugs crawling on me at this very moment and I’m ready to go home.” At her words, Jiwoo whimpered and brushed at her legs frantically, face scrunched up in a way that would be cute if you weren’t too preoccupied thinking about the moon to notice it. Even Hyunjin looked a little squeamish at the mention of bugs, her face turning white as she brushed at her legs.
“You ladies are wimps,” Yeojin declared, slamming her hands down onto the prepared board. “Now are we going to do this or not?”
“There’s no way all of us can do it. The board isn’t big enough,” Vivi pointed out.
“Then half of us will do it. I know I’m going to do it and so will Sooyoung and Hyunjin. Who else?”
After a moment’s hesitation, with everyone looking at each other, Hyejoo stood up and dragged Chaewon along with her. “We’ll do it.”
“Me too,” Jungeun said, making Jiwoo squeak in protest. Still, she managed to wiggle out of the other girl’s grasp to join the girls at the board. Whimpering, Jiwoo grabbed Jinsoul’s arm instead.
“I’ll do it too, I guess,” Vivi said with a sigh, getting up. “That’s enough people, right?”
“(Y/N), are you sure you don’t want to play?”
“I’m good, Yeojin.” You shook your head hard enough to startle Yerim at your side. “Just watching is enough for me.”
“Alright, then let’s get started!”
Chaewon jumped, looking up with wide eyes. “Wait, do you know how to play this?”
“I do,” Sooyoung said, placing her hands on the planchette. “I’ll be the questioner. Come on, gather in close and try to make sure your knees are touching each other in a circle.”
“Okay….”
“Now.” She paused for dramatic effect, making Yeojin groan.
“Hurry up!”
“Okay, okay! Now, let’s move it in a circle to warm it up. Blah blah blah, I’m only allowing good spirits to communicate with us. Hello to whatever is out here in these cult woods. Can you say hello?” Some of the girls hissed in opposition to her choice of words, but she shushed them, making them all be quiet. For a moment, nothing happened. Yeojin opened her mouth, probably about to say something snarky, when the planchette finally moved. She snapped her mouth shut, watching with everyone else as it slowly crept across the board.
Yes.
“Well,” the youngest said slowly. “I guess that’s kind of an answer.”
“It actually moved,” hissed Jinsoul, her eyes wide, making Jiwoo whimper again and bury her head in the other girl’s shoulder.
“I hate this!”
“Who are you?” Sooyoung asked, grinning again. You shivered, leaning into Yerim. For a moment, nothing happened again. But the girls waited patiently, until the planchette began to move.
“Is that an A?”
“Shh, Yeojin, shut up!”
Adam.
“Who the hell is Adam?” Hyunjin asked, glancing around. “That’s such a boring name.”
“Don’t be insulting,” Haseul said, nudging the girl’s back with her foot. Heejin was clutching onto her arm, eyes glued to the board and face white. “I’m pretty sure that’s against the rules.”
Shifting, Vivi looked at Sooyoung. “What else should we ask it?”
“Umm. How about this. How long have you been here?”
“Ooh, that’s good and spooky!”
“Yeojin, I swear.”
“Hey, shut up, the thing is moving again!” Hyejoo’s voice made everyone look back at the board. Sure enough, the planchette was moving again, faster this time.
600 years.
“I don’t like that one bit!” Yerim shook her head. “No ghost is that old!”
“You never know,” Sooyoung said, but Haseul shook her head.
“Seriously, I’m not sure we should be-.”
Yeojin interrupted her, not listening. “Ask it another question!”
“Okay. Why are you here?” There was no hesitation this time.
Hungry.
Everyone froze. Slowly, Vivi turned back to look at Haseul. “Uh. That doesn’t seem good.”
“I told you guys this Ouija board wasn’t a good idea!” Jinsoul threw up her free hand in frustration. “We should go, come on!”
Voice tight, Hyejoo called out. “Hey, it’s moving on its own again.”
Devour, devour, devour, 600 years, devour, devoured them, devour you. Hunt.
The moon was directly overhead now, bathing the clearing in pale moonlight as all thirteen of you sat frozen in terror. Everything was silent. Not even wind rustled through the trees. You felt as if you couldn’t breathe, eyes stuck to the board, heart pounding in your chest.
Sooyoung sucked in a deep breath. “I’ve never seen it do that before.”
“Say goodbye!” Jungeun was pale now too, turning to hiss at Sooyoung. You could see her shivering. “Say goodbye now, we need to go!”
“Right!” Sooyoung pulled on the planchette, and then her eyes went wide. “It won’t move.”
“Don’t fuck around,” Hyejoo said, shoving the piece. It moved, finally, flying towards goodbye. As soon as the piece hovered over “goodbye” a gust of wind ripped through the clearing, tearing the board from the hands. Screaming, the girls jumped up, the planchette still clutched in Hyejoo’s hand.
“D-did we close it?” Yeojin asked, looking scared for the first time. As if to answer her, a low, guttural growl echoed through the woods, accompanied by the snapping of branches. You turned to look at Yerim beside you, your mouth dry, body stuck in place.
“Run!” Haseul screamed, just as another growl came from the forest, and finally, your legs moved. You scattered with the other girls, leaving the board there as all thirteen of you tumbled into the woods, moving as fast as your legs could carry you.
-
You weren’t sure when it happened. It was only when you stopped to catch your breath, leaning up against a tree, that you noticed it was only you and Yerim, clutching at your hand. Your eyes widened and you stood up straight, frantically looking around.
“Where did the other girls go?”
“I don’t know.” Yerim was crying, tears screaming down her face as she coughed, gasping through her sobs. “T-they were all right here, and then…. We must have taken a wrong turn or something.”
Terror gripped your chest as you squeezed her hand, shaking from head to toe. The moon was gone and the woods were black, so dark your flashlight didn’t even help. Every tree looked the same, and the two of you weren’t even on a path anymore. For the last few minutes, the two of you had been tripping over bushes and rocks. Your stomach sunk as you had to accept the truth. The two of you were lost in the woods, separated from the rest of the group. You tried to rack your brain for solutions, but you couldn’t think. Your brain felt… fuzzy. Faint.
A growl shook the trees and you heard a shrill scream that sent chills down your back. You didn’t want to think of who that might be, yanking on Yerim’s arm to get her to run again. “Come on, we can’t stay here!” You didn’t know what was out there, in those woods. You only knew one thing: you couldn’t let it catch you.
-
“Vivi!” Haseul stood frozen in place, her flashlight shining up at the trees. She didn’t know when she’d lost the girls, or when she and Vivi had gotten separated from the group. But not even a minute ago, she’d heard a snap and a thump behind her, the light from the other girl’s flashlight going awry. And when she’d turned around…. “Vivi, oh my god!”
The oldest girl’s body hung suspended from the trees, vines wrapped around her neck. Her eyes were wide, body limp, blood dripping down from a mark on her shoulder where something had torn at her clothes. Letting out a scream, Haseul scrambled forward, with every intent to climb the tree and try to get Vivi out, but the crunching of leaves stopped her in her tracks. She wanted to run, wanted to cry, wanted to scream again.
But she couldn’t.
Against her own will, her body turned around. Standing there in the light of her flashlight was a creature she’d never seen. It looked like an animal, horns protruding from its head, but stood on its hind legs, red eyes peering at her. As she stared, unable to move, its red eyes dug into her head and it bared its teeth, slobber dripping from its mouth. It stalked closer, hoofed feet stomping against the ground, and she couldn’t pull herself from its gaze, even as its human-like hand reached up and wrapped around her neck.
Her breath cut off as it lifted her off the ground, long nails digging into the back of her neck. As spots of black clouded her vision, she saw it open its mouth. Then her world went black.
-
“That scream! That was Haseul!” Hyunjin stopped running, despite Heejin and Yeojin pulling at her from either side. Up ahead, Hyejoo and Chaewon stopped as well, gasping for breath. “Was she calling for Vivi?”
“Do you think…?” Yeojin couldn’t even bring herself to finish the sentence, her eyes wide and her hand gripping Hyunjin’s tight enough to make it go numb.
“Should we go after her?” Hyejoo asked, shining her flashlight in the direction of the scream. Chaewon, beside her, let out another sob and crouched down onto the ground.
“We should have never done this! We’re so lost, we’re never going to get out of here!”
