Red Handed
Pairing: Phillipa x Reader
Request: “Hey its me again! 😂 I know you're doing a bunch of other requests but when you have a time, can you do a Pippa one where theyre secretly dating and whenever they do ham4ham they always have these cute moments so the fans would catch on? Then at the end Pippa and Y/N would like come out to all the fans? Something like that, I hope that makes sense😭😂 Thank you for taking alot of your time writing a bunch of requests, its very appreciated!!☺” - @multifandomwriterx
Word Count: 1.4k
“Pippa I think they know” I said walking into our shared bedroom. Pippa was sitting on our bed, reading a book. I sat down next to her and showed her my phone. The top trending hashtag on Twitter was #Y/NandPippa.
She grabbed my phone and was looking through some of the tweets. “Well no one seems mad, they all seem really supportive” Pippa said. “Well that’s good” I said, smiling. I looked over at my phone and saw there was a video everyone was tweeting about. “What’s the video they’re all talking about?” I asked her.
She kept scrolling and found the video and pressed the link. It opened up on YouTube. It showed a compilation video of me and Pippa and it was entitled “Y/N and Pippa: proof they’re dating”.
I giggled at the title and Pippa pressed play. It started with the first Ham4Ham show Pippa and I did together.
Pippa and I walked out to do the Ham4Ham show and we were both so nervous since it was the first Ham4Ham we’d performed in. Lin walked up to both of us and whispered “You’re both going to do great” in our ears. Pippa gave my hand a quick squeeze to calm my nerves. If we had been in private, she would of wrapped her arms around my waist and pressed kisses to my temple.
But none of the fans knew about our secret relationship so she kept it to a quick squeeze of my hand.
Pippa started the song off and was belting like a goddess. She sounded so good, I couldn’t help, but stare with the biggest smile on my face. Then I took over and started singing my part and I could see that same smile on Pippa’s face.
Eventually, we got to the part where we were harmonizing and Pippa walked behind and on the next step of the stairs. She hugged me from behind as we sang the rest of the song in harmony.
Then the video went to a clip from an awards show.
They were about to announce who won the award, Pippa had been nominated. We had our fingers interlaced and on our other hands we had our fingers crossed. We were so nervous to hear the results.
Then Pippa’s name got called out, and we both looked at each other with shocked expressions. We both jumped out of our seats along with the rest of the Hamilton actors sitting around us.
I pulled Pippa into the biggest hug. “I am so proud of you, darling” I whispered in her ears. I wiped the tears off her face and then she turned to hug Renée and Jasmine.
Then, she walked up on stage to give her acceptance speech. “I want to thank everyone who helped this dream of mine come true. Also a shoutout to Y/N, my biggest fan and my best friend. I wouldn’t be here without your constant support” she said, emotionally.
I blew a kiss to her and wiped a few tears away from my own eyes. Then I saw Lin behind me, he leaned toward me and whispered “Your girl did it, you must be so proud” in my ear.
Then the video transitioned to a clip from Lin’s wedding. I was confused as to why this was in the compilation. The video showed Leslie singing a love, slow song while Lin and Vanessa danced. Then everyone joined them on the dance floor and the video zoomed past everyone and showed Pippa and I.
“You look really pretty today” I complimented Pippa as we danced. “I have nothing on you, you look absolutely stunning Y/N” she said, as she brushed my hair behind my ear.
We continued to dance and we leaned our foreheads together, just enjoying the moment. She grabbed one of my hands and kissed the back of it.
“One day, maybe Leslie will sing at our wedding” Pippa told me. My eyes lit up and I smiled. “That sounds magical” I replied and kissed her cheek.
Then the video transitioned to a different Ham4Ham show.
I was currently singing Defying Gravity for the Ham4Ham show today. Pippa had been away for a week, visiting her family. I had been really bummed since she had been away and the rest of the cast had really caught on.
They had told me to sing at the Ham4Ham to cheer me up, but I still missed her a lot. I was singing and was hyper-focused on the notes, trying not to mess up one of my favorite Broadway songs.
Then I happened to turn around for a second, hearing some commotion. I saw Pippa a few feet away and I completely stopped singing.
I ran over to her and pulled her into the biggest hug. “I’ve missed you so much” I whispered in her ear. I couldn’t believe she was home so early.
