Ken Kankeki

🔲​Kaneki, who hasn't been a ghoul until the accident, already struggles with his self-control a bit yet his s/o really puts his mental composure to the test. Kaneki would never hurt his s/o, he'd die for them. So why is his mouth watering a bit whenever he catches a good whiff of their skin? That enticing smell invades his mind and fuels his greed for a taste yet as soon as he catches himself indulging in the thought of those primal desires, disgust and self-loathing burns through his entire being. He punishes himself for even thinking about you like this, although all inflicted wounds heal after a while due to his regeneration abilities. He spends hours in his room, tears in his eyes and his own blood coating his mouth and his teeth as he stares at his arms and watches the injuries slowly healing. It isn't enough, he thinks to himself. This pain isn't enough to make up for letting himself develop such vile desires for your flesh and blood.

🔲​Through all of this hatred directed against himself, there's another fear blossoming deep inside of Kaneki's soul. If he already lusts for a taste of you like this, how would it be for other ghouls? Suddenly his thoughts are overwhelmed with images of other ghouls attacking you, tearing you apart, devouring you as your agonizing screams die down and the life leaves your eyes. Such gruesome thoughts nearly make him throw up whenever they won't leave his head and twist and turn his stomach. Despite his disgust for himself, Kaneki follows you around whenever he can and every ghoul he comes across whilst following you, he attacks. His paranoia makes every ghoul see him as your future murderer so he scares them, hurts them and in the worst case kills them. His mind is spinning, his heart is aching and his body is just yearning for closeness with you until Kaneki who has already been cracking under the pressure of his own emotions crumbles apart.

🔲​Your scent soon fills his apartment wherever he goes and it is as soothing as it makes him go a bit crazy. He feels hunger for you, for just a small taste of your blood yet he always holds himself back. You're always uneasy around him as he often just stares at you and you see his entire body softly trembling. Occasionally he takes a step or two in your direction, his gaze needy before he stumbles back again and mumbles something to himself. Kaneki tries to stay away from you but it doesn't always work. You remember sometimes waking up at night to him wrapped around you, his face in your neck as he takes deep breaths and you can feel his own racing heart beat through his chest. If you should ever hurt yourself and the blood just seeps out of your wound, he completely relapses on his delicate control for a moment or two, might even taste the wound with his warm tongue.

Touka Kirishima

🟪Touka has been having some emotions for you for a while now but she has actively tried to ignore them. She's even pushing you away from her, seems short-tempered and brash around you if you should ever try to start a conversation with her. You're confused and wonder if you've done something wrong yet really, none of this is your fault. At least not a fault you made consciously. It's just that your scent ...drives her a bit mad. Touka has never wanted this obsession with you and as if her own emotions aren't already enough to give her a headache, your very sweet blood rushing through your body complicates it all a bit. It isn't that she's about to lose control per se as she has experience in controlling her appetite but the combination of her feelings and your sweet smell seem to make it so difficult for her.

🟪She knows how most humans view ghouls so she is very bend on never letting you find out what she is because as tough as she may try to be, she fears to see her darling being afraid of her due to her being a ghoul. Yet she also knows that not all ghouls will be as careful around you as she is so Touka often starts stalking you or just simply walking you home. Honestly, her behavior contradicts itself often around you because on the one hand she avoids yet also often accompanies you but it's not like you'll get an answer out of her for this. She does all of this for protection because she is fully aware that ghouls might very well come after you for your sweet scent. No one will harm you under her watch though because even with her quiet and aloof exterior at times, she is very ready to become violent for your sake.

🟪Her secret can't remain a secret forever though and eventually she sees herself forced to tell you the truth about her biology and also reveal to you what your sweet smell does to the hunger of a ghoul. She has to swallow back her her emotions when she sees the fear blooming on your face, some of it also directed at her. This is what she expected but still... seeing it hurts. This reveal doesn't have to end in an abduction though and she makes that clear to you too. If you just do as she says and let her continue watching over you, she would be willing to let you live on with your life as you're used to it. Although she knows it'll probably never be quite the same for you again now that you know what she is and are also aware just how special and sweet your blood is for her kind.

