So I finally figured out how to filter content and how to show mature content when things get unnecessarily flagged. @fanofstuff01

If you go to your account settings and go to "Content you see" it will give you the option to show, blur, or hide posts with community labels.

I’ve made the decision to make my blog 18+ only. I know that I have a few followers that are minors, and with the increased frequency at which I go feral, I need to take my audience into consideration. So for those of you who are under the age of 18, I will be sorry to see you go, thank you for being here while you were.

So I went back to that PowerPoint I have of stuff from my X AU, and I actually have more stuff for it than I did last time I was there, like I could actually answer some of the things in the “Don’t Know” categories, which surprised me

Hell, I actually have ideas of what the main villain is doing, it’s just that I don’t know what to call him, since the character I’d say he most resembles is BW Megatron, and I don’t want to copy names. I could call him Galvatron, but he’s not really Galvatron either, is he? I suppose I could though, I can’t think of any other way to include Galvatron at this moment

But yeah honestly, I really don’t know if I want to continue the Transformers X AU at this point, like where I stand with it. Like, I like it and I still have a lot of ideas for it and I want to get them out there, but I don’t know what to do with it

Honestly I think it’s mostly because of the drawing and designs themselves, I feel discouraged with them and like I shouldn’t keep trying to borrow design elements from Mega Man, a series I barely know. Heck I don’t even know if these guys transform or not, or what they turn into

And I’m not sure about just making it a fanfic and bypassing the art requirement, since for one thing, it’s not tied to any one piece of the franchise, and two, the story setup doesn’t really lend itself to that. In my head, it’s more like a villain of the week with an overarching plot. Hmm, but maybe I could if I tried. I’m not sure though

I think it’s mostly the art problem that’s getting to me, as well as the fact that people generally didn’t seem to care much for it. But maybe that also has to do with how I write the descriptions and my text-walling tendencies, as I put it

I’ve gotten some drive to maybe continue it again, particularly after seeing @redwryvernwrites post about writing advice that got me thinking about this AU again and that maybe I need to try harder with it, and because my brother’s been making his own Transformers redesigns that I think look pretty good, and make me want to get back into it myself considering how little I make now. It’s just I don’t know if I can, I guess

If I do, I think maybe I’ll try to do it differently. Like actually try to draw full body designs more and maybe cut down on how much I ramble in the descriptions. And maybe don’t reveal literally everything I’ve come up with story wise so I don’t spoil the plot, if I want to make it official. Might be difficult though considering how much I’ve already said in old posts, not unless I go to edit them, since I don’t want to just get rid of them entirely

I don’t know, I just felt like airing some thoughts out there on the state of my AU, it’s been drifting through my mind a bit recently

Maybe this sounds weird, but I just need you to know, every time I do this shit (most specifically I’m like “megop child/child opportunity”), it annoys me too. Maybe not in the moment, but like 5 minutes later it does

Also this does happen to me a lot more often than what I post. Like I will be watching a video about something else, probably Lost in Adaptation, and I’ll be like “wait this might make an interesting premise for a Transformers story”. I’ve done it more than once but the main one I’m remembering right now is Transformers but the origin story is similar to the setup of Watership Down (the plot specifically, not the fact that they’re tiny animals)

I feel like I already do this way too much, and I just come off as annoying. I don’t want to keep making posts about the same thing over and over again, especially when I don’t do anything with the concepts my brain makes up, I just tell you about them in text only and no pictures for actual substance, but I can’t stop

I also sometimes want to just delete these posts of this nature, but then I stop myself because I did like the content of it, and/or it had replies/reblogs on it and I don’t want to get rid of them. I may not reply to comments nearly as much as I should, but they are my favorite thing to get notifications on

Maybe if I had better art skills and could draw Transformers and also I wasn’t so scatterbrained I could, but I don’t and I’m not, so this persists

This also doesn’t extend to just Transformers, this has been a problem for a while now, as people who have been here a long time probably know. It’s just that this is my current fixation and the thing currently annoying me

This also extends to real life too, as I don’t know how to talk to people outside of my fixations. So I think I’ve now made myself known to my Latin class as the girl who really likes Transformers, to the point I will annoy them with it. And if they don’t all know, the ones I interact with more regularly do. I wish I could talk to people normally, but I literally don’t know what else to talk about people with, because I don’t have a social life. I was kind of made aware last week that my talking to one person outside of class once a week probably isn’t substantial enough

This is like how in my high school color guard, the thing everyone there knew me for was my obsession with Ninjago, and how it was the main thing I would talk to people about. It’s literally the same thing, just updated to my current fixation and group of people I talk to

Anyways, I’m getting off track, and to be honest, I really don’t know why I made this? Like the post is one thing, but going out of my way to draw this, no matter how low effort. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I’m looking at it from the perspective of anyone else and realizing maybe it seems weird, or like I’m doing it in response to something specific

This isn’t like an apology for being particularly annoying to someone in particular. Well I mean, it is an apology for being this way, and I’m saying it because I think I’m being incredibly annoying with it. But nothing in particular caused me to write all this, I just feel bad for being like this

So, sorry about all this situation that is me. Honestly the only way for me to improve is to hold my tongue better. And probably get obsessed with different characters, that might dilute the problem at least
