3. favorite rarepair

Interesting one! I don't know that I have one of those? I enjoy willashiv posting but other than that I'm not sure... not really a rarepair at all but on tumblr it could be considered that: I actually really enjoy Kendall/Naomi.. I think they have a really interesting thing going on and I LOVE the self-recognition through the other thing happening w them and the way she's very clearly a narrative mirror and kind of the implications of that .. also i love that she genuinely really cares about him. plus i just like their scenes together! maybe doesn't answer the question at all but...

7. season 4 predictions? (/is it futile to even guess?)

this is interesting obviously bc we know some stuff from what people have gathered from the shooting. but okay some of my thoughts:

stewy is gonna be approached by the siblings and I think (hope) there's gonna be a double-agent kind of situation going on where he acts as their informant from the inside while obv still acting as if on Logan's side (as he really doesn't have a choice abt the latter part). maybe that's just wishful thinking, though

i've been THINKING about whose queer friend that we know has been cast is gonna come to Willa & Connor's wedding. My bet is, for some reason, on Willa or Kendall. Idk. This is based on nothing but vibes, either way can't wait for that to come up

I have some more spoiler-y thoughts that I think are pretty plausible based on what we've seen (and i think most ppl know about but anyway) and I don't wanna put here in case someone doesn't wanna know.. idk! honestly never know what jesse armstrong could even possibly come up with

this one's really hard to answer because no way can i just pick one, i'll just give you a collection. everything in my #art tag is so fucking cool. this shiv drunk walk home edit fucks really hard. the editing on this tame impala succ edit is so good, and it's pretty underrated imo. HAVE to mention cousin greg babooshka edit that changed my life in that it made me start watching the show a year ago. Lorde kenstewy edit my beloved <3 Succession relay edit, edit of ALL TIME. this tomshiv failmarriage edit means. so much to me. ken ideal husband edit <3 no he would not make the ideal husband, no i don't care <3 also this tomshiv marina edit !!! very good! THEE super rich kids roy siblings edit of all time. OHH Also good time to mention one of my youtube faves, the shiv everything I wanted edit. so good!! this one is incredibly, truly incredible as well. lastly of course THEE last kenstewmas edit.

time for my kinda cheesy end of an era post, i guess. 

s5&6 kinda disappointed me, ngl, even if they had some good bits too. the lost potential makes me want to tear my hair out sometimes. but overall i’m still glad i got into this dramatic lil show. so this is me being sappy about it. 

live watching s3 was an incredible experience. it was a storytelling high, and one of the best love stories and seasons of television i have ever seen. the quality structure of the OG meeting skamfr’s talent for emotional intensity and magical moments. the chemistry, the symbolism, the perfect rhythm, the Feelings. god tier, truly. it remains my fave season of any skam, ever. and it was just so much fun and so engrossing. the fandom is also part of that, reading all the incredible meta and reactions and fics, the lovely gifs and edits, it was just such a communal rush. and so was hearing the actors and crew talking about their craft and the sheer level of passion they put in there was so inspiring. this show has so much talent in it and i can’t wait to see what they all do next. (well like the actors at least lol)

on a personal level it really give me a creative boost like whoa. it pushed me to put my writing out there in a way I had always been afraid to do and the feedback i got back was so fucking encouraging. like...this is such a fucking gift i got. when i will be done with this fandom, it’s very probable i will have written over a million words. that is insane, and such good practice, and i feel so much closer to my dreams of being an actual writer now. and just analysing the show, figuring out how it was put together, why it was sometimes so good and sometimes so bad, was so interesting, really, like a sort of speed writing course. even when they fuck up, it’s so compelling. (even tho sometimes, wow how i do not understand their writing choices at all.)

i also met a few people that became real friends, and that i intend on keeping in my life for a long time. i also had such interesting convos w people on here and anons, about far reaching subjects like interculturality and bisexuality and mental health and a lot of other things, it’s been really cool at times. thank you guys <3

so many of these characters mean the world to me. Lucas, who taught me to stop running away from my intense feelings and the importance of being real and going for what i want. Eliott, who just...inspired me so fucking much and showed me that even though i struggled with mental illness i was still worthy of love and that again, intense emotions didn’t need to always be a curse and that softness and sensitivity could be a lovely thing. Imane, who made me think about not always shouldering other ppl’s burdens and being more open with my anger, Alexia, who made me feel a lot more confident in my body and my bisexuality. And yes, Lola, too, who made me feel so many things this season, who made me reckon with my own self destructive tendencies and encouraged me to open up to my friends about my current struggles and let them help me. its flaws set aside, this show is so good at creating vibrant characters, and it’s been amazing to journey at their side. i cannot wait to read the fics about how amazing their lives are going to become. 

and the fandom...well, the fandom is a lot like the show. occasionally brilliant, probably way too intense, and often annoying as fuck. ‘i’m kinda relieved it will wind down but i will also miss it. i hope you all got something valuable from this experience. i hope it pushed you to take your dreams more seriously, that it made you feel validated and seen at least occasionally, that it made you more creative and insightful and compassionate, that you learned some healthy distance from the internet, that you met some cool people, that you at least had some fun, and i wish you all the best <3 let’s keep in touch if you want to

so thank you, skam france, you wonderful nightmare of a show. it’s been real.

