Aaron Z is always like that dad that always says he’s not tired but when he actually falls asleep and the people around him tell him, all he says is,“i was just resting my eyes”. everyone knows he’s lying. even him.

but moments like that weren’t often to really see, it wasn’t really often to see him sleep at all. the members would know, especially Aaron T, that if he doses off that like he must be VERY tired.

10/16/2001 was the day that you and Aaron had went over to Aaron T’s apartment for a little get together. Aaron T is always having little get together a with the members, some days they last until sunrise and all you guys do is just talk (maybe even sing and dance).

On this specific day, Aaron Z, your boyfriend had stayed up so late. he knew that you guys had to go out that evening too but even after trying convincing him to sleep he still was still pushing himself to work even more.

“Aaron, you should take a nap or something” you say while rubbing his back. “wait, wait just a few more minutes”, he says while adjusting one more thing on his computer.

at that point you just gave up because you knew he wasn’t going to go to sleep. Later that night you and Z made your way to T’s and you could already see the bags under his eyes. he was so sleepy.

“i told you you should’ve slept”, you say repeatedly to which he only agrees with you and nods his head. he knows you were right but he was just to focused on what he was working on, he had tunnel vision for real.

after around 30 minutes of being there and getting settled in on the couch you could see him drifting off asleep.

“Z!!!” taeyoung yells,“Don’t go to sleep!!!” “I’m not, i’m not!” Z says always cranky too. “you just closing your eyes?” robaire says back “mhm” is all Z would say as he falls back asleep.

the group would just continue doing what they’re doing while Z gets his beauty rest. As the guys were starting to turn on a movie you started to realize how tired you were too. the whole time you were trying to convince Z to sleep you were up too.

so what do you do? what everyone else would’ve done. cuddled up right next to him.

after the movie was over the guys just took many pictures of the two of you. gushing over how cute you guys look together. and ofc calling Z a brick for how he was sleeping.

i've recently been a bit obsessed with tae so i figured why not share some stuff with the class!

a whole bunch of bullet points below the cut...

a comfy clothes advocate. its not comfy? its not fashion. hoodies, big jackets, baggy overshirts; you name it, he wears it

speaking of, he lives in corduroy trousers. honestly, why be uncomfortable these days? he’s already got so much work to do

he also never wears black. he feels too edgy and out of place when he wears it. plus, that was t’s thing when they were thirteen

tae absolutely adores animals. yes, we know this. but you must understand: he LOVES them. he picks up stray birds, chases after foxes, talks to squirrels. growing up with a dog really brings something out in you

his favourite animals are bats though, closely followed by dogs. something about baby bats just gets to him

despite the whole 4town shabang, tae’s still an introvert. he doesn’t really like being the centre of attention, and it took almost their entire first tour to be somewhat okay on stage. why do you think he doesn’t have a single solo line in any of their songs?

he’s very upfront though. if someone’s out of line for whatever reason he won’t hesitate to present his thoughts. it’s not in a harsh way or anything, but he automatically announces a differing opinion, even if it’s just that someone thinks that minecraft is bad

yeah that’s right, he’s a gamer. he wouldn’t call himself good at video games but he grew up with a ds… and he plays a lot with z and jesse

tae bleaches his hair. yep. you heard me. that blonde is not his natural hair colour… kind of

tae’s hair is naturally brown with an assortment of random blonde strands. out of the band, aaron t is the only one to have seen this in person since tae’s been dyeing it since he was fourteen. t loved how it looked back then, but tae despised it, hence the bleaching (fanart coming soon i got you)

during that fourteen-year-old era, tae also dyed his tips bright pink… and he wants to die his hair green or blue one day

this man was a straight A student, like, he cried when he got a B in maths once and t got an A*

(using an english school system) tae took history, geography, german and psychology (and of course english, maths and sciences) in high school. english was by far his favourite subject, and he reflects his love for language through writing a lot of 4town’s lyrics