Ayato Kirishima

🌌Ayato would rather come up with every other excuse than the one that involves him admitting that he harbors deep inside his heart romantic attraction to a human. Your sweet and special blood is so used as his best excuse to deny his feelings and instead make it look like he's only obsessed with you due to your addictive blood. He's very straightforward in clarifying it to every other ghoul that they shouldn't dare to harm you unless they want to be attacked and murdered by him. Ayato is very straightforward with his territorial feelings and every ghoul who resides even close to you will be beaten bloody by him to the point where even their regeneration won't do much for them. He's big on just stalking you for a couple of months because he still doesn't know what to do with the mess of emotions inside of him. He knows who is to blame for it though. You.

🌌The time eventually comes where Ayato grows sick and tired of seeing you walk around and be so unaware and in good spirits whilst he is tearing himself mentally apart because of his conflicting emotions and has gone on a killing spree just to prevent any other ghoul from attacking you and devouring you. You're such an ungrateful brat. You don't deserve to be left like this, so carefree and happy with your life. He abducts you because he's spiteful and angry with you. A part of him just wants to see you suffer a bit so that he can feel better about himself and also convince himself that you're nothing more than a petty and pathetic human. You should be careful not to anger him since Ayato is very trigger-happy the first few weeks after abduction because your constant presence confronts him harshly with his true feeling for you.

🌌He's being a sadistic asshole for a while with you and hurts you on purpose to taste some of your blood, his tongue digging into your injuries as he watches you squirm with discomfort and tears in your eyes. Ayato is being careful enough to not injure you seriously but enough to make you fear him so that you will listen to him and enough to quench some of his lust for your blood. Passing time changes his heart slowly though and to his huge shame he finds himself growing a small soft spot for you. That's the last thing he wants, he doesn't want you to realize that you are a weak spot for him since he has a fear of you abusing his feelings for you for your own selfish purposes. Sometimes his love for you slips out though and instead of a harsh bite you expected from him you feel a rough kiss being placed on your skin, one that has him recoiling when he realizes what he's just done.

Nishio Nishiki

🎓​Nishiki has some conflicted emotions regarding his obsession with you too because humans were the ones who took his older sister away from him by murdering her. He won't deny that he holds a grudge against your kind but he's more mature in handling this situation. He can't deny that your blood has him lusting for a taste of you too but he knows to wait a bit and to not act too impulsively. Most importantly is that he realizes that you might be targeted by other people of his kind thanks to your rare and sweet blood and the enticing scent you carry around with you. To prevent anyone from hurting and/or killing you to enjoy you as their next meal, he opts to worm his way into your life as quickly as possible in order to have a good eye on you all of the time and prevent anything from happening to you.

🎓​There is a deep-rooted fear of Nishio to lose you too because he has lost the most precious person to him already with the death of his sister. Even if he doesn't show it, he is a tad bit paranoid to lose you as well now that you've grown on him so much. Perhaps this is why he turns into such a controlling individual around you and has set his mind to achieving a certain level of influence over you and your life. For that he uses his charm and his intelligence to get approval from your friends and your parents to have them put trust in his words and his judgement too if you shouldn't be as obedient and follow his decisions as he would like. In his mind, you just don't know any better though. You're only a human and differently from him, you've seen nothing. Nishio thinks of himself as better suited to make decisions involving your life.

🎓​He can't help himself at times from stepping closer to you and taking a few deep sniffs of your smell. As good and experienced he may be in regards of his hunger, a few weak moments still happen from time to time. He keeps everything a secret from you as long as he can though, including why he always has to accompany you and why you aren't allowed to walk around alone at night. When the time comes for you to find out though, Nishiki actually uses it as a way to blackmail and manipulate you further. If it wouldn't have been for him, you would have been attacked multiple times already by a ghoul. The only reason why you're still alive today is because he protected you and fought for you against other ghouls who planned to ambush you. Don't you understand him? You need him.

Shuu Tsukiyama

🍷​Tsukiyama is a self-proclaimed gourmet in the world of ghouls and one who wouldn't even shy away from cannibalism if it would present him with a new and unique flavor to explore and present to other ghouls. So when he one day just walks through the city and you just happen to pass him on the street, leaving a trail of your sweet scent behind you, he knows that he has found his next attraction, his next meal for him to taste and gush about. He doesn't just abduct you instantly though as he thinks of such a sudden act as bland, tasteless and beneath him. Instead it almost appears as if this young man is courting you at first with sweet words and lots of presents whilst simultanously having to swallow back his saliva by constantly being surrounded by your excellent and mouth-watering aroma.

