both terms can be used interchangeably. accent letters from original said part of word can be used if wished. exact pronounication is not required if not capable.

And it truly was a feast. What would be multiple courses in a more Hylian setting was presented all at once on the Zora’s table. Sidon give Link the name of each dish as they pass it, happily placing however much of it the Hylian wants onto his plate (his first plate, anyway. Sidon quickly went to grab another when it was full.) Many of the dishes had names in Hylian, but the prince was eager to share what they were called in the Zora tongue as well and enthusiastically offered to learn their signs in the Zora Sign Language, as well as Hylian Common Sign.

On the table set in silver or stone bowls are foods Link had never seen. Hineska’ Agaga’, the Hylian rice dyed red with achote seeds, spiced with onion, garlic, and a hot pork sausage Sidon called chorizo; salads made of cucumbers and daigu’ radishes pickling in a bowl of soy sauce and lemon juice sitting beside a plate of stir fried bok choy, Hylian shrooms, and spicy peppers. The smell of hot frying oil filled his senses as they passed the fried vegetable lumpia, its rice paper wrapping dark brown and sizzling. A few bońelos uhang, small, pan-fried cakes of shrimp and vegetables sat next to the lumpia and red rice creating a small wall between it and savory breadfruit swimming in fresh coconut milk. Link recognizes the smell of kelaguen and tityas from the meal Kodah and Kayden gave him the morning before, but Sidon explains that this is kelaguen månnok, made with poultry rather than seafood. Its spicy aroma sent Link’s mouth tingling, the taste of sharp lemon, crisp spice, and fresh, earthy niyok coming back to him joyfully.

The “entrees,” as they would be called on Hylian tables, comprised of pansit bihon månnok; clear, thin rice noodles dressed brown with fish and oyster sauce, tossed together with sautéed snow peas, poultry, carrots, and bamboo shoots, topped with bright white, crunchy bean sprouts and lime juice. There was fresh, seared sizzelfin trout encrusted with sesame seeds that fell apart beautifully when you took a bite, the sesame seeds adding a delicious texture to the soft fish. Tender grilled pork spareribs sprinkled with only pink rock salt and course pepper sat at the end of the line followed by three small bowls of desserts, which, once they finally came into view, made Link’s eyes widen in excitement. In one sat steamed sweet niyok and cassava, its smell bringing a sense of freshness and cleanliness after the line of strong, savory dishes. Sidon has to turn Link away from the baked pumpkin empanadas (påstets) and crumbly inafliton roset cookies before he could stuff them in his mouth, promising that he will bring them once they sit.

At their place settings are cups of fresh water and an earthenware pot of lemon ginger tea. Link, a master of restraint, waits for Sidon to finish making his own plate and sit down before he explores the vast richness in front of him.

I just arrived to the second town proper (Mamook)

Not much has happened plot wise to the point I'm at, but it's still interesting. I'm intrigued by whatever Bakool Ja Ja's flashback meant with all those pots...

That said, the parallels are killing me! They're killing me! I didn't mention it last post, but Bern and I have been noticing incidental parallels of Wuk Lamat and Koana with Alm and Celica (were they siblings). This is literally not all of it but the one that we were thinking about the most simply because of Plot Development (learning of Koana's abandonment in the earlier segment, and now with visiting Wuk Lamat's birthplace her own)

wuk lamat was so young when orphaned that she does not remember her parents. It turns out the reason she was 'orphaned' was an attempt on her life, in which she is given away for her protection (alm parallel)

koana was old enough to remember his parents and their abandonment, he is incredibly protective over the family that chose him as a result (celica parallel)

Geeeeez.

AND WUK LAMAT IS LIKE BABY AGED. SHE'S BELOW 20. LIKE PROBABLY 18. SHE SHOULD BE AT THE CLUB!

It was fun to find out that the dish was based on cochinita pibil that we had to make, and how it came about ingame. It lead to a discussion between bern and me about the spelling of achote (achoite in ph), underground ovens, and dishes made on those. Lots of underground oven stuff in mx, but also ph and other locations this expansion is based on.

The duty where we RPed as Wuk Lamat was really fun! I was just smashing with a HAMMER by the end tbh........ bonk them all! bonk bonk bonk! None are free of sin! Great to see Wuk Lamat come onto her own and tackle her biggest bully without our help. She deserved that one— I feel it'd be a disservice if we had to save her from him again.

Ngl I'm kind of glad that Wuk Lamat didnt get her own flavor of identity crisis at knowing her birth father, but I'm pretty sure it's because she's been aware since she was 'a fuzzball' that she's been adopted and nevertheless loved. Unlike the other guy (Alm).

Again, curious about Bakool Ja Ja's flashback? I'm sure we'll find out more soon enough. I'm also wondering who da hell gave us the flashback to the feast. Someone was watching, sure, but it meant it had to be someone who was present at the time. Curious.

What are Sister Wives? Are they legal in Judaism?

For this we need to understand what a wife is and what a sister is first.

Wives, eesha, are the social customs associated with an enlightened society:

 Societies are feminine (and maternal) and although some scholars insist on a whole other but identical root, the noun אשה ('isha) means woman or wife. And again perhaps from a whole other root or perhaps the same one, the noun איש ('ish) means man, or rather man of; man in some specific function such as "man of war" or "man of the earth." According to the Torah, vis a vis the stories of Leah "leader" and Rachel 'the ewe", a wife is preparation, the sister-wife is the execution. One fulfills the requirements for Kingship, the other for dynasty.

So the Dynasty of the Voice of Freedom was trapped in Egypt while David "persistently beautiful" waxed in power and eventually died along with the source of his power, the army. With vanity out of the way, the Voice of God wanted to have a whack at Solomon but the Egyptian Pharaoh of course said no.

So the Dynasty of the Free One begins but it gets trapped as we will see. It is the lack of such free-thinking dynasties in the world that keeps us all imperiled.

People ask artists all the time where their ideas come from.  The science fiction author Barry Longyear got this question so often that he devised a stock answer, that there was a warehouse in Schenectady, and that authors who were out of ideas could write to this place, and they’d send fresh ideas.  He even called a collection of short stories It Came From Schenectady.

Sometimes, though, the inspiration for art comes from much closer to home.  For Yonatan Sheinfeld, his beloved sister’s wedding inspired him to write this lovely song, “Achot Ktana,” or “Little Sister.”  It describes a little sister, one among several brothers, who is getting ready to go out into the world.  A great voice will be heard throughout Jerusalem and the land of Judah.  “Go out, and put on your best clothes!  Get up, my wife, and go forth!”  Clearly, this is a girl whose family of origin and family of choice both love her dearly, as it should be.
