Peder Mønsted (December 10, 1859 - 1941) was a Danish landscape painter of the Naturalist school. He was trained at the Royal Academy, but moved over to P.S. Krøyer’s painting school, and then abroad to France.

But before that he visited the city of Aalborg and produced this nice canvas at age 21:
