Isaac:

-His island is impeccably tidy, not one flower out of place

-Impressive terraforming

-Has all his favorite villagers, most of which are jock or sisterly

-Being Isaac, he has the best custom designs

-5 Star rating obv

Sam:

-His island isn’t as great as Isaac’s, but it’s still top tier

-Lots of little builds here and there

-Great friendships with his villagers

-Recreated the “Believe” sign using custom designs, and the rest of the team have all downloaded it

-Was overjoyed to learn that Isabelle and Doomguy are married

Jamie:

-Scoffed at the idea of playing it at first, but eventually gave in

-He does enjoy it but is still a bit confused on how it works

-He called Isaac at least three times just to ask what miles were

-Island isn’t that decorated, but his house looks pretty nice

-Talks to the villagers out loud

Dani:

-Island is super cluttered, but he doesn’t seem to mind

i've only just decided to do some acnh custom designs and omg the amount of respect i have for the people creating amazing custom designs just skyrocketed. like i spent at least an hr just researching inspo and creating a rough outline of the outfit features.

i've had acnh for like 2 yrs now but i don't even play much so i just got 3 star island rating like a few days ago lmao.

Help. Why is my brain screaming at me that Glam has an Animal Crossing obsession.

Like, we have the whole "Dee's special interest is MLP" basically as a fandom...

Yeah, totally, I fucking love that.

But my brain just randomly wandered from that, to Glam and went: "You know... he'd really like ACNH..."

And now it won't leave my brainspace.

I'm just stuck imagining Glam calmly sitting on his bed crisscross applesauce, holding a Switch in his hands as he happily wanders the island talking to his villagers.

(Headcannons about this below the cut)

- Glam discovered Animal Crossing through Heavy, who asked for the game for a birthday/christmas

- Glam only started playing originally because Heavy didn't want to play alone, and Dee didn't play consistently (Dee plays too, but very sporadically)

- Glam has about 5,000+ hours on the game (about double what Heavy has)

- Glam has a separate console (likely a Switch Lite) for his own island, and is Switch friends with Heavy, Dee and Victoria.

- Glam plays on average a few hours a day (usually to do all daily tasks. talk, gift, fish, bug catch, craft, clean, etc.)

- Glam's island is consistently rated at 5 stars

- Glam is very centered on organization, his island is very neat and he spent a lot of time making it look nice (and changes decorations in accordance to the holiday/season. Like I'm talking designated areas for flowers and plants, trees, houses, shops, etc. it is mapped out in a VERY efficient way.)

- Glam hates the house decorating rating system (it's the only thing on his island that isn't at it's best) because, for some reason, they hate his decorating. (He never gets a perfect score, and their criticisms confuse him)

Hi there if you’re new! My name is Kit, I am 31 now, this is my simblr, it’s a mess. When I’m actively posting, I post a variation of gameplay and some very basic storytelling and sometimes poorly done edits, so if that isn’t your jam, that’s okay! Just letting you know, k-pop inspired sims and vampires might be here, sometimes the pictures are sorta pretty. There’s a disclaimer on the blog stating that generally my content is akin to PG-13, anything you could construe as being above that rating gets tagged.

Hi regular followers!! I’m working on queueing Not So Perry (my Not So Berry challenge) as well as Star x Crossed (my s-pop story). They are going slowly because I’m currently ✨ tired ✨. This week I think I’m going to take a break from both and mostly do reblogs and finally clear out my ask box, so I can focus of finishing shooting Episode 1 of Star x Crossed.

I have another two saves I’ve been working on/playing in the background that are meant for simblr but I’m not ready to share them... just yet. Maybe soon!

I might drop ACNH content again too LMAO I’m currently back to hanging out on my island of Briarwood... Going on vacation and being away from my computer for a week really made me pick ACNH back up, yes.

My “new job” isn’t so new anymore--I’ve been there a year--and it’s still pretty good! It keeps me busy... And this time of year can be unpredictable so while I’m not super-duper busy right this second it could change in an instant. We also have another round of weddings coming up to attend, plus my better half and I now throw the annual Halloween party in our friend group. 

I also read more, but that’s because my coworker keeps giving me books LMAO

I start up ACNH this morning, and happen to wander past a Lily of the Valley? Bruh i thought my town was a low four star rating AT BEST.

I was so confused, but Isabelle then confirmed the best news of the year so far, to be fair we’re only on day one…

i know it's old news, i know it's petty

but i do hate video game mechanics/coding/whatever that's baked in that makes it so the shit that you want or need in that moment is harder to get and spawns less

like yes in acnh, during the fishing tourney and the bug-off, ONLY during the 3 minutes of each round, all of the fucking bugs and fish disappear. as soon as the timer is over, they all appear out of nowhere.

but right now, and for a while, it's been the salty herba mystica in pokemon sv

you need 1 or 2 salty herba mystica for EVERY sandwich you make to increase shiny spawn rates.

every. single. shiny x3 sandwich. requires at minimum. 1 salty herba mystica.

now i do tera raid battles all the fucking time, and i exclusively do them for 5 and 6 star raids in order to increase the drop rate for herba mystica. and it works quite well!

i have 47 spicy, 27 sour, 19 sweet, and 18 bitter

and i have

and that is after hours and hours deliberately seeking out raids for pokemon that more frequently drop salty herba mystica

THAT'S IT

hours and hours--you see how many fucking spicy and sour i have.

i have 120 herba mystica total

9 of them are salty

that is 7.5%

like are you FUCKING kidding me

it's deeply, DEEPLY annoying bc here's the thing

SHINY HUNTING IS ALREADY FUCKING ANNOYING BC OF THE SPAWN RATES AND HOW QUICKLY THE WILD OUTBREAKS DISAPPEAR!!!

so really, truly, this is just a fucking way for me to pass the time, and when i feel so compelled as to seek out a very specific shiny, i will make the fucking sandwich with one or two of my incredibly cherished salty herba mystica.

but until then i'm just doing tera raids for hours and hours to pass the time with the goal of getting more salty herba mystica.

fucking. lousyass fucking video games. it's Not Fun after a certain point.