2019 and the Importance of Loving Jin

Hello loves! It’s not so cool when we start the year with drama but Jin is getting online hate and have nasty hashtags trended by some freaking Solo Taehyung 'fans’ that constantly say nasty things about Jin because of his relationship with Taehyung. It’s truly uncool. Can u imagine to be receive hate just because he posted that birthday picture (a pic where, let’s face it, our bday boy looks like a manly delish boyfriend and we should have been thanking Jinnie forever to bless us with this close up of his VV), a pic Taehyung himself sent and told Jin to post?

The behaviour of these solo Taehyung stans is so disrespectful. I cannot even imagine how Jin must have felt to not only get the hate but to answer kindly and respectfully, he didn’t even had to explain himself, but he did because guess what, unlike the haters, Jin is a kindhearted person. 

Jin had to step away from the toxicity of social media last year. This is a year that Jin has lost ppl in his family, that due to enlistment is one of his last years in OT7, that he’s struggled to the point of giving all up, Taehyung himself was clearly super affected by Jin’s emotional state (have these people even saw what happened at MAMA?) and still some solo Taehyung stans think it is ok to disrespect Jin like that in Tae’s name? How do these ppl think Taehyung is feeling right now? Taehyung who said it out loud that Jin is the person in BTS he likes the most?  

And when ppl ask me why Jin and Taehyung cannot even post pics together like the other pop ships, to be paired or interact fondly, there you have a reason: because of some solo stans - mk line only stans + ML shippers who don’t care about respect or OT7. Even if these people have no idea about what these two men (and all the other BTS members) had to endure in private, how hard it was for them to live a public life and still maintain a relationship, even so these so called fans have no right to disrespect any BTS member in Tae’s name. 

There has been tweets on solo Taehyung stans reporting Jin stans for protecting Jin from the hate. BH probably cannot do a thing about it but one cannot help but feeling so disappointed about the toxicity of this fandom and how these solo stans, mk line stans and some ml shippers keep attacking Jin just because they think they think Taehyung is theirs and Jin is not worthy of him. Jin sees that, he is human, he’s been feeling hurt and probably is self conscious every time he interacts with Taehyung. No one should make another person feel like they are less, the fact this is happening with Jin because of his relationship with Taehyung is truly heartbreaking.

But we must not attack these solo Taehyung stans or any troll because we don’t want to empower them. And most importantly we must never blame him or think this is Taehyung’s fault, because it isn’t. There is nothing Taehyung can do to change the mind set of the delusional disrespectful trolls. Sadly I think these people won’t change but what we can do is trying to stop the hate with love like we did with the love hashtags to Jin.

We have to be aware that this is happening and we answer it positively by loving Jin better and louder if we can, to spread love and recognize his talent. To have him trending in a positive light, not victimize him or accuse others, but to shine a light on him. We want him to have a brilliant 2019, we want his solo song to come out, we want him to have the opportunity to shine and to never feel less. Being messages, edits, gifs, fanart, events, we can cherish Jin and make him being proud of himself and of us. 

As for Taejin, we have had so much gold in 2018 and I feel so thankful for both Jin and Taehyung for being there for each other on all highs and lows. I think it is great that we have more vocal Taejin supporters on Twitter and Youtube and it’s amazing to see many posts about out two shinning stars. It would be great if we could grow our community to be even more supportive about our love for them them in 2019. If Jin sees his hashtags, it would be great if he could feel loved by ppl who also love Taehyung instead of the constant hate he gets from Tae’s so called fans. We as Taejin supporters love both equally and it would be great if Jin could have a notion that we care and we protect that special bond. We may be tiny next to the pop ships, but as Jin and Taehyung, we are respectful, kind and we support them no matter what.

And to Jinnie who will never get to read that but to whom I send good vibes every day: I love you with all my heart, you are the most gentle, humble, funny, generous man, your talent was the guiding sun in times my life was only darkness, you deserve appreciation, respect, joy, health and all the love your huge heart can hold. Stay strong handsome prince and always be yourself!
