Lesson #1.7: Book of Apostolic Acts
7.] The Success of the Jewish Nation, in spite of itself,
for GOD’s purposes: A social basis was prepared
which was adequate for reception of Community
[or Kingdom] of GOD. The “fullness of time”
[Ga 4:4] was come. A Divine/Human Community
which did not rest on Pride & Fear could get its
start in the ashes & cinders of the Jewish Nation,
left by the killing of the best man by best people,
& by physical destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D.
• Galatians 4:4 | But when the time had fully come
GOD sent HIS SON, born of a woman, born under
the Law,

Breakfast & Bible Study
“And Jacob rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days. And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, For I will go down into the grave unto my son mourning. Thus his father wept for him.” Genesis 37:34-35 KJV
Today’s Bible Study was on Acts 7. As we discussed Acts 7, we discussed how Jacob grieved over loosing his son, Joseph. His brothers were so heartbroken over how they had hurt their father and what they had done to their brother, Joseph. So much so that they repented of their evilness. Someone in our Bible study group brought up this point. How much more will God miss and grieve over His children who choose not to make it to the Promised Land? Who will comfort Him? Can God be comforted? He does not forget any of His children, just like Jacob did not forget Joseph, and He will grieve over those lost souls for eternity. Just like Jacob’s sons, we should consider our Heavenly Father’s grief. And in so considering His grief, we ought to do all we can to win back those souls from Satan’s grasp. In this way, we can comfort our Heavenly Father and enjoy their presence and fellowship in Heaven.