I pulled away from her and heard the crowd saying “aww”. “I’m sorry, I’ll start over, but Pippa is back early from seeing her family and I’ve missed her” I explained.
I finished the song, feeling much more confident because Pippa was there as my number one support system. “Everyone give it up for Y/N” Pippa said, pulling me into a hug. The whole crowd erupted into applause.
The next video that played was one I recognized as a video Lin took and later posted on social media.
I was sitting in Pippa’s lap and we were in Renée’s dressing room. Renée was telling us about some article that she had read about the link between your diet and how well you sleep. Pippa and I were only half-listening. I leaned closer to her and kissed her temple. She smiled back at me.
She had her hand resting on my knee and was drawing circles with her finger. I grabbed her other hand and interlaced our fingers. She leaned in close to me. “I love you” she whispered, quiet enough so no one heard it. I just looked back at her and smiled.
“Would you look at the lovebirds” Lin said. That was when we finally got distracted from each other and looked over at Lin. “Nooo, Lin put away your camera” I whined. Lin laughed and then put away his phone.
The video ended with a montage of a bunch of pictures of me and Pippa over the years. Then the screen faded to black.
I looked over at Pippa. “Woah, I guess they really noticed all the little details” I said, in awe. “Yeah, and now they know” she said, shocked. “Is it so bad? No one has said anything rude and they all seem so supportive” I told her. “No, I guess it’s not that bad. The only difference is now I can kiss you in public” Pippa said, smiling and leaning in to peck my lips.
“Oh wait, we should do an Instagram live. We can confirm the rumors” I said, smirking. I opened Instagram and went live, putting me and Pippa in the shot.
Quickly, the viewers started to pour in. All the comments were about the rumor. “Hey guys, so we are live today because of a little video that has been circling around Twitter and YouTube” I said, smirking. Just about every comment was asking if it was true.
I turned towards Pippa to let her to the honors. “We can both confirm that the rumors are true. We are madly in love” she said as she kissed my cheek. Pippa and I both had the biggest smiles on our faces.
Everyone in the comments was celebrating and congratulating us. “Lin said he is excited that he can finally post the pictures he has of us being cute” I said, reading out the comment.
“Thank you guys for all being so supportive” Pippa said. Then Pippa’s phone buzzed and we both looked over and saw texts from Jasmine and Renée. Once we read them, we both laughed out loud.
“Renée and Jasmine would like to a recreation of Satisfied and also Story of Tonight Reprise at our wedding, so we have that to look forward to” Pippa said and we both giggled. We wrapped up the livestream and thanked everyone for being so nice.
As I put down my phone, I looked towards Pippa with a smile. “What?” She asked, confused. “We’ve been caught red handed, but I’m just really happy they know” I said, kissing her cheek.

New Bums Interview: Married Couple Vibe
Tumblr media
BY JORDAN MAINZER
Unlike the mathematical approach of Six Organs of Admittance or the wound jangly pop of Skygreen Leopards, Ben Chasny and Donovan Quinn’s New Bums is like its name: contemporary slacker vibes, loose playing, easy, gorgeous tunes. The band’s first record, Voices in a Rented Room, came out in 2014, and almost immediately afterwards, they started recording its follow-up. It wouldn’t be released until this March, as the more layered but just as lackadaisical Last Time I Saw Grace (Drag City). Both Chasny and Quinn write songs, and each plays off the other one’s style as much as presenting their own. For instance, on the energetic “Oblieration Time”, which juxtaposes soloing and acoustic strumming, Chasny attempted to write lyrics like Quinn. As for Quinn’s lyrics, more generally, Chasny’s instrumentation shifts them. “One of the great things about songwriting [is] the way the lyrics come across versus what they actually mean,” Quinn said on a Zoom call earlier this year with me and Chasny. “The same words can be funny, sad, [or] ironic depending on the instrumentation behind [them]. It’s really fun to see what Ben does.” Chasny agrees that instrumentation matters, not citing a general philosophy but rather a YouTube video with almost 10 million views that overlays a scene of Darth Vader visiting the Death Star with a snippet of Spandau Ballet’s “True”.