“Don’t say that!” Heejin was clearly panicked as she stomped her feet. “There’s no way we can go help her, we’re no match for whatever thing is out there, we’re just people, we can’t-.”
“We have to at least try! We can’t just let our friends die,” Hyunjin snapped, yanking at Heejin’s hand. “What if-.” A growl cut her off, followed by a howl. Wind rushed through the narrow space and she felt goosebumps well up on the back of her neck. All thoughts of saving her friends left her mind. Somehow, she knew she couldn’t do it. “Run,” she said instead, rushing forward, but Yeojin went limp in her hand, and Hyejoo screamed.
Slowly, Hyunjin turned her head. A figure loomed in the dark, holding Yeojin up by the back of her jacket. Her eyes were wide and glazed over, her body limp, and blood was spilling over from her shoulder, seeping through her coat and running down her fingertips. She wanted to run, wanted to rip her fingers away from Yeojin’s limp hand, wanted to scream, but the figure had red eyes that dug into the back of her skull and nailed her to the ground.
Heejin dropped her hand, screaming, and ran into the woods. Well, Hyunjin thought, at least she might escape. Struggling to move, she watched as the figure emerged from the shadows and into the light of Hyejoo’s flashlight. It towered over her, some sort of half-animal and half-human creature, slobber dripping from its face as it’s growl shook the ground she stood on. As the creature dumped Yeojin to the ground, Hyunjin summoned all of her willpower to scoop the girl up into her arms, breaking free from the creatures spell.
Her feet felt sluggish and she felt as if she might faint as the creature roared, shaking her to her bones, but she still turned and ran, carrying Yeojin in her arms. Hyejoo and Chaewon had disappeared, leaving her running in the dark, alone, but she didn’t care. She ran and ran, the creature thundering behind her, until her legs wouldn’t carry her anymore and she collapsed, covering Yeojin’s body with her own in a small clearing where the moon peeked through the trees.
There was still some sort of recognition in Yeojin’s eyes as Hyunjin held her, unable to fight the creature as it dug its teeth into her neck. But it faded with the pale moonlight as Hyunjin’s body slumped into the dirt.
-
“Where are we, Sooyoung?” Jungeun’s voice was strangled as she held a sobbing Jiwoo in her arms, looking over at Sooyoung and Jinsoul, who was grasping the other girl’s arm as she swung her flashlight around.
“I-I don’t know. I thought we were headed for the entrance, but we must have taken a turn somewhere. I don’t recognize any of this.”
Jinsoul had been crying silently while they ran, but now she let out a sob and let her head fall against Sooyoung’s shoulder. “I keep hearing screams….”
“This is all because you insisted on coming out here,” Jungeun said, gritting her teeth, and Sooyoung glared back at her.
“You say like you didn’t totally agree with me! Don’t blame this on me!”
“Take a look at our situation right now, Sooyoung! We’ve been hearing screams for a while now, how many of our friends do you think are dead right now?”
“Don’t!” Jiwoo sobbed louder. “Don’t say that!”
“Let’s just keep walking,” Sooyoung said, clenching her jaw and focusing her flashlight on the trail ahead. “At least we’re on a trail.” She stepped forward and, reluctantly, Jungeun followed behind with Jinsoul, a still-crying Jiwoo in her arms.
They had only taken a few steps when Sooyoung stopped, letting out a strange gurgle. The three other girls ran into her from behind, and Jungeun opened her mouth to snap at her, asking why she stopped, but the words caught in her throat.
There, in the light of Sooyoung’s flashlight, lay three bodies.
Heejin’s eyes were still wide open, her arms and legs sprawled out on the ground. A foot away from her were Chaewon and Hyejoo. Chaewon was also staring up at the sky, tear tracks still running down her face, but her arms were still wrapped around Hyejoo, who lay on top of her, only recognizable by her black hair and jacket. Blood puddled on the ground underneath them, and hoof prints littered the mud on the path.
Jinsoul screamed, then slumped to the ground, fainting at the sight. Quickly, Jungeun hid Jiwoo’s face in her shoulder, not letting her see the scene as she tried to process it, stomach turning at the sight. Sooyoung stood frozen, staring at the bodies with her mouth open, struggling to breathe.
“They’re….”
“Sooyoung! Sooyoung, we have to run, grab Jinsoul and-.”
A roar shook the ground just as something slammed into Sooyoung, sending her flying with a crack. Jungeun watched in horror as Sooyoung fell to the ground with a choked groan, a boulder landing on top of her slender body. And then a creature was standing in front of her and Jungeun shrieked, tumbling backwards at the sight.
“What-.” Jiwoo look up, then froze, unable to even cry as the creature stepped over Jinsoul and snarled, red eyes digging into her own. Jungeun grabbed Jiwoo with every intent to run, but something sharp stabbed into her shoulder and she fell to the ground, paralyzed. She watched as the creature picked Jiwoo up, watched as Jiwoo screamed and kicked her legs, grabbing at its hand on her neck, watched as she struggled. She wanted to get up, wanted to run, wanted to try and fight the beast to help Jiwoo, but she couldn’t do anything but watch, waiting for her own turn as her vision fogged over.
-
Your legs could barely carry you anymore as you ran, lungs burning and heart pounding. You had no idea how long you’d been running, only that you couldn’t stop, no matter how many screams you heard. Your face and throat burned from the tears and your hand was numb from how hard Yerim was gripping it, but you kept running with her beside you, pushing your way through trees and overgrown bushes. The woods only seemed to be getting thicker, harder to walk through, when it happened.
Yerim’s gasped as her foot hit a branch, sending both of you tumbling forward through a cluster of branches and onto… a green field? You blinked up at the moon, gasping for air as you tried to process what was going on. The two of you were sat on a field a few feet away from the entry trail to the woods, overlooking the the city.
“We’re out,” Yerim gasped, “we’re finally out, we got out. Now we have to get help.” She jumped to her feet, pulling you up with her, and you stumbled, trying to catch up as she ran down the hill.
At the bottom of the hill, on the trail back towards the parking lot and the city, there was a figure, and you let out a sigh of relief. “Good, someone is there, we can tell them and then-.” The figure moved so fast, you barely caught it. You stopped in your tracks as Yerim let out a gurgle behind you, your heart stopping. No, it couldn’t be, the two of you had gotten out of the woods, this wasn’t-.
A creature with red eyes loomed in front of you, horns blocking out the moon as it boor its sharp teeth and growled. Then, somehow, it spoke, saying something you couldn’t understand, leaning in close with a deep, gravelly voice as if two rocks were rubbing together in its throat, sending a shiver down your spine. You stepped back only to trip over a limp Yerim, sending you sprawling onto the ground. It loomed over you, drool splattering onto your face as it opened its mouth and spoke again, its red eyes leaving you helpless to escape your fate as it chanted, getting close and closer with every word.
“Devour, devour, devour, devour….”

The Heiress and the Body Guard
Tumblr media
A rough outline of a drabble coming soon (hopefully)
Heejin is the wealthy Heiress to Visual Corporation, daughter of billionaire couple, Haseul and Vivi. The duties of being a wealthy heiress include lots of cfs and promotions. Her mothers begin to worry about her safety and promptly decide to hire security guard, Hyunjin, an athletic girl who goes to Heejin's school and is in her year. Vivi picks Hyunjin so that the press doesn't scandalise Heejin being near a big, older man all the time. Haseul agreed to go with Hyunjin because their school is close to Yeojin's and they can pick up Heejin's little sister on their way to work/home.

Coffee Date With Heejin
Tumblr media
A/N: I’m back again and i decided to do this request since i had exams yesterday and i wish i had Heejin to comfort me lololol. This is my first drabble attempt, sorry if it turns out bad, thanks for requesting and hope you like it <3
                              ♥ ♡ ♥ ♡ ♥ ♡ ♥ ♡ ♥ ♡ ♥ ♡
It’s been two weeks since the last time you saw Heejin, your upcoming exams made you lock yourself in your room.
You wished your girlfriend was there but her busy schedule as an idol made it impossible. And you already accepted the fact that you were all alone, stressed and busy studying.
Even though you two were away, Heejin always calls before you go to sleep.
“Y/N, are you alright?” , your girlfriend asked in a sleepy and nonchalant tone, you couldn’t help but cry, breaking down helpless.
