Skipping straight to day 12 in the #abmidyearstashchallenge which is creams and gels! Most of mine tend to be on the lighter side, as I’ve got combination skin. Gels are the ones I find I reach more for, as they feel lighter and sink in quickly. But sometimes my skin needs the extra pampering that a cream offers. . ✨ #EarthsRecipe Moisture Light Cream - received in the last London AB meet up, sent by @bemusedkorea. Yet to try this, though my friends rated it highly! #Swanicoco Intensive Vital Cream - sent by @swanicoco.en as part of the Swans program. I did end up finding this slightly heavy for my oily face, but my hands are drinking it up. #Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream - love this for how light and hydrating it is. I reach for it often as a last step, and I’ve only got a few uses left of it. #SnowFox Day and Night Defense Cream - in the box sent by @mybeautiqueco and a new brand to me! I like the pump action and how light it is. It’s also soothing on my skin. #AtoClassic Calming Intensive Cream - I keep this on my bedside table for when I wake up in the middle of the night and need a hydration top up. Or in the morning if I’m being lazy and simply reach for this as easy access. #Rosette Ceramide Gel - recently reviewed this on the blog! It’s a classic much loved #Jbeauty product which I recommend. I never would have thought that I would love liquid lipsticks and have so many! Now I’m not going to do what I did at the beginning of this year with splitting the lippies into groups. I’ve actually reduced my stash a bit (after adding to it through the year). In the picture are all my lip products from liquid lips to lip balms. Hoi freeenz~~ here are my eye products for the 10th day of the #abmidyearstashchallenge by the amazing @peepingpomeranian! • - #Kiehls Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate - as you can see, I found promise in it as I did repurchase. I'm not insanely sure if this isn't clogging my pores but as far as I can tell, it isn't. For me, I use around a half pump for both eyes. One whole pump was way too much and it felt really heavy under my eyes and on my eyelids so from the next day I did a half pump and then followed up with eye cream for moisture and it worked out well! 😁 • - #EtudeHouse Honey Eye Pack Cream - love this eye cream! Slightly scented which I wish it wasn't so more people could use it, but this moisturizes well without feeling heavy at all. Sinks in too, doesn't feel like there's a film of eye cream under my eyes. Will I repurchase? No, purely because I gotta try em all lol. • - #TheBodyShop Vitamin C Eye Reviver Duo - this is a product I used to use when I was 14 and now 5 years later I still like it! The refreshing gel side helps with puffiness and does soothe the area so it really can help you feel more awake on sleep deprived mornings. The radiance fluid side basically has light reflecting particles that reflect the light that the dark circles would absorb which attracts attention to them too. It really does make a difference and makes your eyes look perkier and more awake. Today for the #abmidyearstashchallenge I'll combine days 26-28! My trusty @sulwhasoo.us intense perfecting cushion. I'm on my last refill of this but I love it so much. Anyone have any recommendations for good cushions? I love this cushion but the price T_T My go to concealer these days is the @visee_kose perfect concealer that I got at a drugstore in japan. It was like 7 USD and I really wasn't expecting much but it outperforms my expensive concealers by a lot, including my Lancôme. My blushes include the @maccosmetics cream color in pink shock and the amazing @glossier cloud paints in haze and dusk. I get a lot of use out of dusk... wayyy more than I thought I would. I don't really use anything else, but I've been trying to use the @immeme_official I'm corrector as a highlighter. A day late but here is my day 15 of #abmidyearstashchallenge: wash off masks. Honestly i don't use wash off masks too often since I want to keep all that skin plumping goodness on, lol. #junejacobs papaya purifying enzyme mask. I love this mask! It makes my skin feel plump and smooth. Doesn't burn or irritate my skin at all and super easy to use. #elizavecca Carbonated Bubble clay mask. I like this mask but the bubbles always maker my nose itch, lol. #peterthomasroth 24K gold mask and rose stem cell mask. I do get a bit of a burning sensation when I use these masks but they're lovely. #briaa Deep Revitalizing Polishing