Indeed, the buddy quality of New Bums shines through when they’re in the same room--even a virtual one. They laugh and play with each other and finish each other’s sentences, having been friends for a long time. But such a laid-back feeling wouldn’t be possible without each member’s distinct personalities. Chasny, knowing I was set to interview Chris Corsano later that day about his and Bill Orcutt’s excellent Made Out Of Sound, had me communicate an inside joke to Corsano, with whom he shares a band, Rangda. (The joke? Telling Corsano that he should make a pack of beats called “Chris Corsano’s Breakbeats,” to which Corsano cackled and replied, “You’ve been talking to Chasny.”) Chasny’s also self-deprecating: “I’m not a very good violin player, but the last song has me on the violin,” he shrugs about Last Time’s “Follow Them Up the Slope”. And he forgets the titles of the songs, facetiously chalking it up to the album’s lyrical themes of decay. Quinn, simply, is humble and go-with-the-flow.
Underneath it all are some serious aesthetic and instrumental chops from the both of them, a mix of guitars, harmonium (the circular “So Long, Kus”), violin, and keyboards. Opener “Billy, God Damn” is twangy and layered. “Onward to Devastation” features tasty riffing following the lilting folk of “Marlene Left California”. “Wild Dogs” shimmers, while “Hermitage Song” stuns with deep string textures. All in all, Chasny and Quinn talk about these songs with the same exuberance they do their other projects, or music by Corsano and Orcutt, or even legendary records by 90′s German drone artists. Music fans make music makers, and music bums never fade.
Read my conversation with them below, edited for length and clarity.
Since I Left You: What’s unique about Last Time I Saw Grace as compared to Voices in a Rented Room?
Donovan Quinn: I think both of the records come from the same place. A buddy record is the way I would put it, where it grew out of me and Ben in a room, playing two guitars, talking about ideas and records we admired. This one, we built the songs up a little bit more, added some layers to the songs with overdubs, and really added some depth to a lot of the compositions with vocal and guitar work and different synths, whereas the first one we tried to keep it as barebones as possible.
Ben Chasny: Yeah. I would say the first one was more slopdog, like a mutt running wild, and this one isn’t showdog level, but trimming up the dog a little bit, teaching it a couple tricks.
SILY: Maybe album 3 will be showdog.
BC: Yeah. I think it’ll probably take a poop right in front of everybody, but it will still be up there.
SILY: Those layers are what I noticed from the get-go, on [opener] “Billy. God Damn”. Is that why you decided to have it first on the record and release it ahead of time?
BC: We ran through a number of sequences on the record. It just felt like a good one to start out with. There are definitely more vocal layers on this than the other record we did for sure.
DQ: Yeah, I don’t have a clear memory of recording a lot of these songs because we did it over a long period of time, and “Billy God Damn” is one of those songs. I think we put it first because it set a good tone for the rest of the record.
SILY: The sequencing definitely struck me. It goes back and forth between more up-tempo tracks like “Obliteration Time Two” and more lilting tracks like “Marlene Left California”. Is that something you had in mind when ultimately deciding on the order of the tracks?
BC: I think so, yeah, trying to balance it out without having one of the sides of the records being too much one direction.
SILY: I love records like this where the palate is mostly vocals and guitars but you throw in a wildcard like the harmonium, or the cello on “Street of Spies”. It makes those songs stand out.
DQ: “Street of Spies” has our buddy Jason Quever on cello who has a band called Papercuts. I work a lot with Jason and he was kind enough to put some cello on that one.
BC: He did the drums and some of the strings on the first record, too.
SILY: You could say the whole album has a loose quality, but on that song especially, you kept the false start and the countdown from the live recording.
DQ: We do like that kind of sketchbook vibe with our records.
BC: [laughs] I have a feeling I know what you’re gonna say, Donovan.
DQ: I’m not gonna say what you think I’m gonna say...Me and Ben have known each other for so long, it’s a married couple vibe where we know what the other person is gonna say or is thinking...With the way you can record records now, it’s pretty easy to really get things lined up and cleaned up. We thought with New Bums, it would be kind of a nice contrast to not do that, to keep things a little bit frayed.
SILY: It goes with the aesthetic suggested by the band name, too.
DQ: Yeah, exactly.
SILY: Did anything inspire the lyrics specifically?
DQ: Not anything specifically, but over time, both me and Ben writing, we kind of developed a sense of a type of record lyrically, and it seemed to be a lot of songs about decay and certain kinds of desperation. We built from that, not totally consciously, but everything seemed to gravitate towards it.