🍷​His obsession for your mere blood deepens during this time where the unknown eye just assumes that this flamboyant young man is just courting you. Your company is genuinely enjoyable and he soon starts thinking about you as more than just the next fantastic meal for him to discover and present to others. Your personality is adorable and sweet and he genuinely enjoys teasing you and making you a tad bit uncomfortable. This triggers the abduction though because Shuu is ridiculously jealous and possessive over you all of a sudden and even with romantic feelings now involved, Shuu is still a sadist. In one moment he can be sweet, clingy and doting and in the next moment he pins you down with a creepy grin on his face as he rips your shirt away from your body, sniffing your bare skin and letting his tongue glide across you before letting his teeth sink into your flesh, enjoying his taste of your sweet blood that he won't share with anyone else.

🍷​By the time his father finds out about you and the way his son has treated you, your already covered in bite marks and scared for your life. Needless to say, you're rescued from Shuu and taken care of by the Tsukiyama household with Shuu strictly forbidden to see you. The man throws the biggest scene ever as he throws a temper tantrum, begs his father to let him see you again only to start crying when his father tells him harshly off and refuses to let his son see you until he has learnt how to treat the person he claims to love. Mirumo is utterly disappointed with the way his son has treated you, apologizes to you and promises you to never let such terrible things happen to you again. Shuu is kept for as long away from you until his father deems him to have learned his lesson, although even then Mirumo still is in the same room as you when Shuu can finally visit you again.

Uta

🎭You've stumbled by sheer chance into his store but find yourself staying for a while longer since you've never seen someone like Uta before. Uta, upon first meeting you, seems to realize that you are quite special too. He can tell as much from your scent that even makes his mouth water a bit but he hides it very well as he just starts chatting with you about random stuff now that you're here anyways. Initially he doesn't seem to care much for you, seems only interested to see how long you can manage to stay alive with that sweet blood of yours. As time piles on though and you continue to visit his shop since you find the owner of it so unique though, he has a chance of heart as he decides that you're too special to be killed. It would be a pity if he would lose his little muse because some ghouls couldn't control themselves now, wouldn't it?

🎭Uta is a bit more lazy so he wouldn't want to go on a killing spree or stalk you everyday if he can take other meassurements to ensure that no other ghoul touches. His occupation as a ghoul who crafts masks for a lot of ghouls is a small help as he always finds out about rumors and current events through his customers by sparking some conversation with them. If one of his customers happens to mention a human with very sweet blood, Uta automatically knows who he has to target if it should come down to it. All of his laziness aside though, Uta can be exceptionally cruel and sadistic if he should ever come to the point where he has to get rid of a threat. He takes your protection very serious so he would be damned if he would let someone else ever dare to touch you and take you away from him.

🎭You've grown accustomed to Uta's very quirky sides. He is just very weird so at one point you stop protesting when he sometimes leans closer to you and starts sniffing you like some sort of dog. Uta keeps his identity initially a secret from you too but eventually he just decides to tell you about what he is. Trying to escape is useless, he's locked the door up so you have nowhere to run. No reason to be so skittish though, he doesn't plan to kill you. He'd just like you to be his, his sweet muse. If you do as he says, he'd even let you leave again. If you tell anyone though or try to run away, he will come for you and he will find you. Uta is quite chill most of the time but he has his short sadistic moments where he just decides that a small taste won't hurt and so you can only sob silently as teeth cut through your skin to taste your blood only to have him afterwards hush and comfort you through your pain.

Haise Sasaki

🔳​Sasaki is more responsible and mature although also painfully good-willed to the point where he might appear as a tad bit naive. He isn't aware who he used to be in his past though so perhaps that's why he can be the way he is. He works to protect people against ghouls so his darling falls into the category of people he has sworn to protect. Yet something about their scent is quite enticing and sweet even for him but he would never admit that. He knows that it would sound very creepy to others and he himself recoils out of shame and embarrassment whenever he gets a bit too lost in the scent of yours. Instead he hides all of his thoughts and just acts around you like he acts around everyone else. A bit more reserved but still very polite. Maybe just a tad bit kinder to make up for thinking about you in such unsettling ways, even if you don't know about that.