He is a neat freak, like if anyone leaves a shirt or piece of clothing on the floor, or if anything isn’t clean, he flips

as the eldest of the group, he always protects the other members, like if anyone says shit abt them on social media or somet he will make about 10 posts shitting on them, Aaron z and Robaire tell him not to tho, saying that they can fight their own battles

jesse doesn’t trust Aaron T with his kids due to the fact that when Aaron t was babysitting, the kids nearly burned the place down while Aaron was asleep. Jesse reminds him of that weekly

His eldest kid is around 6 or 5, and his youngest is 2 or 1 (judging from what I’ve seen from the scene where they appear in the manga) and they’re both boys

he grew up in a fancy home, he’s not like snobby and it wasn’t like rich, but his parents were posh and so he speaks poshly with a bit of a British accent (idk why I thought of this but)

Literally scared for his LIFE of Tae young when he brings any cold-blooded animal around him

He has a pretty good relationship with his dad. I feel like his gentle nature was brought around a gentle family, and something about him gives “raised by a grandparent” vibes, but not quite

Like his dad was raised by a grandparent and then he brought that gentle nature to Z, and it gave them a pretty nice relationship with each other

His dad always supported his passion for anything he liked, whether it was basketball, dance, or music

While on tour, Z would call his dad whenever he got the chance and just talk

Hi!! Can you do some headcannons of 4town receiving fan letters?

4town members’ reactions to fan mail headcanons!!

Robaire - Robaire definitely has a neat box of all of his favorite fan letters that were the most touching to him. Sometimes he will tape them up to his bathroom mirror so that he gets to read all of their positive messages every morning and before bed. He always makes sure he reads as many as he can when he gets the chance and truly appreciates all of the letters from his fans.

Jesse - Aside from his own children, Jesse sees the 4townies as his “second children” (although they definitely do not see him as a dad lol). And so reading their letters makes him feel really grateful that he has that many other people looking up to him too. Jesse keeps some of his favorite letters from fans out so that he can read them whenever he wants, but he definitely has a lot more in storage too.

Tae Young - Tae is heart warmed by all of the messages he gets from fans and he has several bulletin boards filled with art, letters, handmade gifts, and any other fan mail that he receives, and he is constantly buying more because he keeps running out of space on them. Tae wishes he was able to communicate back to them, but he is just grateful that he is able to read as many as he can.

Aaron T - T never throws away fan mail. He has tubs full of them under his bed, in his closet, in the garage. Everywhere. Even if it is the most random, pointless letter, he just has piles and piles of them. Whenever he reads them he just wishes he could give all of his fans big hugs and is constantly complaining about how he really wants to write back and keeps asking if he can, even though he already knows he is not allowed to.

Aaron Z - Z always keeps all of the really sentimental letters because they make him get all emotional (in a good way). Reading all of the encouraging words from fans makes his self esteem a little better because he knows that if this many people aside from the other members love him, he must be doing something right. He keeps his favorite ones in his night stand and reads them before bed or when he’s feeling down.

I thought it would be cute and funny to put that there because I have this one tall guy friend who always tries to be funny by poking/tickling me when I reach for something😭 and that made me think that Z would do that too; however, since I canon him as the most ticklish I know the members wouldn’t let it slide if he tried to be funny so they definitely get back at him!

Let’s start with positions. Besides by spooning,  Z likes the half spoon and sweetheart cradle.

Z’s a big spoon for the most part, he likes holding you and knowing you’re secure with him + he likes the feeling of being able to protect you.

Just hope you don’t piss the bed with how secure his hold is on you, can’t even go to the bathroom w/o having to waking him up

Half spooning is when Z’s on his phone to help tire him out a bit and for the same reason as spooning

Sweetheart’s cradle is for when Z ends up falling asleep first. I hc Z as a pretty light sleeper, so he’d feel your weight on the bed when you lay beside him and pull you in lazily.

Based on a hc I saw that Z’s a good listener, you two have a small chat on how your days went. Laying in bed, facing each other, talking until the other falls asleep. These are the kind of nights Z likes

Robaire

He’s the king of giving back rubs, knows just where to rub your back and pet your head to trigger you to falling asleep.

Will softly sing to help you sleep. Sometimes he’ll play a small backing track of piano or soft guitar to duet with his voice.

