oh that feel when one of your favourite songs by your favourite musical artist only exist as a single bootleg posted 16 years ago and a good amount of the lyrics are ineligible because of the recording quality 🥲

Trans Musicians and Songs
If you are trans, sooner or later you'll come across these artists or songs:
Cavetown (He/They): British indie boy. They're great. Home is a must listen, especially for young folx.
Against me!: American punk band. Their last two albums (Shape Shift with Me (2016), Transgender Dysphoria Blues (2014)) feature a lot of songs about Laura Jane Grace (the frontwoman)'s trans experience. Recommended especially if you're transfem, anarchist and into punk.
The town inside me (YT), from Guilty Gear Strive's soundtrack. It's a fan favourite among transfems.
Noahfinnce: A trans man who mostly writes pop punk songs. He has stated that future songs will be closer to just punk though.
Lena Raine: She made the iconic soundtrack for Celeste, also some of the best music in Minecraft.
Our Colourful Demons: Two piece alternative band from Canada. The lead singer is transfem and the drummer is a lesbian. They have an EP (YT) out that the lead singer wrote and recorded while she was in the process of cracking her egg and coming out. Spotify , Youtube
I/Me/Myself ( "I wish I could be a girl") by Will Wood. Spotify, Website, Youtube
The Village (YT) by Wrabel - about the coming out experience of a trans*masc person Youtube, Spotify
Trans artists that I know of but haven't listened yet/that haven't yet necessarily talked about their trans experience in music include: Quinn Christopherson (I only know Erase Me, and that song is a punch in the stomach), 100 gecs, Kim Petras, Wendy Carlos, SOPHIE. Lou Reed has some good trans representation in some of his songs, but I'm not sure he was a great ally too. I'd also suggest listening to Auntie Diaries by Kendrick Lamar. I know it has it's problems (deadnaming and misgendering), but I think that he, and the song, are on the "good side of history", and the spirit behind the song is what I would love to see in every person on Earth.
Some more music recommendations, specifically trans artists talking about their trans experiences. Just listing songs I personally know and like, all of these artists have way more trans songs than I'm listing:
Laura Les (half of 100 gecs): How to dress as human. Hyperpop icon. Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Spotify, Youtube Hyperpop has a ton of great trans musicians, such as SOPHIE, Dorian Electra, Trust Fund Ozu, underscores, osquinn, and the next musician:
Chase Icon (NSFW): SRS. About being proud to be a trans woman. Hyperpop. Soundcloud, Spotify, Youtube
She/her/hers: Gender is boring and Nvr Pass. Reflecting on her relationship to gender. Rock and roll. Bandcamp, Spotify, Youtube
Worriers: They / Them / Theirs. Being non-binary in a society. Punk. Spotify, Youtube
Blue Foster: IDK If I'm a Boy. Uncertainty and exploration of gender. Indie pop? Spotify, Youtube
Ryan Cassata: Gender Binary (Fuck You): Rejecting the gender binary, from a transmasc background. Rock. Also Daughter, about relating to one's parents after transition. Spotify, Youtube
Marnanel: The non-binary song. Confidence and solidarity. Bandcamp, Spotify
Addison Grace: I wanna be a boy. Gender longing. Indie pop. Spotify, Youtube
Eyemèr: Bird, you can fly. Comfort in being non-binary. Indie. Also Reborn, about gender euphoria, and specifically transmasc top surgery. Soundcloud, Spotify, Youtube, Wordpress
Evan Greer: indie non-binary punk artist, makes songs about anarchism Spotify, Youtube
Planningtorock aka Jam Rostron – is a Bolton-born Berlin-based self-taught, non-binary, working-class musician. Theyre on Youtube, Spotify and other platforms.
Flummox aka Alyson Blake Dellinger is a trans musician based in Nashville, TN, USA. Youtube, Spotify
Perpetually Pist is a trans AntiFascist Black Metal musician based in Madison, WI, USA. Bandcamp
Precious Child A trans musician/director/activist based in Los Angeles, CA, USA. Bandcamp, Youtube, Spotify
https://raddle.me/wiki/trans/resources/music
Five transgender anarchist black metal bands
feminazgul, transgressive, feminizer, bury them and keep quiet, espi kvlt, grey flesh tethered, tachanka
can i also add astral ruin to this, i believe a one-woman band, sorta raw screechy stuff pretty pretty good

Day 48: Fashion Drama
I'm almost at Hateno with my neat little korok cart… when a chuchu sets the cart on fire and my wheels roll away. I carry the korok the rest of the way and whistle for Pumpkin to follow.
I'm starting to think I should keep a towing harness on him always, in case of meeting koroks.
I stop at Addison's sign to give the guy a hand. Then we finally head into town mid-afternoon.