🔳​Perhaps his willingness to be nicer around you to make himself feel better about his thoughts regarding your scent are what really starts his obsession as he spends more time with you. Partially to still do everything to make himself feel less guilty and partially because he is capable of realizing that every other ghoul would come after you for your sweet blood. Because he spends such an abundance of time with you, he really starts getting to know you and even starts developing feelings for you. You're kind and adorable and some part of him just wants to protect you from this cruel world that will rip you away from him and- He doesn't even know where those dark and intrusive thoughts come from but he knows that he has to push his growing feelings away as such creepy ideas start infiltrating your mind and he finds himself sometimes thinking of just locking you away and shielding you from all evil in this world.

🔳​He knows that he already spends a lot of time with you but somehow this doesn't seem to be enough. He wants to be even more with you but in order to not be seen as too clingy, he starts stalking you. It is embarrassing and shameful but he really can't help himself. He just has to protect you and a small voice in his head always reminds him that something could happen to you whilst he is gone and fuels his paranoia a bit. When you hug him, a part of him really just wants to hold you and never let you go so that he can get lost in your sweet aroma but he holds himself back from doing so, although his body starts slightly trembling as this takes a lot of his self-control. He does his best to hold himself back as good as he can but it's undeniable that some part inside of him, someone else inside of him, just wants to lock you away, keep you and murder everyone who would dare to touch a single strand on your head the wrong way.

It’s funny how all of Kaneki’s love interests (at least the ones I can think of atm) can be divided into pairs.

Eto and Mutsuki: The green haired half ghouls who’s really cool but kinda messed up(talking about Mutsuki’s lil yandere moment and Eto is self explanatory). This group is basically the one that’s not really going anywhere.

Rize and Tsukiyama: The good-looking, book liking, food loving purple haired ghouls who Kaneki goes on a “date” with that ends with him almost being eaten. This is the group that it seems like it’s going well, but they really just wanna eat him. (This isn’t going anywhere either) Stay away from this group Kaneki, it wont end well.

Hide and Touka: The most important, the rabbits. These are the ones with the least in common with each other (kinda opposite vibes, a bit similar at the core ig, idk I love them both) except for the fact they are the closest to Kaneki and their connection to rabbits

BUT it’s also the only ones where it actually goes somewhere. (I despise t0uken but it’s canon so it did go somewhere and we all know Hidekane was pretty close to being canon so I count that)

what does “lucidity” mean in terms of yans? is it like how aware they are of how bad their actions are?

yes! i think gojo is a typically more lucid yandere. he's self aware + accepting of his own immorality. but his reasoning tends to be more delusional so it's not complete lucid.

i think aizawa is a good example of a completely lucid yandere. self-aware and accepting with no desire to particularly justify his actions and a very straightforward reasoning.

deku tends to fall in the middle depending on the circumstance but childhood friend deku lends itself well to utter delusion. given his desire to be a hero despite being quirkless i think that makes sense.

i think a lot of people would also put sanzu from tokyorev here but he's actually closer to gojo in ranking. this is specific but tsukiyama from tokyo ghoul is a good canon example to me

What is your thought about portrayal of yandere in media?

[I haven't seen many males. They tend to just come off as creeps, no different from the random weirdo characters, at least in the stuff I've seen. Saw this one anime with hubby and I literally said "I hate how Peter this guy is being". Like, Shinkawa Kyouji in Gun Gale Online isn't built up properly as a yan, so when he's revealed as one it just turns him into a creep that attempts to rape his love interest till Kirito shows up (seriously why is SwordArtOnline so eager to have characters rape or molest and that's their only character trait?). I will say Shuu Tsukiyama from Tokyo Ghoul is a decent one and he's my favorite character of the series. Now the female yans...Senpia this, senpai that, oh my darling I stab this bitch. I tried to look up some I might have seen and some of the names I know didn't even feel like they were yans. Misa Amane from Death Note never came across as yandere to me. More like a big ass simp. But a real legit one I knew of...Kotonoha Katsura from School Days.]

It will be one of the three childhood friends to lovers ships, that being Kuroken, Iwaoi and Tsukiyama. Each ship is here twice because you’re voting for the ship and the Yandere. I know there are other ships I could do this for. Like most ships I could twist to suit this but this is how I wanted to do this. I did consider making Kindaichi x Kunimi a choice but ultimately decided not to. Also when I say “she” I mean the other girl in the song who they kill.