The last few weeks you were suffocated with books, you couldn’t take it no more and just wanted to give up. Heejin grew worried, asking you to calm down and wanting to know what was happening.
You could feel in her voice how sorry and angry she was that she couldn’t hug and comfort you. On the spur of the moment, you decided to hang up and turn off you cellphone, after sending a message saying you were fine.
“Open you eyes my princess/prince.” These were the first words you heard in the morning, followed by kisses all over your face.
Heejin was there, right in front of your eyes. Almost instinctively, you hugged her tight, as if it was the last thing you could do.
“You’ll have to let go of me and get dressed right now or i’ll get mad.” You missed her ‘jokes’ and even though you were confused, you decided to do what she told, getting away from these books and closer to Heejin was everything you wanted.
She refused to tell where you were going, saying it was a surprise, she covered your eyes suddendly and that was the first thing you saw after it.
Tumblr media
“You’re going to ace it” You read the letter and look up at a smiling Heejin, receiving a so awaited warm and comforting hug.
You could find peace in Heejin and that morning felt like heaven.

Love Me The Same
(Loona) Im Yeojin x Female!Reader
Summary: Yeojin always had a crush on you, stealing glances with hearts in her eyes. You could only feel your heart drop whenever you caught her in those moments.
A/n: a random two am imagine
Tumblr media
“So when are you gonna stop with those heart eyes and actually pay attention to what I’m saying?”
Yeojin quickly fixed her eyes on her friend, Hyejoo. “Sorry, what were you saying?” She asked with a innocent smile.
Her friend could only groan, “I swear you’re obsessed” Yeojin frowned, “I’m not obsessed!” She quickly defended herself.
“Hyejoo leave the girl alone” Yerim spoke, playfully punching her shoulder.
Yeojin sighed, going back to what she was originally doing.
She couldn’t remember how she got herself into this mess. Her heart could only talk for her, the butterflies that flew around her stomach were always because of you. Yeojin hated being cliché, thinking it was too weird and cringe but something about you made her heart beat out of her chest.
Whenever you were around she couldn’t help but to steal glances at you, watching your lips curve into a smile or whenever you laughed. It was like her serotion boost, and she absolutely loved it.
Of course you two were friends, laughs and teases filled the air whenever the two of you were seated together. The more you hung out the more Yeojin fell for you. Oblivious to her liking toward you until you began noticing the things she’d do.
It became obvious she liked you, and you didn’t know what to do. Did you like her too? Or do feel platonic towards her?
“Hey! Snap out of it, it’s like your staring into her soul” Hyejoo called out, waving her hands around to get Yeojin back to reality. Yeojin shook her head, looking at her and Yerim. “I think I’m obsessed” she spoke, a concerned look in her eyes. “is this a bad thing?”
Yerim laughed, shaking her head. “it’s just a normal high school crush, you aren’t obsessed”
“no I think it’s literal ob-” Yerim covered Hyejoo’s mouth, “You’re gonna scare her Hye, stop it”
“So it’s true?” Yeojin panicked, sitting up straight with her eyes widen. Yerim sighed, “no it’s not Yeojin, she’s just being stupid” later proceeding to flick Hyejoo’s forehead, “stop scaring her”
Just then the bell rang, students immediately got up from their seats and ran to the cafiteria, excited to finally get a break from education.
Hyejoo grabbed her backpack “Well where are we gonna go this time? It better not be the field again by the way” she said looking at Yeojin, who quickly looked down, remembering how she forced her friends to come with her when you were practicing running on the track.
Yerim rolled her eyes, “let’s just go to the cafiteria, the group is probably waiting for us”
..
“So are you gonna confess or not?” Jiwoo whispered, leaning towards Yeojin, “you seem to be staring at her a lot”
You were also sitting at the same table, since you and Yeojin were apart of the same group. You laughed at Haseul, who kept showing everyone the way her dad bowls.
Yeojin looked at Jiwoo, with a shrug she spoke “I don’t know if I should, still deciding” lightly laughing at her words.
She suddenly felt upset, the question of whether she’d confess or not was always thrown at her. She hated knowing that she can only stare at you from afar, only imagining how it’d be being with you.
She’ll either have to tell you or continue what she’s been doing for months now.
You glanced at Yeojin with smile, but inside you felt your heart breaking into pieces. You knew she was thinking about you, from the way Jiwoo kept sending you looks and her eyes landing on Yeojin in the process.
“Hey are you okay?” You asked, tugging on her arm. She was spaced out whilst looking at you, “Yeojin?” You spoke again.
“I got it” Hyejoo smiled, walking towards Yeojin and clapping her hands infront of her “IM YEOJIN EARTH TO IM YEOJIN” she shouted, earning shushes from the other members.
She laughed, sitting back down. “seriously what has gotten into you AND Yeojin today” Yerim said making Hyejoo immediately scoff.
Yeojin jumped, startled by Hyejoo’s loud voice. She quickly glanced at you and nodded “yes yes I’m okay” she lightly smiled, her heart fluttering at the way you looked at her.
“Actually” Yeojin paused, sighing for the ninth time. Her stomach flipping from getting nervous “can I talk to you for a second?” She asked you, which made you nod “of course!”
The two of you got up and walked towards the field, where the sun shined bright making you squint your eyes. “Let’s go under a tree” you grabbed her arm and led her to shade, so you could properly look at her.
Yeojin looked at the grass, fiddling with her fingers. She was afraid of rejection, but she couldn’t take it anymore. It was bothering her how she had to keep this from you, but she didn’t want to ruin the close friendship you two had.
But it was now or never.
“Y/n I like you” Yeojin blurred out making her slap her hand on her mouth, shocked at how she straight forwardly spoke. You stood still, you knew this was going to happen. Your heart raced, not from her liking you but because you had to reject her.
Yeojin quickly swatted her hands, seeing you deep in thought. “you don’t have to like me too, I understand if you don’t!”
You frowned, nodding at her words “Yeojin, I’m sorry” was all you could say before pulling her into a hug.
Yeojin couldn’t hold it anymore, wipping her tears away with her sleeve, as she held onto you, sniffling and devastated from rejection. She knew you didn’t like her, she sensed it from the bottom of her heart that you wouldn’t love her the same.

Gummy Butterflies and Glittery Hairclips | Son Hyeju (Olivia Hye)
a/n: this was a request and it was supposed to be a drabble but...i had too many ideas all at once. i'm really hoping i can start posting things again regularly and jumping back into writing more. i have a lot planned, not even just what's on my posting scheudle. so, i hope everyone sticks around to see what's to come! i hope you enjoy this, too, and let me know what you think or want next! :)
leave your thoughts: here
my other writing: here
word count: 7,051 words
————————————————————————–
“Are you even listening?” The question was sharp and pulled Hyeju out of her daydreams. Blinking rapidly, her head turned and she was faced with a disappointed-looking Yerim and two giggling girls, Chaewon and Yeojin. Hyeju slowly realized that Yerim must have been explaining something, otherwise her face wouldn’t look so pinched and annoyed. “What were you even staring at?”
“She was oogling the cheer squad again.” Chaewon whispered, earning a sharp jab from Yeojin and a glare from Hyeju. “What? I’m not wrong, am I? You’re always staring at them, Joo. The gay is absolutely oozing out of you when you stare.”
“I was not staring!” Hyeju tried to defend herself, but her blushing cheeks gave her away. Yerim could only sigh and hang her head.
“Moving on! You’re still coming with us to the party at Heejin’s house, right? This is the first time we’ve ever been invited and I don’t want to miss out.” Yerim launched into her spiel once more about matching outfits and getting the makeup right. Hyeju was half listening, her focus starting to land back on the cheer squad practicing not far from where the four of them sat. Chaewon hadn’t been lying when she claimed that Hyeju was staring, but it was a mystery as to just who she was staring at. They figured it was the squad as a whole, but Hyeju was only focused on one particular figure jumping around in a thin white tank top.
It was the girl that Hyeju had been secretly pining after since the third grade. The same girl who picked Hyeju to draw portraits of in fifth grade when no one wanted to work with the scary-looking girl. The same girl who played Juliet to Hyeju’s Romeo in their sophomore English class in high school and made Hyeju’s heart flutter. It was as if she really meant the words and heart eyes she had on while reading the lines directly to her. And it was now the same girl, the one Hyeju had known since they were kids, that was practicing her cheer moves for the first football game of the season for their university. Her name was Y/N, and it made Hyeju clam up and relax all at once to hear her soft voice and light laughter.