There's a kid guarding the gate - Teebo. His dad's at Lookout Landing, apparently.
Nack is in the Pumpkin patch. He says people used to come here for the vegetables, but now they come for Cece's fashion. That's what Claree mentioned in Kakariko - her sister was coming here to study fashion. I wonder if she's made it?
Everyone in town's wearing these mushroom hats. Ivee at the general store says they're Cece fashion, and points me at the clothing store across the way. There's a crowd of people, all with mushroom hats. They're waiting for tickets to go into a shop? Baffling.
It looks like Cece's sister Sophie is running the shop. Or… not a shop. I can just look at the things? More like an exhibition. That explains the tickets.
Cece is certainly bold. She's made an extraordinary hat.

A man bursts in - Mayor Reede. The sculptures are… bothering the plants? Even his wife Clavia thinks some people must like the art. The argument is avant-garde vs quaint. Cece wants to run for mayor to see which is more popular. I can't help but feel like there are bigger problems - but you can't even see Hyrule Castle from here. Those troubles must seem distant.
I tell Cece I support her - no point making enemies - and she asks me to give mushrooms to Reede's supporters. Anyone who isn't wearing a mushroom hat, basically. But not Reede's family, children, travellers or researchers. That leaves eight people. Fine.
I should check with Reede to see if he wants me to do anything to drum up support for him, too.
Sophie says Cece has been sneaking off in the middle of the night. She asks me to tail her and find out why. Intriguing.
There's a guy called Manny who's infatuated with Ivee. Didn't he used to be infatuated with the woman who worked at the inn? I think she's married now...
He wants to know what Ivee likes - I ask her, and she says frogs. 100 frogs. He'd like help gathering them, and asks me to get ten hot-footed frogs. Sure, if I come back this way one day and happen to have ten frogs, he's welcome to them. He needs to learn that this is not how you get girls to love you, though.
In the dye shop, Sayge, Senna and their son Sefaro. Sayge gives me some Cece brand fabric I might like to use for my paraglider.
Uma, who tends the fields out by the school (there's a school?) accepts a mushroom and says she just wants the young people to stick around.
Cece leaves the shop at 10pm - I almost miss her sneaking out. She heads to a nearby silo - and secretly indulges in eating vegetables!

Reede will enjoy this, if he finds out.

Did you end up deciding what Rafe would name his girls?? I wanna know what you think! In my mind, he’d go for more classic, maybe European sounding names
why is this the sweetest ask ive ever gotten literally made me tear up because you remembered i posted that and cared enough to ask 🥹🩵 don’t mind me I LOVE you
but I completely agree he would sooooo only agree on like classic older names he HATES trendy names. such millennial humor makes fun of names with exaggerated weird spellings like mackinleighie but then suggests dorothy or marjorie and ur like. rafe she’s not gonna be born as an 80 year old great-grandma
I personally think he would accidentally suggest four letter names (because he’s thinking of names like his lol) and then the first two get named with four letters so then he’s like we have to keep the pattern for the other two and ur like Rafe. Seriously.
soooooo in my head i think it would be something like june, lucy, ivey, nora, or eden (which is my fave baby name lol so had to throw it in there). i think he takes a lot of convincing to like the name sage but eventually caves. in my head (and probably in some fic some day) in order it would be june who is the oldest, eden second oldest and sage who is the youngest girl. for boy names i can only think of one which is reed <3 he would be so happy if him and his baby boy had the same initial.
if i didnt follow this four letter trend i think hed like maybe charlotte, reese, noelle, elise, maybe addison (calls her addy… stop)
again for boys i think reed is the top name but maybe something like knox or ryan!
this was the most fun thing ever and i just revealed all of my baby names i love too but <333333 also im desi so in MY canon world the kids would be like zara or maybe zoya, mahiya, nandini, and maybe rohan or veer for a boy :)))))))))))
thank you for asking this omg i love u.. visit again soon!