BC: I will say, when I wrote some of the lyrics to the song “Obliteration Time”, I was actually trying to write songs like Donovan’s band Skygreen Leopards, and I was hoping he would pick up on it. I was like, “Did you pick up on it?” He was like, “No, I didn’t at all.” That was what I was trying to do.
SILY: In some ways, you still have a ways to go in your marriage, then.
BC: Yeah, a lot of ways.
SILY: What were you going for on the first line of “Street of Spies”, “Who gives a fuck about clemency?”
DQ: You know, I don’t remember. And when we were listening back to different vocal takes, there was one that was so unusually angry for me that Ben was saying I sounded like Rage Against the Machine or something, so we changed it. I don’t know. It’s just meant to have the language contrast the mellow vibe of the song. I like that style when if you have a mellow song with lyrics that contradict that feel.
SILY: What’s the inspiration behind the album title?
BC: It’s a line [on the album]. When you listen to [the] song, you realize it’s the name of a woman, Grace, but in context on the front of the record, it has a different meaning, which we thought would be kind of fun. You listen to the record, and you realize, “Ah, I see what they’re talking about.”
DQ: That was kind of a last-minute title. I think we got lucky with it. It fits really well with the kind of themes developed in the record: decay, desperation, etc.
SILY: Is Grace a real person or just a character?
Both: Just a character.
Tumblr media
SILY: What’s the inspiration behind the cover art?
BC: Donovan had the concept behind the art.
DQ: We were gonna see if anyone noticed this, but if you look at the first cover and the second cover, it’s basically the same elements, but we took things away. The first one has the two triangles, and it’s pictures of me and Ben, and this one doesn’t have any pictures. The idea is for every album to have the same basic design that takes elements away to eventually have nothing at all.
SILY: What are you gonna lose on the next one? One of the triangles?
BC: Possibly. That’s when I get kicked out of the band.
SILY: Or it’s self-titled, and you can use New Bums as the band and the title.
DQ: The other day, something cool happened that reminded me of the cover and the two triangles. It doesn’t totally work, but I did this video that heavily references ZZ Top. For the video, we bought a couple of ZZ Top magical keychains, and I was trying to open a box with it, but the fucking thing broke! But the two extreme points of the keys broke off, and what’s left looks a lot like the two triangles.
BC: The original record cover from the first record was based on one of my favorite records, pretty much a tribute to it, a band called The Black Vial. He did a record called Frozen Morning in maybe the mid-90s. He did 300 of them, this German guy, Liebried Loch. They were wrapped in black electric tape, and that’s what held the photograph on. This really gorgeous looking record, one of the most dark, depressing records I’ve ever heard in my life. It’s just droning on electric guitar on a practice amp, really distorted, singing songs like, “Black crows, flying no more!” We based the original artwork off that record and then modified it.
SILY: Have you thought about doing a live stream or socially distant show?
BC: We should try to figure out how to do it together. We still have to figure out Zoom. We may not do Zoom a lot. We’re more Google. We know technology.
SILY: You’re not Luddites?
BC: We have most of our meetings on Google Hangouts.
DQ: New Bums has a lot of meetings, and we spend a lot of time together, so it’s surprising it’s taken us 5 years to do two albums and two tours.
BC: We do have some great video footage from that tour a couple years back filmed at a bookstore in San Francisco called Adobe Books, and I think we’re gonna put that out for people to check out.
SILY: Were some of the songs from this record performed there?
BC: Yeah, we [did] “Cover Band”.
SILY: Anything you’ve been listening to, watching, or reading lately that’s caught your attention?
DQ: I’ve been watching a lot of movies more than anything else. I have the Criterion Channel service, so I’ve been finding a lot of inspiration in that. I was just recommending the movie Close-up to Ben, if you want to feel that doing any kind of artistic endeavor might have some meaning, it’s worth it.
BC: I’ve been watching a lot of Poirot. That guy’s great. His relationship with Hastings is quite similar to Donovan and me, though I won’t say who is Poirot and who’s Hastings.

Imagine where your Shawn’s gf but also his photographer bc that would make my heart actually melt 😍😩
Tumblr media
not my best work but i really wanted to post wksjs i'm Sorry
"I don’t think this was in my contract?”