Heya, I love your writing! So glad to see you're taking requests again. I know this is a older fandom, but I've had this idea for a while and I'm excited to read your take on it.

During his cruel phase Shuu wanted to share a "romantic dinner" with his darling. That of course being human flesh, and of course not eating was not a option.

Despite the shame and horror of it, his darling actually enjoyed the taste and begins to develop a craving for it. But never lets anyone know about it, especially Shuu, even after his personality change.

Eventually she gives in to her urges and starts sneaking little bits of meat every few months until she's caught (who catches her is up to you).

How would Shuu Tsukiyama (and maybe his father) react to finding all this out?

A forbidden craving

🍷You remember that night very clearly. The dark sky above you, the soft glow of the candlelight, the expensive cutlery and of course the highlight of the dinner, the dish. It’s served on a plate so clean that you can see your own reflection in it and in the middle of it is the meat placed. You remember how perfectly cooked it look, resembling an expensive cut of steak as the smell infiltrates your nostrils and you feel your mouth watering. Yet you don’t trust Shuu, you’ve never been able to trust him. He’s sickly obsessed with you and you never know on which days he’ll be a dramatic and clingy bastard and on which days he’ll be a sadistic, dramatic and clingy bastard. So your guard is up when he ushers you to sit down, very gentlemanly on this evening as he sits down with you, giving you a sweet smile. You don’t dig in when he starts enjoying the meat, your gaze continues to be wary and eventually notices and asks you what’s wrong.

🍷You swallow heavily as you dare to ask him about the meat, about the origin. The smile on his face returns but you instantly notice that it isn’t as sweet anymore, there’s a twisted undertone to it. He starts explaining that he really wanted you to enjoy a meal with you together as you feel one of his hands reaching out for yours over the table. He really wanted you two to enjoy the same meal together. He doesn’t need to say anymore and he knows that as he gives you a gleeful grin as your eyes widen in horror as you stare at the steak at the plate. It…It’s human flesh. He actually prepared human flesh for you. You want to back away in horror as you shake your head, terrified with the thought of eating this meat but his hand holds your arm tightly as he stands up with a sock grin on his face. Dove, it would be very impolite to not finish the food he has specifically prepared for you.

🍷You can’t do anything as he’s so much stronger for you. You’re left horrified as he cuts the steak into tiny pieces and starts shoving fork after fork into your mouth, cooing and gushing over you as you start crying. You expect to throw up the moment the flesh enters your mouth but as you are forced to chew it, something else happens. Something that happens to be far more frightening. You enjoy the taste. You enjoy the taste of human flesh! Maybe it’s that realization, that guilty shame that has your eyes dwelling up with even more tears but Shuu doesn’t notice your change in distress and you’d never want him to know either. On this night this becomes your secret, one that you lock away deep inside of you. No one is allowed to know that you enjoyed the flesh and that you soon find yourself craving it again.

🍷Even after your abduction where Mirumo gives his son a lesson on how to properly treat his darling and even after Shuu mellows out thanks to the repeated scoldings of his father, you don’t tell him. You have no doubt that Shuu would accept your cravings without a second thought but that’s perhaps what scares you. You know that he’d indulge you in your desires and would probably arrange another romantic dinner with you like he did nearly a year ago when your moral dilemma started. And you fear that you’d give in to your cravings. You can’t let that happen. You’re also a human after all. You try to satiate your hunter by eating meat of animals and thanks to Shuu you’re able to get expensive Wagyu beef from all of Japan, prepared by masterful chefs. It tastes amazing and delicious beyond description…but it doesn’t satisfy your needs.

🍷It gets worse and worse with each passing week until you finally snap. You ask Shuu where he and all the butlers working in the Tsukiyama household get their nutrition from and he gladly tells you. You mask your question as harmless curiosity but in reality you’re planning to snuggle in meat too to feed from a bit. It is shameful and guilty pleasure whenever you’re able to get hold of human flesh and consume it secretly. The pleasure and enjoyment a mere spark for a moment before the shame, the disgust, the guilt threaten to crush your heart yet with each taste you crave more. You spend days in a visibly bad mood, unable to comprehend how you can enjoy feeding from the flesh of your own kind. Those emotions have a gravity to them that pulls you down and often pushes tears into your eyes. Sometimes those tears and all the guilt, confusion and self-hatred with it and Shuu always rushes to you when he hears your sobs. His heart hurts seeing you crying for no apparent reason as he drowns you in hugs and kisses, desperate to find out the reason behind your sorrow.

