First review of the season is 100-man!

Brief: Yusuke Yotsuya is a lonely boy who doesn’t care much about the world that surrounds him. He prefers this way, simply enjoying playing games at home. One day he and other classmates Iu Shindo, Kusue Hakozaki Yuka Tokitate are send to another world were they became the heroes of such world. A new set of quest starts for them, in a world they believe is a virtual reality.

Well this one was kind of interesting, at first seems quite simple. We have the mc that’s more skillful than the other crew members, he’s kind of self center and behaves like the world is just a simple game. The rest of the members aren’t a big deal, one is a shy and unskillful girl (Kusue), the other is popular and nice (Iu) and then we have an otaku with a weird but kind of strong personality (Yuka).

Their adventures at first were okay, like not that interesting, but every time they achieve a quest and ask a question to the game master it became more intense. I liked how things turned during their last quest, even though was weird though, the best part was when they learned that the world they were in was not a virtual thing but just another world with real people and creatures.

The plot and characters development during this season weren’t a big deal. Animation was good, full of colors but there wasn’t anything marvelous about it, fighting moments weren’t that memorable. CGI was a bit annoying I don’t know why it takes life any seriousness of the moment. Music is average.

I think it was okay to watched, ending was more interesting that the rest of the series but hopefully season 2 that is already announced would be better. Still don’t know if I’m going to watch that.

I'm Standing on a Million Lives 2nd Season New PV Announces July 2 Premiere with Re-cap Episode

    The official Japanese website for the TV anime I'm Standing on a Million Lives announced today that its second season is set to premiere with a re-cap episode of its first season on TOKYO MX, BS11, and MBS on July 2, 2021. The second season's first episode will be aired from the following week.

  In the re-cap episode, Yuka Tokitate, who is also doing video streaming in the story, looks back on the quests they have done and explains their situation to viewers. You can also watch new scenes produced for the episode.

  The site has also started streaming a 90-second new PV featuring the second season's ED theme song "Subversive" by Kanako Takatsuki, who performed the first season's OP theme "Anti world." She is best known as Hanamaru Kunikida in the Love Live! Sunshine!! franchise, and "Subversive" will be released as her second solo single on August 11, 2021.

I'm Standing on a Million Lives, annunciata per ottobre la serie animata

In arrivo una nuova avventura fantasy dall’autore di Trinity Seven!

Annunciata la produzione di una serie animata basata sul manga fantasy/isekai “100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru” (I'm Standing on a Million Lives) di Naoki Yamakawa e Akinari Nao, l’autore di “Trinity Seven”. 

L’anime, il cui debutto è previsto per ottobre, è diretto da Kumiko Habara presso lo studio Maho Film (If It's for My Daughter, I'd Even Defeat a Demon Lord).La sceneggiatura sta venendo curata da Takao Yoshioka (High School DxD, Bugie d’aprile), mentre il design dei personaggi è realizzato da Eri Kojima, Toshihide Masudate (In Another World With My Smartphone) e Yuuko Ooba. Le musiche sono firmate da Ken Itou (Hina Logic from Luck & Logic, Handa-kun)

Assieme alle due compagne di classe Iu e Kusue, il giovane Yuusuke si ritrova improvvisamente trasportato in uno strano e sconosciuto mondo abitato da creature mitologiche. Appena arrivati, incontrano qualcuno che si fa chiamare il Game Master che poi assegna loro una missione a tempo limitato. Per aiutarli a completarla, egli conferisce a Iu e Kusue i ruoli di Mago e Guerriero, mentre a Yuusuke viene data casualmente la classe di... Contadino!

Se vogliono rimanere in vita e proteggere il mondo reale dai demoni e dai mostri che incontrano, non hanno altra scelta che continuare a combattere e completare tutte le quest.

Il manga viene serializzato sulle pagine della rivista Bessatsu Shounen Magazine dal giugno del 2016 e vedrà pubblicato il 9° volumetto il prossimo 9 marzo.

Fall 2020 TV Anime I'M STANDING ON MILLION LIVES Has Already Completed Production of All 12 Episodes

    Many TV anime in the spring 2020 season had to stop broadcasting new episodes due to the impact of the COVID-19 infection. But we won't have to worry about that with this anime. The official Twitter for the fall 2020 TV anime I'M STANDING ON MILLION LIVES announced on July 13 that production of its all 12 episodes has been already completed three months before its premiere in Japan. 

  The anime's official Twitter wrote: "Declaration of Completion - We hereby declare that the TV anime 'I'M STANDING ON MILLION LIVES,' which is scheduled to be broadcast in October 2020, has successfully completed all 12 episodes three months before its premiere, despite the impact of the recent social situation. For those of you waiting for its broadcast, we hope you will be able to wait in peace."

    The TV anime adaptation of Naoki Yamakawa (story) and Akinari Nao (art)'s fantasy manga Hyakuman no Inochi no Ueni Ore wa Tatteiru / I'M STANDING ON MILLION LIVES is set to premiere in Japan in October 2020.

  Kumiko Habara (Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion assistant director) makes her TV series directorial debut. Takao Yoshioka (Boarding School Juliet) serves as series composition writer, MAHO FILM (If It's for My Daughter, I'd Even Defeat a Demon Lord) works on anime production.

  And, 26-year-old voice actress Kanako Takatsuki, best known as Hanamaru Kunikida in the Love Live! Sunshine!! franchise and a member of its voice actress idol unit Aqours, will make her solo singer debut with the anime's OP theme song "Anti world."