“What contract are we talking here?” Shawn’s arms reach towards you, fingers ghosting your sides as he slips his hands under your top, “Shawn Mendes’ Official Tour Photographer Contract, or Shawn Mendes’ Girlfriend Contract?” He pulls you towards him, thighs parting to adjust your body between his legs. There’s an indescribable look on his face; soft, yet teasing. His cheeks are an unabashed shade of red, a result of the cold and the alcohol alike. Huddled between a horde of plushies, Shawn fits right in with his gentle demeanour and soft nature. Lips quirking into the faintest of smiles, he lifts a hand to boop your nose with his finger, singing Booooop to make sure you’re aware of his intentions.
“There’s a Shawn Mendes’ Girlfriend Contract too?” You tease, letting him warm his cold hands on your skin. You shudder at the contact, but the satisfied hum he lets out is reward enough to endure his freezing touch. He tips his head forward, resting it gently against your stomach. The hand that isn’t holding your camera tangles into his hair, softly scratching his scalp as he murmurs incoherently into your sweater.
“You didn’t know?’ He pulls back, tilting his head to the side to smile at you, “My assistant probably misplaced it.”
“Probably,” You decide to humour him, letting go of your camera, the strap pulling taut against your neck as the camera hangs down to where Shawn’s head had previously been, “And what did it entail?”
“Hmm, a lot of things,” He sneaks a hand out from underneath your sweater, reaching up to curl around the back of your head. Shawn pulls you towards him, craning his neck upwards to capture your lips in a sweet, short kiss, “Like constant kisses,” He pecks you several times, nose brushing against yours, “And letting me warm my cold reptilian body with yours,” His fingers playfully squeeze your sides, a chuckle bubbling up your throat and putting a smile on his face.
“That’s it?”
“And cuddles,” Shawn falls back onto the soft toys, pulling you with him, and groans when your camera juts into his stomach. Laughing, you roll off, cradling it with one hand and letting your boyfriend grab your other, pulling it towards his lips to press kisses against your knuckles, “Loads, and loads, and loads of cuddles.”
“Sounds pretty okay,” You grin, tilting your head to catch his eyes staring at you, all the stars in the universe pooling in his hazel eyes. If there was one thing that you used to hate, it was being cheesy; and if there’s one thing that Shawn’s got you to fall in love with, it’s being cheesy, because there simply is no other way of describing what the two of you have. The way he makes you feel. Like you’re the most important person in the world, and nothing matters more than your happiness. Like your laugh is his medicine and his yours. Your fingers unconsciously tighten around his at the thought.
“Okay?” He echoes, feigning offence, “Sounds okay?” And then his fingers are poking into your sides, clawed hands sneaking under your top to relentlessly tickle your bare skin. You squirm, laughing, your head thrown back in mirth. Shawn simply sees it as an opportunity to dance his fingers under your chin, causing you to squeeze your eyes shut and try pushing his hands away.
“I lied!” You exclaim between bouts of laughter, leaning away from your childish boyfriend, “The contract sounds amazing.”
“That's what I thought,” He sounds smug, and you tip your head up to see him smirking down at you. Pursing your lips together, you swat his chest, muttering, “Ass.”
“Dick, ass, heart,” His arm over your shoulders, he pulls you into himself, “All yours, baby.”
You smile to yourself, shaking your head, and bring your camera to your face. Switching it on, you feel your grin start to grow as you click through the pictures, a sudden warmth spreading through the inside of your chest.
“Babe, look,” You say, holding your camera a little higher so he can see. You giggle, zooming in on Shawn's face. Tangled between hotel sheets, hair tousled, eyes droopy, he's midway through a yawn, slack jaw pulled tight with the movement, “You look adorable.”
“I don't think sneaking pictures like that was in your photography contact?”
“No,” You smirk, shifting to press a kiss against his chest, “But it was in my girlfriend contact.”
So the two of you lay there, flipping through the images on your camera, reminiscing on the fond memories the two of you had made together. At one point Shawn's eyes avert from the tiny screen to spare you a glance, your head tucked under his chin, chest rising and falling in sync with his breath. You're zooming in on random faces in the photos, laughing to yourself, and he's never been more in love with you. The reminder that this tour is drawing to a close, that you'll probably pack your bags and head home and so will he, has something sour burning in his mouth. He's grown so accustomed to having you around, so used to hearing your evil laugh every time you catch him doing something stupid on camera. The sound of your shutter clicking is registered in his brain now, and he perks up every time he hears it in the distance. He never knew he'd be as gone for you as he is right now, but as long as you're smiling, he's okay with whatever the future holds.
