your eyes fluttered open to see golden sunlight pooling into your room from the windows.

immediately you felt soft breathing ghosting your chest as you looked down at your sleeping girlfriend.

a small smile crept onto your face as you thought about the events that took place the night before.

her face was pressed against your tank top clad chest while her legs were tangled with yours.

you brought a hand up running your hand through her hair gently hoping not to wake her.

after a few minutes you felt her move against you, a soft whimper leaving her lips.

you could feel her watching you before humming softly you asked “hmmm?”

she softly responded “nothing...”

you wrapped your arms around her tighter trailing your fingers up her bare back.

her ears burned red as she did her best to not smile against your skin

but you knew her all too well

“you’re so cute” you told her softly.

you could feel her smile against your chest as you laughed softly to yourself

gently you kissed the top of her head which sent her into a full gay panic, eliciting a loud screech from her, something she does when she’s embarrassed

you choked out in between laughter “i love you so much.”

she tucked her head into your neck, still embarrassed, but she still responded “i love you too.”

confetti sprung out throughout the room, along with cheers that drowned out the music that blasted away. you clinked drinks with the person next to you, despite not even knowing them, before turning to your friend hyunjin.

you couldn’t help but notice the small heart-shaped holographic sequin in her dark hair, most likely from one of those special party poppers. without thinking, you leaned forward in order to pick out the heart from her locks, and when you pulled away, you found hyunjin’s face covered with a light pink blush.

there was this friendly party chan and you wanted to attend. you were principally debating on which color to wear, standing before your wardrobe.

you checked the time on your watch and squealed. “chan, please send a message to yves to tell her we’ll be running late.”

he was carefully seated on your desk chair, not wanting to ruin the black outfit. “i don’t have her number though,” he pouted.

a minor obstacle you obviously had a solution to. you took your phone out of your short’s pocket and threw it in his way without looking. “use mine.”

he grabbed it with agility before shaking his head for your carelessness. he didn’t know your passcode but, instead of asking, he wanted to try and guess. he was a bit bored anyway.

your birthday, your parents’, and every birthday he could remember of your shared friends.

“is it done?”

“almost.”

chan suddenly realized he hasn’t tried his own yet. slowly typing 0310, without really believing that was it. it blew his mind that, yes, in fact, the passcode was his birthday.

he quickly sent the text to yves and stared at you, a million thoughts in his head, while you were still struggling.

“not that you asked, but you look stunning in red.”

you turned to face your best friend with a side smile. “not that i asked,” you repeated, “but you’re right.”

a few minutes later, you were dressed up and ready to go. once in the car, chan was contemplating how he would bring up the passcode thing.

“so, you found my passcode.”

it was sudden, he wasn’t expecting that turn of events. “yeah, wasn’t easy. for how long…?”

“i have for a while now. wdym not easy? please you’re my best friend.”

“i know, but the reason your birthday is my passcode is because i like you, so i’ve been wondering if—”

“the reason your birthday’s mine is because i like you too? of course i do. i just told you, i have for a while now.”

chan doesn’t think he ever smiled as wide as right now.

you couldn’t help but stare at your messages, absolutely shocked at yourself for even having the bravery to admit you had those feelings. and to yves of all people?!

nothing against her obviously, because you just professed your love to her through a long ass paragraph over imessage. you were just in shock. you just confessed your feelings to ha yves, and there was still no reply.

read 3:15am was taunting you, making you spiral as you thought about how she probably never wanted to see you again. you whined, throwing your whole self onto your bed as you just glared at the ceiling.

it wasn’t until the knocking at your window that interrupted your staring contest with the ceiling did you realize you were crying. you wiped your eyes and looked over, almost falling of your bed when you saw yves outside your window, standing on the fire escape.

you scrambled to the window and opened it, and there she was. the apple of your eye, the one who tempted you to confess. you invited her in as she crouched through your window, now standing in your room.

“hey yves.” you let out, a panicked smile adorning your face. she laughed, sensing your nerves. before you could say anything else she exhaled, “y/n, i feel the exact same way.”

[ 04:12 am ] “i just kinda wish you were gay.” you sang while strumming your guitar, looking at heejin’s smiling face that was photographed on your class picture. your eyes moved to the person who was next to her, jaemin. his deep brown eyes intimidating you. falling for your boyfriend’s ex isn’t weird, right?

[10:58 pm] princess! vivi quickly ran down the stairs. she didn't bother to fix the wrinkles on her dress, nor get her make up done and descended straight to the gates of the castle. she smiles widely, her cheeks reaching the skies.

"oh no! I'm still wearing my nightgown! I look-"

"stunning as ever." princess! vivi haults her actions and slowly looked up to see knight! haseul standing outside the gates in her shining silver armour. she looked glorious to the princess.

"open the gates!" princess! vivi demanded but to her dismay, the guard at the gate simply shook his head saying 'no'. the princess frowns and looks back to knight! haseul. the knight heaved a sigh and gave her a sad smile. "it's okay, princess. we can see each other again and maybe hug when we meet at the training centre. for now, we can just look at each other. I mean...unless you don't like the way I look with my armour on and dirt on my fac-"