Just as she began to daydream about a life where they owned dogs together, Hyeju was smacked with a notebook. Jumping, her eyes were wide as they landed on Yerim, who was glaring once more.
“Just show up at my house on Saturday, Hyeju. We’ll take care of everything.” Yeojin giggled and they split up at the same time cheer practice ended. Hyeju lost sight of Y/N when she looked back, sighing and gathering her things to head to her dorm for a quick nap. She planned to get a good nap in before having to jump into assignments. She planned to get those done, at least as many as her brain could handle, and then relax with some food and a show she wanted to binge-watch. Which show should she watch tonight, she wondered as she adjusted to strap of her bag on her shoulder. She was entirely lost in her fantasy, her mind beginning to wander into the shows that she could show to Y/N once they adopted their third dog.
At least, that was the trajectory of her imagination until she ended up on her ass with people giggling at the unfortunate incident. She could see one of her notebooks splayed out with the handouts laying everywhere across the concrete. Hyeju only blinked at the mess, her eyebrows furrowing deeply as she looked to the other person involved. And she really was going to lay into their ass, truly. Hyeju did not have the ultimate resting bitch face for nothing. She was intimidating and scary and she would be damned if she let this person get away with hindering her progress to a nice nap.
“What the fuck? Watch where you’re-”
“I am so sorry! I totally wasn’t paying attention, completely my fault!” It was the soft voice that silenced Hyeju completely and when her eyes landed on the other person that was scrambling to gather what Hyeju had dropped before focusing on gathering her things, she realized just who had run into her. “I’m such an airhead! I was staring at the trees and was thinking about what plants I could find at the garden center tomorrow when I went and I wasn’t looking where I was going. I’m so sorry! Are you okay?” Y/N held the notebook tightly to her chest, leaning close to Hyeju’s face before her mouth formed a small ‘o’ shape and she was smiling. “Wait, Hyeju? Is that you?”
“O-Oh, Y/N. Nice to see you again. How have you been?” Hyeju tried to be nonchalant, totally scrambling to get up on her feet once she noticed Y/N doing the same. Standing up so close to one another, Hyeju nearly groaned at the height difference. She was so small, it was so cute. If she just wrapped her arms around Y/N and held her tightly her face would be all smooshed up against-
“I’ve been good! Just super busy with practices and stuff for the cheer squad. And my classes, of course! What about you? I haven’t seen you in a while but you don’t look much different. Still beautiful as always.” Y/N giggled and if Hyeju didn’t know her, she would’ve thought she was flirting. The sad truth, that left a bittersweet smile on her face, was that Y/N was always overly friendly like that. She always threw compliments around and Hyeju knew that she shouldn’t take it that much to heart. Y/N was by no means a bitch and never meant her kind words, but Hyeju knew better than to think it was an invitation to flirt.
Hyeju nodded, affirming she’d been well, too. It grew silent between them, the conversation running dry and Hyeju began to panic for a moment. She didn’t want to leave Y/N so soon, her nap completely disappearing from her mind now. She cursed her awkward and introverted nature in providing adequate conversation skills when Y/N cleared her throat.
“Are you going to be at the game this Saturday?” Y/N suddenly asked, her cheeks looking flushed but Hyeju was convinced it was just from practice. There was no way they could look so perfectly pink from asking if Hyeju would be at the game. It was the wind, though Hyeju just noticed that it wasn’t really windy at all after she thought of it. “It’ll be my first game on the squad! Would be great to see a familiar face in the crowd and all.”
Normally, Hyeju would never be caught dead at such an event. Sports were a mortal enemy to her and she could never understand the hype for them. Yet, she found herself quickly nodding in response and smiling so big, Hyeju knew her smile looked fake and so cheesy. “Of course, I’m going! Sports are super cool and I can’t wait to see you out there! You’ll do great, of course.” Hyeju chuckled nervously, and she was thankful that Y/N didn’t catch on to it. Instead, Y/N thanked her and had to run so Hyeju was left to her own company much sooner than she wanted.
“What is wrong with me? ‘Sports are super cool’? I think I need a drink instead of a nap.” Hyeju made a disgusted face before pulling her bag tighter to her body and heading off to her dorm for her nap or a drink, whichever found her first.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Music thumped softly in the background as chatter filled the air of the nature-filled bedroom. Yerim’s room was always calming, a perfect setting for studying and for getting ready for parties. Hyeju always loved sitting in Yerim’s room and just enjoying the atmosphere it gave off. She just wished it could distract her thoughts from a certain cheerleader. She hadn’t gone to the game like she’d promised Y/N she would, so she felt a little guilty about that. Not enough to be crying and seeking out forgiveness, because she genuinely hated sports. It was enough, though, to have her mind completely occupied by the cute cheerleader in her uniform possibly looking for her among the crowd.
Her thoughts were running in all directions until a soft click on the side of Hyeju’s head brought her attention back to the present. Chaewon’s face appeared in the mirror that Hyeju had been sitting in front of for the past twenty minutes. Chaewon backed away from Hyeju, looking proud of her creation. “You’re finished! A masterpiece, I must admit.”
She grabbed a smaller mirror to hand to her impromptu client and Hyeju had to admit as she looked at her hair, she looked damn good. Combining Yerim’s makeup skills, Yeojin’s fashion expertise, and Chaewon’s magic hands when it came to hair, Hyeju was looking quite delicious. She continued to examine herself for a few seconds longer before her eyes caught a glint in the mirror’s reflection. “Are these glitter clips?”
“Duh! Need something to offset the totally spooked-out outfit you’re wearing. Can’t have you looking too scary to approach. Plus, they’re super cute!” Chaewon gave a tiny shrug and skipped off to get her makeup done.
Looking back in the mirror, Hyeju lightly touched the light pink and white glittery clips adorning her hair. They did look pretty cute. In all honesty, they didn’t stand out like some garish accessory. They fit with her outfit, in a weird way. With a shrug of her own, she turned from the mirror to head to the kitchen. Yeojin was already in the kitchen, pulling out the different ingredients for the pregame drinks that Hyeju was in charge of making. That was her role for party prep sessions. Yeojin picks out the outfits, Yerim does the makeup, Chaewon does the hair, and Hyeju makes the fun juice concoctions that make them all fuzzy and warm. Her mixes were pretty lethal, too, though they weren’t anything worse than what they would probably find at the party.
“Hyeju! Guess what I heard.” Yeojin sang with a little smirk as she leaned on the counter next to Hyeju’s mixing station. Hyeju only gave her a grunt, deciding to focus on her sole job of pregame drinks versus whatever news Yeojin was going to give. Most of the time, Yeojin’s gossip snippets were dumb and meant nothing. Hyeju couldn’t care less about them; that was most days. This week, however, seemed to be different. “I heard that the cheer squad was coming to celebrate their first performance going well. We lost the game, but they’re still celebrating, it seems.”
The bottle that Hyeju had been holding slipped from her hand and landed in the bowl below. Yeojin gasped and Hyeju gripped the edges of the bowl for dear life until things steadied out. The silence that followed was deafening and Yeojin said a quick prayer for her life as Hyeju turned to glare at her. “The whole cheer squad?”
“The whole cheer squad.” Yeojin confirmed. She watched Hyeju with worried eyes as the older girl looked back to the bowl and picked up the half-emptied bottle. Without another word, Hyeju lifted the bottle to her lips and took a giant gulp of the alcohol that sloshed inside before continuing to pour it into the bowl. “Joo? Are you okay?”
“Just dandy, Yeojin. Perfectly peachy.” She hoped that Yeojin could tell she was being sarcastic. Luckily, Yeojin didn’t push anything further and even left the room to find the others. She was probably scared, but Hyeju couldn’t find it in her to care that she potentially freaked out her friend. Hyeju sighed and tried to focus on the drink mixing.
Of course, she’d told the others what had happened after they left the other day. And how Hyeju had run into Y/N again the next day at Hyeju’s favorite fast-food restaurant. And the day after that, when Yerim and Hyeju went plant shopping for Yerim’s next plant baby. Y/N was looking at plants at the same store as them. It seemed like every day through the week they had run into one another. Now, Hyeju didn’t believe in cosmic signs, not usually, at least. But, as she finished mixing the pregame drink for the night and serving cups for the other girls, she had to admit that perhaps the universe was trying to say something important.
