actually thats crazy (finally got off my butt and started working on day17 again) like its very clear that genda is kidous closest and most trusted friend and yet after s1 the focus completely switches to sakuma and we dont ever really see much of genda and kidous relationship again...

like dont get me wrong im a kisakuhead. LOVE these kids and they have a very interesting relationship so i AM glad it got the focus it did. its esp fun and unique because while sakuma is a close friend of kidou, hes also kind of at the intersection between the two main teikoku groups (kidous close friends and those who want to be his close friends). he kind of admires him too much to be as close to him as genda (and jimon <- im a truther), in a way. this changes after shin teikoku and the ffi shows it very well but my point is about s1 for now

gendas relationship w kidou however is very special bc its fully abt trust. genda thinks very highly of him, of course, but not to the point of drawing a line between them out of admiration. i think the way he worries over him unlike anyone else shows this quite well kidou isnt perfect to genda theyre equals. and most notably kidou (voted least likely to confide in people and let them help him as of s1) trusts genda enough to leave matters to him if he cant handle them (like taking over as captain momentarily to lead practice while hes away), and while theres no doubt he asked this of everyone at the hospital after zeus, its significant that were shown he seeks gendas approval of his pursuit of revenge.

so like. clearly genda is teikokus number 2. together theyre the pillars of the team. kidous partner. and even when it was a little messed up they had a very strong mutual trust in each other. where did it go after s1. where did it fucking gooooo i know we cant have like 3 goalkeepers or whatever but even with genda being in neo japan we got nothing. brah

I'm doing a project about Digimon from its origins to Adventure's release because I'm obsessed. I have a lot still left to do. End goal is to have everything in one place, rather than scattered through the Internet.

so sigma digimon lost the tournament, so now i get to spread my digimon v-tamer 01 propaganda (if that is ok, feel free to delete this ask if not)

it’s a digimon manga BUT it came out before the anime so you don’t have to worry about not knowing stuff, separate timeline. absolutely killer art in it from tenya yabuno who is now working on another digimon manga and has a very diverse style that can go from goofy to serious in seconds (in a cool way). really interesting and fun hero’s journey story with cheesy friendship and some very sad moments

sigma doesn’t play a main character role but he’s really interesting and reading his arc makes me feel sad things . anyways read v-tamer

ah the 1 i think i already did it! BUT IMN GOING TO SAY IT AGAIN THE GALAXY MANGA IS very important to me. i bought it for my 16 birthday. or maybe the 15 one. i dont remember. i love yabuno tenya ALL OF HIS WORKS ARE GOOD except the ones i couldnt read because they arent translated. but they are probably good too.

14.Jikuu no kabe (Temporal wall) is without any doubt my favorite hissatsuI WAS OBSESSED., i was at some point in my life really obsessed with nemuro. and IT WAS A WILD RIDE. not talking about it but probably going to redraw some of the stuff i draw of him when i have time. well i just had to write about this hissatsu. I also like Ganymede Proton (Ganymede Ray) because i am weird about the planet Jupiter and its moons (i have really weird and specific special interests, as god intended it to be).

26.ozrock bitway, its one of my favorite characters, but i would also say kenzaki ryuuichi. I like the evil evil kind of villains. EVIL. like that.