Mask. I wasn't a big fan of this mask when i first used it, but then I was doing it wrong 😅. Once I read how it was supposed to be used I really liked it. #michaeltoddbeauty Milk and Honey Firming mask. Not too much to say about it. Day 7 of the #abmidyearstashchallenge brings us to essences, and probably a step I often overlook in favour of serums and toners. I’ve never really understood the proper difference between an essence and a Serum. I think it’s that a Serum is more concentrated. Any light anyone can shed on this is much appreciated! . ✨ In my sparse essence collection are; #Swanicoco First Essence - sent to me as part of the #Swans2 programme #AtoClassic Soothing Origin Essence - I really like this essence, it’s got a botanical scent to it and feels good on the skin. It is indeed soothing as the name suggests. #Benton #Snailbee Essence - probably one of the best known essence products. It is seemingly helping with my acne which can only be a good thing. #Urang True Rose Repair Essence - floral in scent and soft on the skin. Hoiiii fraaandz~ for the 9th day of the #abmidyearstashchallenge by my dear noonz @peepingpomeranian, here's my emulsion and samples! lol... • - #Labiotte Truffle Revital Emulsion - funny thing, I actually ordered the softener but rose rose shop gave me the emulsion... so I just decided to keep it and not bother. Best decision ever! This emulsion sinks in like a dream and makes my skin soft and bouncy! The scent is okay and I haven't experienced any revitalization from the truffle as I am still somewhat dead inside. Gives a smooth matte finish and can also be use on your hair to minimize the appearance of oily hair 🌬 @zoyacosmetics Acne Solution Loose Powder: it was pretty good I think, the shade was slightly darker than my skin tone so I use it to set a lighter Foundation. Day 21 of the #abmidyearstashchallenge is hair color and styling. I honestly don't do that much to my hair (other than go to a salon to dye it). I'm horrible at anything hair so i entrust the experts 😂 I do, once in a while, attempt to curl/wave my hair. That's where this stuff comes in! My pink hair is very precious to me so I refuse to do anything to harm it! So I use the @davinesofficial hair shield before using any heat tools. It smells awesome, and unlike other hair products, it does NOT leave a sticky or yucky residue. Day 13 of the #abmidyearstashchallenge is all about sunscreens. So I have a confession to make. I didn't start using sunscreen everyday until I read @skinandtonics blog on sunscreen. That was about 4 years ago 😱. When I think back to all those years with absolutely no protection between my skin and UV rays I cringe. Now I'm always on the hunt for a new matte or semi-matte sunscreen with no white cast. It's an addiction 😂. #misshaus all around Sunblock Soft Finish Milk. This is a matte sunscreen. It's lovely and it works great with my dark complexion. There's a bit of white cast but it's pretty minimal. #makeprem UV defense Sun gel and Sun Cream. I prefer the cream of the two since it doesn't leave a silicone feel which the gel does. #niveajp Protect Water gel. This is like my fourth bottle. It's affordable and it leaves no white cast. #thefaceshop Eco Natural Sun is quickly becoming my favorite sunscreen. It leaves no white cast and it's moisturizing without being greasy. #etudehouse sunprise Mild Airy lotion. This is my HG sunscreen, it's a physical sunscreen with very minimal white cast. I always feel MBD masks drip so much though which frustrates me a little I also have singles of the #etudehouse Rice mask, #Tonymoly Baby foot mask, #wishtrend 21.5 mask and a couple others I recieved as freebies. Here's my delayed post for the 5th day of the #abmidyearstashchallenge by my dear 누나 @peepingpomeranian! • Toners: - #Innisfree White Tone Up Skin - I bought this before I bought The Ordinary's Niacinamide so I don't really need this toner but it's nice. It slightly hydrates and helps brighten because of the niacinamide in it. Won't repurchase. - #Whamisa Organic Flowers Deep Rich Toner - this really is rich lol. I don't like how this smells but I love this for layering hydration. Not a great 7 skin option but great to add on a daytime routine. Probably won't repurchase. - #HadaLabo Hydrating Lotion - love this! Great for the 7 skin method. Hydrates well, plumps and softens the skin too! Not sure if I'll repurchase. - Hada Labo Premium Lotion - haven't used this yet but I'm so excited to! - #DrJart Ceramidin Liquid - love this!