Instead of focusing on it, however, Hyeju ignored it and instead, made it her silent goal to get as drunk as possible. She wanted to forget the week and no one was going to stop her. No one but Yerim whined about it but, even Yerim forgot her warnings as soon as the four of them entered the large party that was spilling out onto several lawns. The music was loud and with the pregame drinks already buzzing through Hyeju’s system, it wasn’t too many drinks later when she was dancing on the designated dance floor fuzzy and swaying to the thumping music. Chaewon was dancing with her, the two of them giggling and enjoying themselves in the suffocating heat of the room. It was a short-lived moment, though, as Chaewon eventually was swept up by some frat guy wanting something far more intimate than Hyeju needed to know the details about. She knew that Chaewon would give the details later, anyway, much to everyone’s dismay.
Making her way through the sea of bodies after being ditched, Hyeju stumbled into the kitchen for another drink. She wanted something strong, so she clumsily mixed several of the big bottles sitting around before heading out into the backyard of the house. There were fewer people out there, gathered around a fire that wasn’t really necessary in the still warm weather. Hyeju passed the small group and stumbled her way to a secluded swing in the back that no one else was near. She could see the stars from there and they entertained her for some time before she felt the swing move. “Hey! I’m sitting here and didn’t say that anyone could join me-”
“I thought I could keep you company. You looked really lonely over here by yourself, Hyeju.” Blinking several times, Hyeju stared past the drunk haze clouding her vision to see a flushed Y/N beside her. She had a cup in her hand, too, but it looked empty. Y/N noticed Hyeju staring at the cup and she laughed nervously. “I-It’s not alcohol...anymore! I switched it out for water. One was enough for me!”
“You’re actually here.” Hyeju blurted out, still staring like Y/N had two heads instead of just one. Maybe it was the blurred vision adding the second head. It was still beautiful like the first. Either way, Hyeju gulped and shook her head to fix her vision. “I mean, I heard you would be here but I wasn’t sure if you really would be, you know?”
“Well, of course, I came! I heard you were going to be here, too, so I had to come and see you, Hyeju.” In the low light, Hyeju couldn’t tell if Y/N’s flushed cheeks were just leftover from whatever she’d drank or if she was blushing. Either way, it was cute and Hyeju couldn’t stop herself from saying so out loud.
“That’s so cute. You’re so cute, Y/N.” The soft sigh left her mouth and it took a few seconds of Y/N staring at her with wide eyes to realize what she’d just said out loud. Hyeju’s mouth fell open and all that could come out was random sounds and grunts trying to refute the statement. Hyeju wanted to suck it back into her mind, to take it out of the space that she released it into.
Y/N squeaked and finally, Hyeju was lifted from her trance. “Y-You really mean that, Hyeju? You think I’m cute?” It made her heart hurt, seeing Y/N look so shy and soft. She wanted to know where she could sign up to see this every day, every minute for the rest of her life. For some reason, marriage didn’t seem solid enough for what she was wanting at that exact moment.
“I do, yeah. Always thought you were cute.” Hyeju shrugged and threw caution to the wind as the alcohol roared through her body. When she sobered up, she’d regret every word that slurred out of her mouth but right now, she needed Y/N to know what her heart had been screaming for years. “I’ve really liked you since we were like, eight or nine.”
“That long?” Y/N gasped softly, leaning forward on the swing she was sitting on. Her eyes were trained on the grass in front of them, not on Hyeju, so the latter couldn’t figure out what her face looked like. Was it good news? Bad? It sounded like it was a good thing, but Hyeju began to chew on her lip as silence slipped in between them like a gross, slimy worm. As the anxiety built up inside her, she registered Y/N moving closer to her side. “You’ve really liked little old me that long?”
Hyeju watched her get closer on her swing, her cheeks blazing red in the darkness like two little night lights. For once, she was thankful that it seemed Y/N couldn’t notice the blush blooming on her own cheeks. Gulping down some cold air, Hyeju nodded and she felt her heart speed up like crazy at the sight of Y/N’s eyes lighting up. “I really have liked you that long. Every day you seemed to make my heart go crazier and crazier.” Hyeju nervously laughed and when she felt Y/N’s thigh lightly touch her own, she froze up completely. “I’ve always fantasized about kissing you; ever since we played Romeo and Juliet in our freshman English class back in high school, I’ve pictured it.”
The darkness of night, Hyeju quickly picked up on, was annoying at this point since she couldn’t tell what Y/N was doing. All she could make out was moving blobs and the alcohol wasn’t helping her discern which shapes were what. In the next moment, however, she didn’t need the light to figure out what was happening. Hyeju felt a soft object press against her cheek. It was slightly sticky, making Hyeju’s body ignite when she registered it was lipgloss. Y/N’s cherry lipgloss she’d been using since the end of middle school. Y/N’s lipgloss. That meant Y/N had kissed her cheek. If this were a cartoon, Hyeju knew that for sure smoke would be pouring out of her ears.
“I-I know that’s not what you fantasized about, probably. I know it’s not what I’ve thought about over and over again, but I want to save our actual first kiss for a date. Where we’re soberer…” Y/N explained, and Hyeju wanted to melt at how cute and small she sounded. The moment she felt Y/N’s fingers prodding at her hand, Hyeju scooped it up and interlocked their fingers without a second thought. A soft giggle erupted from Y/N and Hyeju smiled as true happiness erupted through her. “If that’s something you’d want-”
“Yes. Yes, I would, god yes.” Hyeju groaned and squeezed the other girl’s hand before sighing in contentment. “It would be an honor to go on a date with you, Y/N, you have no idea.” Hyeju laughed lightly and relaxed more on her swing. It was comfortably silent for a few minutes afterward, nothing more about a date being said between them. Hyeju didn’t need anything else said, just knowing that Y/N wanted to go on one with her was enough to give her happiness for a decade. Hyeju wanted to properly ask Y/N out on a date once they were both sober, anyway.
Feeling Y/N’s hand slip from her own, Hyeju didn’t think anything of it until she felt light touches on the top of her head. “These are so pretty.” She felt Y/N’s breath against her forehead, her cheeks heating up and then Hyeju realized her clips were being investigated. Poking at the other one Y/N wasn’t looking at, Hyeju chuckled while Y/N oogled over the tiny clips. “Do you mind if I play with your hair, Joo? I like these clips a lot but I wanna play with it. It always looks so pretty.”
She couldn’t say no, even if she wanted to but that wasn’t reality in any universe. Nodding once, Y/N gave a little cheer before carding her fingers in Hyeju’s hair. The clips left her hair one by one, slipping into Y/N’s pocket from what Hyeju could see through the dark. That was the least important thing on her mind, honestly. She was more focused on Y/N slowly brushing her hair with her fingers. Closing her eyes and leaning against Y/N’s body, Hyeju let the other play around with her hair for what felt like hours. Time didn’t exist when they were together and Hyeju would’ve let Y/N do anything to her in the time they were together. Feeling a light pat on her head, though, brought Hyeju out of a trance and she could see Y/N standing in front of her again.
“I haven’t seen your hair in a braid before, so I braided it. You look so beautiful.” Y/N softly spoke, letting her fingers trail down from Hyeju’s hair to her cheek to brush against the soft skin lightly. It was driving her crazy and standing up, Hyeju gently cupped Y/N’s cheek with her hand. Her eyes studied Y/N’s face close up, trying to memorize each little freckle and bump on her skin. Looking into Y/N’s eyes after a few moments, Hyeju opened her mouth to begin an apology to the girl for ruining their first kiss so soon, because God, did she want to kiss her so badly right then and there. Unfortunately, the moment was ruined at the sound of Y/N’s name being called. Y/N had her attention stolen from Hyeju and the cheerleader looked back at Hyeju sheepishly once she confirmed who it was. “I think I gotta go, Joo. I’m sorry.” Without wasting another moment, Y/N lightly kissed Hyeju’s cheek again and ran off toward the thumping party. The same party Hyeju almost forgot the two of them were at. Hyeju sighed as she sat back down on the swing, wishing their moment together could have lasted longer. She wanted to hold Y/N closer to her body just a little longer, to kiss her just a little more.
