Cc required many new techniques, and was incredibly time consuming. Each seam has multiple layers of stitching for the trims and seams themselves. Layering in the zippers took a bit, but after getting all of the suit topstitched and a quick wear test I was able to move on to the shoes. The shoes started as a pair of white pumps with a lot of embellishments. Once these were all removed the 2 layers of the shoe were separated and my shoe fabric was stretched, glued, and stamped down with shoemaker's staples. Finally it was time to put both layers back together. Using a heavy duty shoe adhesive they were clamped back together for 24 hours. Finally, my zippers were added to get in and out. During the first time out and about they held together beautifully. My feet were stable and I had no trouble walking around other than a few patches of floor that was torn to shreds. I'm ecstatic with how she looks and can't wait to show you the photos. . .