“You looked amazing that day,” Shawn comments, combing a hand through your hair, curling the tresses around his fingers. The picture on the screen is of the day of his album release, when all of his friends and staff had gathered in his condo and drunk their weight in alcohol. Shawn doesn't remember much from that night — his head feels like a woozy, dizzy mess, but he remembers you. You in your band tee and weird pants, red lipstick staining your lips, camera cradled in your hands. You a stark contrast against the dolled up beauties, you a beacon of light in the otherwise dark thoughts that he was trying to drink away. The way you had combed his hair away from his face as he had bent over the toilet seat, the way your reassuring words had fought to replace the doubts in his bloodstream.
“You’ve done amazing, Shawn, they're going to love the album,” You had muttered, helping him to a glass of water as you rubbed circles into his back, camera long forgotten on a kitchen counter. Shawn didn't know a lot about you, but he'd never seen you without a camera, and he knew you wouldn't take it off without good reason. For a reason he still can't put into words, that simple gesture had warmed his heart beyond words.
“What if they don't? What if I peaked when I was sixteen and it's only downhill from here?”
“Shawn, come on,” Your voice was calming, and although gentle, it floated atop the loud trap music, “The album is beautiful. Take it from me. It's fucking flawless, okay? It's your best work yet.”
“You have to say that,” Shawn had turned away, gulping the water in his glass and slamming it back on the counter, “You work for me. I'd probably fire you if you said it was shit.”
He remembers you wincing, him immediately regretting his words, and then expecting you to walk away. You didn't. You stayed, although silent, but a gentle reminder that he wasn't alone in this. That no matter how deep he fell into the inevitable pit that is self-doubt, there was someone to help him coax him right out. And he had never been more glad.
Now he's staring at his own face on the screen, hair a little tamer and cheeks flushed just as red, wishing someone had taken a photo of you. He'd like to frame it, signing it in bold letters, The Day I Started Falling for Her.
“I looked like a bum, Shawn.”
“Well, that you always do,” The corner of his mouth quirks up in a smirk, “But that doesn't make you any less amazing.”
“I'd be offended if I didn't love you.”
“I'd be offended if you didn't love me, honestly.”
“Shut up,” While your words indicate annoyance, your smile gives you away. Pushing yourself up, you uncap your lens, “Let's get this over with.”
“Nooo,” Shawn whines at the loss of contact, reaching out towards you with grabby hands, “I don’ wanna anymore! Come back and cuddle me.”
You place a hand on his chest, leaning down to quickly peck him, pulling away just as fast, “We've rented this entire room out for a day. We have to do this photoshoot now, though I still don't know what for.”
“Who cares?” Shawn grabs a random giraffe toy from the lot, cradling the plushie to his chest, “I can think of other things to do in this room.”
“We're not doing anything with seven thousand glass eyes staring at us, Shawn.”
“Really? Always pegged you for an exhibitionist, if I'm honest.”
You pluck a toy from the lot, playfully hurling it at your boyfriend. Hearing his laughter reverberate through the room, followed by a determined, “Okay, Ms. Official Photographer, let's do this.”

We Are Family. [A Fairy Tail FanFic]
Ch.3: My Idol. [PT.1]
You had spent a couple of hours in the Fairy Tail guild and already you were feeling like a part of it.  Even the master of the guild Makarov came down and introduced himself and joined in on the fun.  This tiny man was sitting crossed legged and armed in front of you with a mug of beer next to him as he listened and talked with the rest of them.
Lira was on your lap with a glass of juice and you had your mug of beer in your hand as you laughed at the stories and tales they fed you.  It was comforting to know that your favorite guild really was just as friendly and welcoming as you had hoped.  "Another round Mira!  For our guests!" The master raised his mug in the air, a pink stain on his cheeks as he clearly had one too many in just the short amount of time that passed.
Mira chuckled.  "Coming right up Master!"  She was adorable.  "Oh no, I really shouldn't, you've given me so much already!"  You pleaded but you knew it would be a hopeless battle as this old man has already proven himself to be quite stubborn.  "Nonsense!  It's no trouble at all my child.  We here at Fairy Tail are always open to meeting new wizards and making new friends!"
"Well in that case, another round please Mirajane?" You giggled and raised your mug.  "That's the spirit!" Cana patted you on the back rather roughly but you knew it was all love there.
