Help My Friend Survive In A Refugee Camp

My friend Abdul is an African LGBTQ+ refugee who needs more help than I can give him to survive at his camp.

$6,000 seems like a lot, and it is, but he would really be grateful for anything. If you have $1 to spare he would absolutely appreciate that. this is not a circumstance where not reaching the goal means it was pointless. I don't get paid much because I'm a full time student but he always appreciates and needs what I can give him.

He needs everything you can spare.

Hey, sorry if this is pushy, but I wanted to ask if there are any updates on Abdul’s fundraising? If this is at all pushy feel free to ignore

It’s fine, his internet is slower so communication is harder than it used to be, because his phone doesn’t support the network at his new camp very well. I don’t have any new photos because he hasn’t sent any (likely due to just frustrating network issues) but I’ve sent him everything I’ve raised so far (sans the stuff still pending & the transfer fees that get taken out) and he really did need it, since he had nothing to break his fast with.

This fund has honestly been so helpful, I had to ask a family member for money to cover medicine Abdul needed and without this fund I probably wouldn’t have had enough to help Abdul eat as well as take medicine. Which you know, starving isn’t super conductive to a healthy recovery!

Update on the urgent medical care money for Abdul: I’ve got a family member promising me 180 dollars on Wednesday (that’s when they get their paycheck) so that’s a relief