Shortly after Y/N had left her, Hyeju was being sought out and dragged out of the party to head home with her drunk and giggling friends. Just as predicted, Chaewon was relaying the experience of the frat boy, which apparently went so very wrong. Everyone was laughing as they walked, except the very distracted and distraught Hyeju. Noticing this shift in demeanor, Yeojin squinted at Hyeju’s face. “Joo? What were you up to? Yerim said you were outside in the backyard?” All eyes landed on Hyeju and with a shrug, she kept her own eyes forward and off her friends. Telling them what had happened wouldn’t be worth it, she decided. Nothing of huge importance happened and they would only begin to bug her about setting up a date if she told them.
“Just needed some fresh air. That party was really stuffy.” Hyeju revealed and it was satisfying enough for her friends. She thanked the heavens they were drunk off their asses, as well. She wanted to keep her meeting with Y/N to herself for a little while longer and let her drunk fantasy play out further on the walk home.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Monday had come before anybody was really ready for it. Classes were in session again and Hyeju found it too hard to focus on them when she had a whole mutual crush out there just existing. A smile formed on her face as she stared at the leaves on the trees outside of the window way more than usual, daydreaming about what could be. It didn’t go unnoticed in the following weeks after the party, her friends were slowly beginning to pick up on her weird behavior.
“Hey, Joo, what’s up with you?” Chaewon dropped her pen in her textbook one day they were studying in the library after the party had passed. Hyeju had been staring out at something through the window for a solid ten minutes. It was beginning to be a little weird even for her. “You’ve been acting so weird lately. Ever since that party a few weeks ago. What’s going on?”
“Huh? Nothing, I’m fine.” Hyeju shrugged it off, looking back to her work with furrowed brows, trying to pretend like she hadn’t been daydreaming about Y/N again. Chaewon said nothing else, just watching her friend for a minute before her brain started turning cogs. Something happened at the party, but she didn’t know what. Was it something bad? Maybe, if she wasn’t telling anyone. But then again, Hyeju was weird and didn’t even share the good things. Chaewon would have to consult the other two on this matter when they had a chance. Which came sooner than she thought, as Hyeju left for the bathroom a few minutes later. As soon as Chaewon was able to talk to them alone, she huffed and launched into her idea. “I think something happened to Hyeju at the party a few weeks ago. She’s been acting way more closed off than usual.”
“Oh, no. Do you think one of the frat guys touched her or something…” Yeojin bit her lip nervously at the idea, but Yerim pushed her over and off the chair she was sitting on in the library. “Hey! It is a legitimate concern.” Yeojin whined as she defended herself but Yerim only shushed her, eyes wide and focused on something in the distance. Chaewon and Yeojin were confused, following Yerim’s stare across the library to the source of her shock. Their eyes landed on Y/N, though that wasn’t the thing that had Yerim’s mouth falling open. A glint in her hair was what caught the girls’ attention and upon staring for a few seconds longer, gasps erupted from Yeojin and Chaewon. “No fucking–”
“Are those my hair clips?” Chaewon whisper yelled to the other two sitting right next to her. With confirming nods, Chaewon’s eyes narrowed on the girl laughing in the distance, the dots connecting before she gasped again. It had to be what happened, and looking at the other two, Chaewon’s shock grew into a mischievous smile. “I know exactly what happened.” The other two girls leaned closer to hear her ideas, and as Chaewon opened her mouth to relay her mental gymnastics to reach her conclusion, Hyeju was back.
“What are you guys doing? You look like drug dealers in a meeting.” The comment was spoken in a slight huff as Hyeju sat down, wiggling and getting comfortable once again in her seat. The other three simply stared in silence, blinking and looking between Hyeju and the distant Y/N still standing and talking animatedly with her friend. When Hyeju looked up from her book again to see them staring, her eyes grew wide in confusion. “What? Is something on my face?”
“Holy shit! You fucked Y/N, didn’t you?” Yeojin blurted out loud, gaining the attention of several people around them trying to study peacefully. Hyeju’s face instantly became red as she stared at her friend in shock. In the distance, unbeknownst to Hyeju, Y/N turned with a small pout in confusion at the sound of her name being spoken from far away. Searching the tables and chairs scattered through the library, her eyes finally landed on the trio still huddled together, sitting across from someone that Y/N knew anywhere, even from the back of her head. Saying goodbye to the person she was talking to, she began walking toward the table and the trio began to scramble and collect themselves. “Oh, fuck, I didn’t think I was that loud–”
“God, Yeojin, you dumbass. You need to learn to shut the fuck up.”
“Now she’s coming to rip into us or cry or something and then Hyeju will kill us.”
“Who–” Hyeju stared at her friends with furrowed brows and began to turn around to see who they were staring at, but she was stopped as two arms wrapped around her shoulders from behind. She didn’t have to look, now, to see who was hugging her so tight. Reaching up and patting one of the arms lightly and blushing, Hyeju finally turned around to look up at the girl in question. “Y/N! I didn’t know you were here today.”
“I came to work on a group project! We just finished, actually. Are you working on stuff, too?” Y/N smiled warmly at Hyeju, sucking the latter into a world where just the two of them existed. Yerim, Yeojin, and Chaewon simply watched in shock as Hyeju and Y/N talked animatedly about classwork. The conversation ended sooner than Hyeju had really wanted if her face said anything, but she didn’t stop Y/N from leaving. With a wave, Hyeju watched Y/N walk away like a puppy watching her owner leave her.
Deciding to take matters into her hands for the better, Yeojin decided to use her loud mouth for good. Standing up, she cupped her hands around her mouth and called for Y/N again. Hyeju’s head whipped around, eyes wide and cheeks dark red in embarrassment. Y/N stopped walking and looked back at Yeojin with a smile, not moving from where she stood. “Do you want to go to a movie with Hyeju this Friday? 4:00 pm sound good?”
“What are you doing?” Hyeju hissed at Yeojin, glaring at her as she tried to hide her face from the other people staring. Y/N, however, was blushing happily and nodded with a little thumbs up. Chaewon and Yerim sighed in relief as Yeojin laughed and held up her own thumbs up. “Cool! She’ll come and pick you up, then!” Sitting back down, she wore a proud smile in the face of Hyeju’s burning anger toward her, deciding that acting nonchalant about it was better than cowering at the daggers being thrown her way. “There, now you have a date!”
“I hate you.” Hyeju huffed and slowly felt safe enough to sit up completely. Returning to their work separately, silence slipped in and things felt calm once again before Hyeju whispered softly just for the three of them to hear. “And no, we didn’t fuck. She just played with my hair and kissed my cheek.”
“Those clips look better on her, anyway.” Yeojin mumbled back, earning a kick from Yerim as Chaewon giggled. Hyeju could only sigh, trying not to explode from the impending doom that a date meant. A movie wasn’t the worst first date that she could think to take Y/N on. At least they could hold hands in the dark while they watched whatever was on and if it was scary, she could protect Y/N from the monsters on the screen. She didn’t even know if any horror movies were out, but she ignored that fact and focused on how her hand would feel touching Y/N’s waist to hold her close.
Floating off into her daydreams again, the other three couldn’t help but feel a weight slip off their shoulders. Seeing Hyeju this happy was strange but far better than her longing puppy stares. A celebration in Yeojin’s honor for setting them up finally was in order later, without Hyeju, of course.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Looking up at the large apartment building, Hyeju leaned against the side of her car with her hands in her pockets. To an outsider, she looked like a fierce, mysterious person that had an interesting back story. In reality, she was a nervous wreck, fiddling around with her keys in one pocket and her debit card in the other. She had texted Y/N that she was on her way, the latter sending back a bunch of cute emojis in response. Another text was sent when she arrived, and ever since, she’d been standing outside her car, waiting. Hyeju hadn’t been waiting very long, honestly, so she wasn’t mad when Y/N finally came running out the door to the building. Not that she would be mad under any other circumstances, because it was Y/N and she deserved all the time she wanted to get ready. Running up to Hyeju, Y/N wrapped her arms around the stoic girl and giggled sweetly when Hyeju hugged her back. Hyeju could just about melt but kept her cool as Y/N pulled back and Hyeju could see the glittery butterflies adorning her hair.
“I’m sorry it took me a while to get down here. I was making sure my roommate knew when exactly to feed my turtle and what to feed him.” Y/N explained but Hyeju brushed it off, assuring her that it was no big deal at all. Silence awkwardly fell between them and when Hyeju realized she was just staring, she cleared her throat and smiled sheepishly.
