I was your Secret Santa! I decided to write you something with Knockout and Starscream!

(Thank you again for the art of my OC, Golden Blue and Soundwave, I want to eat it! That's how much I liked it!)

Knockout had always been fussy about his appearance. It was one of his defining qualities.

Starscream tended to his appearance as he needed to, but it wasn't a top priority for him. Even if he did enjoy looking his best sometimes.

There is pleasure in a pair of freshly waxed wings after all.

Maybe that's why he let Knockout talk him into letting the medic practice or do a, Starscream thinks the words that Knockout used were 'Spa day,' on him. Some human term Knockout had picked up.

Starscream didn't know what it meant, nor did he particularly care.

But, just once, he decides to indulge Knockout and his odd ideas.

Surely it couldn't be that bad, Knockout would probably just polish and buff the hell out of him, and Starscream would just be super shinny afterwards.

"Sit, sit, I need to find my nail buffer," Knockout says as he gestures towards the seat he'd placed down earlier in preparation for this.

Starscream takes a seat, despite actually still finding he had some reservation about this.

It's not that he didn't trust Knockout. Okay, maybe trust was a strong word, but it's the closest to what would cause him to allow something like this.

"What is that?"

"It's just an oil mixture, don't get so fussy, Screamer," Knockout says as he stirred said paint mixture with his makeshift brush, "It's not like I mixed acid into it."

"I'm not getting fussy," Starscream immediately said in retort.

"Then let me put this on your faceplate," Knockout says, leveling the brush at Starscream.

Starscream cringes away from it for a moment before he relents, allowing Knockout to start painting the oil mixture onto his faceplate with even strokes.

"You actually have really gorgeous servos," Knockout says as he works the nail buffer over Starscream's claws.

"They're one of my better assets," Starscream replies.

"I assume you'd lump your wings into that category as well?"

"But of course, there's good pride in a good pair of wings."

The buffer and polish Knockout takes to his wings are more Starscream's style. Something familiar.

He somehow manages to fall into a comfortable lull, with the sound of the buffer as light background noise.

He's pretty sure he even heard Knockout start humming.

Starscream, gazes down at his freshly sharpened and buffed claws as Knockout gives him a quick peck on the side of his faceplate.

"Well, at least you look lovely now, darling."

Well, maybe Knockout's work isn't all that bad.

Maybe Starscream might be convinced to do this again.

my fav piece of history ever will always be that time when Great-Britain and France finally had an agreement to stop hostilities but when the two guys sent to meet each other were having dinner together, the British one couldn’t hold back his sarcastic ass and he told the French that French people only fight for money when British people fight for honour, which the French babe answered “well, people always fight for something they don’t have” and it ended up in a diplomatic incident.