Character Actor
Gerald Mohr (June 11, 1914 – November 9, 1968) Radio, film, and television character actor and frequent leading man, who appeared in more than 500 radio plays, 73 films, and over 100 television shows.
From the 1950s on, he appeared as a guest star in more than 100 television series, including the Westerns The Californians, Maverick, Johnny Ringo, The Alaskans, Lawman, Cheyenne (as Pat Keogh in episode "Rendezvous at Red Rock"/as Elmer Bostrum in episode "Incident at Dawson Flats"), Bronco, Overland Trail (as James Addison Reavis, "the Baron of Arizona", in the episode "The Baron Comes Back"), Sugarfoot, Bonanza (as Phil Reed in the episode "The Abduction", as Collins in the episode "Found Child", as Cato Troxell in the episode "A Girl Named George"), The Rifleman, Wanted: Dead or Alive (episode "Till Death do us Part"), Death Valley Days (as Andrés Pico in "The Firebrand"), and Rawhide. In 1949, he was co-announcer, along with Fred Foy, and narrator of 16 of the shows of the first season of The Lone Ranger, speaking the well-known introduction as well as story details. The narration was dropped after sixteen episodes.
Mohr guest-starred seven times in the 1957–62 television series Maverick, twice playing Western gambler Doc Holliday in "The Quick and the Dead" and briefly in the conclusion of "Seed of Deception", a role he reprised again in "Doc Holliday in Durango", a 1958 episode of Tombstone Territory. In one of the other Maverick episodes, he portrayed Steve Corbett, a character based on Bogart's in Casablanca. That episode, "Escape to Tampico," used the set from the original film, this time as a Mexican saloon where Bret Maverick (James Garner) arrives to hunt down Mohr's character for an earlier murder.
Mohr also guest-starred on Crossroads, The DuPont Show with June Allyson, Harrigan and Son, The Barbara Stanwyck Show, It's Always Jan, Perry Mason, 77 Sunset Strip, Hawaiian Eye, Lost in Space, Ripcord and many other television series of the era, especially those being produced by Warner Bros. Studios and Dick Powell's Four Star Productions. He sang in the 1956 Cheyenne episode "Rendezvous at Red Rock". He also essayed Captain Vadim, an Iron Curtain submarine commander, in the Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea episode "The Lost Bomb". In the series' fourth and final season (1968-69), Mohr guest-starred in the episode "Flight From San Miguel" on The Big Valley. This episode was broadcast posthumously in April 1969.
Mohr made guest appearances on such network television comedy shows as The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show (1951), How to Marry a Millionaire (1958), The Jack Benny Program (1961 & 1962), The Smothers Brothers Show (1965) and The Lucy Show (1968). He had the recurring role of newsman Brad Jackson in My Friend Irma (1952). He played "Ricky's friend", psychiatrist "Dr. Henry Molin" (real life name of the assistant film editor on the show), in the February 2, 1953 episode of I Love Lucy, "The Inferiority Complex". His repeated line was, "Treatment, Ricky. Treatment".
In 1954–1955, he starred as Christopher Storm in 41 episodes of the third season of Foreign Intrigue, produced in Stockholm for American distribution. During several episodes of Foreign Intrigue, but most noticeably in "The Confidence Game" and "The Playful Prince", he can be heard playing on the piano his own musical composition, "The Frontier Theme", so called because Christopher Storm was the owner of the Hotel Frontier in Vienna. Foreign Intrigue was nominated for an Emmy Award in 1954 under the category "Best Mystery, Action or Adventure Program" and again in 1955 under the category "Best Mystery or Intrigue Series".
Mohr made four guest appearances on Perry Mason (1961–66). In his first appearance, he played Joe Medici in "The Case of the Unwelcome Bride". In 1963, he played murder victim Austin Lloyd in "The Case of the Elusive Element". In 1964, he played the murderer, Alan Durfee, in "The Case of a Place Called Midnight". In 1966, he played agent Andy Rubin in the series' final episode, "The Case of the Final Fadeout".
He continued to market his powerful voice, playing Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic) in the Fantastic Four cartoon series during 1967 and Green Lantern in the 1968 animated series Aquaman. (Wikipedia)
