You need to be normal about minors in your fandoms. Yeah, even the cringy ones. Yeah, even the ones who are going to be annoying about ships or fav characters or whatever. Yeah, even though ones who don't look at the work with a very media literacy focused lense and only scream about their slightly misinterpreted blorbos. If the work is appropriate for minors, let them be there. They don't need to have your "deep super intellectual takes on the media which all of these dumb kids are ruining by shipping!" Let them be there. Let them have fun. I bet you got to. They'll be annoying, but isn't being annoying the essence of being a child? You can always block them or cultivate your experience. Idk