"So what do you think of the Fairy Tail guild, Seradith?" Levi asked with a cute smile on her face.  She had been sitting to the left of you with Jet and Droy lingering behind her as always.
"Well...its not boring, I can tell you that!"  Everyone laughed.
"Honestly, it's everything we had imagined and more.  The atmosphere in here is just so different from the many places we've been to before.  So care free, fun..." She ducked just in time as a mug zoomed past above her head.  "Rambunctious, but over all an awesome guild to be in." you concluded as you took a sip.
"Well I'm glad you're enjoying yourself." Erza smiled.
"Oi!  We really are, it's fun in here, plus the food is really yummy." Lira added as she took a bite of her dish.  Mira giggled and thanked her for the compliment.
"Well it seems you've met just about everyone from the guild already minus the few who are off doing jobs at the moment." Wakaba replied as he took a puff of his pipe.  "Yes, but..." You stopped mid sentence.  "But what Seradith?" Wendy asked.
"It's just that we have yet to meet our idols, I guess they are out doing jobs right now.  What a bummer." Lira replied as she looked down pretty bummed.
"Hey it's alright Lira, don't be down, it just wasn't meant to be today." You patted her shoulder in reassurance.  "Yes don't fret Lira dear, you may not have been able to meet who you wanted to meet today but you can always come back another day and try again." Erza smiled and Lira looked up at her with gleaming, hopeful eyes.  "Really?"
Erza almost couldn't control herself but managed to hold back her anxiety of wanting to cuddle her to death and took a sip of her drink.  "Of course, you are always welcome here in Fairy Tail."  "See Lira, don't lose hope, there's always a way!" You smiled down at her and she inhaled excitedly and looked up at you smiling.  "Mhm!" She nodded.
"So Syrup-Teeth, what is it that you do really?" Natsu asked bluntly.
"IT'S SERADITH!" Lucy smacked him in the back of the head but it didn't phase him.
You chuckled at that and thought for a moment.  "Well, nothing special really, I'm just a traveler honestly."  "A traveler, really?" Erza asked intrigued.  You nodded.  "Yes, we normally just go from town to town, across country just visiting places and exploring new things.  Nothing too fancy."
"Wow that's so exciting, I bet you've seen some really amazing places, haven't you?" The gleam in Lucy's eyes was almost brighter than the golden keys that hung on her hip.  "Oh Yes!  We've been to a lot of cool places, also really pretty ones.  Like recently we visited an old castle that was built over 400 hundred years ago!" Lira said through her glass.  "Really?!  How was it?!" Erza asked excitedly.
"Yeah, we're there any creepy ghosts or freaky monsters in there?!" Natsu asked with the most creepy face and voice you could imagine.  Gray smacks him across the head. "Knock it off Natsu, quit being a pest."  "What so you wanna fight you pervert?!"  "Who are you calling a pervert, fire breath?!" He shoved his face into his.  "You you filthy streaker!  Put on some clothes!"  It was then you realized Gray had stripped down to his underwear and you looked away.  "You're the pervert, why are you looking at me anyway you disgusting freak!"  "WHAT YOU SAY?!" Natsu combusted into flames and Grey retaliated with starting up his ice magic.  "You heard me!" "Silence you two!  Can't you see that Seradith is in the middle of telling her story?!" Erza glared.  "Aye sir!" They replied.
You cleared your throat.  "No, none of that, the castle was really well preserved and almost looked like it was stuck in time, that's how amazing it looked."  "So you saw nothing weird then?" Natsu asked rather disappointed.  "No, sorry...but then there was this creepy old maid keeper lady who had really huge front teeth and looked at you like she was going to eat your soul or something, if that counts." You and Lira both shudder at the sudden flash memory of that keeper.
"How boring." he was blunt yet again.
"Don't be so rude Natsu!" Lucy scolded.  "Yeah yeah." He frowned unimpressed.  "Honestly you need to learn some manners Natsu, geez."  "Whatever." He leaned back against the chair and Lucy just continued to berate him.  You couldn't help but giggle at it all.  It was really like a big ol' family here.  It was nice.
You looked down into your mug as your eyes lowered a bit, a small hint of sadness flickered in them as you recalled how you never really had such a luxury.  It was always just you, that is until Lira came into your life and then it was just you and her against the world.