If he sees you trying to resist sleeping due to working or just wanting to do whatever you where over sleeping he’ll trick you into falling asleep. Keeping you warm, moving in slow lengthy movements, holding you close and humming some random song, if he sees you fighting sleep he’s gonna do everything he can to make you sleep.

“Mon amour I found this new blanket at the store you should come try it with me” “ you can finish this tomorrow darling, right now sleep is what you need, not to burn yourself out over this project.”

Loves staring at your face in the morning to watch you sleep, when the sun hits your face just right, he thinks he’s died in his sleep, gone to Heaven and met an Angel.

Jesse

He’s use to reading bedtime stories to his kids so if stories or light talking helps you sleep he’s pretty good at that, otherwise he’s very touchy. Likes to hold you close and give you soft kisses on your forehead.

Most of the time the way you sleep together is either his arm behind his head with his other across your back and you on his chest, or holding each other close and resting your foreheads together.

He likes to read before bed and sometimes will read to you if it’s a good chapter. I image that he sometimes needs reading glasses making him look even more like a dad. He won’t need them a lot but occasionally. He particularly likes old writings and stories that have romantic themes laced throughout.

He won’t let you sleep in any way that could hurt your back in the morning, meaning won’t let you sleep anywhere but the couch or a bed. In the morning he always asks how you slept and he expects an honest answer so that if anything went wrong he could fix it.

Aaron T

Jesse put him on a sleep schedule to, otherwise he’d have insomnia through the roof, when he can’t sleep he cuddles with you hoping your sleeping body will trick him into sleeping. If you can’t sleep he’ll happily stay up with you, unless you want to sleep then he’ll be as quite and comforting as he can.

Likes to pet your hair while you sleep, it helps him sleep. He thinks it’s just so soft and comforting.

If you want to take a nap on the couch he’s grabbing a blanket and snuggling up with you, doesn’t matter if he’s tired or not, he would sell both of his kidneys if it meant cuddling with you for forever.

The rest of the band has a pool of bets going for we’re they’ll find you guys sleeping next. Robaire once found the two of you sleeping on the roof of the tour bus, Tae Young won $130 that night and Robaire won constant anxiety about you two falling asleep somewhere dangerous and end up getting hurt.

Tae Young

You gotta be very careful in his bed, he has injured doves and foster animals all over it. Their all very safe and comfy to cuddle with but sometimes it gets a bit cramped. You rolled over one morning to kiss Tae awake and ended up kissing a birds head, the bird nuzzled you back but you originally didn’t get the wake up you wanted.

Tae is also very cuddly and holds you close when you sleep. He’ll speak very soft Korean to you and sing you Korean lullabies. He plays Disney song piano covers to help you two fall asleep. When he knows you’ve fallen asleep he’ll whisper all of his favorite things about you in Korean because that helps him calm down to sleep.

Has a very relaxing night time routine he likes to share with you. About an hour before bed he’ll make some tea and sit with you on the window seat in his room just looking out at the city lights, then he has a skin care routine with face masks and jade rollers.

On the nightstand in his room he has a diffuser and a tiny basket underneath of oils. If you have a hard time sleeping, he has star patterns decorating his ceiling with glow in the dark stars and he’ll tell you all about the patterns and stories.

Aaron Z

He keeps his bed made and lays your pajamas out at night so that you can just slip them on, crawl into bed, and sleep. If he’s still awake doing stuff every time he passes the door he’ll peak in and watch you resting for a minute, shushing everyone that walks in the hall.

When you lay in bed together and have a hard time sleeping he likes to listen to you talk about your day, asking questions and making comments on things.

“You totally won that argument baby” “he said what to you?” “ mhm but you had already told her you didn’t want to go into that store”

He has a nightlight in his room that helps him sleep, but when he doesn’t find comfort in the soft changing colors, holding you closely and just knowing your there is the most comforting.

He meditates before bed to help his mind de-clutter, when it gets to the part where he thinks about the one thing big or small that made him happy that day he immediately thinks of anything you two did together that made him happy. He’s very much like Robaire but he doesn’t show a lot of vocal appreciation. Just soft kisses and long hugs to lull you both to sleep.