🍷Shuu runs soon out of ideas for what the reason behind your new sadness is that clings to you like a leech. It causes him to turn slightly frantic as his biggest wish is to make you happy and to protect you. You never tell him anything, leave him alone to stumble in the darkness with this problem and so he eventually asks Kanae, one of his most trusted servants, to keep an eye out for you. Kanae does so dutifully as she’s loyal for Shuu and just as loyal around you. She also desires to help Shuu to find out the problem behind your spoiled mood and get rid of it to see you happy again. She follows you, stalks you whenever Shuu can’t and is mindful to not get caught within the act. So perhaps it’s no surprise when she catches you in the act of smuggling human meat. Your heart drops as you see her standing there, staring at you with shocked eyes as she’s actually speechless for a while. You burst out in tears then and there.

🍷The whole household is surprised as no one saw this coming and you wish to die in that moment where Kanae brings you home and explains to Mirumo and Shuu what she’s seen. Fitting to your expectations though, Shuu takes the news well though. He’s a bit surprised to hear it but accepts your cravings quickly, actually excited as it means that both of you can share meals together again. If you have a female anatomy it also means that you’ll be able to carry his children because this man has a slight baby fever. He’s oblivious to the troubles feelings you have about your cravings but Mirumo sees what his son is in his excitement too blind to initially notice. He’s not judging you for your desire though but seeks you out for a talk later as he can understand why this situation would cause you emotional distress and wants to offer you at least a bit of guidance and comfort. As long as his in-law is healthy and happy, which by all means is by extension guaranteeing also his own son’s happiness, he’ll support you as good as he can.

Fate is a cruel Mistress

Tsukiyama Shuu x female reader

Warnings: Themes of stalking, slight obsession, mention of blood.

Summary: Fate was as much of a cursing as it was a blessing. And it handed [Name] a very cruel hand of cards, involving loss, bitterness, and a ghoul who thought the world of her. 

This is a practice scenario to see how well I can write for Tsukiyama. Feedback and comments are highly appreciated for this.

Going to that coffee shop that day had been a mistake. One that she wished she could take back and prevent from happening in hopes to change her present. Sadly, such things were only fiction and her reality ever more real. Anteiku was the closest coffee shop to [Name] and she was a little thirsty. She should have kept going a few minutes and grabbed something from the shop. 

It was in that very coffee shop that her Fate became intertwined with the roots of another’s. Tsukiyama Shuu. A man of many talents and a flamboyant individual who could make a show simply by walking into a room. Something that brought a smile to her face at first, given how dramatic he was and how even the simplest of things were turned into grand pieces of art by his words. The glowing light that lured her in, turning her attention away from the gaping jaws that closed in around her, like an Anglerfish luring its prey. 

The second biggest mistake she made was introducing herself to him, from there on, he became her shadow, and she could never escape his thoughts. 

In his eyes, she was orphic; mysterious and entrancing, her blood called to him like a harpy’s charm, and how could he ever refuse such a delight? He would use everything, every trick he had, every sweet lie from his honeyed lips to fill her head. To twist her to him. This [Name] was an oddity to him, but one that he wished to keep, and he intended to. By any means. 

When she would wander around town with her friends, he would smile from a distance, just out of her line of sight. Lavender eyes scanning her form, 

“Oh mon tendre, how wonderful you look today in that outfit.” he muttered to himself, sitting on a bench as his eyes remained locked on [Name] sitting at a café, talking to her friends. The way her [Eye colour] eyes sparkled in the morning light, how she smiled as she laughed. A warmth flourished in his chest at the idea of making her smile like that, of her eyes sparkling like that when she looked at him. Well, if he desired so, he needed to be with her more. But he was not going to risk rushing it, else he would lose her. Patience was the key. 

[Name] regretted meeting up with him all those times. When they would go to the library or bookshops, when they would sit together at cafes and parks. She hated how close she let him get; no, how close she let herself get to him. She felt foolish for how safe she would feel with him, how relaxed and open she was with him. In a span of months, he learnt everything about her. Both when they were together, and not. He learnt how the backdoor of her house had a single lock to it unlike the front door, making it easier to open and catch without causing too much noise. He knew her bedroom was the second door to the left from the top of the stairs, and which floorboards would creak and which didn’t.

And just like that, [Name] was now the property of Tsukiyama. Her disappearance was questioned and investigated but she had vanished without a trace. 

Soft humming was heard coming from the large bed, the silk drapes pulled back lightly to allow light to spill into the bed. Tsukiyama sat there, smiling as he held the [Hair colour] woman close, his fingers petting her hair as he would press a feather kiss on her head every now and again, taking the moment to inhale her lovey scent. 

“Why do you look so sad, mon tendre?” He questioned, his voice lightly sprinkled with soft concern. [Name] blinked before turning to him, a surprising flash of anger on her face. 

“Are you serious? That is your question? You kidnapped me! You broke into my house and kidnapped me! And you wonder why I look sad?!” The fire in her words, the spark flaring up more as she spoke. He doesn’t believe he has seen her angry before, not like this anyway. He found it appealing. 

“You see, my dear-” His words were silenced as a sharp snap was heard, followed by a stinging sensation growing in his cheek. The slap was certainly a surprise, catching him off guard like that. “Now, that was not very nice.” 

Like a switch, his entire aura changed. Darkness filled his eyes as his iris glowed a haunting red, stripping [Name] of her anger and replacing it with a biting coldness that latched down all the way to her bones. Fear. She moved quickly, attempting to jump off the bed and flee but his grip on her latched on, pulling her back down onto the bed, arms wrapping around her, preventing her escape. 

“So cruel, after I do so much for you, you repay my generosity with harsh words and even physical harm. Ungrateful.” He hissed, words once sweet with honey now bitter with venom, how could one man hold such two polar sides? His hold remained form despite her attempted thrashing about, trying to squirm out of his grasp, a mouse trying to escape the hold of a serpent. 

“Get off me, Shuu!” [Name] shouted, escape the only thing screaming in her mind. Her head turning and biting down hard on the ghoul’s hand, earning a chuckle from him. 

“Oh? Is that what you call a bite, my dear? I will show you a proper bite.” Before she could do anything to protest, the material around her shoulder was ripped off and a burning pain was felt as his teeth sunk down into her flesh. Blood stained his lips as something akin to a soft moan rumbled from him at the taste of her blood and flesh. Such a divine texture! Such a sweet taste! Finer than anything he had tasted before, more tender and wonderful! She was divine! 

Before the rush of it all could get to his head too much, he pulled back, his tongue quickly lapping up the sweet crimson liquid from the wound and his lips, savouring the flavour, and revealing the wound on her shoulder. A mark. 

“Let this remind you, my sweet. You are mine now. No one else will dare try to take you from me.” He smiled, kissing the wound as if it was a gesture of affection. A churning sense flipped her stomach, sending another wave of coldness through her body, brushing under her skin and scraping against her bone. 

And people said Fate was a blessing.

Yandere Tsukiyama

[WARNINGS: Kidnapping, cannibalism, forced eating, manipulation]

Tsukiyama peers at you, and the plate of what you could only assume was a human, considering what he did to you last time.

He watches as you fall silent before he sighs, murmuring, “Mon amour, you’ll starve if you don’t eat.”

“Then I’ll starve,” you say quietly, trying not to really upset him, just out of fear.

Tsukiyama is a ghoul, after all.

He gives another sigh. “I don’t want to force you to eat, my love.”

“Don’t come near me,” you spit, your eyes fearful, but angry at the same time.

Tsukiyama abruptly stands and starts striding towards you, eyes angry yet sorrowful.

He always gave that infuriating look whenever he was going to do something you wouldn’t like.

“This is your last chance, my sweet. Eat,” he warns, his eyes emptier than you’ve ever seen them.

You get a chill down your spine from his smooth yet threatening voice, and you silently shake your head, too scared to tell him flatly no.

Shaking his head, Tsukiyama murmurs sadly, “Fine then.” He turns toward the food, grabbing one of the bloody slices before prying your mouth open, ignoring your protests.

