F-14 FUN FACT OF THE DAY #62

When the Navy Blue Angels were looking for an aircraft to replace the F-4 Phantom II in the mid-1970s, the program manager really wanted the F-14 Tomcat but did not want all of the weapons control systems, deeming them wasteful. After discussing with Grumman, it was concluded that the cost of producing an F-14 without the weapons systems would be greater than the cost to produce an F-14 with the weapon systems. They settled for the next best choice, the A-4 Skyhawk.

First Time Drawing Some Alien Robots

Tried to draw some transformers for the first time.  I don’t really like how the tomcat, or the corsair turned out, but the tomcat was my first time, and the corsair was just me feeling unmotivated.  I find this funny because I can’t even draw the majority of canon transformers I know, and yet I’m already creating designs for actual planes.  I may be cringe, but I am free.  (Also, yes, I know that the Harrier looks like nightshade from earthspark, LET ME BE-)  I made all of them autobots because why not?  I didn’t want my friends screaming at me because of something like me making their favorite plane a member of the antagonistic team.
