Once Danny was an adult, he decided to join Ellie in her ‘permanent world tour’. It’s better than staying in Amity where the opinion of Phantom hasn’t gotten much better. Besides, the portal caused the veil to get weaker, allow ghost to wreak havoc where ever they want.

He’s met a lot new ghost cause of this too. Old as Mycenaean Greece to non humans who came to Earth and died there. Danny’s learnt so much from them that he’s basically a walking in Encyclopaedia.

So, Danny’s decided “fuck it.” and has it became a part-time history teacher. It’s fun! He knows the details by heart and is able to make it more fun than just droning on about the same old wars and whatever. He enjoys it, the kids enjoy it and the ghosts having their stories told!

Of course, this does cause some problems when people try to correct him. Danny’s argument? “I got them correct sources.”

And when anyone asks him how knows his sources are correct? “My source was there when it happened.”

Cue the dc world thinking that Danny’s just some immortal guy whose decided to use his immortality for good(TM)

i'd need to reread aqua bloom olivine's rooms to be sure, but his siblings thanking eiden for "taking olivine out to play" still haunts me to this day because of everything it implies

"taking someone out to play" seems like something kids would say rather than adults, so it's pretty safe to assume that olivine's siblings are still young; he's stated to look like he's 25 in the first art book, which gives us a gap in ages

throughout the events it's been clear that olivine had a lot of his firsts with eiden, somewhat reliving parts of a childhood he didn't get to have and learning "play" in the broad sense of the word

could it be that when olivine's parents had him and saw the gemstone they IMMEDIATELY arranged for the church to take him in and for him to be educated in all the ways, and completely ignored ever trying to raise him like they'd raise any other child? and then they had more kids once olivine was mostly out of their hands (i'd assume around when he joined sorcerer's trials aka in his puberty, wish i had all silver confessor rooms unlocked rn i need to see)

so this could explain the age gap between olivine and his siblings and them seeming more like any kids you see around, while olivine probably barely saw them, and if he did was instilled with being parentified

the story has a lot of mentions of how other people see the church, but i don't think we see a lot of how it actually is? we have these examples of olivine, or of kolt trying to present to the church that you genuinely can remove a gemstone, but we don't actually see the church's answer to these, how they see these rather extreme examples of devotion and of essence science

ch16 is still amazing for confirming we had having half-jesus go fucking around the continent and picking up a super devoted, hot priest that prays to the spirits which his dad was best buds with