And he continues the process until the whole plate is empty.

When he makes you swallow, he backs away, his expression almost taunting as he listens to your gags of disgust.

“You’re— you’re insane!” you cry, tears pouring down your cheeks already.

Tsukiyama says after your cries die down, “I’m trying to keep you safe, amour. You have to eat.”

Giving a hellish sob, you snarl, “I don’t want to eat fucking people!”

“You’ll learn to adjust,” Tsukiyama says with a sharp look. “You just need time.”

You rack your mind desperately as you sob, “I can’t adjust! I’m not a cannibal and I’m certainly not a ghoul!”

He gives that infuriatingly sympathetic look, which is anything but— as he kneels down and cradles you to his chest.

“S—stop,” you beg, your voice raw from tears. “Stop.”

Tsukiyama dips his head to where it’s laying on your shoulder. “I love you. I just wish you’d understand I’m doing all this because I love you.”

Trying to pull away but failing, you gasp out, “You don’t love me. This is obsession.”

Snarling, Tsukiyama growls, “It is not obsession! It’s love! It’s love!”

“Love isn’t keeping me here by force and killing everyone I love and love certainly isn’t forcing me to eat human body parts,” you say, trying to hold back another sob.

That’s when Tsukiyama lets out a wail.

You are suddenly held down by Tsukiyama, and his eyes are angry— blood-thirsty.

It’s not like the first time you’ve seen those eyes, though.

And you knew what was happening.

“S—stop hurting me this way, darling... you can’t do this t—t—to me!” wails Tsukiyama, his nails gripping tightly into your side.

You feel everything come to a halt.

Don’t let him bait you.

Don’t let him bait you, y/n.

“Just let go of me,” you sigh, feeling sticky from all the tears he poured onto you.

He reluctantly complies, but doesn’t let go of your hand. “Ma chérie, I apologize. Let’s just... let’s just go to bed early, yes?”

You sadly blink the remaining tears away from your eyes and try to ignore his.

And with that, you nod.

“Please, tell me more about your award,” Tsukiyama says, raising a glass of a dark red liquid to his lips. He was one of the top gourmets in the city, and after you’d won a small cooking competition, he’d invited you to dinner. At the start of the evening, you’d been extremely flattered, but now he was starting to unnerve you. 

His eyes never seemed to leave you, and all his attention was on you, which would have been flattering otherwise, but there was something in his eyes that didn’t feel right. 

“Well, it’s not anything special.” You flash a smile and cut into the meat on your plate. “It’s an old recipe that my grandmother used to have in her secret cookbook.” The meat yields easily, light pink on the inside – a little too rare for your taste. “When she passed, I inherited the cookbook and according to her will, I would share at least her recipe of meatloaf to the world.” You giggle softly, stabbing the meat with the silver fork. 

“Very interesting. Were you two close?” You nod, not wanting to elaborate. It had been a few months since her passing, but discussing her for long periods of time was difficult. Tsukiyama seemed to take the hint and changed the topic. He seems unable to dine without constant conversation, you remark.

“What do you think of the meat? I cooked it myself for this dinner.” The pride in his voice is unmistakable, but the shine in his eyes tells you that you can’t lie and say that it’s the best thing you’ve tasted. He wants the truth.

“It’s very juicy and perfectly seasoned,” you say, putting another small piece in your mouth. “It’s a little bit too rare for my tastes though,” you admit. Tsukiyama shakes his head, muttering under his breath.

“Why didn’t I know that you liked your meat more cooked!?” He’s louder than he planned to be (which doesn’t come as a surprise), and you can’t help but ask:

“This is our first meeting. I can’t possibly expect you to know how cooked I like my meat,” you try to joke, setting the cutlery down. The meat is indeed good, but you can’t put a finger on what sort of meat it is. It tastes a bit leaner than pork and has a distinct aftertaste that you can’t link to beef. Not that you’re a culinary expert or anything like that. 

“So what sort of meat is it? I can’t quite place it?” You force a new thread of conversation, feeling uncomfortable from Tsukiyama’s small outburst. He collects himself as soon as he hears your voice, eyes immediately on you. You shudder, feeling under-dressed in your evening gown all of a sudden.

“Remember one of your opponents in the competition? I think her name was Layla?”