“Y-You look fantastic! So beautiful, Y/N.”
“I think you look absolutely gorgeous, too, Joo.” Y/N smiled and Hyeju felt her heart do all kinds of leaps in her chest. Laughing nervously and looking down at her feet, Hyeju stepped away from the side of the car and opened the passenger side for Y/N. She watched Y/N climb in and once she was securely in the car, Hyeju closed the door and ran around to her side of the car. “Do you know what movie you want to see? I have no idea what’s even out right now.”
“I was thinking of this cute romance movie that just came out!” Y/N gasped and began to gush about it as Hyeju buckled into her seat, making sure Y/N was buckled into her seat, too. Her brows furrowed as she started the car and started to drive to the theater. “It’s supposed to be a historical fiction type of romance! The only downside is that it’s straight people, so the romance is a little too cheesy sometimes.”
Listening to her ramble about the movie, soon moving on to books she was reading and the poems that she liked to read over and over again, to the plants that she named, Hyeju couldn’t be happier. Her smile was permanent on her face the whole time she listened to her talk, and she couldn’t help but feel like being anywhere but right where she was must be hell on Earth. Because Y/N was the angel she always felt drawn to and that car was heaven. Parking the car once they arrived, Y/N excitedly unbuckled herself and made to open her door before Hyeju shouted at the movement.
“Wait!” Bolting out of her seat once she was unbuckled and the car was off, Hyeju ran around the car to Y/N’s door. Dusting herself off once she was in position, Hyeju carefully opened the door with a bow and a smile. “My lady, we have arrived.”
“Oh, my gosh, Joo! You don’t have to open doors for me.” Y/N blushed as she climbed out of the car, shuffling out of the way before adjusting the skirt she had on. Hyeju only smile at her when she looked at her, head shaking in disagreement.
“I have to! You’re my date and I intend on treating you properly.” Holding her hand out for Y/N, Hyeju held it gently when she placed it in her own and led her date to the doors, holding those open, too. Hyeju even paid for their tickets when they reached the booth, much to YN’s dismay. When they stepped further into the lobby, they watched the boards to let them know when they could start seating in the theater. Deciding to wait as the theater is being cleaned, the pair sat down at a little table, facing each other with shy smiles. Hyeju eventually began to look around, noticing the snack counter across the way. “Should we get some snacks? I kind of want some popcorn or something.”
“Snacks for sure!” Y/N gasped softly, quickly turning to look at where Hyeju was looking. Hopping up quickly, she stuck her hand out to Hyeju, smiling widely at her date. “I’ll pay for those.” Y/N insisted and pouted at Hyeju as the latter slowly opened her mouth to protest Y/N spending any money on this date. Eventually, she agreed and Y/N grabbed her hand to drag her up to the snack counter. Hyeju pouted the whole time until she had a popcorn container in one hand and her favorite drink in the other. She was so focused on dousing her popcorn in butter, she almost didn’t see Y/N come up next to her to douse her own popcorn in butter. When she was satisfied, Hyeju stepped away and watched Y/N fix her popcorn up, noticing the other items in her hand.
“What did you get to drink?” Hyeju motioned to the drink as they finally made their way to the theater. When no reply came, Hyeju gave her a confused look until she noticed Y/N’s mouth was full of popcorn. She playfully rolled her eyes and the pair found a seat in the now clean and still mostly lit theater. “You like your popcorn that much?”
“Yes! I really like it. And I got some lemonade with these gummies!” Once they were seated, Y/N carefully set things down before holding out the box for Hyeju to see. A small frown appeared on her face as she eyed the candy, a brow-raising when she looked to her date with some doubt.
“Butterfly gummies?”
“They’re so good! They’re my favorite. I got two boxes.” Y/N quickly produced the second box, slowly blushing as she looked down at the drawings of butterflies on the outside. “I wanted to share some with you if you wanted some. I know sometimes people don’t like candy–”
“I would love some, cutie.” Hyeju beamed when she noticed Y/N blush more, holding her hand open for some gummies. Y/N dumped some into her hand and soon, the lights were dimming for the start of the commercials. Hyeju didn’t usually eat candy like this, finding it annoying when it stuck to her teeth, but it was actually better than she thought. It was only a plus that it happened to be Y/N’s favorite candy. It was hard to focus on the movie with Hyeju’s thoughts constantly going back to the fact that her long-time crush was sitting right next to her. And she was holding her hand the whole time, shortly starting sometime after the lights went off. She also wasn’t planning on having the movie make her cry either, but toward the end, she was gently taking tissues that Y/N was offering.
When they stepped out of the theater, letting the cool evening breeze blow through their hair, Y/N stretched as Hyeju dabbed at her eyes. “That was a lot better than I thought it would be! I really liked it.” Y/N commented and looked at Hyeju, giggling when she saw her date still dabbing at her eyes. “I guess you liked it?”
“It was really good, better than I thought, too. You picked a really good one!” Hyeju wrapped her arm around Y/N’s shoulders and pulled her close to her side, almost humming happily at how close they were as they walked back to Hyeju’s car. It fell silent when they got in, the whole ride back to Y/N’s apartment being quiet as both occupants were occupied with their own thoughts. Nothing was really said until Hyeju was parking her car outside Y/N’s building and getting out to open her door. “I really had a good time, even though all we did was watch a movie.”
“I really liked it, though. It was so nice to just be with you.” Y/N spoke softly and looked away from Hyeju shyly, swaying slightly as they stood there. “I’d really like to do it again sometime if you want to–”
“I’d love to go out again, really soon.” Without letting Y/N finish, Hyeju jumped at the chance to confirm a second date, smiling as Y/N giggled. The two fell silent once again and Hyeju felt her heart begin to speed up with the silence. Reaching out, Hyeju gently cupped Y/N’s cheeks and smiled as she leaned close, kissing her lips so softly it almost felt like she was kissing a cloud. After a few seconds, Hyeju pulled away and let her hands fall from Y/N’s face. “Thank you for going out with me. I hope you have a really good night.”
“Thank you for taking me out, Joo. You’re really adorable, you know that?” Biting her lip slightly, she tried to fight the huge smile making its way onto her face as Hyeju blushed profusely. “Make sure to text me when you get home, okay?” Y/N stared at Hyeju until she nodded, nodding herself before taking a few steps back from her date. “Goodnight, Joo. Sweet dreams.” She giggled one last time before turning and walking inside her building. When Hyeju saw her disappear inside, she let out a huge breath and smiled like she was crazy, feeling her entire body tingle with excitement. The whole drive back to her dorm was nothing but Y/N and how Hyeju couldn’t wait to go on another date with her cheerleader girlfriend.

“Haha! Gotcha!” Yeojin screamed as she smashed the buttons on Hyejoo’s remote control, trying desperately to beat the stony-faced girl at a game of call of duty. Hyejoo had gotten the game for Christmas, and she’d practically already reached the maximum level in each game mode. Hyejoo absolutely loved gaming, and if she was being honest, not many things topped gaming for her. Except you, of course. Every day her members call her or chat to her and she can’t hear them with her headset on, but for you, Hyejoo would even go as far to quit her game just to talk to you. In your eyes, that was the biggest sentiment the timid girl had ever given you.
“Yeojin, you shot the wall again. I’m not even near you.” Hyejoo spoke gruffly, before laughing at the frustrated maknae. The younger girl huffed out, dropping the remote before jumping slightly as the door to Hyejoo’s dorm room burst open. You had just taken a shower after sleeping over at the dorm last night, as you often do since Hyejoo had introduced you to her members - 11 girls that had rapidly become some of your best friends.
“Hi Y/N! Nice hoodie.” Yeojin teased, before whining out as Hyejoo killed her again. You looked down and blushed lightly, feeling comfortable in the confines of your girlfriend’s soft hoodie. Looking up again, you found Hyejoo was staring at you with one of the softest looks you had ever seen, before she outstretched her hand to beckon you over.
“You look adorable.” Hyejoo whispered to you as you sat down beside her, your head leaning on her shoulder as you watched her obliterate Yeojin at the game.
“Alright well, I’m clearly not winning this, and I definitely don’t want to be around when you guys get all mushy.” Yeojin said, dropping her controller on the ground and standing up. “I’ll see you two later.” She said finally, and you both bid her goodbye as she headed out the door, presumably to go and make bracelets with Jiwoo as the two had planned yesterday.