"What's wrong child?" Makarov's voice broke you concentration.  You flustered a bit at being caught and tried to brush it off.  "Oh nothing sir." You stuttered, beads of nervous sweat forming on the back of your head.  He looked at you through one open eye as he sat in the same position he was in before closing it again.  "Very well then."  You took a breath of relief.
It was just then when you heard the creaking of the guild doors opening that turned everyone's attention towards the front.  As the doors opened to a halt 4 wizards walked in, all in a group.  It was then you realized who they were.  The blonde spiked hair, the short, barely dressed, specks woman, those rather alarming long green locks, and a questioning looking helmet that covered half of his face.  Your heart nearly flat lined right there.
"Ah Laxus my boy, welcome back." Makarov spoke.  You and Lira stared wide eyes at the group that just walked in.  It was almost godlike as they kind of sparkled in your eyes for some reason.  The short brunette lady on the right with the flashy dress, glasses and a smug attitude to go with it was Evergreen, a vivacious wizard with a bod to back it up.  The tall gentleman on the left with the weird long moss green hair was Freed Justine.  Keen with his scripture magic, quite brilliant.  The tall man in the back of him was Bixlow.  He had that weird helmet that made you feel somewhat uneasy even through magazine pictures.
And then there was him.  The tall, blonde, muscular man, with what seemed like a permanent scowl printed on his face was Laxus, the leader.  All together they were the Thunder Tribe, solely named mainly because of Laxus lightening.  He was a lightening dragon slayer after all.
"Welcome back guys, how did the job go?" Mira asked in her usual cheerful tone.  "It went well actually, we finished it in record time if I do say so myself." Freed replied with a slight bit of cockiness in his tone.  Mira just chuckled.  As for Lira and you, well y'all couldn't take your eyes off them.  It was like the air around you became so thick that you could barely breath.
"Alright Laxus!  You're back!" Natsu grinned mischevously.  "So how about we have a fight?!" He was so enthuastic as he ran up towards Laxus.  "Not today Natsu, I'm not in the mood." He spoke uninterestedly.  "Oh come on Laxus!  That's not fair!  You always pass me up!"
"I don't think it's a good idea to try anything today Natsu." Ever replied a bit worried.  "Yeah, Laxus didn't have a very good time on our way back here, so he's not in a very good mood." Bixlow added.  "Why, what happened?" Gray asked.  "Just some punk thug wannabe thieves tried to challenge us.  As you can see..." her eyes glanced down at the bottom of Laxus overcoat which had been shredded with many holes.  "Let's just say it didn't end well for those punks." Freed sweatdropped.
"Really?!  You let some low life punks get the the better of you Laxus?!" Natsu taunted.  His face turned dark.  "I thought you were the strongest one in the guild."  Laxus face darkened and the others looked at him with shock.  "What do you have a death wish or something Natsu?!" Bixlow asked bewildered.  "I guess it wouldn't be much of a fight if we fought now huh?"  Laxus was pissed. You can see it clearly in his face.
"Come on Laxus!  Prove me wrong!" He attacked.  And with a swish of his wrist, Natsu was face down imbedded deep in the floor of the guild.  Laxus retracted his arm and grunted.  He didn't even bother to look his way.  Everyone sweatdropped.  "That didn't even last 2 seconds." Droy stated.  Romeo sighed deeply and shook his head.  "Oh Natsu."
"Anyways, Laxus, Evergreen, Freed, Bixlow.  I want to intoduce you to someone."  "Huh?  Introduce us?" Ever questioned curiously.  "Yes, this is Seradith and Lira, they are travelers who happen to be quite the fans of our guild, and came all this way to meet us all."  "Yeah, they've been everywhere in Fiore and seen a lot of cool places, they were just talking about them actually." Levi smiled.
"They came here to meet all of us, including a few who are their idol's, though we still have no clue who they are." Lucy giggled.  Evergreen gave a smug grin.  "I see, well as you can see I am Evergreen, the most beautiful woman in ALL of Fairy Tail and part of one of the strongest teams here." She winked.  "No pictures please." She spoke as she strutted a pose.  "And I am Freed.  I too am part of the strongest team in Fairy Tail." He bowed slightly.  "Yowza!  Hey there cutie, the names Bixlow and these are my babies. And we're here to rock your world, baby!"  He threw a rock symbol at you as he stuck his fairy tail marked tongue out through his creepy grin.  "Rock your world, baby!" The tiki drums repeated in unison.