The room was much quieter now as Hyejoo had switched off her gaming system, neatly putting her controllers away so as to keep the dorm neat for her roommates. You sat on the floor as you watched her tidy, leaning against the edge of Hyejoo’s bed. Once she had finished, she crawled back to you and leaned against the bed beside you, opening her arms for you to crawl onto her lap. Once you’d sat down, the raven haired girl wrapped her arms around your waist and held you close to her.
“Did you sleep okay last night baby?” She asked, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear absentmindedly.
“I did, except for when you accidentally elbowed me in the stomach during your sleep.” You joked, earning a chuckle from your girlfriend. The smile stayed etched on her face as she gazed at you, leaning in to press a soft kiss to your temple. Just as you went to turn your head to repay her with a proper kiss, the bedroom door burst open once again.
“Hye- AH! THEY’RE KISSING!!” Yeojin screamed out, slapping her hands over her eyes so she wouldn’t see anything. The girls responded with a few whistles and a small shout from Jiwoo as they heard the maknae’s scream, further embarrassing the both of you.
“We’re not! Now what do you want?” Hyejoo argued back, leaning over to grab a pillow from her bed before launching it at the younger girl. Yeojin caught the pillow and threw it back, laughing before letting you both know that lunch was ready. She left as quickly as she came, slamming the door shut and running off to eat. The room was quiet again as you both sat there, not wanting to move away from one another.
“Damn, is it really always going to be this difficult for me to just kiss my girlfriend?” Hyejoo asked, a small smile on her face again as she noticed the blush on your cheeks. You decided to give her just what she desired, your lips meeting hers in a soft, yet passionate kiss. As Hyejoo’s hand moved to the back of your neck to deepen the kiss, you had to force yourself to pull away before it got too heated for either of you to resist. Your forehead rested against your girlfriend’s as she finally opened her eyes again, the blush now settling on her own face.
After a few more moments of silence, you finally stood up and held out your hand for Hyejoo to follow.
“Let’s go eat shall we?”
-----
A little while later, you found yourself chomping down on some delicious food prepared by Hyunjin and Vivi. There was hustle and bustle all around the table as all 13 of you ate happily, sharing stories and jokes that led to infectious laughter and smiles being spread around the table. You smiled as you ate, feeling so lucky to be brought into such a close-knit group of girls, and even luckier that you could now call them all your best friends. You stayed in your little bubble of happiness for a few more minutes, appreciating the lovely food, until Sooyoung decided to break your train of thought.
“Y/N, isn’t that Oli’s hoodie?” She asked, a smirk on her face. Your cheeks heated up again as most of the girls stopped talking to listen in on your conversation. Before you could reply, Jiwoo cut in, embarrassing you even more.
“Oh it definitely is Hyejoo’s! She was wearing it last week! Oh that’s so ADORABLE!!!” She squeaked, fawning over you cosied up in your girlfriend’s clothes. The rest of the girls joined in, making kissy noises and cooing over the both of you. You just looked at Hyejoo, who was looking right back at you, the two of you just begging for escape from the situation. Eventually, Hyejoo decided to speak up, using a sassy tone in hopes that her members would quit teasing her.
“Yes, that is my hoodie, and what about it? Y/N is my girlfriend and she can wear as much of my clothes as she wants to. Plus, she looks cuter in them than I ever could.” Hyejoo replied, her voice getting quieter as she added the last part, hoping that only you would hear it. Unfortunately she was wrong, as Chaewon spoke up next.
“Ah… I can’t believe our big scary Hye is this whipped for Y/N!” Giggling, she poked Hyejoo and wiggled her eyebrows, making the other girls laugh too. Eventually, Hyejoo couldn’t keep it in, joining in and setting off your laughter too. The girls eventually let up on the jokes, letting you both know it was all in good fun and they were actually very happy for the both of you.
“Even though you may be disgustingly cute, and absolutely whipped for each other, we’re so proud of you both, you know.” Vivi spoke, earning agreements from the other girls.
“For real, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Hyejoo as happy since she’s been with you, Y/N.” Heejin added. Hyejoo was blushing insanely now, her face heated up as she looked down at her plate. You thanked the girls, chatting away and watching as the previous conversations were picked up again. Only you and Hyejoo were silent now, so you turned to face her.
“Hey, Hyejoo.” You said, getting the girl’s attention from where she was sitting beside you.
“Hey, Y/N.” She replied, her face still red. You knew she didn’t do well expressing herself, especially in front of so many people. Reaching under the table, you found her hand and laced her fingers with your own.
“I kinda like you.” You replied, earning a wide smile and a laugh from your girlfriend. She squeezed your hand lightly as a thank you, before leaning in to whisper something in your ear.
“I kinda like you too, Y/N.”
Your smile grew as you kept your hands interlocked, picking up your chopsticks to take another bite. You couldn’t help but let the butterflies overtake you as you felt smitten with the girl beside you. Even after being together for so long, those words still brought you so much joy and happiness. As you pondered the powerful feelings for the girl beside you that were currently clouding your mind, you couldn’t help but hope for many more days like this to come your way. You, Hyejoo, and all the girls. They completed you; they were your happiness.

Can i request a a txt reaction/drabble to s/o Boeing clingy when she gets jealous, maybe make it like she is jealous of another idol , thank you ♥️😄
Yeonjun
You were acting so strange today. Since you arrived at the music show, you never left your hands off him. You were always touching his face, caressing his hair, holding and squeezing his hand or hugging him. He realized something was off.
And then it hit him. He had spent a few minutes talking to Chaeyoung when he bumped into her. It had been a while since the last time he saw her, probably since their graduation, so he greeted her with a hug and with excitement, neglecting his girlfriend for a few moments.
He spoke out of nowhere. “Yah. You don’t get to be jealous. Ever since I introduced you to Wooyoung, I stopped existing when we’re with him. You like his hugs better, don’t you?” he turned the situation around in seconds, and you couldn’t help to laugh, especially because he was right. He smiled at your laugh and kissed your forehead. “Stop being jealous, babe. I’m yours. But don’t stop being clingy.” He pouted.
Soobin
“Are you going to tell me what’s wrong?” He confronted you, raising an eyebrow. It’s not that he didn’t like your hugs or kisses, it’s just that he realized that you were acting odd.
“Yeji is here.” is the only thing you pointed out, but he didn’t need more words to understand what was going on inside your head.
“Yes, she is. She looks pretty, right?” he decided to tease you, knowing that you would pout at his words. He smiled when you did and pressed a kiss on your lips. “Don’t be jealous. You look prettier.” He didn’t let go of you the entire night, though.
Beomgyu
“(y/n) I can’t breathe.” You had been hugging his neck for a few minutes now and he couldn’t feel the air getting into his lungs anymore. He chuckled when you let go of him and apologised. “You’re acting cute today.” He pointed out. “Is everything ok?”
“I just...” you started to confess. “I just saw an Instagram post where people were shipping you with Chaeryeong...” Beomgyu chuckled. “And you almost killed me for that? I love you.” Beomgyu wasn’t the one who said it a lot, so it was his way to reassure you that he didn’t care about any other girl in this world.
Taehyun
He didn’t notice something was off. He loved when you got clingy, so he was too busy enjoying your touches to know that they had a reason to exist. But since he didn’t realize what the problem was, he kept talking about his friend Chaerin from Cherry Bullet.
“Let’s stop talking about her, yeah?” you suddenly said while cuddling him, trying to get impossibly closer. And that’s when he realized. “Are you jealous?...I’m sorry.” He apologised because he understood. He wouldn’t like if you talked non-stop about someone else either, so he decided to keep on cuddling and to pick a movie to watch.
Huening Kai
When you randomly jumped into his arms, he got really surprised. He was just conversing with Yeojin from LOONA. They have recently become friends because they were both born in 2002 and Kai felt like he needed some friends that were his age. He chuckled at your actions and hugged you back, while still talking to Yeojin. Kai was confused when Yeojin suddenly left, ending the conversation way too soon. Did she notice something that he didn’t?
Kai looked at his girlfriend. “You’re a bit clingy today, aren’t you?”. “It’s because I was jealous...” you admitted with a blush on your cheeks, and he smiled. How didn’t he notice? He hugged her even closer. “You don’t have to be. My hugs are all yours”
